Have opened Demat account with axis bank 3 years where they have promised that no charges.
But right from 1st year they were charging 900+ rupees.
So last year May 2017, I have submit a closure form @ Lakshmi Mills branch, Coimbatore. (To reach out this branch for Demat account related information, even the customer care of Axis have no clue were the Demat account handler is located. Hence I was roaming around 3 branches of Axis in coimbatore and finally after 3 hours they declared Lakshmi mills branch will handle Demat queries)
@ Lakshmi Mills branch I was awaiting for 1.5 hours and after that a Women staff called and collected my form and requested me to give the ID proof. Then no help of taking photo copy @ branch though they have facility. Started going and after 30 mins handled the form for Closure.
After all these efforts, there is no acknowledgement handled to me.
But, This year 2018, May again they charged Rs 900+ as DP charges.
I have send 2 follow up mail to Customercare. (Have enclosed the mail photo.) Funny part is auto reply for the mail says, the customer care will reply in 24 hours. Almost 48 hours gone past, no response.
No option in IVR to choose Demat account in Axis customer care.
Even the Customer care guy says, I need to call up on[protected]. (Somebody call this n check.).
To be very frank. The demat account executive have no work at all. Still they least bother to suck customers Money.
