For the last 3 days, we have not receiving cable network signals.We have already installed the set of box.We did complain to the Customer Care several times.But all fell in to the deaf ear.When ever I complain, the keep on enquiring the place and issues.This is the high time of tolerable..Hope your earnest seriousness in this case...     Dear sir,
    I am availing Asianet cable conncetion and staying in Naval Base kochi Qtr no ¾.
    There is a frequent dis connection of cable without intimation, al though I have made complaint 4 times within one month, technician visits after some telephone calls and change the set top box and they never change the MAC no in the system.( three times the box changed within a short period) It is very sad to say that service of asianet is poor.

    I request to you look in to this matter and not to re accurance again.

      The incident which happened on 15th dec morning were the asianet morning 9 am news is going on in sports news were they showing video of a EPL match between chelsea and crystal palace were they have shown a video from fifa game instead of the real video.Is that the way they justify there motto "Nerode, Nirbhayam, Nirantharam" I felt so annoyed with that.

        The Asianet HD set top box that I purchased last month (Sept 2013) for Rs 4000/- has only 9 HD channels. 1. NHK, 2. MoviesNow, 3.Mtunes, 4. HD Trace, 5. UTV, 6.Star Sports HD1, 7. Star Sports HD2, 8. History TV and 9. Ten HD. 3, 4 & 5 are uninteresting channels.The resolution of the video (picture clarity) of the non HD channels that is being received in the new HD set top box is 15 to 20% less than that I was previously receiving with the non HD set top box. Also there is no Discovery HD World and National Geographic HD. The service personnel who came to install the HD set top box told me that Asianet is introducing 10 more HD channels by next month. But they have added only 2 channels Star Sports HD1 and HD2. When I tried to call the person who installed the set top box I always get the message that the phone no: is temporarily disconnected. When I called Asianet to know when they are giving the additional HD channels no one has an answer. They collect my mobile no: and tell me that they will call back but no one ever called. (I tried 2 times). I am disappointed. In my opinion it is better to ask for a demo of the new Asianet HD set top box at your home and purchase the same only if you are satisfied with the number and quality of the new HD channels and the clarity of the picture of the non HD channels.One may wait for the purchase until Asianet adds more HD channels especially Discovery HD World, National Geographic HD, Sony HD and Star plus HD that other DTH service providers are giving at almost the same subscription fee (per annum).

        Get DTH HD set top box at Rs.2000, better customer support, more hd channels. Why stick on asianet cables?

        The live CCL match Kerala Strikers vs Veer Marathi its startz at 7.00pm 1st feb 2014 but Asianet Telecast the match at 10 'o' clock .the match not live @ asianet but the channel give massege its live. asianet cheat all viewers of kerala

          I am frequently experiencing signal problem with my digital network .Even though I have registered the complaint, there is no response from the technicians.Always waiting for more than 24 hours to rectify the problem.We can understand if there is any major technical issues, but they have intimate us in time.They are showing total negligence towards customers.It is such a WORST CUSTOMER CARE SYSTEM.

            sir 1st complaint.KA01085133.technician came and changed pin 2nd complaint KA01086038 no lights in STB. resolved .3rd complaintKA01086315 not authorised to view recieved message on10.9.13 at 1.55 called backagain complaint registered again KA01086390 STILL NOT ABLE TO WATCH TV AND NEWS FOR 3 days .               I am a daily viewer of your serial: Amma. It is interesting and very moving. The charactor Chinnu is is very moving and engaging. We love her. She loves even her deadliest enemy when in real trouble.But odds against her is too heavy and we she shed tears. We want to see her triumph. We want to see her smile. Her smile is so innocent. We want to see her regain her lost inheritance. Congratulations! Do carry on.
              Amma is an excellent serial for the whole family.

                Asianet has cut the TEN Channel without any intimation. They have no idea on when they are going to restore it and not Ready for any refund.Asianet should provide compensation to the subscribers if they are not providing it,when contacted the Customer care they told they have no provision for that. Asianet is taking the customers for granted and cheating them after the customers like me pay for an year for these channels.

                I need to get the refund for my modem deposit of Rs.1000/-
                I have cancelled the internet connection and returned the modem on Jan 11th, 2011.

                Made multiple calls to the service desk and also send mails, but there has been no response.

                  I had taken a internet connection from asianet, kochi in Nov 12 and had deposited a security deposit of Rs. 1000. On my transfer from kochi i got the internet disconnected, but could not collect the refund. I had sent some of my kochi friends to collect the same for me but the company reps dont give it to them, instead ask my account no. Instead of me calling n number of times and posting complaints via emails to the company i am unable to get my money back.I have spent around Rs 200 on calls for the same to the company. Please help.

                    I have taken Asianet Coolnet 649 Combo plan on 31/7/2012 which entitles me to 6 + 6 = 12 GB monthly Internet usage for 13 months as I also have Asianet cable connection.
                    However, ever since the beginning Asianet has been billing me extra usage for data over 6 GB. Despite multiple requests calling them and mailing them to correct them, they have not done it and they keep sending me bills for extra usage.
                    They have disconnected my Internet usage 3 times already without any notice and I have to call them up and explain them over again on their billing problem to restore it. It takes anywhere from 1-4 days for them to restore the Internet connection
                    I work as a Project Manager in an IT company and manage a team of 20 team members located in Trivandrum and Australia. I have to send mails and attend calls with customers early in the morning and late in the evening. As a contingency, I am forced to buy and use a Reliance data card for the past 8 months and my monthly bill is at a minimum 500 + taxes every month.
                    I request you to ask Asianet to permanently fix my billing and stop disconnecting my connection. I also request you to ask Asianet Satellite Communications to pay charges for the additional Internet usage which I am forced to take which has already totalled more than 4000 rupees.

                      Since day before yesterday midnight, the internet connection has been disconnected for the majority of kerala (By Asianet Data services) due to salary hike related dispute between Asianet ISP and its staff members. Instead of resolving the issue amicably, the internet service has been purposefully disconnected by the concerned staff to force the management to make a favourable decision. While I personally feel bad for the people who didnt get a raise on time, but also do feel being cheated of my hard-earned money, since I will have to pay for these service disrupted days as well.
                      Moreover, no one in the offices are attending the phones and hence there is no way we can reach-out or enquire as to when this issue will be resolved. Lot of people like me depend heavily on the internet for doing day to day chores.
                      Hope someone gets this message and resolves the issue soon!

                        Like to start a social networking site for reporting all the complains on Asianet services. Please have your comments posted here, if it is a good no, i will open forum.
                        The service is gone poor to worse and their field support is no where near the standard.
                        Having a connection at home, the renewal request was pending with them for days. The customer support lines mostly busy ,if connected never have a solution in terms of field support.
                        As a matter of caution, dont let the support staff to visit you if there are only ladies home! Thei language is at some time, is so below standard, can be humiliating.
                        They would not come to collect the renewal fee for less than an year, and would ask you to directly pay to their office. They can even doubt on the receipts given for the (already)subscribed months and demand you for the privious months.
                        I am switching to other DTH services.

                          I have been conned by asianet!! A month ago purchased set top box and their one year subscription in advance and i was quite satisfied with the services. Yesterday all of a sudden channels like BBC, Star World, Star sports, Travel & Living, Good times, Sony (these are the ones ive noticed so far) have been blanked out with the message 'channel unsubscribed' contact asianet. On contacting their customer care (extremely poor at handling calls) they said they would refresh it and the channels would be back - nothing happened! On calling them up again another guy says that unless the plan is upgraded those channels will not be available. When i told them that these channels were available till the previous day he says it was done as a part of 'promotion'. No such 'promotion' was mentioned when they collected the money. Are we at the mercy of asianet and they will dictate which are the channels we should watch?? Shouldn't we have more competitors?

                            THIS IS TO BRING TO THE ATTENTION OF THE AUTHORITIES OF INDIAN CONSUMER COMPLAINTS THAT THE ABOVE SAID SERIAL SHOWS A SCENE WHERE IN A BUCKET OF WATER THE ELECTRIC CURRENT IS PASSED THROUGH CONDUCTOR AS A TRAP TO KILL A CHILD.

                            I ,AS AN INDIAN CITIZEN, STRONGLY CONDEMN AND OPPOSE SUCH SCENES AS THAT PROMPTS THE GROWING GENERATION TO TAKE REVENGE IN THE WORST WAYS OF SCIENCE, TAKING THE INDIAN SOCIETY TO RUIN.

                              I have subscribed for asianet digital set top box service and had paid for 1 year subscription. In the past 3 months i have changed 4 STBs because of the product damage. Still the problem continues. The new STB that the company recently replaced is not working properly after 3 weeks. I am very much disappointed by this poor service by the local asianet office in ettumanoor. I kindly request the company to take necessary steps to replace my STB with a properly working new one.

                              ASIA NET SERVICE — Poor Service

                              Sir, I am an Asianet subscriber of ID No. DA 00780036 and the Digital Box scheme is provided to me before 6 months back for use of 150 channel by remiting one year payment in advance. There was frequent problem of stuck of picture but the same is being bared with good spirit that the problem would be rectified fast. Meanwhile, I have another experience for which I am deeply distressed. I am not getting the picture in the TV from 24/03/12 morning 9 am. I found that there is some fault in the Digital Box as the red light does'nt appear. I had loged a complaint immediately through customer care Tel. and they promised me that it will be rectified afternoon since the technicians are on the job in the site. Thereafter, several times I had condacted to them on the same No. and and the answer was nothing but same. Apart from that I had condacted the Tel. Nos. 2584493, 2583331 but the bell was ringing without any response. Sir, tomorrow is sunday and I know that no one is expected to attend my compaint nor rectify the problem. Sir, I am not experiencing such irresponsibility from any other service like BSNL or Electricity Board so far though they are Govt. agencies. I had asked the Phone No. of the Director or the General Manager of Asianet to bring the position to their notice but they were relecant to provide this. Sir, is not my legitimate right to avail the facility after making payment in advance. I hope that you will takeup the matter with utmost priority and extend your service to my satisfaction. Thanking You Sir.
                              `very very poor service by Asianet.. Their Ernkaulam office much more worse than even Government offices.. Their official office timing itself is from 10 am. one never can reach them by telephone. either it is always engaged or never answer the calls.
                              every day i have signal problems.. i need to call them and log complaint atleast 2-3 times... if we call them, though we are not able to talk to anyone... the meter start running and we need to pay.. they dont have any toll free numbers...

                                shifting not provided(cheating customers)
                                i have applied for a shift on the month of april 2012, and the asianet team from kariavattom office came and i have applied for the shifting to my old house which is somewhat 100m from the post were there is optical fibre cable comes and they said the connection is not feasible and they said they will give to my new house because it is just 30m away from the post and i said i will call you back when i shift to mu new house that is near to my old house in the same lane and after 6 months i shifted to my new house and i called the asianet office in pangapara and they said there is no optical fibre cable in my lane (THEY ARE TELLING LIES THE OPTICAL FIBRE CABLE IS SITUATED IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE AND THEY SAY THAT THERE IS NO CABLE IN THIS LANE THEY ALSO HAS ONE CONNECTION IN THIS LANE)

                                  i have acomplaint about serials broadcasting in asianet . espcially about amma & shthridanam, these two serials gives a bad cultural activities talking place in house. In sthridanam womens are becoming as a bad charector which gives a bad cultural activities. So iam requsting to remove or make these two serials good, these request is for all malayalieswho is watching serials....

                                  I have changed unlimited plan to limited plan. I exceed the limit in using, we don't get any notice how much we used. I thought like other private network, they stop the service once exceed the usage. Some misunderstanding got bulk amount in bill. After next month requested to change to unlimited plan..They are not taking my request. They are waiting for chance to make me more bill payment. This is worst service in consumer maintenance. If ask why don't receive any notification about usage. They are told me to see the in site. I just thought like bsnl and data card. once we reach the limit, our service will stop..

                                  Better avoid asianet broadband. If you selecting broadband, just select unlimited plan.

                                    Hi,

                                    I have taken asianet cable connection on July 2012 and the connection was for 1year and the amount was pre-paid. From that day on wards I have noticed that after 10 to 15 minutes of power down in the area where the UPS is situated, no signal is received. I have installed inverter for uninterrupted watching of TV.

                                    I have complained about in the Attingal branch, but no actions were still taken. Last time when I called them on 25th Dec 2012, their response were too bad. So for the last 6 months, during the power cut time, nothing can be seen through the cable. Since this is after receiving the total amount, I would like to complaint about this.

                                    Please take necessary actions.

                                      My cable TV connection is down. I called up the customer service 4 times, there is no response. The reason for them not responding is that they have got too many issues with their connection today and technicians seems to be busy. I've been hearing the same thing for a while now. I don't know whether reporting to this forum would help fix the problem. If someone is planning to get Asianet Cable TV service, think once again as there is NO SERVICE.
