On 21st july, i have filed a complaint (complaint no:oc[protected] saying that my sony led tv is not functioning and as i am bajaj extended warranty holder with policy number og[protected]-00075336, i have called your customer care representation and filed a request for the repair. since 21st july, i have constantly calling customer care and the local rep's number given to me by customer care (mr. mallikarjun - [protected]). inspite of several requests no action has been taken till now. can you please take action immediately.

    Please help to resolve my problem, i bought a policy as on 18th may 2016, i have been cheated from bajaj alliance insurance.1st experience to buy the policy was very bad, there is address mismatch and nominee name is totally mismatch with hard copy (Aadhar card) given by me at the time of policy and also till now i am not got the card as well as the hard copy of insurance letter.

      Hi,

      I had purchased a life insurance policy with bajaj allianz-citibank 2 years back. like many other complaints from several other people, i too have been cheated. posting a copy of my complaint below:

      I would like to highlight the following points regarding my sarva shakti suraksha life insurance policy:

      The policy was opened along with my citibank suvidha salary a/c in may 2014
      While opening the policy, i (along with several others) were not told about any deductions or fees that has been charged as per the attached statement
      The policy document we were given also did not mention any such details
      We were promised that the policy would work like a recurring deposit ie. fixed amounts (in my case rs. 3000/-) shall be deducted every month & i would be earning 8-10% bank interest compounded annually.
      We were told that it has a lock-in period of 5 years, and that you can withdraw anytime after 1 year without any penalty.
      There are 20 others who can substantiate this claim along with other company hr officials present in the room at that time
      I am absolutely shocked to find out that after 25 installments (principal itself is rs. 75000/-), my policy balance is only rs. 62, 000/-.
      For the last few weeks, i have been running behind bajaj allianz officials in the hope of enquiring the status about my policy. not only did they have no details about the programme, the customer service was the worst ever i have experienced. several officials promised to arrange callbacks which never happened. it was only after i visited the citibank branch in nehru place & threatened to take legal action against both citibank & bajaj allianz that i received a call couple of days later.

      After further researching about this policy on the internet, i found out that i was not the only person who has been duped by this citibank + bajaj allianz partnership, but there are several others who have been cheated. below is a link for the bajaj allianz consumer compaints page where you will see that several customers have talked about the same scam.

      These are only few of the hundreds of complaints you can find on the internet regarding this same fraud scheme.

      I am amazed & shocked that companies can cheat loyal consumers so openly & easily. i have been a long standing customer with both bajaj allianz & citibank. all life insurance premiums & vehicle insurance in my family are partnered with bajaj allianz. we have been diligently paying several lacs in premium for the previous so many years, both my father & i are a/c holders with citibank. several of my friends work at different positions & departments in the bank. my reason for mentioning these details is to reiterate the fact about how cheated i feel due to the the fraud.

      I would like somebody from the bajaj allianz/citibank to contact me in the next 24 hours and explain why such a situation has arised & what is the solution. my expectations are below:
      Discontinue bajaj allianz sarva shakti suraksha life insurance policy with immediate effect
      Return of rs. 75, 000 plus 8-10% compounded interest for 25 months as promised
      No additional charges or fees since nothing was mentioned at the time of opening the policy
      If i do not hear from you in the next 24 hours, i would be filing a legal suit for fraud and mental torture against both citibank & bajaj allianz.

      Not only this, i would also like to discontinue all forms of engagement with both companies (bank accounts, credit/debit cards, insurance policies etc.) details of which i will share in my subsequent mail. i will also urge my friends, family & employment provider to do the same.

      After writing several mails as well as talking to customer care several times, they keep maintaining that you had read and understood all points before signing. from what i recall, none of these charges/deductions were part of either the policy document nor did the agent who explained the policy ever mention it. no surprise that this policy has now been discontinued. however, very sad to see these schmucks steal your hard earned money from you like this. hoping that there can be some swift action against these people.
      Bajaj Allianz customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      After waiting for 3 weeks, this is the reply I received:


      Dear Sir,


      Greetings for the day!


      In reference to your query regarding miss-selling of policy number [protected].


      We wish to inform you that we have examined the matter thoroughly and would like to share our observations, as follows:


      Your policy was issued based on the duly filled and signed proposal form received by the company along with relevant documents. As per the proposal form, you have opted for a “Sarve Shakti Surksha”, with monthly premium of Rs. 3000/- for benefit term & premium term of 10 years respectively. Policy document clearly mention the effect of non-payment of regular premiums and details of the charges, applicable under the plan.


      As per verification call our verifier clearly explained the policy terms & condition, also caller informed that policy is from Bajaj Allianz as we have tie up, however you have not disclosed any facts in verification call and never tried to contact us after receipt of policy document. Also you have not approach us in Free look cancellation period.


      As you have raised your complaint almost after two years and continued to avail insurance cover also, we have no other option but to presume that you were satisfied with the policy as issued. It is further informed to you that the Insurance Company is bound by the terms and conditions of the policy which is approved by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority.


      We may review your complaint, incase if you can help us with evidence confirming that allegations made by you are genuine.


      For any further assistance you can get back to us, we would be glad to assist you

      And my reply post that:


      First of all, in response to your mail, I would like to mention my comments below:

      Aside from the fact that no charges or deductions were mentioned by the policy agent while explaining the policy (as I have mentioned before, this is before 20 people as well as several HR professionals from the company - evidence of which I will duly share), I recall absolutely nothing about these charges mentioned on the policy document which you claim I have duly filled and signed.
      For my benefit, please share a copy of that form with my signature. If you are unable to share the same, I will assume the above statement made by you does not hold true.

      Since you have brought up your customer service, let me inform you that it is by far the worst that I have faced in my life so far. I did not over the course of these 2 years get any call from Bajaj Allianz regarding this policy. So please check your database when you mention that you explained details to me on the verification call (I'm sure that you would have a recording to prove that I'm wrong if that is the case - kindly share it with me). In fact inspite of contacting Citibank and Bajaj Allianz several times, they had no information about this BALIC plan.
      I made several calls in these 2 years, each time getting frustrated with no response. Unable to get any information about this policy, I logged onto the internet and your own Customer Complaint Section on the Bajaj Alliaz website, where I found out how several people had been cheated, like me, through this scam policy that you run, and sadly, are not ready to accept. I had to personally visit the Citibank Nehru-Place Branch to get any details about this policy (which also was an extremely difficult affair for the Customer Service Executive since nobody seems to have any details on this policy anywhere). Throughout the year, both the emails as well as mail communication I received did not anywhere mention any charges or deductions. All these again point towards the fact that the policy is not transparent at all, developed completely in a manner to cheat customers.
      It is absolutely false when you mention that I did not try to contact Bajaj Allianz after the receipt of this policy. As mentioned above, I tried to contact you several times on several different occasions, and also tried to discontinue the policy, but due to the sorry state of affairs of your Customer Service, this did not happen.

      "As you have raised your complaint almost after two years and continued to avail insurance cover also, we have no other option but to presume that you were satisfied with the policy as issued. It is further informed to you that the Insurance Company is bound by the terms and conditions of the policy which is approved by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority."

      Already mentioned how I have raised complaints & queries several times in these 2 years, however, you have utterly failed to act on them. When you say that the Insurance Company is bound by several terms & conditions approved by Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority, I do not doubt it. Have they also approved that you cheat & exploit your customers?

      I stand by my request to release 100% Principal Amount+ Interest for the policy period as was promised to me, failing which I will approach the highest legal authority to demand justice. I also demand suitable remuneration for the mental torture this has caused me and my family members. I will produce all necessary evidence in the form of several people who are willing to corroborate my account of events.

      Further, in-spite of my mail on July 6th to discontinue the policy with immediate effect, another premium of Rs. 3000/- has been deducted from my A/C. This further points towards your shabby customer service. I want that money to be refunded immediately. STOP DEDUCTING PREMIUM FROM MY CITIBANK A/C.

      Look forward to a prompt response from your team, and hope it does not take 3 weeks to respond to my mail, like in the previous case. I will not exchange any further communication with your team. I have made my demands crystal clear. If you do not accept, I have no option but to take legal course of action.

          I have bought 2 yr extended warranty of an o general ac from bajaj allianz policy number og[protected]-00024285. the ac stopped cooling working on 22nd july 2016 and i registered a complaint with bajaj allianz on the same day. i was told that the survey will be done within 48 hrs. however, it has been 5 days and there is no resolution / contact till date. the call center people do pick up the calls and give various contact numbers. however, none of the contact numbers provided are reachable. it has been a nightmare and i am following the complaint protocol to get this issue resolved. terrible service by bajaj allianz. i will go to the insurance ombudsman, consumer forum including social media campaign against this company if the issue is not resolved in the next 48 hrs.

            I have a tvs apache 160 rtr. At 10 july 2016 my bike was accident with two wheeler bike. I put my bike at oceanic tvs motors, memnagar, ahmedabad last 10 days. Tvs showroom surveyor made estimate around 8000/- rs. But accident surveyor from bajaj allianz not consider all damage parts to claim a insurance.               Bajaj allianz is a fraud company
              My claim no. Is oc[protected]-00008916

              They are not approving my full claim, i met with accident and my front bumper and bonnet are damaged and windscreen also but they are saying it is not damaged due to this.
              Even i have b to b insurance (0 dep plan)

              And in any case if windscreen will be changed first even without surveyor, this is first company i have seen creating this type of issue

                My vehicle met with an accident like more than 10 days. Where both my front and back bumper was completely damaged. Surveyor said he can approve only back bumper not front bumper. Surveyor did approve only 50% of my claim. Have registered a complain on the same. No response from any one. My vehicle is lying in garage for more than 10 days. Felt other insurance companies are far better than this one.

                Please be careful when u are opting for bajaj allianz.

                My vehicle Skoda Rapid Diesel variant bearing registration no KA-01-MM-5457 met with an accident recently.
                I have registered a claim on 14th July 2016 bearing claim no OC[protected]-00007197, Since then my vehicle is in garage (Tafe Access Service center, #919, Bharani Industrial Estate, Chick Begur Road, Off Hosur Road, Kudlu Gate, Bangalore-560068).

                Surveyor, AKSHY ADDYA ([protected]) had inspected my vehicle on 18th July 2016. He has approved 60% of the claim.
                I had called upon Rajajinagar branch claim office, Bangalore, response that i got from them was, surveyor's call is the final call. we cant do anything much.

                I have registered a complaint on the Surveyor(AKSHY ADDYA) bearing no, 63499801. I have not received any call back from anyone of you guys. I am really feeling upset with this response.

                From more than a week, my vehicle is lying in the garage. I am really unhappy with the surveyor's response and their valuation. Please look into this issue. Hope I will get a quick response.

                  Hello sir,
                  I am krishna and my bajaj allianz car insurance number is : og[protected]-00013185 for maruti wagon r. My car was affected in december 2016, chennai floods and given to maruti service center. After 6 months of struggle on repairing i got my car back on june 2016. Bajaj allianz provided me claim and everything. But the insurance officer named jayaram (Mob no:[protected]) from chennai is not providing the survey report although my car has been survived by him long before.. I am chasing him for the past 1 month he is either not picking my call or keeping his mobile switched off. He is not behaving in a professional way too. I am using bajaj alliaz insurance for the past 7 years and i never faced this situation. Pls help me in getting this survey report provided by jayaram. I require for a maruti claim purpose. Pls help me in this regard. My mob is [protected].

                            I have taken policy for my bike from bajaj allianz, they have written my name address and many things wrong. Now they are not responding regarding this. If i call to them they are telling this is service number we cant do anything. I have paid 1088 rs for policy.

                              my name is shailesh thosar and i am one of your motor vehicle customer. i claim my motor vehicle under accidental repair on 24th june and claim was approved on after one week but some of my documents not with you it takes time now one of your advisor swapnali sugadare, bhushan patil and one of your floor supervisor lady (forgot name) none of the told me about the correct estimated date for whole process. now all the people including amol mishra given me different different dates for entire process so now you told me i m taking insurance policy from your company it is big crime for me? or i m renew this policy every year that means i am fool?

                              bro you are right...buying insurance from bajaj is foolishness i renewed bajaj policy 7-8 years for my car...but when i made first claim they refused to give me claim money for front windscreen after an accident.

                                I have taken bajaj 2 wheeler long term policy before due date (27-jul-2016) of my reliance policy (policy no : [protected]) i am asking bajaj to revise my policy which they have given me is like start date is 23 jun 2016 but it suppose to start from 27 jul 2016 because my reliance policy is expiring on 27th july 2016.

                                This the 3rd time iam requesting bajaj to revise policy. i see there is no proper response from bajaj each time they are saying back-end team is working on the issue how many days it will take from modification eating the money of customer is not the good thing give the proper response and service.

                                If you guys are not able to do then please refund the policy amount i will check with some other insurance vendor.

                                  Pathetic service from bajajalliance

                                  Ubmited my laptop 21st of june and today is 11th july, no update from there end not even a single call or mail they made to me every time i had to call them and every time some new new problems arises from there side.

                                  Even called their manager in kolkata (number got from customer care), but after hearing my problems he disconnected..

                                  To whom should i talk now i have no clues,
                                  Feel like my laptop is gone away i wont be getting it back anymore.

                                  And not only that they are charging 500rs also.
                                  I am neither going to pay them 500 nor going to service my laptop

                                  Never ever never go for extended service from this company.

                                    I was purchasing motor insurance on your website, while the payment got debited from my account and i did received a message your bajaj, stating that the "dear customer your payment of 2002 has been received transaction reference number is ​11242456​, however i have not received any policy, when called on your customer service number as usual they have no clue about anything that has happened....

                                    On 01 june 2016, i informed bajaj allianz about my micromax led tv damage and they said that visit of engineer has been booked. However, after waiting for three to five days, no body visit my house. When i called back, bajaj allainz customer care has suggested to repair the led and submit invoice after repair.

                                    After repair of led, i had submit invoice of rs 4500 and other documents at dehradun bajaj allainz office on 15 june 2016. Next day (16 june) i received a call from bajaj allainz and guy asked to visit my home to see led and to take take pictures of led. He did all formalities at my home.

                                    I also send email to pratibha. [protected]@bajajallianz.Co.In and cc to imran. [protected]@bajajallianz.Co.In and ew. [protected]@bajajallianz.Co.In on 24 june 2016 with all documents but never got any answer from these persons.

                                    After a gap of one week, i called bajaj allainz and they asked me to send invoice copy and tv back side picture and front side picture on whatsapp no ([protected]). I again send every document on this number on 02 july 2016 and this guy promised that i will get my reimbursement within two days.

                                    I called again on 08 july 2016 and this time bajaj allainz cutomer care was clueless about status of reimbursement and again asked me to send documents.


                                    Felling helpless... Please help me on this

                                    Dear Bajaj Allianz,

                                    I purchased a Samsung Smart TV Model no. UA32f5500AR on 30/06/2014 from Samsung Plaza Chennai, financed by Bajaj Allianz.

                                    I registered a complaint on 09/08/2016, complaint no.: OC [protected] on my Samsung Smart TV regarding disruptive picture, and automatic turn on and off of the TV by itself.

                                    Below is a timeline of the complaint and the consequent actions.

                                    09/08/2016: Complaint no.: OC [protected] registered.

                                    26/08/2016: Mr. S.R. Jaganathan from the respective service center picked up the TV for service.

                                    28/08/2016: The service center informed me that the front panel would need to be replaced, and promised to install a new panel for the TV, and that it was already ordered within an expected delivery of 7 days.

                                    05/09/2016: The service manager, Mr. Felix conveyed to me that the front panel was replaced, and the TV must be kept in observation for two days in order to verify the functioning.

                                    However, I did not receive the TV within the two days. Despite my calls to check on the status of the TV, the service center failed to deliver the repaired TV within the promised time.

                                    15/09/2016: The "repaired" TV was delivered to my residence around 7 PM. During the time it was delivered, I found the TV was delivered with only 4 screws in the back cover, instead of 12 screws. I showed this immediately to the delivery person who said that they would bring the remaining screws as soon as possible, but still hasn't returned with the screws as of today, 09/30/2016. I was charged Rs. 13, 500 for the replaced panel under insurance. Additionally, I paid Rs. 1, 950 for deductible and transport charges.

                                    16/09/2016: The next morning, I also discovered that the panel was in fact not replaced. I emailed Mr. Mallika Arjun of Bajaj Allianz regarding this false replacement. Mr. Mallika assured that he would sort out the issue but did not get back to me.

                                    19/09/2016: The TV was completely dead, and did not even turn ON. Until today, the TV continues to remain non-functional. I immediately logged this complaint to Mr. Felix who then said that the motherboard had to be replaced.

                                    24/09/2016: Mr. Felix along with his service technician inspected the TV at my residence, and agreed that the front panel was in fact not replaced, and the authorities at the service center agreed to provide me with a new TV.

                                    Following the last correspondence with Mr. Felix at my residence, I have not received any information regarding the status of this registered complaint. We have photo proofs of the above listed, and can send them to you per request.

                                    Please bear in mind that this is not the first instance of a falsification in the repair by the service center. I faced the similar situation in June 2015 for the same TV where the exact repairs were identified but the service center did not replace the front panel nor the motherboard. After being confronted, the service center replaced the TV with a new motherboard and front panel at my presence, and refunded my paid charges and the insurance cost of my complaint.

                                    This situation has been deeply disappointing and agonizing as a consumer and customer, especially when we have been with Bajaj Allianz for over 15 years. We have been without a TV for over a month, and been accommodating to the repeated wait and service quality during this time.

                                    I kindly request you to take immediate action regarding this complaint, and would appreciate a quick resolution to this problem.
