This is Ravindra from Pune.
I applied for home construction loan with Axis Bank Vyapar Vihar Bilaspur(CG).
This started from 1st March The Home Loan department employee (Anil) took care of collecting all the documents and clarifying what documents are required.Post checking all the docs, he confirmed that loan amount of 8 - 9 Lacs will be disbursed without any issues within 10 - 15 days.Then came the Applicant and Co Applicant verification phase, for which I had submitted all the docs like registered rent agreement, Affadavit, Office Address etc as per standard loan docs norms which Anil also confirmed. In between the address verification phase cheque amt of 5900 on the name (TO CLG SLFUNDS IN TRANSIT) has been debited from account which Anil confirmed is for processing. I was awaiting for loan disbursement and I didn't receive any call back since 10 days. I called back and response was shocking that loan got rejected. I asked for the reason and Anil referred his senior Pradeep Gehani who as per Anil sits in Raipur Branch. Pradeep told me that loan has been rejected and then he never received my call. The reason provided by Praveen and Anil for rejection was that during Office address verification I was not in office, which is completely false. If I was not in office then they should call me or confirm the office docs that I had shared instead of rejecting.
When I saw nothing was working for me then I again called Anil afetr 7 days and asked for customer rejection copy which he confirmed will be delivered to my address but I haven't received yet(70 days till date). I decided to call Axis Bank Vyapar Vihar website number. A person named Shirjit Singh(Vyapar Vihar Manager) received the call and assured me that they had started to reprocess the application on 1st week of April and again its 40 days no update yet.
At last I asked to refund the processing fee cheque amount and that has been refused also.
The Loan details are Application ID - 7885519, Bar Code - [protected].
As you see, this is a horrible experience.
At least, I would never say that. You can see that they have given false information on the eligibility, collected the documents,
taken the processing fee and then reverted back saying that you are not in office during verification phase. Till date, they have not returned the documents or the amount.
AXIS Bank has cheated in this respect and has made some money out of this.
Hence I request to look into this asap and take necessary actions.
