Andhra Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer,
We would like to inform you that the account holder has to set the PIN for his personalised card and the procedure is as follows:-
GREEN PIN - Now set your own DEBIT CARD PIN in any of our ANDHRA BANK ATM
An option to generate or reset the Debit Card PIN through Andhra Bank ATM will enable the customers to select the PIN of their choice.
Andhra bank customer visits any of the Andhra Bank ATM.
Customer inserts the Debit Card in the Andhra Bank ATM.
ATM displays the “Banking”, “Services” and “New PIN” Option.
Customer selects the “New PIN” option.
ATM displays below options.
OTP Generation OTP Validation
Note:
1. Customer should be registered for SMS Alerts to receive OTP (One Time Password) on his mobile.
2. New PIN can be set for Active/Inactive debit cards but transactions will happen only for active debit cards.
Flow of OTP Generation:
Once customer selects the “OTP Generation” option, transaction will get initiated.
ATM sends the OTP Generation request message to ATM Switch.
Once all validations are successful 6 Digit OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the customer.
Once the transaction is successful ATM displays “Please select OTP Validation option to set your PIN. OTP will be valid for only 30 minutes” and “OTP Sent to Registered Mobile – It will be valid for only 30 minutes. Please select OTP Validation & Set you PIN” message will be printed on the receipt.
Flow of OTP Validation:
Once Customer selects the “OTP Validation” option, Customer is prompted to enter the OTP which is received on registered mobile.
Customer enters the OTP and selects “Correct” option, transaction will get initiated.
Customer has to re-enter the same OTP and selects “Correct” option.
Once the OTP validation is successful
o ATM prompts the customer to enter the four digit new pin.
o ATM then prompts the customer to re-enter the 4 digit new pin.
ATM displays on the screen “Your new PIN was set successfully” and the same will be printed on the receipt.
