Apple claims airpods pro as water and sweat resistant in their product description and comes with a 1 year manufacturing warranty. I bought this product on Oct 23 2022 on Amazon. While I have used it for regular calls, I have also been using it for last 2 months while running. My right airpods wasn't charging regularly (needs quite a bit of alignment for it to charge) and hence gave the airpods and case to Apple service centre. They havent been able to repair and after 20 days, have denied warranty coverage with their technical team claiming 'liquid damage'! How is this fair if the product is supposed to be water and sweat resistant? They have also not given me access to their recordings or transcripts of their calls when they informed me of this. What is the recourse here? Unfortunately i dont have a large twitter following to make my voice heard. And i dont use other social media.

Added details on interactions
1) Had to spend hours on multiple visits to Aptronix, MG Road, Bangalore 560001
2) Received a product service summary that can be as vague as possible. Saying that they found another issue that wasn't mentioned in the repair request - only they know what is that!! Repair id G[protected]
3) Spent time interacting with their customer care. Case id[protected]. Once with John Nixcel and next with Puneeth. It was escalated to 'senior tech supervisor' - Once with xx (didnt catch name) and twice with Mallika. Last call was with Mallika saying that warranty is denied as product came in contact with water!!
4) Despite requests, I am not getting recordings or transcripts of the 3 verbal interactions (for my proof on their final stand). I only have transcripts of online chats which ends with them escalating to technical person who will call!!

    Airpods pro product claim vs warranty

    This is to bring to your notice that the Apple App Store has an option to 'send gift-card via emiail'. I wanted to send a giftcard of Rs. 750 to my friend and seamlessly made the payment via the steps shown on the appstore. For my surprise the amount got credited to my Apple ID credit and not a gift card, the same issue was notified to the customer support and they informed me, that gift cards cannot be generatedl anymore.
    Why still have the option then? No intimation or notification for the same on the App Store aswell.

    I rightfully demanded a refund of the same amount by explaining the whole situation to apple support by wasting 3 hours of my time still was denied the refund.
    This is heights of disappointment. I demand the Rs. 750 present in my Apple ID to be transferred back to my Bank Account as it is not solving my initial purpose nor being used for the purpose it was supposed to serve.

      I purchased a Series 7 Apple Watch on 15th oct 2021 via Credit Card and was supposed to receive a cashback of Rs 3000/-. I havent received the cash back yet not any information regarding the same. Kindly inform what is the status of the cashback and when can i expect it to credit in my account. I made a payment with HDFC Credit Card. The Scheme was to receive Rs Flat 3000/- cashback on payment via HDFC credit card or EMI options. Kindly check and resolve the issue.

        Hi,

        I bought iPad, recently discovered that it is bent and also has some issues lie
        1. Diminished Screen sensitivity to touch at bend area near
        2. Quick drainage of battery
        3. outer case is bent.

        I visited the Apple customer support in Rohini, they are saying it is some hardware issue. Although the device is under warranty and hardware coverage is there, Apple is denying and asking for paid repairs only.

        Need an immediate action here, as my warranty is expairing on 9/6/22.

          First of all I am an first time user of Apple Phone. Bought Iphone13 for 75000 rupees on 2nd May 2022 and from the very next day I started using the Iphone13 but was unable to install any applications. So I started complaining to customer care from then( means 2nd May 2022 to till date(24th May 2022), literally I had wasted 23 days of time to resolution for this issue and there was no proper response, explaining every day about my issue and no resolution yet. Its a completely waste of time .I need my money back and take your IPhone13 back that's it. I am fed up with all the calls and wasting my time daily.

            2. I had submitted my phone on 11 May 2022 which is under warranty with some problems in the phone as mentioned in the above ref id.

            3. Planet care Indiranagar told that it is due to corrosion whereas my phone had never fallen in water nor even exposed to water / rain.

            I brought Apple iPhone 13 from Apple store in DB Mall, Bhopal and paid the full amount via ICICI debit card, but it’s been more than 120 days and I still haven’t got the promised Rs 7000 cash back in my ICICI account

              I have given my phone at future world ( apple authorised service center ) after 15 days I didn't receive my phone and issue can't fix they just wasted my time and money, they have charged me 16800 more still unable to give services to the customer, I have been follow up daily. With them however there no resolution such a pathetic services my a big brand apple

                Apple subscription I bought was cancelled and refund status on App Store is showing (refunded) as of 10th May.
                I paid through my Icici debit card and even though it says it will be refunded within 5 days, I still haven’t rec the refund in my account . Plz get this solved

                      I residence of shalimar garden extn 2 near Pannu chowk sahibabad dist ghaziabad, There are more than 10-15 Stray Dogs are there many of them bark at all times when someone passes beside them they also get to bite several times.                         Hi consumer forum,

                        I sent my phone twice a time to apple care at Bangalore from delhi and both of time they had upgraded firmware which i already did before submit it to them.

                        They done same upgradation by his side on both of visits and done no repairs and kept saying the battery issue resolved post doing firmware upgradation. issue still remains the same and nothing improvement in battery. I am feeling helpless as neither apple customer support helping me out nor their Bangalore apple team. I am exhausted chasing them every single day and no resolution. i want to open a consumer forum against them and resolve my issue and replace my battery and if they can't do so then refund my money and take that phone back to them.

                          I purchased iphone 12 on 8th December 2021 with my HDFC debit card on EMI. Cashback of INR 5000 was supposed to be credited in my account after deduction of 3rd EMI, today on 5th April 2022 4th EMI was deducted but no cashback is received till now. I have printed slip on which the cashback details were mentioned as a written proof. Please help

                              The case Id specified is apple case Id registered with apple support. The process of handling the complaint is very bad. The service center denied the warranty citing some superficial scratch on my Airpods and request me to raise a request with apple support for further. Apple support took my complaint and was only reflecting the words of service center and they have no process to address the grievance of the consumer. The support team is only for software as informed by their advisor and they dragged me for 6 days and had the same saying of the service without even looked by another authority. The support team has no process to look into service center view and have customer grievance addressed.if the support team is only for software I don’t understand why they asked me to upload the photo of my product. There was no review done by their team for my complaint they acted as pure mediator between service center and me. They are not ready to provide the resolution in email citing policy. The email sent also doesn’t specify that the case is closed but the actual meaning is closed from their end. This service level expected from such a company is very poor.

                                I have given my Iphone 11 to Planet Care, Indrangar for service on[protected]. Its warranty's last day was[protected] . It had only Wifi/Bluetooth/Silent Button issues. But after 3-4 days when I called apple customer care, they told it had software issues and we can collect next day. But on 23rd when I went to Planet Care, they told Apple has rejected the service saying phone has been tempered. But actually this is the first time phone has been opened by Apple(or anybody) as it is already in warranty. When they switched on the device, It is showing battery is not a genuine product. But when I had submitted the device, Battery was original. Somebody from Planet Care or Apple has frauded me. It is very disappointing that how Apple is treating a loyal customer. Till Today they are not replying me anything and its not resolved. Please escalate this case and I want my phone replaced since the actual wifi issue is not resolved yet, also Apple service have installed a third party battery which is illegal and its a hardware issue .

                                    Having a terrible experience with Apple customer support. My 4-month-old MacBook Pro 14 Inch (M1 chip) broke down 2 times in the past 2 months because of logic board failures. The first time, I took it to the service center and they replaced the logic board in 10 days. I had to call multiple times to follow up with them. It was a terrible experience.

                                    This time, I called customer support and asked for a replacement device. The support advisor scheduled a call for today to discuss the same. But to my surprise, I did not get a call. Meanwhile, as I am an Apple Care+ customer I am supposed to get onsite service but now the service center says that logicboard is not available and do not know how much time it will take. So, In a nutshell, I have no laptop and no ETA on the resolution.

                                    I again make a call to Apple support hoping to get a quicker solution but to my surprise, the senior support team told me that a refund/replacement is not at all possible for Mac devices and I was provided with the false information in the earlier call. He also informed me that I can not escalate it further as his team is the last point of an escalation.

                                    My simple questions are:

                                    1. Is it ok for a premium device like MacBook Pro to break down 2 times in 2 months?
                                    2. What is the use of having the Apple Care+ and paid premium for a device when you can not get a speedy resolution?
                                    3. Can the customer support team be the last point of escalation?
                                    4. What happens to my work while Apple is taking all the time in the world to fix the laptop?
                                    I am in the same boat. My Macbook Pro 16" 2019 did not power up all of a sudden during the peak of COVID May 2020 and it has been a dead weight since then. HP Windows which was bought on 2014 is still going on. Now gave the Mac to Ample, Chennai and is still sitting at the service center for 2 months saying they are awaiting a part. It is under Apple Care+ and there are 6 more months left. I have also asked for a replacement laptop of the same model or a new equivalent model and it is only expected of them to outrightly reject refund/replacement. But I believe we should persist and insist that full refund or replacement are the only available acceptable solutions. Part arrival estimation has been revised 4 times and everytime it just gets postponed to a new date just like that without any assurance.
