July 12 : Ordered a MacBook M1 Air. Mistakenly put wrong phone number.

July 14: Was the delivery date. The delivery boy failed to contact me despite I had contacted Apple on July 13 and upon their request contacted Bluedart and changed my number

July 14: I was informed by a friend that the model I had ordered is an older model from 2020 and would become out of support in a year or so. I contacted Apple support and they confirmed the same. So, I asked that support guy to cancel that order since it's not delivered yet and refund my money and I would buy the latest model.

July 20: It took them this long to update on the status to return and not deliver. On July 20 I got update on email that my product will be returned and also same on Bluedart tracking site and Apple order status page. I talked to support agents and they told me to wait till July 27.

August 3: July 27 came and went and I contacted Apple as the product didn't move at all. They again fed me some cock and bull story about some bug or glitch. Apologized in every possible sentence possible in the English language but that's all they did. August 3 was the next maximum time for me to wait but still there's no update on the product's return.

So, we Indians adding Govt. tax over Apple tax already pay Apple a lot for their already overpriced products only to receive such pathetic service. I would not recommend to anyone to go for Apple. Stay away from them. I just want my money back dunno when will I get it.

Yes forgot that I posted a complaint here.
Yes I got my money back. They took till August 5 or 6 I think to finally admit and say something akin to this - this issue has been going on for too long and we don't want our customers to suffer on our behalf. Sorry for inconvenience etc. and hence we're issuing your refund. That's the support agent said. Then within 12 hours got an email from Apple refund issued. Then it took 24 hours for the money to appear on my account.
I still checked Bluedart page out of curiosity. Apparently, the page mentions Apple got its product back by August 15

    Hi,
    I am writing to inform you about the faulty mobile phone that I have purchased in your store.
    I am a regular customer of IPHONE since last 10 years but this time I came across very worst product Iphone model. I bought a new IPHONE 14Pro on JAN_23 however, with little rain drizzling phone got damage with liquid inside. I was clicking photos in low drizzling for 2-3mins only and surprisingly after few minutes I notice back camera and front camera with moisture/foggy.
    I visited store and come to know that liquid detected inside phone.
    I am pretty sure iphone have different commitment against product but this time I am very disappointment with product I came across.
    I have few questions:
    • Like to know how you test product quality?
    • How you diagnose water level as 14 pro have different commitment against water level (Hope this is not 2mins in low rain)
    I have raised case with apple support (Apple case[protected]: case closed mentioning water inside.
    My concern is, how phone damage in low drizzling (2-3 mins).

      My phone just hanged and all my information is lost. Not to mention no Iphone. Had to go for an android to save on the lost fraud cost of Iphone. very bad experience. and please note i have followed up multiple times and also messaged Tim on his social handles but shameless that Apple is i have till date not got even one response. BAD BAD BAD EXPERIENCE

        It has been more than a year now and till date i have not got any response with a solution from any representative of Apple. infact i have also written multiple number of times to the CEO Tim, but in vain and lots of pain. below is my mail sent to Tim over the last 20 months. Hi Tim,
        I unfortunately was left with no choice but to write a mail and escalate the issue on the apple product I have. I have been an apple customer since the time I could afford the brand and believe me I have always been a brand ambassador spreading only the best for the brand, however I have been lately extremely disappointed with the apple product and the India service centre. The people who are the face of the brand in India are ruining the experience.

        Request you to have my concern addressed with a solution and not a robotic revert that I have been receiving since 15 days.

          This is a known issue in Apple Mac book pro, the keys don’t work. I have been trying to find a solution for this for almost 5 years now. Apple earlier used to tell me that my keyboard works fine and I have tried visiting their service station 3 times right after I bought it. Recently i found out that there is a known issue in Apple keyboard but Apple only provides solution for this known issue for 2 years. So Apple admits that it was there fault but is not willing to do anything about it as earlier they didn’t know about this fault and now “I am too late”

            I am writing to report a serious issue with my iPhone 14, which is currently under warranty. A couple of days ago, I noticed that the phone was getting excessively hot and the battery was draining very quickly. Despite my efforts to troubleshoot the issue, the problem persisted and worsened over time.

            ON 27 JUN'23 morning, to my horror, I found that my iPhone had swollen up and was about to burst. I was shocked and concerned for my safety and the safety of those around me. I immediately contacted your service centre nearby my location

            This is my first apple product, I am very saddened and disappointed with the quality of the new iPhone 14. It is unacceptable that a phone just 6 months old and under warranty would malfunction in such a dangerous way. I demand a full refund for the phone.

            Due to safety concern i am not willing to use any apple product but apple is not refunding the amount instead forcing me to use the same repaired phone.

            i have numeriuos verbal communication with them, they are not at all concerned about the safety of their customer.

              I have purchased Apple I phone 13 pro 25th October 2022 and started using the phone on November 7th 2022.After 7, 8 months o[censored]sage the charging port got some issue and the i phone was not getting charged. I have given my phone to the authorized service centre and they have sent the phone to Bangalore Service centre. Now the service people are saying some internal damage has happened and they cannot cover the repair under warranty even though it is still under warranty and i have to pay 40k to get it repaired. I called up Apple Customer Care to escalate the issue and they are suggesting that it can be caused by wrongly plugging in the charger and how do we know whether it is wrong or right. I have not received any help from the customer care and had a complete bad experience from the Apple Customer Care. Kindly suggest me an option to get my phone repaired under warranty.

                I am Vikram Shah from Bangalore, i am working at Markelytics Solutions India Pvt Ltd. I wanted to renew apple developer program account using company bank card, but due to changes in payment system which was done by RBI i could not make the payment.

                I called apple tech team regarding the renewal of the account and they said payment need to be made through net banking or UPI. As per apple tech team executive suggestion i have added the fund in iTunes account and later they said i can renew my developer account from the iTunes.

                I have added funds of INR 9000 in iTunes account 12 days back and still i am unable to renew my developer account.

                I have contacted their tech team regarding the issue and they made me to play sea saw game. First they said i need to contact iTunes tech team. When i contacted iTunes team they said i need to contact developer tech team. This type of game is being played by the apple people.

                  I tried enrolling for the apple developer program, but was unable to get through it, and ultimately contact apple developer support and this guys keet trying multiple times and got my account restriced. Now i am stuck with Rs.9000 stuck in my appple ID and there is not way to even get the refund, This is such a big fraud. For all the fault committed by your team why will the customer suffer with account restricited and funds on hold.
                  Useless apple tech team, i have added funds in my iTunes account as suggested by apple tech team to renew my developer account and now the account is not getting renewed and none of the useless apple tech team is helping on this.

                    I am writing to raise a consumer complaint against Apple India regarding my iPhone13, which suffered water damage despite its IP68 water and dust resistance rating. I am deeply dissatisfied with Apple's product durability, particularly considering the higher price point compared to other brands, and seek a resolution to this issue as per my consumer rights.

                    On May 25, my iPhone13 accidentally fell into water. However, I promptly retrieved it within 2 minutes and took necessary steps to dry it. Considering the device's IP68 rating, which is advertised as providing protection against water damage, I expected the phone to remain unaffected.

                    To my disappointment, the device became unresponsive after 3days of the incident. I immediately contacted Apple India's customer support to seek assistance. However, I was informed that the warranty does not cover liquid damage, and therefore, I would have to bear the repair costs.

                    This response has left me dissatisfied as I strongly believe that the water damage occurred despite following the IP68 guidelines and handling the situation appropriately. I seek clarification from Apple India regarding the efficacy of the IP68 rating and how the water managed to penetrate the device, leading to its malfunction.

                    Furthermore, I am disheartened by the stark contrast between the premium price Apple charges for its devices compared to other brands in the market. The higher cost implies superior quality, including robust water resistance. However, the handling of my complaint has not only left me with a damaged device but also raised concerns about the overall durability and reliability of Apple products.

                      Apple sells the iPhone 13 and shows in the add how “Water-resistant” their phone is, which can handle being underwater for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 6 meters.

                      My iPhone 13 was working completely fine until the iOS 16.5 beta 4 installation happened on my phone. And the phone started acting up. It’s stuck in the boot loop from May 12th, 2023.

                      When I went to Apple Authorized Service Provider - NGRT Systems, Civil Lines, Nagpur; to solve the issue. they asked me first if the phone was exposed to water in any way. I told them yes it did and they told me - “Sorry sir, it’s water damage and hence it can’t be resolved/replaced. You need to buy a new device”

                      However, my phone was dipped in the pool for not even 2 seconds in the month of Jan 2023. And they tell me that the phone has gradually taken the damage.

                      The phone is under warranty and they say that the water damage is not covered under warranty.
                      So why sell the product and fool the consumers by saying it's IP68?
                      Please take the necessary action on the same.

                        Once i signed in my apple id, I can't see the picture of DP.. whereas on my other phone its showing and works well... please resolve my isue as soon as possible...

                        please get some experienced team members in the service store as they don't know what is the real issue and if its software issue den also its a issue of software only on my iPhone, they can't say its normal issue if they can't resolve my problem on my iPhone, we pay in lakhs just for apple brand, if apple is careless about our small issue then there is no Satisfaction in paying in lakhs...
                        Once you come to know that its software issue, you have to resolve our problem and if apple service can't resolve my problem then its not worth apple service in the city...

                          I bought an iPhone 14 plus from iplanet Jayanagar on Valentine’s Day. I asked for a GST invoice and received the same. The GST invoice has not been uploaded on GST portal for me to claim ITC. I sent an email to iplanet store, sent a WhatsApp as stated in the invoice. The email comes back stating trying to deliver for 4 days, the store states write to customer care. WhatsApp has no response. How do you contact them? Does iplanet pay gst

                              I am not happy with the response and the claim maid by Apple service.
                              I have the "Restart issue" on the Iphone 14 from the 1st week of the purchase. As per the suggestion of the service center "Planetcare" I have visited the shop two times 1; for the software re-installation done by planetcare. Within two weeks the same problem "Auto Re-start" persisted
                              2; Again I visited the shop on 15th Feb 2023 and handed over the phone as per the advice of service agent, where I was promised that the phone will be sent to Apple, Bengaluru center and the hardware will be replaced as the problem of "Auto Re-start" persisted.

                              To my surprise, I have received the phone call and this email with a service quote of 40K. Please note that the phone is in Warranty period and I am extremely disappointed for such a treatment by Apple India. The claim by Apple that the device is found to have "Accidental damage" is unacceptable and the issue of "Auto Re-start" started within 15 days of purchase of a brand new device. For you information, when the devise was submitted to service center it was checked and confirmed that there is no external damage (Not even a scratch). It is impossible to have an internal damage in this case.

                              1. I deserve to know the exact problem with a device with a proper explanation of the so called "accidental damage". Please let me know the specific details.

                              2. I suspect that the distributer "AptronixIndia" sold me a defective device. I purchased the device from the Chennai ECR shop. The purchase experience was bad, the 1st phone I bought had a small scratch on the screen when opened at the shop. But the same was replaced by the shop. However, the replaced device is also faulty.

                              There are tons of information in the web about Iphone 14 restart issue and Apple seems to be replacing/fixing the problem globally. However, such a treatment in India by a brand like Apple is disappointing. I have been a long time user of Apple devices (starting from Ipod) and never had any problem with the devices.
                              I hope Apple would hear me out and address my concern

                                I have purchased Mac book air M2 model WQ53QJ99L6 along with apple care plus on 10/09/2022.While using the device, I have noticed display flickering issue in the device.Even though running behind service centers for repair of the same issue multiple times from october 2022, the issue remain unresolved until now.I have demanded replacement of the device which was not fulfilled.Now the device is still in the service center for the same issue.In this period of approximately 6 months (5month 25 days till today), I have lost my precious time, energy and peace of mind in getting the issue resolved and my work life getting imbalanced due to a faulty device sold to me.

                                      I would like to draw your attention to the serious issues regarding disrespectful behavior, and lack of professionalism of Apple employees at Angel Teletech Pvt Ltd, Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan.

                                      This incident happened on 5/1/2023 during my visit along with my wife to the Apple Store in Angel Teletech Pvt Ltd, Sri Ganganagar. Email – [protected]@gmail.com

                                      The gist of the complaint is like this- I purchased a new I -phone 14 plus on 15/12/2022 along with screen protector (GRIP Item 0.3M IPH-14 Max (6.7)CL HSN code 70071900 for Rs 1990

                                      This screen protector was pasted /applied on phone by the employee working in store (as per store employee, may be incorrect). After 7-8 days of pasting screen protector, bubble developed on the left side upper portion of screen making it odd look and vulnerable to damage.

                                      On being shown new i-Phone 14 protective screen bubble popping issue to the Apple Company Store, they refused to comply with our demands, were rude, and ignored the issue and even not paying any request either to change it or approach main headquarter or office for the same.

                                      As a former paramilitary officer, Ex-Commandant, para military, I have never witnessed such reactions that fall outside the standard of professionalism and employee code of conduct as the universal code of conduct describes the right behavior of employees towards customers in the workplace and similarly, it was expected from them to have guidance of main office, once they themselves have no solution.

                                      I am the regular customer of your items and last year only in the month of Jan’22, I have purchased I-pad costing almost around 96, 000/- and earlier i-7 and have intended to purchase further other items but after looking into unprofessional behavior and solution, I am now regretting to have customer of your company.

                                      Question is hardly of Rs 2000/- but the way such professional company have such unprofessional employee, who even does not know pasting of screen protector and how to behave definitely, brings a bad name to the company. Atleast, I have decided not to ever have any items from this store or from your company in future.

                                      I am putting this matter under your perusal, and requested to either change that screen protector free of cost along with expectation of respectful behavior and in case if your high reputed company will not pay any heed to my request then consider this request as legal notice for approaching consumer court at Sri Ganganagar for causing mental and economically harassment.

                                      That this letter intended to service as a formal legal Notice and in that regard I urge you to take our complaint seriously. Non adherence to our grievances will be dealt in consumer
