I had applied for warranty service extension for 2 years and paid INR 4400/-. Had completed all the formalities long ago on 18 august last month, still no proper reply from them, they are just postponing it, saying the delay is from ASUS company side. Dear Asus Support Team,
I am writing to demand a full replacement of my laptop, purchased on March 31st, 2025. Within 10 days of purchase, I encountered issues with the touchpad’s two-finger and three-finger scrolling. Despite multiple technician visits, resets, driver updates, and hardware replacements, the issue remains unresolved.
Technicians have failed to diagnose whether it is a hardware or software issue and have repeatedly attempted temporary fixes instead of addressing the root problem. Today, yet another technician performed the same software updates and checkups without a definitive solution. I am being repeatedly rotated through unnecessary processes without an actual resolution.
Given this ongoing inconvenience and lack of effective support, I insist on a complete replacement of my laptop with a new unit. Please address this request urgently and provide a permanent solution.
Sincerely,
Swayam

    Dear Asus Team,

I hope this email finds you well, because I am seething with rage after the soul-crushing, year-long nightmare you’ve subjected me to.

I am writing to demand yes, demand—immediate action over the catastrophic failure of my so-called “premium” Asus Zenbook series laptop, a purchase I now consider one of the gravest mistakes of my life. As a 4th-year B.B.A LL.B. student at the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak, I am utterly appalled by Asus India’s shameless negligence, vicious harassment, and contemptuous disregard for its customers. I’ve poured my heart into resolving this—hundreds of desperate calls, meticulously crafted emails, formal complaints stacked high—only to be slapped with dismissal, threats, and insults when I dared mention legal recourse. This isn’t just incompetence; it’s a full-blown assault on decency and consumer rights.

Picture this: June 2024, mid Term -examinations, my Zenbook charger explodes—a deafening, smoking disaster that turned my room into a hazard zone. I could’ve been injured, or worse. I raced to your service agents, heart pounding, expecting swift action from a “premium” brand. What did I get? A masterclass in apathy. For over a year, I’ve clawed my way through your bureaucratic swamp—logging every infuriating call, chasing your spineless team, escalating until my voice cracked—just to claim what’s mine: a safe product and a sliver of respect. Instead, Asus has kicked me down at every step, spitting on my pleas.

Your SQM executives, Stalin Dcruz and [censored]al More, are the rancid cherry on this rotting cake. They’ve sneered at me with such vulgarity and rudeness, it’s as if I’d dialed a scam hotline, not a global tech giant. Their hostility isn’t just unprofessional—it’s a grotesque parody of customer service. And I’m not the lone victim. Attached are chilling accounts from others terrorized by your SQM squad, plus my purchase invoice—irrefutable proof of a festering cancer in Asus India’s core. Hang your heads in shame.

I’m boiling with fury at your refusal to own this mess. I shelled out premium cash for quality, not a ticking time bomb and a year of psychological warfare. I was so disillusioned that I penned a letter to Mr. Michael Dell, singing Dell’s praises for their sterling reliability—a beacon in the dark after your betrayal. I bitterly regret not snagging an XPS instead of trusting your hollow brand. It’s tragic—downright pitiful—how Asus has crumbled into this abyss of mediocrity while Dell soars above. I’m counting the seconds until I rejoin their ranks.

As a law student, I wield India’s consumer protection laws like a sword, and it’s maddening to watch Asus mock them with impunity. If this is the hell a Zenbook buyer endures—explosive defects, thuggish harassment, and a brick wall of indifference—I scream from the rooftops: avoid Asus at all costs. You’ve torched every ounce of trust I had.

Here’s my ultimatum: replace this wretched device, dismantle your toxic SQM crew, and pay for the trauma and peril you’ve inflicted. I’ve gone to Herculean lengths—amassing a dossier of evidence, scouring legal precedents, even pleading my case to Michael Dell—because I will not let Asus slink away from this reckoning. Ignore me again, and I’ll unleash a legal storm you won’t outrun; my training guarantees it. This is no polite ask—it’s your last shot.

If Asus India has a shred of dignity left, you’ll fix this now. I’m done with your cowardice. Deliver a solution, or brace for the fallout.

        Hello,

I recently purchased an ASUS VivoBook laptop on January 16, 2025. The laptop’s original manufacturing date is September 30, 2024, so according to the standard one-year warranty, it is expiring on September 30, 2025. However, it should technically and logically end on January 16, 2026. The responsibility o[censored]pdating and registering the product was supposed to fall on the retailer, but they were careless in handling this. After multiple follow-ups and wasting considerable time, we had to register the product ourselves.

We then attempted to update the warranty status on our end, but on all four occasions, our requests were rejected by the ASUS team. The rejection reason was that the purchase verification had failed due to issues with the information provided. The ASUS team advised us to contact the point of purchase. The retailer subsequently emailed a support address (INVSsupport_IN), but they incorrectly listed the customer name as "Payal Rane, " instead of mine. When I inquired about this, the retailer explained that the request had initially been raised under my name multiple times, which led to rejection, and that they now needed to submit it under a different name.

This situation leaves me uncertain about whether I received a new or refurbished laptop. I had no intention of purchasing a refurbished product. The serial number of my laptop is S7N0CV07V82728D. If this product is indeed refurbished, I will escalate the matter to the highest authority.

Additionally, I request that the ASUS team provide a more detailed explanation for the rejection of my warranty update request, so that I can fully understand the issue.

I would like to confirm whether this laptop was originally purchased by someone named Payal Rane. Please look into this matter at your earliest convenience and let me know if any additional information is required.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Asus TUF A17 Gaming Laptop

            Dear Asus Custo
From the beginning, the laptop has had several problems, including frequent overheating. Despite taking all necessary precautions, the system consistently runs hot, even under moderate use. This overheating issue has not only impacted performance but has also caused discomfort during use.

Recently, the laptop has completely frozen, rendering it unusable. I have tried all recommended troubleshooting steps, including hard resets and attempting to boot into Safe Mode, but the system remains unresponsive. This situation is highly frustrating and unacceptable, especially given the laptop's specifications and intended use for gaming and high-performance tasks.
As a customer who has trusted Asus for reliable and quality devices, this experience has been deeply disappointing.
