I ordered a kent ro filter from amazon india on 27 july 2018. Here is the product link:

The seller was aqua smart services.
Since then, all o[censored]s have been having health problems like indigestion, cough and cold, etc. We had upgraded to kent ro from an old aquaguard, which never gave us such problems. So it was quite surprising. But we never thought it was because of the water.
Last week the filter developed a leakage. I called the kent ro customer care. They sent a guy to fix it (Under warranty). The guy informed that the product is a fake, and showed to us some subtle differences between our filter and original product photos. He took photos of our filter, and said he will escalate this within kent, and kent won't be able to provide us warranty or service on the fake product.
I called up amazon, and they said they will investigate the case, take back the product and give me a refund if it's found to be fake.
But how will a refund make up for all the health issues and life hazard caused by this incident?
Amazon India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I don't use amazon and don't remember using this card for that type of purchase
