I am a customer with Asianet Satellite Communications Limited since February 2011. My subscription number with Asianet is TV59530 and current billing address : Nandanam, Ayodhya Nagar, Sreekariyam PO, Thiruvananthapuram 695017. I am being billed Rs. 790 plus taxes that totals to Rs. 888/- per month. I had contacted Asianet customer care on 3rd January 2015 regarding the lack of clarity on my broadband plan as I did not see my plan tariff listed on their website. The response from the agent was that I was on an older plan which has been revised on many occasions and I was paying a higher subscription fee than the speed I was being provided currently. He advised me to write an email to the Asianet customer care on: [protected]@asianetindia.com. I wrote a detailed email to that ID on January 3rd and did not receive any response. Today, 1st March 2015 I called Asianet again and the agent who attended by query informed me that I am currently on a plan where I get 700 kbps speed unlimited, when I asked further she said that plan currently is equivalent of Rs. 450/- plus taxes. When I raised concerns of being overcharged by an inferior service her response was that I had not requested a change of plan. On which I raised my objection because Asianet Satellite never educated me about the plan revisions or change in tariff. The same company who sends me 100s of communication - text, emails, phone calls - if I miss a payment or part of their promotion did not educated a customer that the plans have changed, in any case they should migrate my plan by default so that I enjoy a service which is on par with the subscription fee I am being charged. Asianet agents claim of the plan revision being listed on their website is not good enough. Because if they are making changes they should also ensure customer recieves the benefits of it automatically, not by finding it out on their own and requesting for a change. I need a resolution on this with me being refunded the extra amount I have been paying for the duration I have been overcharged. My contact details: [protected], email: [protected]@gmail.com

    The coordination between the call centre and field is poor. Inspite of calling and informing about a mac ID mismatch from 12 noon, no complaint was registered and informed. I had called the operators at 12 noon, 1:39 pm, 1:43pm, 1:53 pm, 2:09 pm, 05:22pm, 06:10pm, 06:50 pm, 07:07 pm and still no complaint was registered. None of the technical assistance team contacted me or had come to site for technical assistance. Height of poor service, price we have to pay for monopoly in the cable tv sector

      too poor service- due to delay in finding the defect in the junction box internet service failure 20 days in January 2015, delay in finding the modem complaint net service failure from 13th February 2015 to 19th Feb. 2015. More over we are incurring heavy losses and phone charges when we called to the customer care -Ernakulam and Kottayam office as when we calling them after saying to hold they are taking too much time to connect the executive .All this time we are incurring telephone charges from our account.This kind of actions from a reputed company like Asianet is very disgraceful .Take care to avoid this kind of malpractices to the customers as there are too many Net providers are available with out much cost.

          I think, asianet is playing a dirty trick to extract extra money from the subscibers. For the last few months i have been receiving their bill only two days before due date. I received their bill dated 1/02/2015 on 14th february(Second saturday) after-noon . Due date of the bill is 15th february, sunday. In any case, you cannot make cash payment through post office on these days and you are forced to pay late payment charges.
          I fail to understand, what on earth prevents these people in sending the bills to customers sufficiently early, at least one week before due date. Either it is an intentionally done dirty trick or gross apathy to customer service. Let them remember they can fool some people but not all people all the time. Time will come when they will grieve for their apthy to customer service.

                I am the user of kt19086. My inter net being under complaint since 07/01/2015. I complained several times in Kottayam Office and also to Customer care Centre, Ernakulam. Even though, I have been calling them since 07/01/2015 the problem not yet solved. When calling them, they are saying that the complaint will be solved the next day itself and they are giving some instructions to reset the system through telephone. This is repeating every day and on 28/1/2015 a technician came and by examining the problem he said that there is problem in line and he informed the matter to the customer care centre and the complaint was booked. Then suddenly the net worked smoothly till 10.30 P.M till I log out. Today when I opened the inter net at 7.30 P.M there is no problem and suddenly the connection became disconnected at 8.30 P.M. I called again customer care centre and with their instruction tried to reset the connection about half an hour and there was no progress. At last by saying that they will send the technician on 30/01/2015, they disconnected the phone. But after that by 10.15 P.M inter connection became O.K. This is very disgraceful to Asianet - such a leading Company - to continue this type of mal practice. I am incurring heavy losses by calling phones more than half an hour daily. More over, I am not in a position to do any work through net as at any time it may be disconnected. I remitted the payment as per the yearly plan and my usage per month is about 2.5gb. But due to the problem in the line, till 29/1/2015 my usage is only 1/4 of the usage and only remaining 2 days for remaining usage and this also will be possible as the inter net may be disconnected tomorrow also. In this situation take immediate steps to solve my problem permanently or to refund my balance amount and enable me to take any other inter net connection. Expecting your favourable decision at the earliest.

                  I am an Asianet subscriber. My account no. is TR3987. The connection is very slow. The office of Asianet has given me two telephone numbers. But, they are not taking the phone when I call them to lodge this complaint. If this continues, I will be compelled to change my service provider. I am not changing this provider only because I have to choose another provider from Kerala only and I do not expect any better service in Kerala.

                    I have selected Asianet as my broadband connection before 2 months. I have a connection of 790 rs plan. That is the amount I have been billed last month. And it takes almost a minute to load google.com. Is that the speed you are giving customers. I am totally disappointed with the service I am getting from Asianet. I have given a complaint (ticket no AG13681) and the next day i got reply message like my problem has been resolved. No technicians came, no changes happen. Are you guys making us fools by taking away our money and giving back nothing. I need to change my connection, you please take back my modem and router and give back my money. You can make some other people fool with this.Now it has been more than 10 days I am having the same problem. It's like stealing money from people, how disgusting. You can take all the sealed money but you have to take-back all the things that you installed in here. That's a burden for me. Real thieves.

                    How bad these guys are. Real fraud peoples are these people who cashes our hard earned money. Asianet customer service is the worst service and I advice people not to take their connection.
                    Asianet people, the real bad people. Thieves give back our money, and get lost from our area. If you want money, go to people begging for it. There is much more dignity in that than making money from people by giving bad services.
                    I have been complaining for last 1 month about my Internet connection speed, they came home for checking modem, find no problem, but there is no answer from them but they need money not even working billing station working fine and call Centre too .. my place is Trivandrum near Law college, PMG

                      Hi Team, After a long research i have made the decision to owe the Asianet broadband connection at home after using the Reliance Netconnect modem since its being very slow. In the mean time i asked for the plans which ever they have, they told me the lesser plans have complaints and we are giving only the Quicker 700 plan in home use and from the Unlimited Heavy Surfer 619, just wanted to know is this true ?? Finally on 14/01/2015 i have activaed the 619 Heavy Surfer connection by 3.00PM and it works fine and everybody was happy with the service provided by the Asianet guys. Before that let me intimate a point from my end, as in the advertisement it says the modem comes free with the Cable tv connection and since we are from the Operational location under Muvattupuzha they do not have this option this was the answer provided by the Asianet team near by my house and more over they do not have a Wi- Fi modem and i have seperately bought the Wi-fi router, since my requirement was Wi-fi modem i did not enquired much about the modem But if you guys provide me the Wi-Fi modem along with the AMC it will be very much helpful as our place will be worstly affected with thunder storm. What ever happened am ok with it But the problem arises from today onwards, evening i turned on my computer and tried connecting to the Internet, there was no Access - Tried all my trouble shooting from my end since am being working with the tech support with US customers. Finally my support did no good so then i tried calling the number on their brochure - [protected]. Thanks to the no delay as i got the representative in just 1.5minutes, Spoke to representative Mr.Rijo, inform him the current situation am facing and also told him the modem status, he also told me to do the same steps which ever i did, but that failed . In the mean time he put me on hold for 4 times and since am being in the Support sessionwe just had conversation just for 2-3minutes more over the hold time was near to 8minutes and finally he come with the solution that it was the problem with the Line connection. I do not think to check the problem its not required to hold for 8minutes When he asked to put on hold for 5th time, i said i cannot hold any more told him to transfer to Supervisor or any senior agent what was his (Rijo's)response was Rijo - "they do not have the option to transfer the phone to some one else" Myself - I asked for the Employee id or Badge id : Rijo - " we do not have any badge id or employee id, just my name is Rijo" Myself - i asked for supervisor or some one who i can talk to Rijo - Again he put me on hold and i think he has transferred to nearest person named Vishnu Vishnu - Sir may i know what was the reason for the call and the problem Myself - I said i activated the connection on 14/01/2015 and today 15/01/2015 there was no connection His next reply to me : Vishnu - I was problem with the line connection I disconnected the line i know its waste of my time and money asking more about the problem and this call last for almost to 14minutes, its not the matter of how long the call went, it can be complete with in 2 or 3 minutes of time instead he put me on hold for 10minutes and conversation happened only less than 4minutes. Asianet team, i never expect the customer service will be too bad and the representatives are not helpful at all, they are just playing around and not giving proper solution I dont know whether to continue with the service or not, second day onwards there is no connection and more over the customer care representatives are not at all helpful Please provide me a accurate solution for this, otherwise i have paid (5000+619+1200 = 6819) for no use also kindly provide the AMC along with it I hope this email will not be in junk section, expecting a positive response and there will be some sort of action for this Also i got an SMS text message saying that the complaint is being registered, SMS below : Sub Code :[protected] Dear Asianet Broadband Subscriber, Your Network Complaint has been registered Ticket No : MP003 Thanking you Paul A Aby

                      I have used a couple of brands in saffron.I bought this saffron from Lulu Mall, Kochi for my personal use and found it to be the cheapest saffron available.It claims that its from Kashmir in the website but not mentioned the same on the product which itself sounds awful.I have used Tajmahal from spain which is better than them.Kashmir saffron is known as the costly among saffron.Mia saffron is priced @ MRP Rs.370 in Lulu and 320 for 1gm in their website which tells that they are supplying cheap saffron from Iran.Real Kashmir saffron costs much more.They have just mentioned as Mia Saffron.This itself tells the story.I am a victim of this fake product.Kindly check whether it is mentioned as pure Kashmir saffron which is hard to find among the saffron brands.Make sure that you get the real Kashmir saffron.No matter you buy it from a big mall or small shop, always make sure to get real Kashmir saffron.I am waiting for better saffron brands from Kashmir.Say no to Mia saffron

                        As per the asianet dtv payment subscription 29/04/2010, the validity of the connection was from 2010 April to 2015 March. The dtv service was disconnected on 19/12/2014 claiming that arrears are pending. The allegations made are false as the payment bill attached below proves the payment made is valid till march 2015, following which I raised a ticket with asianet dtv customer care. Later the people from asianet customer care called me up and said that they have no record of the previous bills and I would have to bring the bill to their office in Elamakkara. I had to make the trip to their office just because of their poor customer care service and the issue was resolved on 26/12/2014. Ticket Details(for the period 19/12/2014 -26/12/2014) [protected] Ref Compaint number - GA06092540 Resolution ticket number - GA06092920 The dtv connection was short lived. Today(5/1/2015) around 5:00pm again they have blocked the service with a message popping up on the screen about some arrears yet to be paid which is not true (as the bill states so.) Ticket Details(created on 5/1/2015) [protected] Ticket Number: GA06093542 I have already lost around 8 days of connectivity. I would appreciate if ASIANET could rectify their error and also update their records with attached bill proof.

I had immediately made the payment vide receipt No. 2014/5145738 and the same was informed to your office by the Agent. However my connection has not yet reactivated.                               I am Praveen S Kurup, a user of Asianet Broadband customer ID KT23747. Today the 5th day still my problem is not resolved. Everyday I call the customer centre they told it is an IP problem, and they will assure me that it will be done in 5minutes.Still not resolve the problem. Asianet customer centre has no Toll Free number. To call the customer centre, not get the Customer executive directly, 10 or 15 minutes holding then connect to Customer executive. To get the customer assistance, customer will pay.

                                I am your customer from the beginning of asianet and i am very much proud to be its member and happy in its immense growth all through the past years . But it is very much pathetic to note that it coming to below standard, I am customer of asianet net in the unlimited package scheme for the last so many years . but now the net is having complaint every week . When I call the customer care I get the caller tone you are very important to us that part is well and good . Next the call will be attended by a lady and she will ask for the code no and she will verify the name and the call will last for 5 minutes and I will loose 10 rs . The call will end without saying status of the complaint . I asked for their nodal officers phone number the no is [protected]. He never responded or otherwise they have given me a wrong no . Please verify so that it may not happen to other customers which will tarnish your image in future .I am forwarding these things to your kind consideration . Please look in to the matter seriously and do the needful at the earliest .                                 WHAT MR. P V PHILIP WROTE HERE IS 100% CORRECT. BEING A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR MANY YEARS THE QUALITY OF THE ASIANET DATE LINE DECLINED LIKE MAD. EARLIER LESS PROBLEMS AND IF ANY ISSUE IS THERE THEY RECTIFY IN 5 MINS. EXCELLET EFFICIENT WAY OF DOING THINGS. NOW WHEN EVER I CAN IT ALWAYS SAY ALL LINES ARE BUSY- THIS MEANS NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS GONE UP DRASTICALLY. EARLIER I USE TO GET THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE WITH IN SECONDS. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT ATLEST 5 MINS TO TALK TO THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE. AND ABOVE ALL THIS I HAVE TO CALL MINIMUM 3-4 TIMES EVERYDAY TO GET THE CONNECTION BACK. WHEN EVER I TAKE BREAK FROM MY WORK THE CONNECTIONS GOES OFF. AND TO GET THAT BACK I HAVE TO CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM A PERSON WHO WORKS ONLINE AND I HAD FRICTION WITH MY CLIENTS FEW TIMES BECAUSE OF THE BAD NET CONNECTION.                                   I had complained several times to customer care regarding not getting the internet connection several times but its been three days the issue has not solved. very very bad customer support and service from Asianet. if the complaint doesn't resolve today itself ( 17/11/2014 ) i will not pay a penny as rent for this month. This is the second time that this situation is happening with me i will never suggest Asianet Dataline to any of my friends as well and this is the last month i am using your service and please try to appoint someone qualified to resolve issue in your technical team. PLEASE DONT GO FOR THE ASIANET BROADBAND SERVICE AS THEY HAVE NO INTERESTE TO HEAR OR SOLVE A CUSTOMERS ISSUE. I HAD BEEN WAITING AND COMPLAINING FOR THE PAST THREE DAYS FOR THE INTERNET CONNECTION PROBLEM. THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING TO RESOLVE MY ISSUE.

                                    I had taken one year digital TV subscription (Code GA[protected] on 24/04/2013, but as I had to travel abroad I had requested the office of Asianet to freeze the account. I returned to India only in September 2014 and reactivated my account from September 2014 onwards. On 15th November 2014, I got a message in my mobile that I have to clear a due to reactivate my services. On connecting with customer care they informed that I have a due of around Rs. 1580/- and so they have disconnected my connection. They provided me a number of the accounts section and on calling that number I was told to wait till Monday so that they will check on the matter. I would like to know what the problem is. Why are they disconnecting my service when I have only used 4 months of digital TV upto now. I still can enjoy 8 months uninterrupted service. I have lost 2 days of the subscription, and too on Weekend. I am really annoyed by the irresponsibility of Asianet. Kindly take immediate action on the matter.

                                      Value less programmes one after another increasing. Damaging social setup and minds of people. It is well known that every day pain and pain showing means the viewers get more and pain. It submerges in the mind of people. Slowly slowly people become such characters in their real life.                                         Sub: Complaint on Cable Connection Ref: 1.Sub code : GB: 91002017 2. Ticket no.- WC1544 & GB 00029408 3. sms Dated on 22nd October 2014 Sir, I am a customer of Asianet Satellite Communication Ltd, for the past three years . The service was found impeccable, but recently I am getting trouble with the poor customer service. On 11th oct 2014, a complaint was given to the customer care department Through telephone & online about the failure in connection . The service men came to my home on 16th Oct 2014 and told that reason is the malfunction of the set-top box . On the next day itself, a call from the service centre and asked for a payment of Rs.900 for the service cost of set -top box I am not willing to pay any service cost for Set top box, because of two reasons 1. Set top box is the sole property of service provider (as per TRAI regulations) 2. Complaint of the Set top box is due to the effect of lightning through the cable net work, we are unable to disconnect the cable from set top box for any immediate reasons. I request the authorities to look in to this matter and take corrective action or disconnect the above said connection and refund my balance amount with immediate effect.
