    Sadashivnagar Axis Bank branch took joint account request in Feb2022, gave multiple false updates in WA claiming the account is open. Not official email or correspondence given despite multiple requests.

    no issues with paperwork cited. Individual NRE/NRO accounts opened but took 3 months.

        Recovery agents

        I have a AXIS Bank Credit card no[protected], as i am with out a job from last four months i am unable to make the payment, the recovery agents keep on calling and threathing me, in the past months i had even to sell my marriage gold ring to clear the dues, but now also even after requesting them they are continously harassing me, so please help. I am getting calls continously from this number[protected]....

        I do not have an account with Axis Bank. I was trying to start a fixed deposit online, with Axis Bank, using the following link:

        The problem is, I entered my PAN and Aadhar Details and payment of INR 50, 000 was done through Canara Bank Internet Banking. After successful payment, I was redirected to Video KYC, which did not work because o[censored]navailability of VKYC agents and the link stopped working after that. Now the phone number linked with my aadhaar (and hence the FD) does not belong to me (It is my father's number), so every time I click on the link, the OTP goes to that number and after entering the OTP, the link does not work. So basically I do not know the status of my money and FD AT ALL. I tried reaching customer care by phone and they refused to help and asked me to visit the nearest branch. When I visited the nearest branch, everyone seemed to be unaware of such Video KYC for FD (For Non-customers). On their website, one cannot lodge a complaint because they allow only customers who email id is registered with them. When I mailed at email.[protected]@axisbank.com, they are not even reading my mail and giving me generic responses. Now I am stuck, and I have no way to get the details of my FD or my money. Following are the details which I can share:

          Hi Sir,

          As per discussion with axis bank customer care executive 3 month ago, I have to pay my credit card payment of 150000/- with 2.5% processing fees in 10 different installments. There are no hidden charges on the same.

          So the processing fee will come around 3750/- and the pending amount is 150000/- so total 153750/-.. This will be the final amount which I have to pay.

          They will provide me the payment letter and schedule after 2 month EMI payment. So i paid the 3 EMI as mentioned below as per confirmation by executive on whats app chat and phone call.

          I have already paid 3 EMI as mentioned below
          6-Mar-22 21050/-
          11-Apr-22 18700/-
          11-May-22 18740/-

          So till now I have paid 58690/- amount. They i asked them to provide me the letter so that as per payment schedule i will pay furthur amount.

          But once i paid and i mail them for the letter they are not providing the same, And now i am getting calls from axis bank to pay 1.5 Lakh same amount because all the payments i have made has been deducted in interest charges of the credit card, even my Credit card is block from last 4 month.

          I mail this miscommunication and payment fraud with Axis bank PNO and Nodal officer but still there is no response.

            I am referring to a letter of Nabapally Branch 021 dated April 27th 2022 addressed to a dead man (customer) and which was received by me as a joint account holder after 53 days.
            A/c no [protected] in the name of Arup Kumar Ghosh (brother) since deceased on 20/04/2022 and me Jolly Sircar under EITHER or SURVIVOR mandate.
            The balance is perhaps less than fifty or nil. and was requested to close the account as it was no more required and the request was from the SURVIVOR of the said account. Kindly note that the account was not under joint operation.
            The strangest and most surprising thing that could happen under official ethical practice is the entire set of papers sent to Branch Manager Nabapally 021, returned to me including the envelope and a set of forms enclosed asking for additional information under “settlement of the deceased account.”
            The following papers were returned to us: - My application requesting closure of the said account, unused chequebook, and death registration certificate duly attested by Gazetted Officer and the envelope.
            Now let me reason out how things have been made complicated from a simpler request, and I regret to state that the Branch official could not grasp the content of my letter.
            1. Whose KYC is being asked for? the deceased customer’s Adhaar was seized at the time of issuance of the Death Registration Certificate, so submitting the same would tantamount to the submission of fake documents. Although Adar no mentioned in Death Registration Cert. 0773.
            2. As a survivor my KYC that is complete in all respect refer to account no [protected] held with Baguiati Branch 026.
            3. When the reason mentioned for closing the account by the survivor is the Death of the other holder, why ask for “Reason of Closure of Account” again which is supported by the death registration certificate.
            4. Why ask for confirmation of Transaction post-death under SURVIVOR Clause, I think as per Banking Practice, Survivor becomes the sole account holder with the option to continue or close the account.
            5. Is there any RBI mandate that the survivor of an account has to visit the branch personally just to close the account. When fewer branch visits are requested due to the situation of the pandemic more so being a senior citizen, is my letter of request not requisite or not understood?
            6. I did visit the nearest Branch that is just opposite to my registered address, Airport Branch Kolkata 410, before leaving for outstation but had the most horrifying experience from the dealing person. He was very impolite and asked me to go to the parent Branch and even if the closure is processed, I still have to visit Nabapally to collect the Draft. He threw back the unused chequebook without even checking the system if any balance exists or not. I experienced a PSU bank kind of dealing with customers.

We have mailed you with the proper annexure for deceased claim settlement along with the requirement of survivor self attested KYC for the further proceed and even we have informed you to submit all the require documents to the nearest branch as death claim can be processed by any Axis Bank Branch.                   Still I am getting unwanted calls from Axis Bank and the behaviour of the call centre person is not good.

                  I got a call from ranigunj bank today from [protected] and she is very rude while talking.

                  Plz take proper action and confirm. It was escalated many times but no use. Attached the screenshot for your reference.

                      No Due Certificate Not Received for Credit Card

                      Hi,

                      This is Lakshman from Chennai, India. I have an Axis Bank credit card for which i have paid the total amount including penalties and interest on the 3rd of March, 2022 for Rs. 55, 700.

                      It's been almost three months and I have still not received the NO DUE CERTIFICATE. Also, it shows written off on my CIBIL inspite of me paying the entirety of the amount, request you to remove the written off as well.br...

                        Employee of Axis Bank called me again and again to apply for education loan and when I applied for one then after wasting my 15 days of processing they cancelled my loan.
                        The guy named Mr Purshottam is one of the careless employee i ver seen. Really disappointed, i had 3 accounts in Axis Bank but now I m gonna quit all these accounts. 👎👎👎

                          MY CURRENT ACCOUNT WAS OPENED UNDER SCHEME CA-CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT with no any Bank Charges since Year 2010. NOW the Bank Software Automatically Changed the Product to CA-NORMAL i.e. Normal Current Account, due to this bank charges were debited to my account since 01/04/2022, Current Account Number [protected]. Kindly Change the Product Scheme to CA-CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT and Reverse the charges debited with GST. I already Raised Complaint with AXIS Bank Portal but replying with another issue that we had not detail bifurcation of charges so reach us after 24 hours.

                                This is S Janhavi (Customer ID:[protected]. And I had an account in axis bank branch (IFSC code - UTIB0000065). Last year, December 2021 we decided to close the account and at that time all the cards were destroyed including debit, credit cards and there were no mention of outstanding balance as such even after enquiring seperately.

                                Yet we started receiving email saying there is an outstanding balance and needs to be paid.

                                Since then we have approached the bank thrice regarding the same issue but they were unable to resolve it and were not able to give us the credit card details too as it was destroyed by the employee there, and still we don't know the credit card number in its entirety.

                                They gave us a customer care number to talk to and get it resolved there. The number given by the branch office to contact was [protected]
                                The initial call was on 5th March 2022 at 4.44PM, Agent - Mohammad Usman from Retention desk
                                He offered to cancel the card after paying the minimum amount of 150/- or so and providing with life time card with no charges
                                But that was not done

                                Next call was on 9th April 2022 at 5:39PM, Agent - Akash M
                                He responded that there are no active card linked to registered phone number and the card is terminated and there is no pending due to be paid.

                                The credit card due balance was less when this issue started but due to lack of information and resolution from the branch office as well as misinformation by customer care executive it has been multiple by 6 times.

                                We contacted nodal.[protected]@axisbank.com too via mail regarding the same. It's been week and got a message saying the card is cancelled, yet again I recieved the same mail saying there is an outstanding balance to be paid now.

                                Please help us out with this and resolve the issue.

                                  Hi Axis team,

                                  I made a GPAY transaction on 11/06/20222 from my mobile no : xxxxxxx248(linked to SBI account) to beneficiary mobile no:xxxxxxx912(Linked to ICICI account).

                                  Beneficiary Mobile number is linked to ICICI account No:XXXXXXXX5344. GPAY is showing the transaction is completed & SETTLED. Image is highlighted as shown below

                                  This ICICI bank account is inactive from 27/01/2022. So the transaction should have been failed & money should have been returned. But transaction completed & payment not received by the beneficiary due to inactive account. We have cross verified & checked with the beneficiary bank(ICICI) that amount is not received & the account is still inactive.

                                  But when we checked with my bank SBI as per the direction from GPAY, that money was transferred to an AXIS bank account no: [protected] with IFSC Code: UTIB0000000.

                                  We need axis bank intervention to resolve this issue.

                                  Can someone with similar experience help on this issue.

                                    I have visited the main branch in malkajgiri Hyderabad they are not aware as to how to close a NRI account. They told they will get back by end of the day but until today i haven't got a call from them.
                                    I have to open a salary account and i am not able to open because of this NRI account.
                                    Is this the service provided by Axis to their customers.
                                    So much of inconvenience.
