This is to bring to your kind notice the problems faced by me during the purchase of a new bajaj discover 125cc.
On 11th february 2019 i had been to krishnaa auto, trichy. I paid cash rs.20000/- and booked a bajaj discover 125cc. The sales person told me the overall cost is rs.76800/-, when i asked him to give me the break-up for rs.76800/-, it was not given clearly to me.
On 12th february 2019 i paid the balance amount, the sales person told me “you can take delivery after registration on 13th february 2019. While taking delivery, i went through the statement of accounts, i found that the dealer has charged me excess amount.
As follows:

01 registration fee & life road tax rs.4857/- rs. 4856/-
02 registration fee again collected from me 00 rs. 1840/-
03 compulsory fitment charges rs. 1750/-
03 pdi handling charges rs. 1210/-
Insurance:
Krishnaa auto had charged me rs.5416/-, but the insurance policy says rs.4605/- after much enquiry/argument the excess amount rs. 811/- was refunded to me.
However, when i asked the sales person an explanation on the above charges, he said “the management has asked me to collect from customers”.
He also added that compulsory fitment charges are charged for compulsory extra fittings:
Ie. Sari guard
Front bumper
2 rear view mirrors
But i was told by another staff of krishnaa auto that price includes, 2 rear view mirrors, front bumper, & sari guard.
After 3 days i got a call from krishnaa auto to collect my registration number, so i went to krishnaa auto. Immediately the registration guy demanded rs.200/- towards armed force flag. The approach from the registration department towards customers is “very worst”.
I’m very surprised to know that bajaj auto does not have a check on its dealers, on how they treat their customers, how much they charge the customers for the product that bajaj manufactures. I have also collected the same feedback from 4 other customers who have purchased bajaj motorcycle.
So, i have decided to proceed legally, & publish this episode in all social media.
