Having a terrible experience with Apple customer support. My 4-month-old MacBook Pro 14 Inch (M1 chip) broke down 2 times in the past 2 months because of logic board failures. The first time, I took it to the service center and they replaced the logic board in 10 days. I had to call multiple times to follow up with them. It was a terrible experience.

This time, I called customer support and asked for a replacement device. The support advisor scheduled a call for today to discuss the same. But to my surprise, I did not get a call. Meanwhile, as I am an Apple Care+ customer I am supposed to get onsite service but now the service center says that logicboard is not available and do not know how much time it will take. So, In a nutshell, I have no laptop and no ETA on the resolution.

I again make a call to Apple support hoping to get a quicker solution but to my surprise, the senior support team told me that a refund/replacement is not at all possible for Mac devices and I was provided with the false information in the earlier call. He also informed me that I can not escalate it further as his team is the last point of an escalation.

My simple questions are:

1. Is it ok for a premium device like MacBook Pro to break down 2 times in 2 months?
2. What is the use of having the Apple Care+ and paid premium for a device when you can not get a speedy resolution?
3. Can the customer support team be the last point of escalation?
4. What happens to my work while Apple is taking all the time in the world to fix the laptop?
I am in the same boat. My Macbook Pro 16" 2019 did not power up all of a sudden during the peak of COVID May 2020 and it has been a dead weight since then. HP Windows which was bought on 2014 is still going on. Now gave the Mac to Ample, Chennai and is still sitting at the service center for 2 months saying they are awaiting a part. It is under Apple Care+ and there are 6 more months left. I have also asked for a replacement laptop of the same model or a new equivalent model and it is only expected of them to outrightly reject refund/replacement. But I believe we should persist and insist that full refund or replacement are the only available acceptable solutions. Part arrival estimation has been revised 4 times and everytime it just gets postponed to a new date just like that without any assurance.

    Actually my mac book pro back lights are not working so i went to one of apple service center they denied to do service due to small damage in pannel bcoz they have to do this service in free of cost.and problem is with Strips only i said change the strips i will pay and they are saying we wont change the strips we will change whole display and panel it will cost 50k.

    All there are saying for money.. my mac book bro is in certain eligibility Program still they are denied my service

      I want to submitt my problem that i got some speaker issue in my phone so i went the above service centre and told them my problem they told me submitt your phone here we will call you after 3-4days they register my case id and make job sheet and give it to me and send me back... After 1day they r calling Me and said that your phone is ready please take it back we have repaired your phone i got very much happy that they solved my problem withing a day so i went there they told me that sir we have changed your display I told them why you changed my display without my permission I got very much disappointed they said sir it was the apples policy so we changed but if you arise any problem we are giving you 90days warranty you can come again if you got any other problem... So after 26days my phone started heating up it get so much heated it starts burning my skin and also I got touch issue problem so i went back the above service centre and told them everything they again make a job sheet give it to me took my phone and send me back said that we will call you after 4-5days as we have to sent your phone to banglore... After 2days they r calling Me that sir your phone is physically damaged after that my silence breaks...please tell me they repaired my phone they changed my display without asking me at that time they didn't told me that your phone is physically damaged ( mesh of the speaker)..Now they r telling me this thing please tell me how I damage my phone itself it is not possible it is not my fault it is that technician who changed my display and damaged my phone ... I am calling you people continously it has now been 17days i want be able to join my college take my classes because of my phone I got stuck in delhi... Please i want replacement please solve my case ASAP... I can't take damaged phone and they said it is now out of warranty y should I take it back they finished my warranty also and damaged my phone... i want replacement they can't blame me for this because it's impossible to damage my phone itself so i want replacement... Please resolve my case I am genuine from my side...

        Purchased a new charging cable in i store after 4 long years o[censored]sing without any complaints or purchasing any other accessories. i have apple 7 which i am using from September 2017. exactly after 4 years of completion first time in 4 years i purchased charging cable from i care for Rs 1800/- hoping it will last for next couple of year as i was using previous charger for 4 years without any damage still i have that. however this purchase was big disappoint for me as within 3 months charger was damaged due to low quality or internal damage product. the cover of charging connector which plug in to charging port is came off and inner part was visible. it came off towards the wiring part due to i was not able to push the charger in to the port. when i visit the i care in cochin. the response from technical team was not acceptable as a customer that this was damaged physically hence can not comes under warranty. even i show them the old non damaged charged what i was used for 4 years. but service person was not willing to listen and ignored saying this not our fault can not be repaired or claimed.
        i am looking for the replacement.

          I want to share my experience with Apple Service Centre in India. On 3rd October 2021 i bought a new Iphone12Mini at Flipkart. On 24th February 2022 just after 4 months while using it suddenly turned off and prodcued heat so i kept iphone aside for 2hrs and even after that when it didnt turned on i go to Service Centre in Rohtak, Haryana where they said that the phone has passed external vmi and will be sent to Bangalore and will take 10 days. I agreed and they sent it. After 4 days when i called service centre they said Banglore team gave a quotation that iphone is internally damaged andit does not come under their policy. I told tem that my ipone never even fall or come into contact with any deteriorating element and requested thr senior executive to investigate the case.she said she need 5 days and i agreed then after 4 days she called me and again said that Banglore team is denying and saying that the phone is unauthorisedly tampered by 3rd party so they not gonna fix it. I was shocked that first they said internal damage and now saying tampering by 3rd party. Like its clear na why would i take my iphone to 3rd Part when it is in warranty and why they giving two different statements. Maybe their technians did some damage to my iphone and now are not ready to accept it. I am just frustrated now as i was fond of Apple until i discovered this problem and pathetic services by it. I have surfed google YouTube where i get to know about the scam by Apple India Service Centre. Undoubtedly iphone is on the top in Mobile laptops, but what’s the advantage of these phones if they cant provide good services. Till now i was fon of Apple and never use to like anything or anyone saying against Apple.But guys this is my personal experience and just want to say that its better to buy other phones with less cost and good services than buying high cost iPhones with pathetic services. Think before you buy. Thank you.

            I bought a iphone 13 pro max in dubai 2 weeks before. Now iam using in india. I have faced an issuse of network so i visited apple store near me last week. They said the phone having a cellular issue otherwise everything is okay. and they said it takes 5 to 7 working days to service this. i said okay. and now they contacted me yesterday and they were saying the phone having a internal damage. but i bought the phone 2 - 3 weeks before how is the new mobile having a internal damage? and they are the one who opened the phone first. Apple gave me a defected product or in the service period they done it the internal damage. and the apple store saying me for the service it comes 1.19Lakhs. they were saying the damages doesn't comes under warranty. How is that possible and after that i checked on the coverage apple product it says repair and servie is expired. the apple gave me a deffected product, so i need a replacement or refund for the product. and i attached the files (invoice of i bought the phone in UAE, Service record provided by apple store last week and i checked coverage false details)

              Sir मुझे व मेरे एक साथी को अपनी अपनी बेटी के लिये apple 13 (128एमबी) का white colour का मोबाइल खरीदना था इसलिये मेरे बेटे ने फोन पर sri ganganagar apple store (annod) पर बात की उनसे मोडेल की उपलब्तता के बारे मे पुछने पर उपलब्थ बताया गया दुबारा 26 feb 2022 शनिवार को शाम 8 बजे मोडेल की उपलबत्ता व sunday को apple store खुला होता है या नहीं पूछने पर ans yes दिया गया मेरा city store से 75 km है मै और मेरा दोस्त sunday को 1.30 baje store पर गए तो हमे apple 13 (128एमबी) का white colour का मोबाइल दिखाया गया। हम आईसीआईसीआई डेबिट कार्ड से पेमेंट कैसे हो बात कर रहे थे कि कोई और custmer आए। अचानक हमे कह दिया गया कि ये मॉडेल तो 1 ही है आपको नही मिल सकता आप दूसरा colour या 256 mb .वाला ले लो. piece होते हुये भी हमे इस प्रकार मना कर दिया गया--- parveen kumar [protected]

                My macbook air was not booting on battery and was working only on charger. I took the laptop to apple authorized service center F1 Info Solutions Jaipur, They said that it looks like a battery replacement case but they told me they first need to perform a diagnosis (900 Rs) to check by updating software, formatting the laptop. I didn't have a backup so I took my laptop created backup and then submitted it. The next day they tell me that it's not a battery problem it's a logic board issue they said they have tried with another battery and still behaves the same, quoted 35000 for logic bord replacement. They didn't even update software/ reset my laptop I think they didn't even open a screw and took 900 Rs for nothing.

                I couldn't believe it so went for a second opinion, took my laptop to two different shops(C Scheme, Raiser Plaza) both checked with replacing battery and laptop was working fine.

                TLDR- F1 Info is scammers who just want to pull maximum money out of customers' pockets. I want my diagnosis amount refunded in full because they clearly didn't perform it.

                  I would like to inform you that i have purchased my iPhone 12 pro max in july 2021
                  Being an iPhone user i was very happy but your customer service is pathetic in India. I was having issues with my speaker i went to service centre in Delhi (Address F1 INFO SERVICES AND SOLUTIONS PVT LTD L-108-109, 2nd FLOOR LAJPAT NAGAR PH-2. ) Phone number 41005854. They changed display of my phone without informing me or without asking me after that, They called me and gave me my phone back, I noticed some scratches but I thought to leave that, As my phone is okay now and i can use it, Using my phone for 1 week my phone started to heat up, phone was that much heated that it almost burned my skin, I thought may it will get blasted in sec or more. I went again to the same service centre as they told me that if anything happened please visit again we will do the needful, they took my phone again to Bangalore service centre as they did before, after 2 days i got a call in the morning on[protected] that you phone is physically damaged HOW??
                  I gave my phone in a working condition NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE as written in the job sheet. YOUR APPLE CHANGED MY DISPLAY WITHOUT INFORMING ME OR WITHOUT ASKING, now that the phone is damaged because of your SERVICE CENTRE they are asking me to pay 67000 to get REPLACEMENT WOW… than I disagreed for the same then they guy on the call started to bargain from 670000 to 50000 to 30000
                  WHAT KIND OF BARGAINING POLICY IS THIS??😡
                  Now That all is your fault
                  I HAVE TO PAY THE AMOUNT IS THIS WHY WE BUY THE I PHONE WITH NO SECURITY.
                  MY PHONE IS UNDER WARRANTY
                  I WANT THIS ISSUE TO BE RESOLVED ASAP

                          I brought iphone 11 64gb varient black on[protected].
                          On dec 04 i recognised camera focus issue and submitted to icare service to look into it.After 5 days i was given the phone back which camera was replaced. Again after 10 days issue is repeated(total of 4 times i have submitted for repair)even my phone is out of warranty sitting in service service which its not acceptable and again on 18th feb 2022 i got deliver of phone which i repeatedly got issue the next morning and reported to icare centre, each and every time changed camera and delivered it to me. From past dec device isnt with me and its just sitting in the icare centre
                          im really fedup of the service and i demand a resoultion on this. I really dont want the phone, give me new device nor re-imbursment...Each and every time being a consumer im compromised... But its not acceptable, i have invested on the phone with some decent earning and savings...

                            Hi,

                            My name is Srikanth N and I had purchased a Macbook Air 2019 from Flipkart on 2nd July 2020. Correctly after one year of purhcase and one month after the warranty expired, the Macbook started showing Battery problems. One day, it refused to power on. Due to the second wave of Covid and also family problems( Getting affected with Covid), I was unable to contact Apple support for repair. After a month or so I contacted Apple and I was asked to contact the Aptronix repair center and since the device was out of warranty, I was asked to pay 38000/ for motherboard replacement.

                            I paid the amount and I expected the repair center to change the motherboard and solve the problems for me but after 2 days, they called me back and informed me that the Macbook Air was beyond repair and by changing the motherboard the issues were not resolved.

                            They asked to purchase a new Macbook and informed me that my Macbook was of no use any longer.

                            I had paid 83000/ during purchase and I also paid 38000 for repair. What ever they asked me to do, I did and now the repair center was unable to help me and they are pushing me away and telling me my 83k worth Macbook Air is scrap.

                            PLS HELP!!!

                              I am using iphone 12pro max which is in warranty till 22nd april 2022 the problem is phone networks turns to ‘no service’ while using my device in charging and phone gets ‘heat’ and using all applications and mainly call gets disconnected while using phone in charging i went to apple authorised service centre they simply just reset my phone and gave me back and issue didn’t get solved still my phone not working properly with this problem and warranty’s getting over.

                                Hello Team,

                                Recently my brother bought iPhone 12 it's cost of around 55k to 60k. But they didn't give charger along with mobile.

                                In the market even for 10000 cost phone also providing along with charger and headphone.

                                Apple company says that why they are not providing charger and headphone in box means their answer is to save environment using less paper or cover or plastic. This point is ok. But this point is not ok in the above issue because they make box very thin because in the box only mobile is coming but if we want to buy a charger separately they are giving in box extra means they are selling the charger for high amount in a separate box. Don't know that providing all accessories in box is better or making each accessories in one one box is better think once I am requesting you and begging your attention on this issue. Because apple charges huge amount for mobile as well as charger and headphones.

                                Please I am requesting you team please take any action, with the action apple company should give all accessories along with mobile i.e charger and headphone.

                                And please Indian people's money from Apple company

                                    Even after raising issue to customer care was failed to provide the accurate information and order was cancelled with client consent and claiming to refund after 7 days is costing the customer bank charges to bear which is due to negligence and integrity issue by Apple employees and shipment team.

                                    I have never denied to pay the money which i have placed order for.

                                      Ipad touch id is not working and it is under warranty, the ipad is 3 months old.

                                      Service centre guy just looked at it and said it will be out of warranty because there is a dent at the left corner bottom,

                                      Its a bruce, like scratch not dent, but i was denied service.

                                        MATTER MOST URGENT

                                        Dear Sir / Madam
                                        Order no W[protected] i had placed an iPhone order on iphone website today i had received the consignment in Bluedart Courier.

                                        1. Without seeing the product in physically i purchased iphone pro max but unfortunately its looks very big in my hand, so asked for a replacement for iphone pro from Ms. Manasi (customer care service advisor) she says no replacement, my question is very simple when we are getting replacement in Amazon why not in iPhone website.

                                        2. Ms Manasi says no replacement, no cancellation how it's possible? First of all product purchased in website also it's costed Rs.1, 39, 000/- not a small amount, i should be comfortable in using it.

                                        3. Either i want refund, replacement or cancellations anything if it's not possible will go with Consumer Court with valid justification.

                                        4. I wanted a immediate revert on this or will put my credit card in dispute payment transaction and cancel the card also i won't open the received Bluedart consignment.

                                        Here attached the phone dimensions in my hand, Call Centre Conversation with Ms. Manasi, The Bluedart consignment received and unboxed it.

                                        am an COVID postive since 3weeks, was hospitalized since 2weeks and returned last week from medication, not able to visit any near by istore to check physically to buy the product, i trusted in iPhone website and purchased it, but unfortunately not getting any good support from iphone customer care team.

                                        Hopefully you will understand the concern and help to resolve asap.
