Be Aware of AXIS bank CREDIT CARD Trap/Fraud. - You will be charged late payment fine almost every month despite paying bill on time every time. - You will be charged annual fees without your consent, even if you do not want to continue with the card. My story of harassment & inconvenience follows: An axis bank Credit card has been given to me as part of my Salary A/c in the same bank. But I haven going through the hell for last one year because of the same. Every month, I dropped the cheque (AXis bank cheque) due for my card, at-least one week in advance in one of the branch, but when I enquired about the status of the payment, the customer care executive will say that " we have not received your cheque, you have to pay the late payment fine." Sometimes they will say that number is written incorrectly, but to utter surprise, the same cheque gets cleared without any hassle after two days. So, finally they earn the fine money as well as the amount due without any problem. This has been happening for last 4/5 months consecutively. By observing these trends, This month I tried to clear my dues by cash payment (Amount 3720.00), for which they charge Rs50 extra, and the cheque got cleared the very next day. In fact, I paid twice the amount due to avoid the late payment. So my credit card has now has a credit of Rs3700 for the month of OCT . Then their strategy gets murkier, they charged an annual fee of Rs 500 + service tax, without my consent. Then I called the Axis bank customer care for a fee reversal as I do not want to continue the service of the card because of the inconvenience I'm facing each and every month. But these customer care people blunt in saying, you can cancel the card but we will not refund the annual fee. Moreover the Axis bank customer care people very unprofessional and totally non-committal while dealing with the customers. So, I want to bring this to the notice of maximum people, so that they should not get into this kind of trap by taking Axis bank credit card. While giving these cards, they will apply all tricks to push the credit card despite your consistent refusal but once you started using the card, their strategy changes to drain your pocket in every possible way.     I have not used my account for 6 months(not maintained 10, 000rs), i had negetive balance of 2250rs for that when i checked with nearest branch kalyan nagar, stupid VP manager promised for reversal of negative balance if i start using my account & maintain the minimum balance, I have funded my account with 12500 rs. On 9th Oct I have recieved msg saying my account is closed & my debit card deactivated. I rushed to branch on the week end to meet the stupid VP manager Axis bank, his explaination --> your account base branch MG road and I cant do anything he washed his hand. I have cald MG Road branch there explaination --> why my account is closed and card has been blocked without intimation? Ans: Mumbai Head office is closing the account if your not using the account for 6 months ( But RBI rule is to close the account if your not using for the period 2years). Then why did you deducted the negative balance 2250 rs? Ans: Sir, you have not maintained the minimum balance 10000rs. OK you have deducted my money and why did you closed my account? Ans: Mumbai Head office is closing the account if your not using the account for 6 months ( But RBI rule is to close the account if your not using for the period 2years).

Subject : Debited Amount from My Salary Account No : [protected] Dear Sir, I would like to inform you there is undesired amount 1188 Rs deducted from my account without any intimation by letter or Call. When I enquire I come to know this amount deducted for AXIX bank credit card due. But I would like to ask your bank if your bank deducting any amount from our account they should ask us or intimate to us. How your bank deducting money from our account? Is your bank haven’t any responsibility of our money??? Actually I don’t know any due in your credit card since I didnt buy any thing from last May-2013. So, I enquire in customer care credit card department they told me there is card renewal fee only 100 Rs and its I did not pay because I didn’t have any credit card statement and I am sleep in mind I didn’t purchase any thing so no bill and I did not check my e-mail. From you customer department they told me we have send soft copy but that mail come in my spam box so, I didn’t check. Now, with interest and other charges amount become 1188/- Rs. I have salary account in favor of SAFEX ELECTROMECH PVT LTD since last 3 years and still now I have paid all amount in credit card whenever I spend you can check past history. Axix bank representative was come our office and insist us to use your credit card service. So I take your credit card on that time they inform us it free of cost no any annual charges or Hidden Fees. If your annual charges 1188 Rs then Axix Bank should write in your registration form and Credit card sales executive should inform us on during sell us. I am very unsatisfied with AXIX BANK service and didn’t expect such services. now, onward I will not keep any amount in my account. This is not question of small amount but is security of money????? Is our money safe in your bank???? If you understand the customer value then revert back my money and continue with your credit card. I have no any intension to cheat your bank. I hope you understand value of customer and business and do in my favor. We have also offer from KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK and HDFC BANK with prompt and easy service. Its near to our office and provide better option and services. I recommended to our account department transfer all salary account to another bank within 2 month. Ultimately its loss of AXIX BANK we have more than 75 no of salary account. This kind of hidden charges will be lose existing customers and loss of business!!!.         I did a transaction of rs 4000 from axis bank atm, sector 18, noida, transaction no 4527, from my card no [protected], at 10:21 hrs, atm transaction got declined, no money was disbursed by atm but money got deducted from my nre account, after one month of follow up with bank, bank today refused to refund the money, tried to register a complaint in police but they also denied to file a complaint, pls help.

          I received my Axis bank welcome kit within six days of account opening but its being 22 days i did not received my pin number. I also went bank to regenerate my pin via online pin generation system of axis bank but they were not able to generate in my case. Now they are asking to wait one more week to get atm pin so that finally i have to wait 1 month for my pin ( even not sure ).               Hi,

              I took a personal loan from axis bank before two months and the loan a/c no is PPR[protected]. Based on the personal loan, a zero balance account (a/c no : 91301xx[protected] was created for me. The account got activated before a month and it was notified by the person in axis bank that from second emi the amount will be getting debited from that zero balance account instead of my ecs cheques.

              The EMI pay by date for me is 5th of every month and the emi amount is 3975/-. The axis bank personnel called me by 3rd Sep 2013 and informed me that the emi will be debited only from the Zero balance account created. So on 4th Sep 2013, I credited the zero balance account with a sum of 4000/- for the emi amount.

              As soon as I credited the amount, there was a debit of 169/- rs from the zero balance account which was not notified to me. No one from the axis bank informed me that there will be debit card charges and how much the charge will be. Without any notification the bank debited the debit card charge from my account which made a shortage for personal loan amount.

              The EMI got bounced since there was a shortage of 144/- rs in the account. When I logged in personal banking it was showing me that a lien amount of 3975 in the account. By 15th of Sept, I had a call from axis bank loan dept stating the EMI got bounced and they asked me to credit the amount along with a penalty of 560 rs which is a total of 4535/- and once credited it will be automatically taken from the account. I credit the amount into the zero balance account but till 20th there was no debit for emi in my account. I called the customer care and by that time they said I have to manually pay the emi amount by visiting the Axis bank Asset center. So I did that as mentioned by them with the penalty.

              Now, I was trying to transfer one of my loan to HDFC bank and it got rejected mentioning there was a EMI bounce in CIBIL for me.

              Due to the Axis Bank mistake, I am suffering from CIBIL problem. If there was a notification provided to me when the time of applying loan or opening the zero balance account regarding the Debit card charges, I would have made the required charges available in the account. Since there was no notification, how the customer will know about these. If its a normal SB account we will be holding some money in it. Since its a Zero balance account, there is no rule that we need to have money always in that account and also they did not mention anything about the debit card charges too.

              Because of Axis Bank mistake, I have paid a penalty of 560 rs for EMI bounce and now facing CIBIL problem. I need a proper explantion from Axis bank over this issue and I also require axis bank to clear out my CIBIL problem. Till now I have not had any EMI bounce in any of the personal loans I have currently.

                Dear sir, Almost one week ago i applied for changing my net secure mob no. Went to axis bank ujjain mp teliwada chouraha branch. They give me a form to fill and promised that within 2 days it will be updated but today at 4/10/13 its one week passed but its not updated in between i also called in branch to know the status but didnt get satisfactory answer. I have to pay credit card bill but they are delaying it too much now kindly do the solution please.

                  Dear Team, I am an UTI customer holding A/c in Axis Bank account, i was suppose to maintain 5000, this was update from bank when I visited bank last time, but i was continuously charged for (for blind reason) and my amount went down below 5000, they started charging penalty for not maintaining my account, when i went to nearest branch in Porur Chennai. They have made their minimum amount to maintain on the account was 10000, where i dint get any call/mail/postal from branch about the information. There is no use on visiting the nearest branch, they repeatedly says it has to be done on home branch. I am planning to close my account If I am not getting any waveoff for the amount which has been taken by AXIS BANK. 1. There is no intimation on increase in minimum balance. (i have mailid and phone number registered) No mails. 2. IF axis bank is taking maintainance charge from my minimum deposit, there should be any intimation through mail. No such mail received. Porur axis bank has simply given me a closure form for account closing, they are least bothered about the customers. They don't understand customers feeling.                     This is regarding the consolidated a/c charges that Axis bank deducts every third month on my savings account. I don't know why is this bank charging for consolidation that too on a savings account, I tried getting on customer care but it was of no good !! They themselves don't know why this has been deducted.

                      From last few months parking problem observed at axis bank Godhra.Personnaly told to axis bank employee but they are not agree to solve the complain so I have given written application with my address and cell no to Mr.Sanghvi (executives)as branch manager was out of station.On 21.09.2013 I met to branch manager and executives but they told that we are unable to solve this problem.I have asked to give in written but they do'n't want to give in written.Parking space is enough almost same as other cities branch.Please look into the matter and do needful.

Dear Sir/Madam I beg to state that my name is Devesh Kumar & A/C No.[protected] Regarding this account, this a/c. is opened on Zero balance in 2007 behalf of Aviva Life Insurance company so that you should have to inform me before apply any further term & condition but you did not do such and you deducted of Rs.750/- on the date of[protected]. And other matter is this my LIC OF INDIA commission is coming in same account and the LIC OF INDIA agent bank is in Axis Bank so kindly convert this account in behalf of LIC OF INDIA and refund my money as soon as possible because If you have not to return my money so I shall have to get action against you and aviva life insurance company also.                               Hello sir applied for credit card in last month,i received a text message on 28/09/2013 ,we send your credit card so it will reach shortly.
                              Last days i received pin number for that credit card but till now credit is not reached.it is almost one month ,so please go through this as early as possible.

                                    I have entered money Rs.7400 from citi union bank ATM (19/6/2013), Kanchipuram . but i got money from ATM only Rs.5000. Remaining Rs.2400 i did not get. I already compalained this issue the same date. but till now i did not get any response and my money also. This is very worst process. Now this three month completed, there is no solution. I already visited 5 times directly . When i make a call to kanchipuram axis bank branch office, that time only responds to me, but there is no resolving activity regarding my complaint. kindly arrange my different Amount Rs.2400.                                       My Debit Card against my saving account no. 70054 with Kakurgachi Branch, Kolkata got expired in August'13. Whenever I tried to call the Branch there is no one to receive the calls. The branch has got 5 nos. out of which 1 No.[protected] is always hanged up/engaged even after banking hours & the other 4 nos.[protected],03,04,05) never responds. Than after my repeated mail to the Nodal Officer & Head Office the same was delivered on 15.09.13 that also without PIN. The card alongwith the PIN should be replaced atleast 15 days before the expiry of the old card, so that customer don't face any problem in transactions, but the bank failed to do so, due to which I suffered combined losses of Rs. 50000/- beside mental harrasment. Today also I called up the branch bu they failed to respond. Hence, kindly help me to recover my losses beside compensation for harraasment.

                                      The PIN was delivered to me but the bank have charged me for the issuance of duplicate PIN. How can the bank charge me when the fault was from their side.
