Incident Date - Jun 12, 2016

I have never felt such a bad experience with airtel. I did a recharge of Rs.276 (1 GB 3G for 28 days + Rs.100 talktime) to my mobile number through airtel app which got failed but amount got debited from my bank account. When I reached customer care, the executive told that the amount will be refunded but the recharge will not happen. Based on the discussion I had with the customer care executive, I recharged for the second time which was successful. In few mins, the first recharge too got successful. Atlast I had 2 GB 3G for 28 days and Rs.200 talktime. I am following up with customer care for this issue for last 10 days but I am not getting the refund of my amount instead they adjusted Rs.150 only to my mobile number which I don't want.

Kindly help me in getting my money back.

" Don't use the Airtel app. Earlier even I was using the Airtel app and had faced many problems.
Once I recharged my phone with Rs. 100 and the amount got debited from my account, but I did not receive the balance.
The next month I recharged my phone to get mobile data and the money got deducted. However, my mobile data balance was nil.
Such situations can be very frustrating. I have deleted this app and found a new app that works good and is available for free on Google Play Store. The transaction success rate of this app is really good. The moment the amount gets debited from your bank account you get a message that you have received the balance. I have recharged my number +[protected] twice today for Rs 598 and another one for Rs 379 incorrectly. Please help to organize the refund for excess recharge Or help me by extending the plan validity for another 3 months. Thank you.

    I just wanted to bring to the notice of everyone about such a pathetic and disastrous service from airtel...

    ********i have received a call from [protected] @3:21 pm on 13.06.2016 number asking
    Me to upgrade the package of my dsl / internet, i have declined the offer and
    The staff started questioning me and demanding to know the reason, and then i
    Said that i was not interested, he started raising his tone and arguing with me
    Which was not professional and he was not able to communicate properly with me
    And was behaving unprofessional and rude.

    I later asked for his supervisor, then he transferred the call after me
    Requesting multiple times, and the supervisor who took the call was one step
    Ahead than the previous staff in unprofessionalism, i asked him for his name
    And the name of the staff who called me, he denied and started asking me the
    Reason and was rude and unprofessional on the call. I tried explaining that the
    Staff was rude and i wanted to raise a complain and he did not even bother to
    Apologies and disconnected the call on my face. ****

    I have raised this concern with airtel authorities who are giving a deaf ear and a blind eye to this complaint of mine and just sent me an apology email...
    Airtel staff do not respond properly on phone neither on email... I want this to be known to everyone in an around of the pathetic service im getting...After being a customer of several years...
    A complaint was also registered with the reference number 69817098 and was closed without my knowledge and without intimating me...

    Hi, I got a call from +[protected] and when I picked, I head "Whoever on the call please pick up call", when I say hello, no response, but same statement, again I said Hello, same statement and call was cut.

    This happened for me more than three times. Not sure about what it is.

      Airtel has some policies by which it can easily cheat people and get money. They have concepts called booster data packs, which we can request for more internet data. And the customer people will renew the booster data packs in our bills in the subsequent months regardless we request more internet data for that month or not.

      I got cheated by this policy. I was not told that booster packs once requested will continue for the consecutive months also. Unnecessarily they have billed more than 500 for the same. Really, it is cheating and did not expect from the largest telecom provider.

        Y name is ajay kumar atwal and i would like to escalate the complaint against airtel. My broadband and fixed line mentioned above is not working from 10-june onward and i logged complaint on 13 june ref 68928384 which closed without any action and without my confirmation. Again i logged another complaint on 17 jun ref no 69089646, but again the result was same, complaint was closed without any resolution. Again on 21st i logged another complaint.

        Request you to please take some kind of action against these fake people who claim to be best network in advertisement and provides wrong information to customers. Till today, after 10+ no technician had come at my place to check and resolve the issue.

        Their customer care, everyday giving nonsense updates and closing the complaints without any confirmation.

          Hi,

          I reside in electronic city, Bangalore.
          From past one month 2g and 3g services are not working.
          I logged 4 complaints on this with Airtel.However, no resolution provided.
          Not only in Electronics city, the airtel network wont work in many areas of Bangalore(Wilson garden, vijjay nager, melleswaram, rajaji nagaer etc).
          Airtel is just a cheating company.I have no better words to talk about this service provider. All your advertisements are crap.

            My balance got deducted even if i didn't opt for any vas.
            On 20june2016 : rs 5 for fashion and glam mall
            On 21june2016 : rs 99 for hot chillies

            I never opted for either of these two value added services. Then why my balance got deducted.

            I tried to reach 121 but its all in kannada language which cannot understand at all.

            Please return back my balance which have been deducted fraudulently.

            More than 48 hours have been passed, since the fraudulent balance deduction happened, hitherto no action/refund has been taken.
            Could you please provide a solution to this and help me get the refund asap? Thanks.

            Could you please provide what action is being taken by Airtel representative till now.?
            Or I should assume that Airtel Customer care is for only namesake.

              Five day's were passed but complain no 69059444 for landline [protected] is not fixed . Still service engineer was not visited for rectification
              nor making any call to me. yesterday at 9:56 am received only a call from nodal
              team for detail, from contact no [protected] he told me to get resolve this
              problem today, but again it seem's like a false commitment. I am very upset
              with response of your level-1 and level-2 team.
              I am writing this and expecting favourable response from your side.

                  I am a kerala circle airtel gsm suscriber, i have recharged my mobile through online airtel recharge portal, it stated that i will get 1gb of 3g/4g data for 2 days,
                  i have done that recharge but the offer credited was 4g only, my handset does not support 4g so i am not able to use that data

                  i have contacted airtel cutomer care but they are saying offer is credited etc but still i am not getting the credited data in 3g mode

                  service request number is CBNRD[protected] airtel appellate kerala, i have got a response from airtel appellate kerala stating that my data has been credited, it has been credited as 4g only, and that is my complaint, i have seen 3g/ 4g but not able to use data in 3g. my phone does not support 4g, so what is the use of data then
                  I had faced an issue with rupees 98 data stv in my airtel gsm number 889XXXX270.
                  As a result i contacted customer care appellate etc
                  Finally i got a response that i will the amount used for stv credited into my main account.
                  I have done 98 recharge 3 times .so i have to get 98×3= 294 rupees.u got only 200 rupees credited and in my last mail received from airtel appellate it was written to contact appellate for remaining 94 rupees.

                  Please note

                  One thing i would like to mention is that this was not a problem on my part. In the airtel recharge portal it was clearly mentioned while doing rs 98 recharge i will get 1 gb 3g/4g data . But i got data as 4g only .which unfortunately i was not able to use because my phone does not support 4g.

                  After that for the past 3 days i had repeatedly contacted airtel customer care and appellate with complaint. Each time someone new will be responding i will have to explain him every thing next time someone other will be calling me and i have to again explain every thing .

                  One guy from customer care told me that you currently have another 3g pack thats why you are not getting this .ok i accepted i exhausted/depleted my 3g pack which had 520 mb left for 1 month i had a balance of 35. In this process 520MB 3g and 35 talk time . Good

                  After that since data usage was necessary for me i recharged again for 253, after that i got a call from appellate that your 98 data has been converted into 3g . What should i say .i recharged for 253 pack and you were saying you converted my 98 pack into 3g. Very susprised to hear that


                  I would like to say this is not my problem your recharge portal is showing 1gb 3g/4g for 98 recharge . But users in kerala will get only 4g.
                  I think i know better than your customer care authorites . Airtel does not have 3g spectrum in kerala they are using idea 3g as intra circle roaming so in kerala users wont get 3g . But still your recharge portal is showing 1gb 3g /4g for 98 stv

                  This was a error on your part and i have been contacting you for past 3 days.
                  3 days time i have lost + 520 mb 3g 1 mnth validity + 35 rupees. Still you are not refunding my 98 recharge amount. 98×3 = 294 rupees.(3 times i have done 98 recharge)

                  Actually i think you should provide me with 294 which i deserves in every aspect + 520 mb 3g and 35 rupees which i lost because of a wrong information by your customer care executive +any money you think which a esteemed customer deserves for his time spent ( 3 days for the error which is not in his part but the operators)

                  PLEASE DONT CALL ME AGAIN I AM REALLY TIRED WITH YOUR PATHETIC SERVICE . NOT AT ALL ACCEPTABLE. IF THE ERROR WAS ON MY PART I CAN UNDERSTAND BUT THE ERROR IS ON AIRTEL S PART AND YOU ARE STILL SAYING MANY REASONS TO PROVE YOU ARE RIGHT

                    Hi Akanksha/Airtel,

                    Its more than 15 days since i provided you the details requested. Still i didn't hear anything from you.

                    So can i assume that airtel is trying to cheat on me or airtel has a bunch of lazy people or airtel is very poor in customer care or airtel does not have the guts to face the customer incase they have made some mistakes or airtel does not have the potential to be fair to the customers.

                    You want the customer to reply withing one day but you dont respond for 15 day. Thats really a strange attitude you have on your customers.

                        I requested Airtel to shift my broadband connection as I was changing my residence on 3rd June, on 5th their technician came to connect the hardwares and assured that by 6th June connection will be restored. From 6th June to 20th June today we called up Airtel at least 7-8 times and Everytime they gave an excuse and bought time to give connection. And still I don't have any connection. What reason they are quoting is that a new DB box has to be installed. I don't understand, how can such a big company is not able to solve such a minor problem.
                        Airtel's service has downgraded tremendously with no professionalism whatsoever. There was no communication from their side regarding the problem and Everytime it was us calling them. I am so fed up of this situation and even tired of scolding the useless customer care executives who are big time liars giving false commitments.

                          From the last 4-5 days whenever i'm switching my data services to 3g my network status becomes NO SERVICE. And if i change the data services back to 2g then again it comes back with full network access. I prefer airtel cause of its speed but its very irritating if this type of problem occurs.
                          Even i've tried to change the sim. But the same thing happened with the sim in other phones too. And if i insert any other sim and activate 3g data services then it works perfectly. Please try to solve the issue ASAP. My number is [protected]

                              I registered a complain regarding air pollution and sound pollution at our residential area due to high power generator installed by my neighbor Mr. Jagpal Sing Dagar resident of Plot no. 72 Gyan Khand -2, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. I got the complain ID :- GDA4856, Mr. Ghanshyam Tiwari / JE visit the site on 12.05.2016 regarding the matter. I got the status of my complain on dated 20.05.2016, that the house owner committed to resolve the air as well as sound pollution problem with in 07 days.(copy attached) with effect from 20.05.2016.Sir the height of smoke outlet increased by 3-5 feet.But there is no effect in air as well as sound pollution whether sound level much increased from previous.Sir i am totally frustrated and my 03 year child suffer too much as he is already under treatment of respiratory diseases. The generator runs in day and night multiple of hours, Our problem is become so worst that we can't even sleep in night .I requested please consider my complain seriously.I shell be thankful to you for this.

                                Its been 3 months since I have taken connection for Airtel broadband. I have a 120Gb 8mbps connection in C-scheme Jaipur.
                                Since the start the speed is never as good as promised, baring a few rare instances the speed never reached 8mbps, that was also before or after office hours i.e before 11 AM or after 6PM.
                                i have registered complaints with the office a lot of times almost daily to no avail.
                                The customer care people promise you 24hrs and thats it.
                                The engineer, Mr. Sandeep has visited 4-5 times and haplessly takes some test sends screen shots to mail and goes away without resolving.
                                The In-charge Mr. Dharam singh when asked says we cannot do anything as its the other department which needs to do its work before we can do anything else.

                                I have been continuing to pay the bill on the goodwill of the company but now the speeds have gone from avg 4-5 MBPS to 1-2 Mbps even when the quota for high speed data is full.

                                Please advice how to proceed. I would like full refund including the money paid for previous months if airtel is unable to resolve and continue providing proper services soon.

                                  I logged in the airtel website and filled the forms for getting a new broadband connection and i was told my documents will be collected and the connection will be provided within 72 hours...

                                  But guess what its been 20 days and still no one has even bothered to collect the documents

                                  Account number is [protected]... I have called the customer care several times and even mail them - they say it will be resolved in 1 day but its been 20 days now and this is total carelessness on the company

                                  Kindly take action against these fraudsters who are making false promises

                                    I had ported my earlier tata docomo number into Airtel. On 17th of july, 2016 the docomo sim card went deactivated and consequently i had to insert Airtel Sim Card as advised by your one executive Shri Pratik Chaurasia, from whom i had taken the sim card and handed the relevant documents to him. Since then, there is no network on airtel sim card stating "No Service". i filed a complaint on 121 twice with reference numbers 69887104 dated 17.06.2016 and 69899994 dated 18.06.2016.
                                    till date, no action has been taken by the company executives in resolving the issue. I am without a phone for last 4 days and am incurring heavy business losses due to the same.

                                        My company is located in Uppal industrial area. In that almost 50 Airtel post paid & pre paid connections are using but there is signal problem. For every call signal jumped and disconnected the call and 2 to 3 mins signal has not come. Due to this we are facing communication problem. thats why my company people are deciding to change their network to another network. If you are solve this problem they are not change their network.

                                        I hope you will solve this issue ASAP. Otherwise you can lose your business.
