Please look into the matter as these types of missed call from Pak like countries not safe for us as well as for Airtel. Keep me update also so that I will take care of these types of missed calls.     On 6th Nov.'13, I visited the Airtel Store located at 17, I-Block Market Sec-12 Noida in order to get a Micro sim for an already existing postpaid corporate connection. I went on behalf of my husband Monojit Mandal (mobile no.[protected]) with all the required documents and photographs as was told to me by a customer care executive whom I had contacted over phone. Once I reached there I was simply denied the issue of a Micro SIM; the reason being my husband has to be present on his own. It is really irritating; I understand for security reasons, the authorized owner of the particular mobile connection has to be present. But there can be a lot of inconvenience & urgency of the matter can be extreme such that the actual member may not be available in person. My question is when I am providing with all the required documents with a valid ID proof of the owner of the mobile connection, why was I straightaway denied of the Micro SIM in spite of the fact that I am the concerned person's wife. The company should keep some provision for the same. Moreover the person at the store did not even consult any of his superior nor did he ask me to talk to any of his superior. On top of that, he gave wrong information that the micro sim can be delivered to the desired address ( Please note that my residential address is 45 km away from the store) without any shipping charges. Later on, the same day I had ordered for the same by dialing customer care at 121 & I was told that I would get the sim within 2 days with an applicable shipping charge. But we have not received the micro SIM yet. The most annoying part is that these Airtel guys do not know anything and most of the time provide wrong information. My only request to Airtel is that issuing a sim card for an already existing postpaid connection to the wife of the authorized person will not lead to any security threat when the person is producing all the required documents with a valid ID proof. This has caused a lot of inconvenience to us & moreover, the Airtel guy misguided & told that there was no extra charge for shipping. It seems Airtel people always fool the innocent customers. I will surely discourage everyone I know from subscribing any kind of Airtel connection. - Manjira Saha

        For the last 2 months i am receiving same message for 2 times from airtel digital TV. I complainted several time sto customer care. Few point I would like to point here- 1-customer care is saying that they will call back with in 24hrs. but there is no response. 2-they are proving after asking for the complaint no but when i check with next customer care guy there are saying there is no such complaint no exists. airtel such a big organization is not all good at customer service. onething they need to take care that unless and until they stop the unethical activities for making money and no improvement in service then definately people will opt for other vendors.

          This complaint is being made out of sheer disgust because of total non-responsive and casual attitude of Airtel Digital TV customer care(tel:121500).Complaint was first made on 12th Oct. HD recorder would hang .TV was interrupted and recording was not working.The recorder was changed after 2 days but it developed same trouble after one day. Recorder was again changed on 26th Oct.but developed problem next day.Since that day complaint has been lodged many times. Ref complaint IDs33462616, 33916810, 34144150. Last complaint ID is34244507 of 29thOct. Everytime I call customer care asks me to confirm my address and Pincode though this info is all available with them.I have made atleast 20 calls each lasting 10-22 minutes.After getting fed up, on 01st Nov.I insisted on speaking to a senior manager. My call was diverted to senior desk.My whole story was repeated to Senior Managers Shalini, Himanshu, Abhishek and some more.They all assure that problem will be resolved 'next' day.These are all lies so that they can get rid of me and my call. They are all culprits in this harassment.They all promise to call me back. Never once have I received call nor has the vendor ever called me as is expected of them. The vendor is totally non-committal and has been telling me that repaired recorders are all bad. Incidentally, Rs.750 have been debited to my account even though the recorder has not been replaced Today again I spoke to Senior Manager Shiv Mohan but there is no further response. I am deprived of TV viewing for a month and not liable to pay TV charges for this period. I demand most urgent action to replace the faulty recorder and action against erring and irresponsible senior managers Brig(Retd)( Amarjit Singh.

          09 Nov: Since there was no response in the forenoon I called customer care (12150) at about 4.0 pm, who after checking with their vendor confirmed that set top box(HD recorder)will be replaced in the evening. I must thank Ankur from your Gurgaon office. He called at about 5.30 p.m. to confirm that a new STB is being provided. Vendor's engineer brought the supposedly new STB but it turned out to be faulty. The guy named Gauri Shankar gave the impression that they don't have a serviceable STB and all this is being done to hoodwink the customer and the consumer forum.Further, when I asked him to connect the old STB back he did that reluctantly because he knew that some setting had been changed.A few channels which were working also disappeared with error message 14.WE are without TV now and no indication as to when the STB will be changed. The vendor engineer is rude, arrogant and has been harrassing us for the last almost a month now .Perhaps expects some favour as we are at his mercy!.Please resolve my complaint tomorrow as I and my family are without TV/recorder.

          Vendor's engineer brought a supposedly new STB at about 7 in the evening as was given to understand by Mr. Ankur of your Gurgaon office. This turned out be faulty. Apparently this was a ploy to get rid of the consumer forum and the engineer who brought this perhaps knew about this. Mr. Gauri hankar the vendor's engineer who has visited before also is literally harassing us, perhaps expects favours as we are at his mercy! Airtel Digital must investigate this. Further, when we requested him to connect then old faulty STB so that we could atleast watch a few channels he did some thing so the old STB is now totally non-functional. We don't have the TV now at all. Mr. Vinod, the vendor's rep. who is playing the tricks togather with Gauri Shankar refused to listen to our complaint.He has not given any time or date when the STB will be replaced and our TV viewing will start. Request you to arrange early replacement by a new STB as promised and take action against the erring vendor /engineer

              I, Mr Mohammed Akram Shaikh, was an Airtel Datcard customer bearing the Airtel no [protected] who bought this number from Airtel in May. Since I have bought this number, I have never been able to access net from my residence in Ghatkopar-west.Since I have been lodging complaints in the customer care, none of the official ever tried to solve my problem and I have been getting continuous bills even after repeated complaints.No suddenly I have started getting threatening calls from Some Advocate Siraj Choudhary (his number-[protected]) from some Delhi session court with regards to the pending bills.One thing I have been very clear that the Airtel does not have proper service in all the areas.They have a pathetic service and no heed at all towards the customer complaints.One thing they do very well sending the bills on time and regular and rigorous follow-up to the customers with regards to bill payment.I had also forwarded my request for cancellation of my number as I have never been able to access the internet through the datacard.Infact I have never used it since ever after i was confirmed that I would never get a connection .I think this is an unjust action taken against any customer and threatening dadagiri, they are doing towards people.Please tell me why should I pay when I have already paid the dongle charges and an amount approximate of Rs 800 or above to them while taking the datacard. I would seek a legal assistance to take these people to task and save the hard earned money of the peole from draining into the mouth of such service companies who earn in crores from customers by way of charging extra services without even intimating customers.

                I was using an Airtel fixed line number for broadband connection. When I shifted to a new place, I closed that connection. But the problem is that even though I requested for a connection closure before the next billing cycle they did not initiate the process right away. In place of closing the connection, they kept calling me daily for next 10 days or so. The objective of the calls were to convince me to not close that connection. They kept asking me for the reason why I was closing that connection. When I told that I was closing the connection because I am moving to a new place, they asked me to move the connection to new place. When I told that the new place already has an internet connection and that too an Airtel connection, they tried to persuade me to transfer the connection to some friend. I again explained that my friends are already having internet connections and they will not be interested in a landline phone. But they kept insisting to transfer it. This was okay if they asked these questions once. But despite I explained it to them again and again they asked same set of questions every time. In the end, after more than 10 days since I requested for connection closure, they started the procedure. But by then the next billing cycle had started. Now they started asking me to pay the bill for last month. I told that I had not used it in that month and it was not my fault that last billing cycle started before closing the connection. But again they did not listen. This time also I got around 5-6 calls regarding my outstanding bill. Now they are threatening to take legal actions for the recovery of bill.

                  we got call on 07/11/13, time-10:40 am from mobile no.[protected]. they said that we have discount of Rs 2160 in our a/c and after recharging by Rs 299 in half an hour .we will get free service for 1 year. So we do the same .My a/c no. is [protected].But when we contact to customer care . told us that we have only Rs 299 balance in our a/c ...they said that this call was from company. I want my discount otherwise i will complaint in consumer court.

                        I am trying to access Airtel's website since morning today to recharge my mobile. I get the standard reply that 'this page is not available'. Why are these guys at Airtel not rectifying the problem even after seven, eight hours. Or is it that they don't care? Is the company going in liquidation or something?

                          Hi Customer Complaints Forum, On 27th July 2013, an executive came to my house for the installation of Airtel fixedline/Brodband and took Rs 1400 as the installation fees. He told me that some guys will come for the installation in few days. After 2 days, i got a call from Airtel Customer Support that due to lack of availability of connections, the installation cannot not happen and the amount will be refunded withing 15 days. It has been 4 months now and the refund has not been received yet. The customer care guys are saying that they have sent the check to my address but i have received nothing. They also said that if a check has been sent to the customer (Does not matter if customer has received or not), it cannot be re issued. What kind of policy is that? My question to Airtel is that if they do not have connections available, then why do they sent there executives to collect payment first. Why cant they first check the feasibility and then collect the payment of installation. Airtel still has my money. Just want to know how they are planning to show that money in there P/L Books...earning from cheating or profit from fooling customers!!!.                             I had lots of respect towards one of India's leading brand, but now its lost, I have airtel DTH at home, past 3 days I have video issue, blank screen with no signal occurs, this would usually happen only on rainy days but last two days the weather is normal still its the issue with my DTH, I spoke yesterday 5/11/2013 afternoon with the airtel customer care person, I was told that someone would call me and tech would come within evening, but no one came, then I called in the evening and was told that I would get a call and some one would be coming today 6/11/2013 morning on or before 11, still no one called, i spoke with the escalation team yesterday and even today i was again told that tech would call me before 1pm, no one called yet, so i called now, spoke with the same escalation team person named Ravi(whom i spoke with yesterday) he told me before 5 i would get the call, im speechless with the amount of customer service this brand is providing me and i was told by these people several times that i need to pay Rs 150 even though if its a relay issue from broadcasters end, which is atrocious, i cant believe why these people are charging for checking there own issue. Please escalate this to the right team, im sure i wont buy airtels project hereafter, this is a lesson for me.

                              Has anyone tried to visit Airtel's website recently? I did, many times in the last four days. It is a disaster. You try to reach 'Manage Servies', and see the fun. My advice: Only retired people and those who have plenty of time on their hands should attempt to visit the leading mobile firm's website. Otherwise, SWITCH OVER TO ANOTHER PROVIDER!

                                This complaint is regarding FRAUD and NON - FULFILLMENT of commitments made for Airtel DTH connection customer ID - [protected] 1. Charged more i.e. Rs 2250 than ongoing offer for new Connection i.e Rs 2090 2. Giving package ( i.e. Economy sports ) rather than ongoing/promised offer ( i.e Ultra package) i.e. Double Fraud by Charging more than actual ongoing offer and giving less services then actual services. DETAILS :- I applied for connection online at 25 Oct 2013 and got call from Airtel and given OFFER - Rs 2250 online or IVR payment and 2 months o[censored]ltra Package Free with SD+ Set Up Box. The payment was made using IVR option for 2250 on 26 October as explained/guided by the executive. Connection was installed at 6pm by Airtel person and he activated the account using my cellphone and he left the place. Then I found that Channels in Ultra packages are NOT coming. SO I called the Customer Care ( CC ) and register my complaints the same day . Customer care told to wait for 24 hrs and issue will get resolved. 27 Oct 2013 - problem continues.. called the CC again..and register the complaint again .Response = package will be upadate in 4 hrs. 28 Oct 2013 - problem still continues - called the CC so many times .. register complaint. Response - package will be updated in 2 hrs 29 Oct 2013 - problem still exists- called CC again n again . Response - problem is escalated and callback will come. Callback - explained same thing again . Response -problem will be solved in 24 hrs with full gaurantee 30 Oct 2013 - problem still exists - called CC again . Response - callback will be arranged .. .NO callback so-on . so-on . You can call be to get detailed information of above happenings and can cross verify the details with the call details from my Airtel Postpaid Number and also at your Customer Care Recordings and call details. Around 15-20 Customer care calls and 3 Conversation on CC callback. i.e. 7 hrs of converstion duration. Today is 06 Nov 2013 BUT !!! Problem Still Exists. i.e. 1 ) Customer Care offered - Rs 2250 Online payment - SD+ setup box, 2 Months Ultra packages Free 2 ) Actual Ongoing Online offer - Rs 2090 Online payment - SD+ setup box, 2 months Ultra package Free But !!! Activated subsciption :- Rs 2250 online payment - SD+ setup box, """ 2 months Economy Sports package "" ????? Please tell in which corner of world this offer given to me is running ???? Really Shocking... How Airtel executives are fooling customer and wat exactly they are getting by wasting the time and hard earned money of customer using such unprofessional and cheap tricks. Its really strange, i paid for DTH connection 26 October and from first day itself and till now rather enjoying DTH services and i am busy complaining every day. I feel like i paid Rs 2250 to harass my self with help for Airtel Executives. 1. Please resolve the complaint on immediate basis and give me the services for which i paid my hard earned money. 2. Moreover Compenstate the 12+ day long harassment caused by Airtel to the customer in whatever possible manner. Otherwise Disconnect my connection immediately and give my money back.

                                  I am Siva from bangalore. I have been using Airtel broadband for more than 2 years as of now. I have never been happy even for two months without any problems. Every time, I face hell lot of problem and this is the only service provider who is so cheap and never keep their promises and full of miscommunication. I even use Airtel mobile postpaid and my number is [protected] and that service delights me and I am happy to say that I am an delighted customer of airtel mobile service and the first person to stand in the queue of poeple who hate airtel broadband services. My airtel landline number is [protected]. I was promised many discounts and after long and long struggle I get that after making 10 - 15 followups, this time it has got even worse and still I am facing issues but the problem is not rectified. Very poor service, I cam across so far from any service provider. I strongly recommend people not to go with this service provider at any cost unless if you want to face issues and false promises.

I have submitted all the documents and paid 599 amount & 50rs for sim on 26th October 2013. My application number is - KKPA-741670. The airtel customer care person told that it will take 3 days/72 Hrs to process my request, they also told that within 2 days i will get confirmation call from airtel executive for verification after that it i will get new postpaid sim of same number from airtel. Its already 11 days still i didn't got any update or confirmation call from Airtel regarding the migration of prepaid to postpaid. I am trying to contact the manger regarding the status of the application whose number is - [protected], who has received my application form, documents & amount, is not responding to my call. kindly help me to migrate my number from prepaid to postpaid and provide me the new postpaid SIM for the same asap.

Next day they came to address verification, but i was in office that time. So i got message as "Due to incomplete verification of your billing address, your prepaid no could not be converted to postpaid no. visit nearest airtel center". after that they didnt came for second time verification. how i request for them for the same??

                                      Airtel has, as of yesterday, barred all calls from and to 96*****120 (Trivandrum number). When contacted, they say an address proof need to be submitted to the nearest showroom to get the calls unbarred. They refuse to escalate the issue and they refuse to raise a complaint. The SIM was purchased in 2008 and they are requesting for an address proof in 2013. It is fine if they want address proof, but they should request for it, which they did not and they do not have the rights to barr calls.I'm completely dissatisfied and feel cheated. I'm considering taking it up to the Consumer Court. Please advise me on how I should go about it.
