I have a dth connection feom asianet... It is not working and i registered a complaint to this effect... There has been absolutely no response from the company... Each time i call them they give me the same lines... Will attend to it asap... Butnothing has been done... They have few listed telephone numbers but nothing is working... They just make d consimer look like a total idiot

    I am facing frequent disconnection of your net service and despite repeated complaints made by me (Refer your complaint register) the response is not satisfactory. The stereo type answers provided from your customer service department is either ' technical error, we have lodged your complaint' or 'there is a local issue for which we have placed complaint'.
    Further, on calling the customer service number to lodge a complaint one looses patience, as one has to hold the telephone receiver for more than 15 to 20 minutes or at times it could be about half an hour. "the stereo message hitting the ears -" all our executives are busy-your phone is important to us - we will attend to you shortly". At times on account of no response often we disconnect the call.
    Now that you have provided a call back system, ([protected]), we expected better service, but to our surprise the response call from your center often happens to be after much delay, may be when we are busy attending some other work. I sincerely feel these lacunae are due to the poor supervision at your call center.
    I am a customer of asianet for many years, but i sincerely feel and advise
    That in future, if this happens to be the state of affair, i may have seek services of other agencies in the area.

      I have tried contacting the customer service frequently regarding the abysmal service asianet broadband is providing. A month ago, i switched from 1mbps at 650 to 10mbps with no fup at 799 (+18 percent gst), which should give me 10mbps on every website i visit.

      However though asianet has been providing me with abysmal speeds, downtimes and throttling, every day, and has been lying blatantly about the speeds and has been throttling services like netflix and twitch. Tv

      The more peculiar thing is the lie that they pull about their speeds, naturally anyone who chooses to check their speeds will use speedtest.net, but asianet has rigged the website to provide false speeds, incase for me, i always get 10mbps speeds on speedtest.net, but below acceptable speeds on other speedtesting services like fast.com (Netflix) and speedof. Me, i have attached screenshots for proof.

      This is unacceptable for the price they are charging for speeds and services which local providers are giving at much lesser costs and has better uptime and has a better customer support.

      I did try contacting asianet customer support, whose lines are always busy and now does a missed call feature where the customer should, miss call them, and then at their favorable time will call you back and ask about the issue and will offer you the "router restart" method and will send a technician right away, infact i haven't had anyone check my connection, infact my connection is fine, but it's asianet throttling or doing some kind of speed reduction system.

      This happens way too often, the connection drops and the routing is bad, the speed is inconsistent, on a good day i get 5mbps tops.

      If this is the way this god forsaken company is choosing to treat their customers, i wish the forums would intervene and help me out here.

        My tv was not working for 5 days last month due to set top box problem. I registered complaint on all days and the complaint was not attended till i visit their office at angamaly. Today they disconnected the channel with out any information and i was not able to view the tv today. I can tolerate the natural problems like thunder, lightinning, heavy raining etc. Which may happen occasionaly. The service of the asia net was good in the beginning but the service is very bad now. When i informed the office they advised me to call them tomorrow. They are wasting my time and money. The concerned staff are quite irresponsible. Hence, i request you to refund the charges for not giving standard services and strict actions may be taken to resolve created problems. Your urgent attention is invited in this case.

          Dear sir,

          My broadband connection tv151536 is the asianet sub code is been used in my shop, where as for the past 2 weeks the internet modem which was provided by asianet is dead. I have lodged a complaint based on this but noone has turned back. I am lodging this complaint in the forum because i had a business loss in my shop and lodging this complaint based on it. As internet was not there i was not able to monitor my cctv. Apart from that this is a fixed payment which i am making and i request to deduct the amount based on the non usage from the next bill.
          Kindly accept this complaint and please take action accordingly.

            It is proven scientifically and informed in retreats that a baby's 75% brain development occurs in a mother's womb and by the age of 5 years 95% would be developed. If such kinds of serials are being watched by the members of your home, we will not be able to bring our children up successfully. We cannot force our family members to totally shutdown the serials as they are addicted to the same or because of their cadre in the family. But such totally ridiculous and waste and sometimes totally vulgar serials cannot be tolerated by working and pregnant mothers like me who have no option but to plainly watch their children exposed to such vulgarity and losing their innocence. If serial script writers have no story at all and if that is the reason for making such nonsense stories, then you may please borrow korean serials most of which are really cute and adorable and decent. Kindly view this request and complaint seriously as what we require most from our children when they grow up is to be genuinely good humans more than being scientists, engineers and doctors.

              I had recently complained regarding the speed of t asianet broadband.. Basically there is nil speed i’m unable to use net n this issue is ongoing fr last 5 days
              1st time i called t service they send a technician he said it’s down every where in thiruvalla n left jus like dat however our neighbor uses t same connection and he has no issues with speed...
              Again i called t coustomer service n tey said tey r unaware of any speed issues in thiruvalla they ll send a technician immediately it’s been two days n we r still waiting
              Such pathetic coustomer service tey ave... Very disappointed

                Most of serials telecasting in asianet is giving bunch bad information to the viewers and the repeated telecasting is also annoying. Every time when i turn on tv it seems to be retelcasting the same serial day and night. It is very irritating to many people. Every serials are the same by its content. It really annoys. I think serials must be banned

So i humbly request you to cancel the asianet dataline broadband internet connection. My internet subcode is (Tv134650).

                    My name is t. R. S. Mani and my cable tv subscriber id is: ha90170510.
                    On or about 10th of this month, i lodged a telephonic complaint regarding mal function of the stb, and in response, your staff came the next day, checked the stb and informed that the stb is not functioning and since the warranty for same is over, it has to be extended, for which a sum of rs.275/- has to be paid. I was a bit upset about the payment and said i cannot pay the same. After thinking over the matter and considering that my subscription is valid till july this year, on or about 12th january, i phoned your trichur north (Ha01) informing that i am willing to pay the charge of rs.275/- and requested that the stb be repaired. For this request, your office informed that their staff will come and look into the matter. Even after repeated requests on following days, you staff just assured that the technician will visit my place the next day, but this never happened. At one time, i was informed by your staff that i should personally bring the stb to your office at trichur, and pay the amount, and then twenty-one days thereafter, the stb will be repaired and reinstalled.
                    I am an 84-year old senior citizen, suffering from copd and undergoing oxygen therapy, and hence i could not go over. After getting disgusted with the assurance of your staff that the technician will visit my house, i decided to depute a person with the stb and a cheque for rs.275/- towards the said charges.
                    To my surprise, your staff returned the stb stating that i should lodge a fresh complaint with the trichur office on 15th february, and your technician will collect the said stb from my house, and 21 days thereafter, the stb will be returned duly repaired.
                    One could understand the time of 21 days, but the need to lodge a fresh complaint on 15/2/18, and to wait for another 21 days to get the stb repaired and reinstalled, is something i could not accept.
                    At the time of providing the stb, i had to accept whatever was provided to me including the stb, without any option, and i think it is asianet's responsibility to ensure that the stb is functional till the subscription is valid. And to ask for another rs.1500/- if i need a new stb while the subscription is current, is something which one cannot accept. It is because of this i took the option of getting the stb repaired and reinstalled after payment of 275/-.
                    Now, that i have paid the sum of 275/- (Rect#1110878 dt.23/1/18) why should i lodge a fresh company in this regard on 15th feb.? And wait for the technician to collect the stb and get it back repaired after another 21 days? Till such time do you expect your subscriber to go without having cable tv connection? This appears to be attrocious, particularly to a subscriber who have been with you for over ten years. You can check your records for the longivity of my subscription, the date i first lodged a complaint and the date the stb was presented in your office and the date of payment of rs.275/-.

                    As of this date and time, no action seems to have been taken. Your Trichur North office Manager said that I have to make the complaint again on 15th February, and then your technician will come and collect the set top box, and fifteen days thereafter, the complaint will be rectified. This would mean over one month's subscription has gone waste. Do you expect your customer to sit and wait for this atrocious treatment? Please look into this matter immediately, or otherwise I will have to cancel my subscription and ask for a due refund.

                      The complaint was registered on 17th. Jan.2018 no. Ge0073759. The problem is breaking of the picture and speech. There is a customer care no.[protected] where you make your complaints. I made an email complaint, because this number was not available for my five attempts. The next day when i checked, they told that the message is passed to the mattancherry area where i belong to, but they have no idea what is the status of the compliant and what action is taken. Their only responsibility is to pass on to the next person and there no feed back to them. The mob. No of the local office was switched off when i tried to contact. So i had to hunt for the local office phone and finally when i reached there, a lady there told me they have received the complaint from the main office and that will inform the techs. Now as everybody knows local techs are always very busy with their schedule and service depends on their mercy.
                      My point is that aianet has a customer care which is irresposible and inefficient,. This my experience.

                      Unnecessarily dragging the story.. The karutha muthu and bharya serials posts only bad and worst consequences, I think director must have born to an illegal mother to think like this.. I sincerely oblige Asianet to publish good, interesting social serials like Parasparam instead of serials like karutha muthu and bharya..

                          I have been having multiple calls with asianet broadband services for their incompetent services over the past 6 months. One issue after the other keeps coming back after apparently they 'fixing' it.

                          The first issue was that i was not getting internet during the prime time of the day. Sometimes between evening 4pm - 10 pm and during the night time.

                          I have called their customer service more than 20 times and have spent over 300 rs in phone bills to fix this issue. They keep on saying that they will send a technician to check my faulty line. However, no one has come to check it till now. I had specifically told the customer care executive that no one will be available between 11:30 am and 8:30 pm as i will be in office and the technician should come before 11:30 am. I was also willing to wait a couple of days for him to show up. But no one did.

                          By a stroke of luck the issue mus have gotten resolved automatically as i do not have it now. The new issue is that the low bandwidth and high ping that i have in my network. I am calling them almost everyday now. No one seems to even know what ping and latency is. How am i supposed to get an answer or a resolution if there is no one who can even understand my issue. I have absolutely no use for this speed that they are giving me now. I have attached all proof of my plan and the bandwidth i am getting from this network

                          I am unable to work on this bandwidth and this is creating losses for me.

                            I am a subscriber for asianet communication and my sub. No. Ga9201182 and compaint no. Ga01209356 complaint on 20/11/2017. No response from them after reminds and after mail to regional manager kochi. Please take stern action as i am an advance subscriber and paid up to 31/03/2018. My mental strain and physical strain is very high. My family is very much annoyed. Please make us pleasantable atmosphere in my home

                                On october 9th i requested for an asianet direct digital connection at aluva office. I choose asianet direct connection, also for taking asianet internet broadband connection. On the next day, a technician came for testing the signal and the connection was given, and a bill was issued in name of asianet. On this month, when the technician came for checking signal for internet connection only, we came to know that we were cheated. As the cable connection which was given wasn't asianet direct digital connection, but it was the connection from a cable operator (Who owns an asianet link) in our locality. As was a link connection we were not able to take the internet connection and also due to power failure in operator's office, we are not able to watch the t. V programs. Therefore, i am requesting the concerns to take immediate steps for giving me the direct connection. Otherwise, i will be urged to move with legal formalities for cheating me.

                                I have connected my Asianet set-top box after 6 six months.
                                Now it's showing that "Signal not found". Actually, there is no problem with the incoming signal. I think the set-top box software is outdated. It's also not updating automatically. I just want to know that is there any other method to update the software by the user?

                                  I have been having multiple calls with asianet broadband services for their incompetent services over the past 6 months. One issue after the other keeps coming back after apparently they 'fixing' it.

                                  The first issue was that i was not getting internet during the prime time of the day. Sometimes between evening 4pm - 10 pm and during the night time.

                                  I have called their customer service more than 20 times and have spent over 300 rs in phone bills to fix this issue. They keep on saying that they will send a technician to check my faulty line. However, no one has come to check it till now. I had specifically told the customer care executive that no one will be available between 11:30 am and 8:30 pm as i will be in office and the technician should come before 11:30 am. I was also willing to wait a couple of days for him to show up. But no one did.

                                  By a stroke of luck the issue mus have gotten resolved automatically as i do not have it now. The new issue is that the low bandwidth and high ping that i have in my network. I am calling them almost everyday now. No one seems to even know what ping and latency is. How am i supposed to get an answer or a resolution if there is no one who can even understand my issue. I have absolutely no use for this speed that they are giving me now. I have attached all proof of my plan and the bandwidth i am getting from this network

                                  I am unable to work on this bandwidth and this is creating losses for me.

                                  Here's an update Asianet, the issue has re-occured. Exactly on the 1st of the month, again!. I just called your "technical support" and they did not even know why this issue is occurring .The representative's name was Unni, at the end he said that there was a so called issue in Kochi, that is why the speed is low. Could you please resolve this at the earliest.

It is very slow so we humbly request you to cancel our broadband connection. I am forced to cancel my broadband connection due to your low speed. I have contacted your people so many times, but i was only dissapointed. So i firmly believe that you will take the needed procedures and cancel my broadband conection as fast as possible....

                                    One of the dirtiest service and connection ever seen, that is asianet broadband for me now.

                                    My subscriber code is : tv128748, and i stay nearby technopark, trivandrum.

                                    We never get the speed as they mention in their plans. I had upgraded my plan, just to see slow network connections.

                                    Now the main cause of the writeup here is frequent network unavailability & non-responsiveness for many days even after multiple reminders to the waste thing named customer service call.

                                    Let me mention a few things that are happening nowadays.

                                    The internet stopped working (Let alone the speed, that is always a comedy) last saturday night i. E, on 28th october 2017. I made many unsuccessfull efforts to connect to the customer care centre. Their line seems to be always busy (Lol)..

                                    I could connect to the customer care centre on 29th october 2017, sunday morning and then registered a complaint. I had some really urgent things to be done during the weekends. I had called them multiple times that it is really urgent for me, and they ensured that they had escalated a high priority ticket. Since it was a sunday, even cyber cafes were closed and i couldnt get my urgent work done. I had called and talked to the customer care executive many times on sunday, and nothing happened.

                                    On monday morning when i called them, they mentioned that the technical department has to respond and that they will do something to make this urgent. Again nothing happened during the day, and i was able to get connection only by monday night.

                                    This is how they do things urgently :-) :-)..

                                    And now the superb thing is that, again today is a saturday (4th november 2017) and the internet is not working :-) :-). I contacted the customer care executive, got complaint registered. I seriously want the continuous network availability as soon as possible.

                                    I asked them the contact number of the nodal office, tried calling, the phone rings and no one attends.

                                    I donot want to pay bill for the days where i have been adversely affected. (In fact they should pay me ideally). I want a cut in the bills for the number of days when the network was unavailable.. I am not even telling the speed part.

                                    I want the following to be done as soon as possible:

                                    1. Restoring the network connection, at the appropriate speed, as soon as possible, in place.

                                    2. Reduction in the bill for the number of days I was not getting connection.

                                    There had been such network unavailability issues in the past too, but this is unaccaeptable now, 4 days o[censored]navailability in the past 8 days... Come on, customers are not fools sitting here just to pay the bills.
                                    They cheated me with the plan I took up. I had confirmed if I would get Sony tv when I picked a plan for a new connectionZ it was available for 3 days and then its gone. When i call customer care they say its not there in my plan and i have to pay an additional 120rs per month to get it!
                                    The customer service ppl behave like parrots and do not listen to our complaints. They just repeat their well learnt scripts.
                                    Ridiculous service.
