I am bibek dutta an axis bank account holder since more than 8 to 10 years holding the account number xxxxx created under nimta branch, birati (Ifsc code - utib0001141).
On saturday 18th of july, my account got frozen with no dedicated reason that i know or aware of from my side.
Curiously, i had a conversation with one of axis bank employee on customer support on (18th july - saturday around 4 pm) she insisted that i should give a letter regarding this whole issue since she's suspecting that due to the fact i have traded cryptocurrency my account is frozen.
As per government orders made on 4th march, 2020 all crypto trade bans has been lifted from india. After supreme court's judgement of lifting ban on crypto trade and currency, renowned companies such as unocoin who provides wallet and trading services of crypto opened in indian market again following the order from supreme court.
On 12th march, 2020 at 3:07am i used unocoin for selling my crypto assets of 0.014 btc for a total sum of ₹8617.65 inr.
Following the day on 13th march, 2020 - 5:48pm, my withdrawal of ₹8617.65 was approved and was credited to my account later.
I have maintained every law and orders from government of india, about cryptocurrency.
So, bringing back the issue in light i would request axis bank to unblock my account xxxxxx and unfreeze it.
I have already gave a letter in my branch and they have received it. I want axis bank to resolve my issue as soon as possible.
