I own a Bajaj Pulsar AS200 motorcycle for past 5 years and 3 months now. I am an enthusiast of Motorcycles, Automobiles, Aeronautics and other mechanical and technological innovations. I bought the motorcycle from a local dealer Rokta Bajaj at Kolkata in 2016, I have been maintaining the motorcycle since then as, Bajaj has the most substandard motorcycle mechanics at its Dealer SVC. I have had the worst experience in the past and So has my group of 176 mototcyclists, we decided to maintain the Motorcycles ourselves. However, its been from past two years and a half that, there has been a consistent issue o[censored]navailability of spares for Bajaj Pulsar NS and AS Motorcycles in Kolkata. I mean the issue is so serious that Bajaj itself has started selling wrong spares to make up for the right ones, for example the Clutch Cable for my Motorcycle Make and Model is JL161207 but, Bajaj Motorcycles sells the Clutch Cable DT161203/JL161200 which are shorter in length from the original factory fitted and previously sold original equipment. On the top, simple spares for regular service are also not available in the entire city from past one year. All their distributors, specially Pioneer Sales, Durga and Rolta Bajaj would runaway from customers to avaid embarrassment. All o[censored]s who own these 200cc models from Bajaj are in dire situation due this. My motorcycle needs a major overhaul for engine cylinder, piston and Head along with that of Clutch Cables, Clutch Assembly and Gear Lever with Front Brake Calipers, Con Nut Set with bearings, brake lines, casing lids and caps. None of the spares are available in the entire city from the past 1 year. No answer from anyone in Bajaj or their Dealers and Distributors. All are mum and they just behave as if we've all done a huge mistake knowingly by purchasing bajaj high end motorcycles.
