Airtel — Need to revert the transaction made by fraudulent people | |||
Dear Airtel, Today morning(21st Aug 2015: 11:46am) I received a call from mobile number [protected] and the lady on other side told me that she is calling on behalf of State Bank of India Mumbai head office and SBI has initiated a program where they are replacing the old cards with new chip based cards to offer extended security to our customers. I was very reluctant but their professionalism trapped me and I ended with loosing 4999.00 from my account. ..When i checked my SBI bank statement, i found the fraudulent transaction was made to pay AirTel bill for which transaction narration is showing as [POS PRCH POS[protected] AIRTEL PYMT-BILLDESK MUMBAI]. (screenshot attached). It would be a great help if you could please figure out this transaction and let me know the account for which this transaction happened AND if possible PLEASE revert the amount 4999.00 in to my account(the same account which was used to pay the bill). Please help and discourage the fraudulent people. I have filed a written complaint against this transaction to Pune Police. The Transaction message i received on my mobile phone is as follows :- Thank you for using your SBI debit card 45xxxxxx43 for a purchase worth Rs4999 on POS 22311003 at AIRTEL PYMT-BILLDESK MUMBAI IN txn#[protected].
