I had a post paid connection at Airtel (Mobile Number:[protected]) in Chattisharh. I Continued with the same for pretty long time. I had a balance of Rs 5000 in Airtel money of the said account. During the bill period 20.02.2013 to 19.03.2013 my bill was 5971.49. I requested airtel team to use my airtel money amount for payment purpose. Residual amount will be paid by me in cash. But they didn't agreed . In a fine morning I got a call from Aitrel Delhi office who introduced me as Legal officer and informed me to pay immediately otherwise legal action will be initiated. I paid the amount and deactivated my connection. They are now telling that it can't be paid as the connection has been discontinued. Kindly help me in getting my deposited amount back with interest.     I have taken Airtel Broadband connection 10 days back . I paid 2400 rupees . I have not yet received the connection .No one is responding to my calls .There is no proper response from the Customer care people as well . We have got manager sales manager number as well .He is also not responding to my calls .If i call from other numbers he is picking up the calls, means they are intentionally not attending my calls . Its already 10 days, still we don't know what is the status of my connection . I never except such a worst service from the AIRTEL .

      Hi Friends, I want to share my bitter experience with Airtel and it's Nodal Authorities. I just want to you all to be aware of the Airtel's fake offers which they post in the newspaper to promote the sale of Phones or Tablets. Couple of months back, I was looking to buy a Tablet and I came across an ad in Sunday Times (Bangalore) in which the ad was for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo. Airtel offer for the sale of this tab was 300MB of free data for 12 months. I believed in the Airtel offer and purchased the tablet and a new Airtel connection for the tab. My experience with Airtel and it's Nodal authority to get the offer is very bad. I am copying the mail below which I had sent to the Nodal officers. In the first month, they were in favour of the customer and from the second month onwards, they have started to work for and in favour of Airtel. Note: After the last mail, I shared my personal mobile number with the Nodal officer and they never called back. Today again I called the Airtel CC 10 minutes back to ask about the offer. I had called the CC from the tab using the new Airtel number. The CC asked me if I have inserted the new Airtel number and I informed them that I was calling from the new Airtel number inserted in the tab. For this, Airtel CC told me that I was calling from Nexus 7 phone and that I was lying. When I again confirmed that I was calling from Tab 3 Neo, they told me stay on hold and after making me wait for 10 mins and then, they disconnected the call from their side. This is very insulting for the customer. Why should the company post the Ads in the newspaper and cheat the customer. And when the customer call the CC, why should they insult the customer? I am very disturbed that I have been cheated and insulted for no mistakes of mine. Hence, I am approaching you. Need your help in this regard.       Airtel also offers fraud offers on prepaid my offers *121# where they say Rs5 charged for 900 local and STD seconds valid for 2 days but money will be charged from main balance and the offer will be valid only for one day because they dont mention time at all. Airtel cant manage compitition hence they are doing thiese frauds to survive...but they will loose customers for better networks

        I Myself Jacob am a partially blind person. So on 6-Jul-14 I preferred to listen to your IVR for more talktime plans. I dialed 198 & followed the instructions. There I heard the following as voice message.

        Get talktime of 430 Rs on recharge of 399 Rs. Get 352 & Rs 11 paise instantly and extra talktime of 77 Rs & 89 paise in next 4 hours. Recharge your airtel today. To repeat press 0.

        Note in IVR, there is no word about black berry or internet, else I won't have recharged with this amount as my device is not black berry and a partial blind person can't access internet in mobile.

        After hearing this, I asked my friend who does recharge to recharge my mobile [protected] with a sum of Rs 399. He recharged with the same amount. I got message as recharge successful with no additional balance.
        I called customer care. They said that 399 was for black berry phone to use for internet purpose. Not satisfied with their reply I asked them to transfer my call to senior authority Mr. Omendra. He agreed that the fault was with airtel. He said that he will send an email to higher authority after that within 24 hours I will receive a call & instead of 399 my number will be recharged for Rs 398. I agreed to that.

        As till the next afternoon I did not get any call from airtel, I again dialed customer care number. I asked the operator to forward my call to senior. This time Mr. Shaikh said that I will have to visit nearest gallery & let them hear the voice which I have recorded from IVR. He also said that there was no email being sent from Mr. Omendra as he said he will the last night.

        On same evening I visited airtel gallery at Dombivli W (opp railway station) and let them hear the IVR directly. People at gallery said that they can't send email, instead the person who recharged must take the recharge back. They were not even ready to speak with my friend who recharged to tell him the procedure of reversal. But when I urged them, they told him what to send as SMS for reversal. He sent the same. He got the reply that SW transaction cannot be accepted on automation.
        Again I called customer care and as usual asked operator to forward my call to senior. This time I got to speak with Mr. Prashant. I explained him the whole situation. I also said that I was at gallery and if required he can confirm with their own staff whether there was an error in their IVR. He said that there was no need for such. He registered a complaint & committed that I will get call from senior within 4 hours. If not I can contact Nodal team. He gave me the complaint number[protected]. Reference number:[protected].

        As the problem was not yet solved, I called today again. This time senior Mr Khan was asking me to let him hear the recorded IVR.

        My phone model is Nokia X2-00. This does not support playing audio while in call. My question is why there is such difference between different people of same profile. If it was necessary to hear the recording, I was present yesterday at their own gallery. They could have confirmed with their own team.

        Note on all calls, I had informed that I am blind person and not to harass me and also requested them to solve this matter on priority as I've to recharge with 398 and continue my work. My usual recharge per month was more than 500 - 700.

        Till now no call from any airtel person.

        If required, I can mail my blindness report also.

        My writing this mail is not just to tell you about my sad story. I want my mobile to be recharged with Rs 398 immediately. Because of low network of Vodafone at my house I ported to airtel. Do you want me to port out from you?

        With the hope of solution, I've written this mail & told you my grievence. If you too don't do any action, then without another option I'll have to publish this same mail in youtube & social networks as a voice against airtel

          We had filed a complaint around 15 days back, the technical guy comes on 15th day and rectifies it. Once he leaves, again the same connection problem continues. I have filed a complaint again today, i hope the guy comes and rectifies it within 2 days hopefully.

            below is the email i sent to airtel :- no actions taken yet in regards to my complaint sumit thorat <[protected]@gmail.com> Apr 22 to 121 Hi, My name is Sumit Thorat and my airtel post paid number is [protected]. I have been a genuine and a loyal customer of your company since the last 4 to 5 years. I want to make an official complaint in regards to a serious lapse of customer service by your collection agents. Due to my work, i had to travel a lot due to which my bill gets pending. Therefore while i am travelling my parents take care of my phone bills. I always keep black checks signed for my parents to use it towards our utility bill. I prefer cheque payment rather than online or cash. So for my pending bill of INR 5000.00 i had received a call from a collection agent called Irfan who advised me to give a cheque of the same amount, i had informed that i will not be able to put a confirm date on the cheque because my dad recently was hospitalized and i paid a huge hospital bill, i wanted to buy time so i advised Irfan that il contact them while i am able to pay the bill in full. To which the agent advised me to give a check at least without putting a date as its a financial year ending so they have to close all the pending bills by 31MAR. He further advised me that he will personally contact me to ask the date when i am ready to pay the bill, to which i agreed and instructed my parents to give the cheque to a airtel guy who will be visiting our place. On 03/04/2014 is got a check return notification from my bank and on further investigation to my surprise i found out that t is the same cheque which has been returned which i gave to your collection agent. Upset and disappointed i tried calling that agent irfan on his personal number which he gave me but no response. After 2-3 days i received a call from irfan advising me that my cheque has been returned upon question him how it was even put for clearance when i had not given an authorised date. I advised that it was a mistake from their back hand dept, in a fist of anger and with a feeling of betrayal i disconnected the phone. As a result i now have a Home Loan file pending for approval at my bank managers desk. Reason ??? the return check which i gave you guys with trust and loyalty. My cibil report is now affected and my bank is now re considering my application for a home loan. I am now in a jeopardy due to this serious error done by you guys. My dream house is shattered. i will not only call this a major service lapse but actually a big time fraud. I feel cheated. Today again i received a call from airtel asking me to pay the bill. out of anger i told i am not going to pay the bill and i was called a non genuine customer ???? to whomsoever it may concern please check my records and my usage and my payments that i had done to this great company and yourself check my genuinity. i never denied paying my bills. I want to be compensated handsomely as because of a single mistake your end i don't know how long i had to wait to buy my dream house because as i am typing my application for loan still remains pending because of the cheque i gave you guys.               I have submitted an application for surrender of my number [protected] in the last week of March 2014 after making a payment of Rs. 476.07. This application was submitted to Customer Relationship Centre situated at RDC, Rajnagar, Ghaziabad. The girl at the help desk took the application and said your number will be closed within 48 hrs. But to my surprise, I have again received a bill in the month of April for Rs. 155.33. I called up customer care people to ask that why are you sending me bills when I have surrendered my connection after all the payments. Customer care guy told me that your number is still operational and Relationship centre lady has just blocked your sim as you requested that your cell has been lost and you wanted airtel to block the sim. This was so stupid. I never told them to block my sim. It was a simple case of surrender. I explained the guy and he assured me that ok now I will place the request from my system and your number will be closed within 48 hrs. But this was not the end. Again in the month of May 2014, I have received a bill of Rs. 115.70. And they have also added the last bill in the amount and asked me to pay total sum of Rs. 271.03. I again called up the customer care explaining the situation to him and he again reassured me that now these bills will not come to you and by mistake we had sent the bill and I will stop the services of your number with immediate effect. But Alas! again in the month of June I have received a bill of Rs. 209.21. And then they have added the last two bills also and directed me to pay a sum of Rs. 480.24 IMMEDIATELY. Now, again I called up the customer care and he simply told me I cant do anything, your number is still not surrendered and you have to pay the bill. He also insisted me to convert this number to prepaid which I denied.                 Sir, I wished to have an airtel Data Card demo for getting Internet connection for which I am contacting your Pondicherry service provider for the past one week. There was no responsible reply from your authorised servic e provider. Finally after several attempts one Marketing Official namely, Lawerance, whose mobile no.[protected] got in touch with me but only making to wait almost daily ant never took any interest to show me the demo. But when I constantly pressed him to show me the demo you used derogatory remarks and asked me to make complaint him to anyone or anywhere. Since Airtel is proving a better service I wished to have in Internet connection through service, but the attitude of the of individual, Lawerance is very abusive and irresponsible. I request you to be pleased to look into this matter early arrange to redress my request, besides request you to take appropriate action against the said erring official in your own interest and reputation of the firm. Internet works well on weekdays and didn't work in the weekends. I called to customer care at least ten times from the number [protected], and complaint to them. One day, I told them that I am going to surrender the connection, some one in the cutomer care asked me to put on hold and next minute the Internet started...

                  Reference number :CWRCH[protected] Hi All One of my friend who is a college student using airtel [protected]. He bought this long back but recently upgraded to 4G sim as he bought new iphone Apple 5C. Here the Airtel started looting in the name of International roaming charges.Twice they did.Then he called CC then they credited amount 70 and 34.Third time and 4th time they debited again but that amount not crediting.And the worst part is recently his account balance is around 4rupees.So he send sms to airtel for 10 rupees credit. 10 rupees credited.Then airtel not got sleep without looting it.So in that again 7 rupees looted in the name of international roaming charges.Big fraud is every time they debit early in the mornings in between 4am to 6am.When he call Cc they gave some reference to speak somebody which leads airtel appellate dept.Here this guy try to teach him as if he don't know how to use phone as how to switch off mobile data.Past 6years he using internet in phones and this airtel employee trying to teach how to use mobile data.Instead of accepting as they are doing daylight robbery they are posing as if client don't know how to use phone.Sad part is neither Airtel management nor CC heads even bother to explain how a guy who is roaming in bangalore city roads will be debited in the name of international roaming.And the worst part is this CC guy referes as airtel appellate whom spoken at abv ref number says as they credited earlier because of good will they did.Till date how much money they gave as goodwill and why they are giving if its not their fault.They are cheating in the name of different jargons and add on they pose as they are doing favor for customers.Can any one help me how to fight this.Because like this howmany customers they are robbing everyday in the name this IR charges.If anyone knows good lawyer who can fight this type of cases in consumers forum please let me know I'll give all details like when and how much they debited and credited. Thank you.

                    Been experiencing coverage issues since 10 years and have been complaining repeatedly since 2 years. Escalated here on facebook, then to Nodal. Nodal lied to me that they resolved the issue when they did not even come to my home to check the issue. Then escalated to appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com that Nodal officer is lying to me. The ...person who called me few minutes ago was thoroughly unprofessional and again tried to hush up the issue and trying to say they cannot do anything more than what they have already done. When I ask what they have done to better the issue he is clueless. Then suddenly he decides to do a U turn and says they have identified the issue and will resolve it in 90 days. Since 2 yrs they have been saying the same and done nothing except this time they are daring to lie to customers. When asked for further escalation he says there is no escalation beyond him and he is the last. By his voice, tone and professionalism, I could tell that he was less than a general operator who picks calls when 121 is dialled. I found the people attending to 121 far better and professional

                    He said he will reply back to my on mail with the following:
                    1) Apologizing for wrongly stating to me earlier that the issue was resolved
                    2) Issue will be rectified in next 90 days after taking reading at my home
                    3) Say to me that they cant provide better service
                    4) State that he is last point of escalation and no one beyond him

                    All of the above reasons are why we still continue to be your customers. Airtel is really the best when it comes to customer satisfaction.

                    And finally, I received the below mail from appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com with 2 broken links and must I say how professionally its written by person claiming to be last point of escalation? Not even a hello? Should airtel still employ such liars?

                      I recharged for 3g online with TXN ID 910456 for my mobile number [protected], and amount got deducted from account but i dint receive any confirmation. when i called customer service to check, i got very poor response a guy cant talk properly both tamil and english made me wait for sometime and said something which no one can probably understand and disconnected the line. When i called back my number was barred to their customer service and number was transferred to IVR loop without the option to reach manual intervention.

                      I bought a recharge coupon of Rs.50 but unfortunately I scratched the whole thing. I contacted airtel through dealers customer care and they saud they would credit me with my talktime. I&#039;ve already called 2-3 times. But still I didn&#039;t get my talktime. Is this the way you people treat your customers? I am new here and if you don&#039;t help, I will have to leave from your family.

                          On 27th May 2014, I made online payment to airtel digital tv for new DTH connection (Rs 1390, Transaction ID: 162049). Unfortunately transaction got failed but amount got deducted from my account. Customer Care is unable to help me because they want customer id which did not generate due to failed transaction.                             -Registered complaint that very day.
                            -After repeated calls a person visited on 3rd May.
                            -Comes unprepared without a new dish.
                            -After that no representative form Airtel came even after 20 calls.
                            -They closed the complaint on their own.
                            -We have been receiving promises that the complaint will be resolved in the 'next 24 hours' for the last seven days.
                            -We are being harassed by allegations that we have refused service charges and that was the reason of our complaint not being adressed.
                            -The customer service representative promise that there will be a callback from higher executives in a few hours, but we receive no calls.
                            -These people are really callous are taking present consumers for granted.
                            -There is absolutely no customer feedback system. They are closing complaints on their own without any feedback from the customers.
                            -We are really helpless now. We have dropped mails with no effect. Really helpless.

                            hi.. ditto same thing happened with us. same dust storm - ours got damaged on the 30th, same damage, same wait - same issue of fresh SRs (5 of them) raised by the call center to ensure TAT is not crossed. plus i haven't had an engineer visit yet. have sent a mail marking a ton of different mail ids.

                            the call center is useless - they will only give you platitudes and not be able to help.
                            i've finally just got a call from an engineer saying he is on his way. not sure if the emails helped, or screaming at the call center helped. got my fingers crossed that he makes it this time!
                            hope your issue gets resolved soon. do check - they should ideally not be deducting your daily balance while the TV is out of commission. They have charged me for it - and that is a separate battle we are fighting. all the best!

                              I am Sadhvi babbar ([protected], [protected]) an airtel retailer having sales of RS 90000 on easy recharge and i want to register a complaint against an airtel distributor named Mr.Ashok gupta from western telecom ([protected]) is continously forcing me to makes of airtel coupons of atleast 25% which is impossible in this area because people don't even buy any single recharge coupon of Rs 10 so tell me how can i make sales of Rs 25000 and having very rude behaviour with the senseless way of talking and he don't how to talk with females, he is most disgusting man i have ever seen, its a humble request kindly change my distributor, there is huge queue of people waiting to get the distributorship of airtel, these kind of persons are just nothing more than just a freak and this type of attitude of these freaks affects this reputation and goodwill of the company, even if he cannot handle this authority, i am ready to take the distributorship of airtel, kindly take quick action against him because that person is contiously forcing me to make sales and taking name of higher management that he is getting pressure from higher departments kindly take some actions against him or please change my distributor, i hope you will take some action regarding my complaint..

                                On[protected] I recharged my Airtel Prepaid number +91 [protected] for Rs.200/- and today on[protected] my Balance drastically came down to Rs.108/- when contacted Airtel they said Rs.70/- has been deducted due to data usage. No information was given to me about the expiry of my data validity/30days. Airtel started deducting from main balance without any intimation. This is business malpractice, please refund my money back. If internet pack is over, Airtel should have stopped providing me internet services rather then deducting main balance. Please refund!!

                                  Dear sir, Todaay i had recharged Rs.11 on 10 a.m .payment is deducted from my a/c but there is no balance coming to my mobileand one messege is coming with recharge successfully with talktime credited with rs.1 rupees and processing fee 8.39 rupees. i donot know what is processing fee. plz consider this matter. mobile no-[protected]

                                    Horrible experience buying Airtel 4G dongle. I bought an airtel 4G dongle in Kolkata from your partner NEST Nirman on Saturday 31st May. After making the payment, I had to call up the Sales Rep 4 times to get the dongle in my hand. On 1st May, I received the dongle. All documents had been handed over on 31st. I was assured then that activation will happen by Monday 2nd June post Televerification (TV). On Monday 2nd June the dongle was still not activated. I had to call up repeatedly your Sales Rep on Tuesday, who said that you will receive confirmation call. I did receive 2 confirmation calls from Airtel that day. I received an SMS on Tuesday 3rd June evening for TV. After calling for TV, I was told that your SIM is already activated. When I tried using the dongle, it did not work. After calling your TV desk, they said due to some "system issue", I will have to wait 6 hours to use the services. On 4th June morning, the dongle still wasn't working. I again called the Verification Desk when after lot of waiting I was told that the 4G DEL no was not mapped to the ESN of the SIM I was given. I was given the option to go to the gallery and change the SIM. Please note I am a working professional and have no time to chase you around for services I am paying for. On informing your Sales Rep of the mistake from your order login team he put me through to your Zonal Sales Manager who very confidently assured me that problem will be resolved by 5th June. That was yesterday. Yesterday, the dongle was still not activated. On calling your ZSM, he did not respond to my calls. Finally, when he picked up he said he was surprised your problem is not resolved and will call me later. He did not call me back. After calling him again, he said that your SIM number has changed and that you have to do TV again. How was I supposed to know that the SIM number is changed? No one called me, no one informed me. I was told he will call after 10 min. He smsed me to "support him". After that he has stopped picking up my calls, responding to my SMS. On calling TV desk with new SIM no, they asked me to wait for 24 hours yesterday. On calling them today morning on 6th June, again they ask me to wait for 24 hours because documents are not uploaded in the system. How is this possible? What gross mismanagement is this? Also, I received SMS last evening i.e. 5th evening that Address Verification is pending. Why does your ZSM make false assurances if he can not deliver on them? What is going on? One week will have gone by and I don't see any hope of the SIM getting activated or getting any response from you. On wanting to escalate the matter to nodal officer, I was asking to provide SR #. On wanting to register a complaint to get a SR#, I was told because your account is not mapped to a DEL no, we can not register your complaint. What a vicious circle... I can not even register the complaint. I wanted to put this out for prospective buyers of airtel 4G services. I don't think airtel is equipped to handle the customers here. Buy at your own risk and be prepared for mental harassment and agony. This may not happen to you, but it could. +91-[protected]

                                      My airtel 3G dongle sim number [protected] I got this dongle in chennai and the speed was bit ok. But, on travel to Bangalore though the dongle light indicates a blue light hardly i am getting 10Kbps. I called up the customer care and got a msg to reach Chennai customer care. I called up customer care but, got a reply saying technical lead is on leave and asked to call me after 2 days. I have tried more than 10 times but, still no update. Would like to know is there any specific settings that need to be set in the dongle to get better speed ? If its not possible would like to disconnect this connection and go for local service providers. thanks

                                      There is no special settings for 3G, Already your datacard indicates blue light so without any doubt its working in 3G network. Even though there is an option to increase your speed. Please follow the instruction below.

                                      Go to &gt;
                                      Tools&gt;
                                      Options&gt;
                                      General&gt;
                                      there will be two connection types RAS and NDIS
                                      select NDIS and then click on OK
                                      Again come back to
                                      Tools&gt;
                                      Options&gt;
                                      Network&gt;
                                      Select Network type as WCDMA only

                                      And then remove your device, change the usb port and plug it will be working propery.
