I have purchased Bajaj Pulsar 135 ls in the month of march 2010. Till the time, the studs at the head for silencer have been broken for 4-5 times in the last 4 months. Bajaj service center says that this kind of issue does not get covered in the warranty.

Kindly provide assistance in getting this thing to be covered as in warranty or to whom do I need to approach for such problems to get notified.

Bajaj Auto — Silencer problem

This is my second complaint on the same issue which was not rectified after first complaint. My vehicle silensor got corroded and I replaced the same last year. I bought the silensor from authorized dealer from King Koti area instead from showroom. Even my new silensor got corroded at the same area. Because of the same my vehicle performance came down. Everytime I cant invest Rs 4500/- to change licensor to keep my vehicle performance.

W.r.t my initial complaint the showroom person told that they can't help on this issue. And I haven't received any written statement from this complaint forum.

I hope its an manufacturing defect of the silensor as it is getting corroded in same area. For the manufacturing defects you are forcing the costumer to bear the cost all the time.

Please let me know whether you will clear this issue and replace my silensor.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I, Saurabh M Patel, run a software development business in Anand city near Baroda. I get my bike serviced at A S MOTORS, BARODA at Chhani branch.

    Today, I am in a condition where my bike is not getting started and I am told to take it to Baroda i.e. 50 kms from Anand. I am getting stressed day by day just because of the carelessness and recklessness of the service provided by you. I have taken my bike to A S MOTORS, BARODA for more than six times for minimum 7 days each and every time when I put my bike for service in past eight months. And the problems are getting worse day by day.

    Since past eight months I am facing some serious difficulties regarding the performance of the so called "FASTEST INDIAN" i.e. Pulsar 220 DTS-FI. Problems I am facing are as under.

    I have to lodge the complain again as the carelessness and recklessness of the service station is getting worse day by day.

    ** STARTER and WIRING -- There is some serious problem with the wiring of the starter of my bike. My bike doesn't start. I got the whole starter kit and wiring changed but the problem is not resolved. As there's no kick I have to drag it along and shift a gear to get it started. It looks ridiculous when I have to drag it in public after spending nearly 1,00,000 rupees.

    ** FIRING -- Firing of my bike is even more amazing. It's inconsistent firing sometimes gets so high that people around it look at it astonishingly and sometimes gets low to the point that I cannot even start bike without 10 - 12 starters.

    ** FUEL CONSUMPTION -- is another great matter of concern.

    ** BRAKES -- Sometimes (Almost every time) brakes of my my bike get stuck resulting in drastic decrease of the speed. It's so dangerous to drive it. I recently got the brake liners changed before a month at the service station and after some time it gets free automatically.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I have also got the new Excide battery purchased for my bike recently and did everything recommended by service station but problems remains the same.

    Every time I travel more than 100kms when I go to put the bike for service, I have to beg before them to take it for service to fix my problems. Even after facing such problems, performance of my bike is retarded and problems of my bike get worse day by day.

    I am pledging the authority of the service center A S MOTORS BARODA, CHHANI to fix all my problems regardless of money needed to fix them but in vain.

    I strongly regret a lot for purchasing this 220 DTS-FI and I would never ever recommend anybody to purchase it. I feel like burning it into the flames at the cross roads in public and reporting these issues to the local newspaper.

    I used to be one of the greatest fan of 220. Kindly do something favorable in order to regain my trust in this vehicle.

      Hi,

      I bought Bajaj Platina 125 from atharva motors (malad west) 4 months ago while the time of buying the vechicle, sales person assured me 70-80 KMPL (So do all the media advertisement) but average which I am getting very low, that is 40 KMPL,even 2 free service has been done & i've complained so many times about this low milage to authorized service center but they just set the average instead of resolving the main problem,but seriously now i am very fed up of this.I feel like I am fool by the company.

      I am looking forward for a concrete solution from company, if not then i have to go legal,the money which i have spent, it might be small for the company but not for me.

          hi i am pavan kumar, from AP i am having pulsar 135ls, i am facing everyday some problems with my bike ----why this bike is having problem in pickup and having a different head sound. some mechanics saying that you should clean the head valves. some one says it is the problem of valve taps like that which is correct.
          tell me the alternates for this problem. my nearer service center is vijaya lakshmi bajaj. after my first paid service my bike now having vibration between 50-60 kmph.

            I have purchased a two wheeler vehicle named ‘Bajaj Discover 150 cc’
            bike from Bajaj Auto Pulse, Marathahalli, Bangalore (KA) on 31st Dec 2010. I had inquired the price and offer for this bike I known that there was an offer of ‘Reebok Watch’ as a free gift from any two wheeler that should be 150 cc or more. I heard that there was some hike in the bikes price from the date 1st Jan 2011 that’s why I paid the whole amount to the dealer on 31st Dec 2010 only. Dealer (Mr.
            Narendra from Bajaj Auto pulse) promised me that once the vehicle comes you will get the ‘Reebok Watch’. I got the delivery of this vehicle on 05th Jan 2011, at that time dealer told me that we take the bikes from ‘Khivraj Motors, MG Road (Kasturba Road), Bangalore’ and sale it here. They have not yet given the ‘Reebok Watch’. I called to dealer daily basis (20-30 times in one month) for this gift and after one month (1st week of February) he given me the watch. But this watch is not a ‘Reebok Watch’ it looks markets local watch that comes around 100-150 rs only. While inquiring the price of this bike I had seen this ‘Reebok Watch’ at ‘Khivraj Auto, Rajpalya showroom’ in Bangalore.
            That watch was the ‘Reebok Watch’ and packed in one box. I am really frustrated from this behavior of the dealer.
            I am requesting you to give me the ‘Reebok Watch’ as it was in the offer or else I don’t want this duplicate watch that I got from the dealer. Thank you.

              Bajaj motorcycle — Very Poor Mileage

              I purchased a Bajaj XCD125 seeing the advertisement of 108Kmpl. I am getting 45 to 55Kmpl. Never believe the advertisements, they are meant to cheat the consumer

              I agree. I bought Bajaji Discover 100cc on Dec 2009. I am also facing the low mileage problem.
              Inspite of regular servicing, water wash and maintainence, the mileage assured is started detrimenting day-by-day.
              Hi I am getting 300 km/l milage from my bi cycle.
              So All of complaining guyes sell your bikes @ Rs. 100/- & purchase a bi cycle & join with me in a cycle rally. Believe me you will never complain again.

              i have purchased discover 100cc before 1st servicing its was giving average near above 85km/lit by riding 50km/hr(economy speed) after 1st and 2Nd servicing now giving below 70km/lit by standard riding 50km/hr.(economy speed)

              and engine sound, head lamp problem, gear box sound while shifting the gears and auto neutral while in 1st and 2Nd gear. and while riding the bike it force to move right side...and bike will not starting in cold conditions bcz removing choke system...i have told in servicing center, they told me they will replace the bike.. so ..??//

              2). While riding the bike even between 40-45 kms speed, there is unnecessary sound.

              I purchased bajaj discover dtsi 100cc on 15 december. I have been said that the bike gives the average of 80 to 95 km/hr. But actually it gives me 60 to 65 only. I also has the problem for starting the bike in morning. The engine cool down and the bike does not starts quickly. It takes near about 10 to 15 minutes for starting. Please guide me what should i do?

              i purchased my bike on jan 15 2012, and my bike is doing awesome, my running is around minimum 150 - 200 kms per day before this i was driving pulsar 150 model 2004 i also drive pulsar around 1, 80, 000 kms and worked engine 5 times, now i gotta realise the real fun of biking dont know the average actually i never look after petrol pump after riding this bike, i do feel like bajaj service center are pathetic and i used to service my bike from local mech sometimes with castrol power zone. recently i completed 25, 000 kms and now m replacing my clutch plates as my mech suggested me to change that time to time for better mileage and pick up, i used to change my engine oil at[protected] kms as suggested by bike experts while company guys telling me to take that 10, 000 service oil, so i better decided to ride my bike my way.

Racing problem is there. but they are not giving proper response. i have paid large amout of money as servicing charge but of no use. they have charge money during gurantee period.please do the needful.

And I don’t received insurance policy from their side.

                      I have a bajaj Pulasar 150 Bike. I purchased it from Ludhiana now i am working in Kota. At the time of purchasing the bike (before 1 year) the mileage confirmation of 60 - 65 Kms per/ltr. at Highways & 45 - 50 Kms per/ltrs was given by dealer but my bike is now giving only 30 - 35 Kms per/Ltrs. Mileage. I get the services done on time. But i am facing problem. So pls sort out my issue.

                        I bought a new Avenger 220 Dtsi on 20th Jan 2011. from an authorised dealer who took the bike from shreeram bajaj, the bike has a issue like ,it doesnot start in cold conditions and after long durations of idle normally like 5-6 hours.
                        Even after complaning about this problem ,they have not rectified this problem as yet .

                          I wish to inform you that I have newly purchased "Bajaj Discover DTS-Si 100" on cash payment at Chandra Bajaj showroom at Etah city- 207001.
                          The details of my vehicle is as follws:

                          Owner's Name: RAVENDRA SHAH SISODIYA
                          Address: ALIGANJ ROAD NEAR VIKAS BHAVAN PWD COLONY MANDI SAMITI ETAH
                          OFFICE:- PRANTIYA KHAND LOK NIRMAN VIBHAG ETAH, 207001

                          On the day of purchase, they did not inform anything about the vehicle, its maintenance, or etc., and also told to visit the Service centre for any details.

                          At the Service centre, they asked to tell problems that I faced while riding the bike.
                          I told all my problems:
                          1. Engine oil leak at the engine and silencer rod.
                          2. Problem in shifting First gear, every time we need to press the gear two to three times, then only bike is ready to move.
                          3. While riding the bike even between 40-45 kms speed, there is unnecessary sound.
                          4. Vehicle's pick-up/pulling power is very less.
                          5. Chain become so loose, that it also makes sound.
                          6. Very poor mileage.
                          7. Front wheel air pressure is maintaining, always lowers below normal recommended pressure.

                          They told that nothing will be done unless any complaint is filed or reported in advance. As such the bike is new, nothing is required except change of engine oil.

                          Dealer are sold the veedol engine oil of customer. but castrol is recomanded.

                          And, the worst thing is the manager are dishonest and they are not giving back the our used oil.


                          Dealer gives the extra money in service time in the period of free service in warranty
                          I know the Chandra Baja service station is reimbursing a bulk amount for these free services provided by the Bajaj company, but not performing well even for atleast 20% and so.

                          At the service centre, they are not propely answering any queries. They purposefully makes us to wait for nothing and delaying.
                          I am from a respectful family, and working in a tafe ltd., and always talk politely and gently with everyone.

                          But, at the service centre, they treat the local guys who spoke unparlimentary words and provides their bikes preference, but even not showing interest to inspect and attending our bike. They purposefully harass us unnessarily. What is the necesscity to get such an ill treatment from irrespective persons like them?
                          My bajaj discover 100cc engine is seas in warranty period within on 9083 km is vehicle running only. so Dealer has change the engine kit on my money. when my vehicle is under of warranty. After that change the kit is not compleated by company. so he is not work properly. so I want to refund my money. and repair my vehicle is properly with compleat orignal part.

                          I will be file a complaint before some time.
                          I am writing this mail in order to improve the service and maintin the Company's name and reputation. Please do the needful.
                          if you can't take any action within 48 hours for satisfaction of me.Than I can be take the help of consumer court against Dealer and company.

                            I purchased Pulsar 150CC in 2006, and till now I have chnaged one silencor and the existing one also got rusted in the same place. The first silencor was replaced because on rust the silencor got fully damaged and its pollution was not under PUC standards. THe second silencor has also got the rust in the same place.

                            I would like Bajaj to handle this issue. Everytime I cannot invest 4k for silencor.

                              I want to purchase PLATINA 100 CC IN BLACK CHROME COLOR from last 1 month from nearest distributor . I visited to the Distributor several time & contact the sales person.
                              ,but every time they said that it will take 15 to 20 days After 25 days platina 100 is available in Black Maroon color but it is without the front & side guard
                              On inquary it is found that it will take another 4 to 5 days

                              Sir I want platina 100 only in Black chrome color . For that what I have to do

                                I had purchase Bajaj Pulsher 150 in 14th June 2010 from Dewan Auto Chattarpur. And till date i have not received my RC. I called the showroom people of Dewan Auto, they can't pick my phone and if picked they told me yet we are not received. It is 20 to 30 times I called the showroom regarding this.

                                      I am also facing the same problem. My bike got registered on 10/10/10 and within a couple of month I am facing the engine overheating problem & its a serious issue. Due to the overheating engine make a typical noise.
                                      In related to this I have changed the CDI, Spark Plug, Engine Oil, filter & timing chain but the problem remain the same. Simply the worst...

                                      People who are thinking to go for a new 135 LS think twice...

                                      Dear Friends I also have Pulsar 135 ls

                                      i am also facing the engine problem like noise from engine, over racing when i pull the clutch even i removed automatic choke mileage is also dropped to just 35-38 km/Liter . I agree worst bike made by bajaj. this is when i ride my bike single for not more than 20 Km per day average run. i service my bike before time but engine makes a horrible noise and problem. from starting i m facing these problems.
                                      I agree. I purchased a pulsar 153 LS 7 to 8 months back. Following problems faced right from day 1

                                      1. Vibration from 45 km/hr
                                      2. Gets overheated quickly
                                      3. Indicator doesn't get auto cancelled as mentioned in the bajaj manual
                                      All the above are true as the PULSAR 135
                                      Its another TEST MULE for bajaj to gain practical experience as they are the only company which doesn't take inputs from racing and other R&D activities.
                                      They try all available engine and gearbox fixtures in a TRIAL AND ERROR manner.

                                      But any money saved there does reflect in their bikes being the CHEAPEST PERFORMANCE BIKES ON SALE by 10, 000 atleast.
                                      The direct consequence of lowest technical know-how is the LOWEST ENGINE LIFE for ALL PULSAR BIKES (200NS is KTM derived not bajaj in-house) of maximum 30, 000KMS in comparison to any other bike including BAJAJ's own DISCOVER.


                                      Though I regret now since my engine ceased even earlier.
                                      I bought it as it produced 13.5 bhp like other brands 150cc bikes but NOW ITS IN FOR REPAIRS ((THE SERVICE CENTER GUYS ARGUE ENDLESSLY so dont ever go to Popular Bajaj in Banashankari 3rd Stage, BANGALORE))
                                      WHILE my friends' other brand bikes(read yamaha FZ and old model Unicorn) BOUGHT EARLIER THAN MINE ARE RUNNING WITH MINIMAL ISSUES.
