Hi,
I have two accounts with two different customer IDs in Axis Bank.
My active account been blocked for any transactions.
I have submitted the merge request and it's failed as the account types are different - Salary and Savings (Zero balance)
I tried to close the inactive account and they told it can't be done for Zero balance account.
At the same time, I'm ready to close the active account, but I didn't get any help as only particular branch guys can unlock it.
I been trying to resolve the issue for last 3 months by submitting my consent to merge the IDs, merge request submitted with documents, multiple visits to the nearest branch, multiple discussions with the customer care and branch staff, etc.
None of these worked out.
I have Axis ELSS SIPs and the amount for these mutual funds will be automatically debited on every 10th and 15th of the month.
Now as the active account is blocked for the transactions, SIP amount can't be debited and funds will be cancelled which will lead to many complications.
So, please kindly unblock my account. I am ready to close any of the bank accounts.
Axis Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
