Date of Incident: 10th June, 2019.

Vitara Brezza ZDI +. Tyre Apollo Alnac 4Gs. 215/60/R/16.
2.5 Years old Vehicle with 30, 000 Kms.

A small stone was inserted in Tyre and due to this there was a Cut of more than 1.5 Inches. This must be a Manufacturing defect.

Apollo has refused to accept this as a manufacturing defect.

I have purchased Maruti baleeno alpha on 24 sep 2017 from ms Sandhu auto mobile Nexa showroom Sher Pur chowk Ludhiana and complete 5000 km in 20 months. On 08 June while I along with my family are traveling to Chandigarh front tyre of driver side cut down and Veh struck with devider thank god no damage had done. But only minor injury and a loss of time is there.

I request the Apollo company to do the need full and replace the tyre as soon as possible.

I am complaining to krish motors wazirpur from about 2 months of a buldge in all tyres in my car ciaz which I had purchased in november 2017. I noticed a buldge first in my front tyre and got it replaced because there was a cut in it but after that I noticed buldge in others too with no impact noticed.
They have rejected my complaint and I have read 2 years warranty on apollo tyres website.
I want to get a replacement of all the defected tyres immediately.

What kind of services do u provide, u said to call back within 24 hrs, now its 10days, are u such busy people that 10 days a customer has to wait for his problem to be jst heared of, also keep a proper technical person who hears us and recieves the calls, else stop ur tyre works

I have maruti brezza zi+ with apollo tyre. Tyre got burst on 08/4/19 Tyre burst while i was on outer ring road and i had raise complaint no QEDJLZ28 On same day there was no representative present there so tyre was removed from the rim and their is no visible impact seen of any kind from inside and out. Only when tyre is pressurized the affected area is bulging out, which clearly shows poor quality control of apollo tyres.

and i didnt recieved any respond for your comany or service side i wait for 21 days after 22 days on 29-04-19 i got a call that has been examined and has no workmanship or material related issues) maybe your representative visited there for inspection of bulging tyre afterwards. Due to poor quality control and poor response to customer. Just out rightly refused to even entertain the replacement of the tyre. Which shows poor professionalism in response to customer complaint., i have not accepted the decision of your representative as the tyre does not show any kind of mishandling and damage. Kindly look into the matter on urgent basis and replace the poor quality controlled tyre.

My father went to the mittal tyre co. Agra for the inspection of the tyre (Maruti suzuki vitara brezza (Up80-em-8056) after receiving a claim letter from prem motors agra on 06/04/2019. On that day there was no representative present there so tyre was removed from the rim and their is no visible impact seen of any kind from inside and out. Only when tyre is pressurized the affected area is bulging out, which clearly shows poor quality control of apollo tyres. Today i got one message that (Dear costumer, your tyre received via recpt no. [protected] has been examined and has no workmanship or material related issues) maybe your representative visited there for inspection of bulging tyre afterwards. Due to poor quality control and poor response to customer. Mittal tyres co. Just out rightly refused to even entertain the replacement of the tyre. I recently bought a new tata tiago which came with apollo amazer tyres, on the second day (Within 50kms), the car's front right tyre went flat (There was no external piercing via nail or something), to my surprise i found that tyre had a rupture from inside. Seriously hating the fact that apollo comes with such poor quality tyres. And nobody from apollo address my issue inspite multiple calls and complaint regristration, i hope the issue will be addressed and the tyre will be replaced soon. I'm driving my brand new car with a stepheny tyre : (. I hope apollo address this issue asap.

I have purchase maruti dzire vdi on 17/08/18 with apollo tyre. Tyre got burst on 22/3/19 with in 7 months and only 18000 km. Tyre burst while i was on highway and car become out of control. Had accident with road divider, car rollover and loss of time and money. Luckily, i got only few minor injury but reason for complain is who is responsible and can we expect some reliability from tyre & car companies.

I had lodged complaint on apollo tyres toll free 10 days back... Still the company has not aligned any one for attend the call..

Is it careless attitude of the company?

Is not apollo putting the life of passenger under risk?

I had talked 3 time on toll-free, 2 time write mail to company and 2 time call on his gurgaon land line phone but no one attend the complaints.

I was very surprised to know the casual and scary way a reputed company like apollo tyres handles

I am telling you because just i bought a car which is Grand i 10 magna on 28 jan 2019 and just run only 1400 km but your tyre is very low profile and very bad quality ..i have complained your customer care for tyre manufacturing defect ..and once i have complained after 7 days your representatives call me and give me address of authorised dealer and his name is Ahuja tyres which is in dwarka more and his services is very bad ..i have lot of issue but big issue about your low quality tyre .

I bought a brezza car with apollo tyres before 1 years ago. My car is very less driven in this 1 year, just 9500 kms drive and there was a bubble in front tyre. Now when i request for replace they rejected. Never faced this problem with mrf tyres.

I have bought tata tiago on dec20, 2018 from concorde motors hyderabad. I got apollo tyres for my car. Recently i noticed that, front tyre got bulge and approached apollo tyre through my dealer concorde motor. My warranty claim got rejected and saying its not manufacturing defect. There is no possibility for replacement.
I really dont understand the reason why it wont come under warranty. I have checked with another manufacturer and they agreed its manufacturing defect and you get tyre replacement. I have driven just 2000 km now and got a problem like this. The car went on pothole at speed of 40-50km/hr & tyre got cut. This tyre warranty also rejected with same reason. Apollo is aware of indian road conditions and the apollo tyres not even able to sustain for 40-50km/per hour on small pothole. It was very disappointing for me that such a branded company tyre got bulge within 2 months and very less running also it gives a very negative impact. I request you to please look into the matter and do the needful to replace the tyres.

I am writing to you regarding the bulging of the tyres of my car (Nexa ciaz) delivered on 20th december 2017 at pathankot. Within one month one tyre bulged out and was replaced by your customer representative at gurdaspur. 2 days back another tyre bulged out and this shows poor quality control of the tyres. Please look into the matter and get the tyre replaced at the earliest.

I was thinking that apollo is great tyre company, but now i realized mrf, good year, michelin, continental... All are far better in quality and with better support.

Since last two weeks, still you not contact me. Worst support and product.

History as below...
Apollo alnac 4gs (215/60 16r) a set of 5 tyres comes as original tyres in my brezza.
1. I have got done first wheel alignment and tyre rotation as per procedure at 14, 000km.in the process, a stepney tyre is changed with the one of the used tyre from the veicle.
2. Some where in september 2018, durig filing air i observed there was a bulge in the sidewall of the stepney tyre
3. The same was brought to the notice of the maruti dealer during service on 7th october at sai service ltd borivali east
4. The service engineer takes a photo (Using his mobile) of the tyre and assures we shall revert in 4 to 5days.
5. Even after repeated calls and a visit to sai service borivali on 5th december i get to know the claim on tyre is rejected by apollo tyres, i receive a note copy signed by mr vignesh ganesh, business consultant andheri west mumbai.
6. Apollo as reputed company how can it reject a claim even without physically inspecting the tyre?
7. How a tyre at 14, 000km usage can develop side wall bulges?
8. Are we no risking our lives?
9. How is that an suv tyre is poor in quality?
10. Why cant the company check the tyre physically and understand what is wrong with the quality?
11. What about warranty you provide on suv tyres? Does those statements are all brave messages that ends in tv advertisement only???

I am not interested in a free tyre from you, but i am really worried about my life while using apollo tyres.
I always prefer mnc brands because my life is precious to me.

I own maruti baleno, which i purchased last year on nov28 -2017. Distance driven is 10000kms. Recently, i have noticed side wall bulges/bubble on both the tyres at driver side (Both front & rear tyres). It happened when i had covered 750 km distance stretch small long trip, covered almost entirely national highway roads. And i can assure that i have driven my car in safe speed very cautiously. There is no scope of being having a high impact during this trip as my whole trip covered national highways roads. Sooner i realised this issue, notified it to apollo service engineer via warranty dept from locally authorised service workshop. Service engineer came to the service centre and made a detail examination. He told the side bulge issue might be caused due to the high impact of tyres with sharp potholes and it does not fall under manufacturer defect. So the claim will not be accepted.
In his report, he mentioned that the tyres tread depleted only 18%. So almost ~82% of tyres tread is still usable. Indeed, my both tyres condition is very decent.
1q) my foremost question to apollo is only 18 % depleted tyre tread is very prone to have such kind of impact bulges what if the tyre's tread depleted more than 40- 50%?
That means tyres would have been burst on such impacts and would have been a life threat to car riders. It is evident that we, consumers are risking our lives by relying on these apollo tyre manufacturer. Apollo should be answerable for these key safety issues.

Either the tyres that were provided originally in my car is having a manufacturing defect or apollo is not following quality standards in the tyre manufacturing. Also, if apollo finds the main issue is due to indian road standards, then apollo should have been opposed or recommended maruti nexa baleno manufacturer not to use this kind of tyres 195/55 r16 in baleno vehicles.

I request you to please look into the matter and do the needful to replace the tyres.
