Dear sir,
Please find attached, my policy details for cancellation.
I have joined smart insurance plan 111 policy number[protected] on 28th september 2012. Because of my financial constraint, i could not continue paying my policy premium. As per the advise from the agent, i would like to discontinue my policy and requesting for the reimbursement of rs. 100, 000/ which i have paid as initial payment.

Greetings!!

This is in reference with the policy number [protected]

We request you to please find the below clause for the said policy for your reference:

Premium discontinuance :

If the policyholder is unable to pay his/her regular premium before the expiry of the grace period then a notice shall be sent to the policyholder within fifteen (15) days after the expiry of the grace period. The policyholder will be required to choose one of the following options within 30 days of the receipt of such notice:

(I) pay all due regular premiums and keep the policy in force or

(Ii) convert to discontinued policy without any risk cover.

· if the policyholder opts to discontinue the policy or we do not get any response in writing from the policyholder within the stipulated period of 30 days from the date of receipt of such notice*, the policy shall be converted to discontinued policy and all the risk cover shall cease with immediate effect.

*notice shall be deemed served to the policyholder on the 7th (Seventh) day of posting, hand delivery, facsimile or e-mail being sent to the policyholder’s address or immediately upon actual receipt, whichever is earlier.

· till the discontinuance action is taken, the policy shall continue with full risk cover including the covers under all riders, if any, levying all appropriate charges.

    This is an irony, while our pm modi talks about 'new india', the fellows at bajaj allianz taking the digital india back to stone era.

    Hats off to bajaj allianze.
    Specially - amit chaudhary (Delhi service) & his third party goo[censored]p (Rajeev single)

    This was my biggest mistake to shift my vehicle insurance policy from reliance general insurance to bajaj.

    On 1st september, while going to office, i was behind a delhi roadways bus (Green bus) - suddenly, god know, bus driver has jammed that bus running from 30kmph to 0 within a second.
    My car hit the commercial tempo behind the bus and then another car rammed me from behind. My car got sandwich in between the two.

    I registered my claim & pushed my car to service garage (Prestige @ faridabad).

    Its been 7 days over, still i have not recd the full clearance to start the repair activity of my vehicle.
    Service person / case handler - told me that he is waiting for some initial picture (Before accident) from bajaj allianz company, that he not getting in 7 days span.

    Pain :
    1) asking me about the make of vehicle hot me from behind.- is it really mater & how you expect a person to notice which make of vehicle hit me.- as person would be mental disturb condition.

    2) asking to log a fir / submit a affidavit for the accident : no one has told me this thing while taking policy,

    3) irony, customer care tell - my query will take 24- 48 hr to reply.- mean another 2 days.

    These fellows are still living in stone era - 7 -10 days look like their wake up time.

    As i am a service person, struggling in bus & autos, but what hurt is, the delay in decision in approval.
    Is their any lead time decided for it internally.

    Be ready for the court notice in this aspect - as i have logged a pil & case to repay the 10 days allowance - that i am suffering because of the no-response from the bajaj allianz.
    I think ; you people forgot - your salaries are coming from the insurance, that we are paying to you.

      Gentlemen,

      I am writing on behalf of my son faris a. Siddhik, holder of policy no. [protected] issued by bajaj allianz branch addressed at 1st floor np tower, near kerala varma college junction, thrissur, kerala, unfortunately this address is not existing and after a long search i managed to find their office near to amala hospital, far away from the printed address.

      I have visited their office near to amala hospital yesterday[protected] to pay premium due on[protected] and on query about surrender the staff asked to bring the bank passbook and original policy so that they can arrange surrender of policy and the payment. But today after waiting for more than 2 hours in your thrissur branch office i got the funny piece of information as below:

      As i reminded about surrender of the policy the reply made me to think twice before paying the premium due. The manager, a lady told that not to pay the premium due this month then the policy will get lapsed and you will get some money back. If you request for surrender of policy, you are not going to get any money back.

      I would like to know whether they are planning to wind up operations of bajaj allianz insurance. From the words of your thrissur branch staff i felt that they are indirectly giving me the information. Or may i presume bajaj allianz is not paying their salaries. Anyway that is not my problem.

      My problem is that how i can get back the premium i have paid for the last 3 years? The amount reaches to 18755 x 3 = rs. 56265.00. Is it necessary to go to consumer court for this purpose?

          travel insurance — nominee scam

          I have renewed the policy for another 120 days recently. But the guy who responded to my request on chat window on their website has put his name as a nominee for my policy. I don't understand why they did that. It might be a scam too.

          I tried to get hold of their customer care by sending emails but no one responded to me yet.

          Is it a trustable insurance company? Somehow i started doubting them....

          Incident took place in december 2016.
          Since then i have sent whatever info/details asked for.
          Now they are offering only 50% despite the fact that the policy holder has full insurance, they are saying it was a pre-existing condition, which it was not as well as the fact that even if it was pre-existing, the policy terms and conditions state that the insurance company is still expected to pay the full claim.

          I wish to draw your attention to various facts.

          1. Kamya sud has full travel insurance.

          2. She has no pre-existing disease.
          As you know that uti is not a pre-existing condition.
          Even pcod is not a disease, it is a common health problem affecting 5-10% of the female child bearing age population. Please see below.

          What is polycystic ovary syndrome (Pcos)?
          Polycystic ovary syndrome (Pcos), also known as polycystic ovarian syndrome, is a common health problem caused by an imbalance of reproductive hormones. The hormonal imbalance creates problems in the ovaries. The ovaries make the egg that is released each month as part of a healthy menstrual cycle. With pcos, the egg may not develop as it should or it may not be released during ovulation as it should be.
          Pcos can cause missed or irregular menstrual periods. Irregular periods can lead to:
          Infertility (Inability to get pregnant).in fact, pcos is one of the most common causes of female infertility.
          Development of cysts (Small fluid-filled sacs) in the ovaries
          Who gets pcos?
          Between 5% and 10% of women of childbearing age (Between 15 and 44) have pcos.1 most often, women find out they have pcos in their 20s and 30s, when they have problems getting pregnant and see their doctor. But pcos can happen at any age after puberty.
          There is no cure for pcos, but you can manage the symptoms of pcos. You and your doctor will work on a treatment plan based on your symptoms, your plans for children, and your risk for long-term health problems such as diabetes and heart disease. Many women will need a combination of treatments, including:
          Steps you can take at home to help relieve your symptoms
          Medicines

          3. She was misdiagnosed with pcod before she left india in august 2016. She did not take the yanci that was prescribed and instead had an iud inserted in november 2016. Details of which have already been sent to you.

          4. You are fraudulently only quoting part of the terms and conditions of the policy. You are deliberately trying to mislead and misrepresent to a client which is illegal and tantamount to fraud.

          "in consideration of the payment of additional premium, it is hereby agreed and declared that section 2 “medical expenses & medical evacuation” of the travel prime student plan is extended to cover the medical and related expenses incurred by the insured in a hospital outside india for medical treatment of pre-existing illnesses provided the hospitalization has occurred during the policy period and provided that maximum liability of the company will be limited to the amount specified in the schedule under the optional cover pre-existing illness coverage.in consequence where of exclusion appearing as below in the travel prime student plan document:
          The company shall be under no liability to make payment hereunder in respect of any claim directly or indirectly caused by, based on, arising out of or howsoever attributable to:
          “any medical condition or complication arising from it which existed before the commencement of the policy period, or for which care, treatment or advice was sought, recommended by or received from a physician” stands deleted"

          You have conveniently left out the key fact that it stands deleted.

          So even if this was a pre-existing condition, you are bound to pay the claim in full as per your terms and conditions.
          Items #2 and #3 proves that anyway it was not a pre-existing condition.

          5. Please note that offering the client 50% of the claim, saying that you are giving the client "benefit of the doubt" when she is entitled to the full claim is completely unjustified and i will take up this matter with both the consumer courts and the ombudsman and take this further with all the directors of the company as well as the stock exchange, sebi and the economic times as proof of the unethical behavior of your company. If this matter is not cleared within 7 days from the date of this mail.

          Looking forward to a speedy resolution of this matter.

          I was also cheated by Bajaj Allianz Insurance company for overseas medical insurance claim. I am still fighting with these guys from 4 months. Need to spread the word in social media that one should not buy travel insurance from this company especially when travelling abroad.

          Reference No.: BA - 1254 :- Sorry, i have lost complete trust of getting a proper, fair and logical response from that generic ID [protected]@bajajallianz.co.in . The customer service agents there always copy paste some standard response without reading emails completely. I have asked to provide Grievance Redressal Officer's email address and they have not provided since one month.

          See the mail ids of Grievance Redressal Officers of all insurance companies. Your company's GRO's ( Rita franco ) email ID is not working and all emails sent there bounce back.
          Thanks Kamya and Nagesh for the clarification. After reading the comments and reviews here, I will not buy any travel insurance from Bajaj Allianz. I was planning to buy the same for my entire family for a travel to Australia/NZ. Now I will buy from a local travel insurance company.

                    I don't have o-pin then how i will change my address in online. If click forgot o-pin it states it will mail to your address. Then in this case how to change address in online. Service is very bad.

                    Their should be negative marking for this company i could give. From past five year paying payment monthly rs 1500, paid 91500, return is rs 83030.in document given after 4yrs no penalty however they will pay my principle amount with approximate 8 - 9% but i am not getting my principle amount.

                      Hi,

                      I am writing this email against a query of my life insurance policy. The policy name is super cashgain silver and the policy number [protected]. As per the policy, this year i was supposed to get money back and neft payment was done from your end to my hdfc account as per the record. But unfortunately, my hdfc account has been closed, as i was not using it from past few years. Hence, i visited the nearby bajaj office on 17-july-2017 and updated my bank details to the existing one (Syndicate bank).

                      I visited your office again on 31-july-2017 to know the status of query and got to know that the query was closed without even completing it. I did ask them to reopen the query number 68014208, recovery against wrong neft payout. Now it's been more than a month and still i have not received my money. Few weeks back received a call from finance team saying that this will be solved with in few days. But, everytime when i call up customer care, they say it's been escalated and it will take a week to process.

                      I kindly request you to look after this issue and do the needful asap. Can you please let me know when can i get my money back!

                        Dear sir/madam
                        With reference to above i harminder kaur has my insurance from your firm. On date[protected] i came from ludhiana and on way to firozpur a dog came in front of my car. I slow down my car at same time swift car hit me from back side. On 22-08-17 i approach to your surveyor sh. Gaurav sharma
                        Regarding the accident. He rang me on 30.08.17 and told me that the repair is going on. When i enquire from him regarding repair, he told me the claim issued to you only from back side. He did't take permission nor told me regarding the repair while he told the mechanic for repair without any discussion with men. When i asked him for the front side claim, he totally refused and asked me that we give claim for one side, while my insurance covered under dip to dip policy. When i asked him whether he read the claim form he said he did't receive yet. My query is when he did't receive the claim form how he will decide the claim first, second when i rang him he totally misbehave with me being a lady and then my husband sh. Jagjit singh gone to his office he misbehaved with him too and asked i will give you only this claim only. Please look in to the matter so that i can get my claim properly or otherwise i will go to consumer court to get my right.

                          I have done online payment of my motor insurance policy on 22/08/2017, but i have not received hard or soft copy of my policy after lot of complains to your customer care. I got no. Of my policy which is og[protected]-00046370.

                          Again i am requesting you to please send me the soft copy of policy to my mail id asap as my existing policy is expired and i m not able to drive my vehicle without policy.

                            Worst company, poor service, silly reasons, no responsibility after taking the policy.

                            I took policy more than 1 month back.. Till date i didn't receive the hard copies of the same. Everytime, they are saying "i will get the document within 15 days, since they are using firstflight courier.. Till date no one contacted from bajaj allianz or firstflight courier about for undelivered reasons

                              I have made the premium payment as per proposal number 72894972 on 7th august 2017 for product 4014 - my home insurance - all risk policy. The total premium amount is rs. 3769 (Receipt available).
                              Bajajallianz has not provided the policy till date (30th aug 2017) even after follow ups. They are not responding to mails regarding refund of the payment amount.

                                I don't know how to even write sir/madam when your staff is not even know how to talk to clients and handle. With due respect i would love to bring to your notice that surveyor mr. Praveen kumar verma mobile no.[protected] thinks, he is paying for all the damages and terms covered in policy. Please make him clear that we have made our policy deal with bajaj|allianz not with him. I made claim for damages fine its his duty to survey the vehicle and pass the claim according, no issue but there should be the last process pass the claim i mean whyyy are you doing this with coustomers coustomer is not fool it just he dosen't even consider his time worth wasting on getting what he was promised to get i would have also done the same and even i did in my last claim its second time i registered for claim i was ready for same treatment but thisss time literally it seemed i was joked!!! I had several damages i am well aware some might be comsider some not and my damages we not like hard to understand disgest there was a very little black line on my car side mirror which i mentioned in the claim not even expecting that i'll get anything for this and wow knew what happend to me last time this time i made a call in advance, on the day of inspection, the next day mr. Praveen asked me how these damages took place he listend whole incident 4 to 5 times and was just simply wasting my time and i don't know whyy he could not see the bumper hits, car door hit and rear bumper hits he passed the claim for the side mirror👏👏👏 wow my car is standing workshop for past 3 days and would take another 2 days for this massive repair is he going to pay my worth of time i wasted and what i sufferd without my car. I am literally shocked pass or don't pass plzz dont make the coustomer feel he is being joked and there should be a rule to tell the coustomer the reasons due to which he could not get what he was promised to get and why his claims are not considered. We all coustomer can understand if we are made to, leaving us with lack of information and such stuff is what make coustomer take such or bigger step towards company. We can afford to get a car then we can afford its repairs tooo then why making us feel that were joked or "aahsan" is being done on us. Nothing would have made me write this but the feeling that i have been joked by some praveen.

                                  It's been almost 2 weeks that my car is being at hyundai distributorship due to claims being pending.

                                  My policy no. Is hbz/11382622

                                  Some confusion has been there regarding the same.

                                  As i have a car on my name but being driven by my friend and few days back in an incident car broke down, i have furnished the rc, insurance and dl copy of friend who was driving but they have received some false complaint and on basis of that they have held my claims and now distributor is not handing the car.

                                  Now they are asking for my driving license which i do not pose for 4 wheeler and i do not drive the car.

                                  If there was issue in clearing the claims then work should have held and i have got it done outside on payment basis but now when work is finished and car is ready so they are raising an objection.

                                  Request you to please support in the case and get my claim resolved so that i can be a happy customer being associated with your organisation.

                                    Hello sir/madam,
                                    I had been purchased the policy from bajaj allianz life insurance corporation company. It was yearly premium 10, 000 (Ten thousand only) (Unitgain), i was asked to pay only three years premium respectively (10000x3years), remaining premium need not to pay. After completion of that policy (10 years) i would get more then 2.2 lakhs but i surprised by knowing the maturity amount rs. 38, 947. I am getting only 8, 947 rupees extra for 10 years. If i simply deposit the 30, 000 for fd in any bank i would get more then 1.4 lakh but these people are cheating to customers and not paying the maturity amount after completion of the policy. Please let me know if i can take any action against these cheaters
                                    I have raised complaints against bajajallianz but irda & bimalokpal people are not taking any action against them. If these are silent like this obviously these companies do cheat customers without any fear as they want. Mentioned below earlier raised tickets at bajajallianz numbers for your ref.

                                      I had register my complain in bajaj allianze in april (Claim id - oc[protected][protected], (Issue number[protected] then may and also 22th august 2017 (Request no.[protected], its been almost 5 month i haven't got the solution of voltas ac, many time i have been called your customer care also mailed you but always telling me that your issue will get resolved and our engineer will come and solved the problem.in august only two person come and check ac and said that we will come again and solved the problem, again i called many time to him but they said that we have order of your ac parts when its comes then we will change, i don’t understand that which product are coming from 5 months.
                                      After sales your bajaj allianze service is very poor and you are cheating the indian people, if you can’t solve the problem then please not selling these type product to consumer. Your service is too bad i never expected that bajaj will do this. I will never ever extend my warranty period from bajaj allianze again and in future i’ll purchase any product but not bajaj & will make sure that non of my circle do the same mistake which i had done by taking an extended warranty from bajaj allianze
                                      I may request your to look into this issue seriously & on priority, if you want to harassed me again then i have no option rather than going to file consumer case against bajaj allianze.
