Firstly they took a month for reverse pickup.
Now its being another 20 days and still they are not refunding the credit note.
Neither they are giving my calls to senior person of their customer service.
I don't have any clue why they are doing so.
Its really a very pathetic and annoying experience with bata.
So registering this complain against the same and looking forward for the resolution asap.

    I have purchased bata shoes mens formal article no. 8513229 on 3rd november 2019 from gwaliors city center showroom. But bill is misplaced and the shoe is broke from down and upper side, i attached the photographs of the shoe and also its article number. Please solve this issue against the product.

    Kindly resolve the issue as the product is in under waranty of 90 days.

      In dec 2019 i ordered a shoe pair online with order no 12470718. Green sports shoes for men product code: f[protected]fe. When i ordered online the shoe at that time was available. So i ordered and given me above order number that my order is verified. After 3-4 days i called customer care that order is not dispatched. They said that due to product not available or not passed in quality checked so we cancelled the order. But i know why they cancelled the order. The order i booked was of rs 800. And they are selling the same product for rs 15-1600. So they make excuses. They said that you order again online. So i again booked same shoe online twice with order no 12472963. Green sports shoes for men product code: f[protected]fe. Again same way they cancelled my order with intimating me. Please never buy bata shoes. They are just a fake company. Which work only for money not follow and ethics. They don't know how to handle the order. I am now thinking to going consumer court. I will discuss with lawyer. What he will be suggested will move forward to learn bata a lesson. I have all screen shots and order number attached. Please see.

        I dr rohit purchased these leather shoes which were the most premium at a cost of rs 7999 with a guarantee they’d last me for long i even bought another pair of the same in black
        The shoes were no doubt comfortable while they lasted
        Suddenly one day the sole just came apart and was so friable that it was crumbly, and breaking apart,, that too while i was at hospital
        I’ve been a regular customer of bata since childhood and never expected this from your product and that too so expensive a shoe
        I was told that these soles can’t even be repaired
        It’s very unfortunate after spending such a mammoth amount i’ll have to throw them away
        I hope you’re esteemed company can help me either replace them or compensate me

          Online order[protected] for a pair of sandals placed on 22 may 2019. Cost: rs 710.99. Received on 28 may and returned as the sizes varied. Right leg was size 38 and left leg size 37.
          Sought refund as i was leaving overseas in a week's time. Complaint no.: 1589734.
          Follow up emails requesting refund made on 1, 5, 21, 24, 26 june 2019 then, on 16, 17, 24 july and then on 26 aug and then again on 26 sept and on 10 th and 14th oct. I also wrote to customer. [protected]@bata.com on 17 july 2019.

          17 international calls made to [protected] (On 4, 12, 17, 19 and 22 july and 7, 12, 19, 26 august and 19 sept and 24 oct and then again on 6 and 20 nov. Every time the complaint no is updated and i am told that the refund will be initiated in 3 days. I have spoken to margaret, kapil, arit, kulwant and a number of others. Supervisor refuses to come to phone.

          I need a refund and an apology for such atrocious service that has caused so much effort and time.

            It's quite disappointing that after multiple followups via phone and mail till now not received my credit note / gift voucher rs. 299/ -.

            Order booked on 21st aug'19 - your order with id: 12383864 has been placed successfully. We acknowledge your payment of rs. 299.00 received through credit-card/debit-card.

            Complaint raised on 1st sept'19, reference number is 1688379, but no action. Bata agent abhijeet tripathi opened new ticket 124646 on 18th nov'19.

            Spoke to multiple people ritika / barkha/shashank / piyush sharma / mr. Dhir, mr. Yadav & soumyadeep bhattacharya. No action at all.

            Wondering is bata really concerned about customer complaints. I will never recommend to do online shopping from bata site.

            Appreciate any help can be provided.

              Hello. I purchased north star women"sshoes a month ago for 1799 inr. The shoes are very badly engineered as my feet starts sweating as soon as i wear them and the smell does not go away. Please note that before this i never encountered such a problem. There is no space for air to properly go in and out as the material outside is plastic. They are not at all worthy of the price. I'm highly disappointed with this product. Its defected and not a good footwear.

                I have brought 4 products from bata today. Out of 4, three products are under 70% discount. Mrp of that 3 products is
                1) kids sandal 1299/-
                2) mens slippers 399/-
                3) womens shoes 999/-

                And 4th product is kids socks worth 299/- brought on mrp.

                They have charged me rs. 1263.36 instead of 1108.1.
                They not even given bill. They simply said that you'll get bill on your mobile.

                  I have raised pick up request for one product.

                  The courier man didn't approached me and at the same time updating the status as 'delayed pick up request by the customer'.

                  After soo many call and mails the courier man came to pick it after 15 days.
                  That means they have no value for customers and also they didn't take any action against the courier named DHLVRY.
                  It was the worst experience till date.

                    About one year back i bought an ambassador (Black) pair of shoes from bata showroom in ultadanga, kolkata.
                    Till this date i have used this shoe only of 6 to 7 days as per requirement, today i noticed that the sole is breaking into small pieces from the edges specially. The leather is still in good condition but sole has really under performed.

                    How can i repair my shoe to get some value for the money?

                        I purchased shoes thru online sale fm bata india website on 24th aug 2019 vide order # 12386758 amounting to inr 226.
                        However, due to some issue within bata india due to non availability of the product they initiated cancellation fm their end and confirmed that a refund shall be issued within 7 working days.
                        As the refund was not initiated back into my bank a/c as being teh payment channel, i was told that the issue would be resolved at teh earliest.
                        As the issue has been pending i had been contacting their toll free # for customer service and every time i reach them they confirm that the issue is in the process and the refund would be issued.
                        I also have been writing mails to their"customer. [protected]@bata.com" and "in-customer. [protected]@bata.com" and i only get an acknowledgement but no solution to the issue.
                        Even today i did write a mail and the latest reference # given is "new ticket - bm-128400 - bata".
                        I was told in the 3rd week of oct 19 that on 21st oct 19 a refund has been initiated to my bank a/c and i should be receiving the amt in the next few days.
                        Its now more than a month and the refund is still to get credited to my bank a/c.
                        I did share my bank account statements as requested and there has been no response.
                        Quite surprised with such an unprofessional attitude by bata india to resolve this issue inspite of my follow-up and their assurances which turned out to be false always.

                          I purchased a chappal with back belt from BATA at Selimpur dhakuria. i used the chappal in very few occasion . once i attended a wedding party where i realised that something was losing from under the chappal . I immediately open the chappal and found that rubber sole developed several crack and small pieces started detaching from under and so happened one side of the rubber sole detached in small pieces and i was disbalanced and encountered an embarrassing situation. next day I carry both the broken chappal to the shop and shown to the BATA Shop keeper . They didnot take this issue seriously they only stared at me with out any comment as if nothing has happened.
                          for this reason I take this option of complaining on line . sir i am the bonafide BATA customer, feel very sorry to say how BATA is selling this type of inferior product . pls take necessary action to rectify this inferior quality product. otherwise customer like me will never enter BATA shop.

                            Dear customer service manager,

                            Would like to convey my absolute dissatisfaction of the quality of a pair of black ambassador shoes, i purchased about six months back. While the shoe looks as new as i have sparingly used the shoes but the soles have crumbled and degenerated like third grade cheap plastic. This has caused a major embarrassment when i was attending a conference last week.

                            I am a regular customer and a strong advocate of bata shoes but unfortunately your quality has been a major cause of concern. This is not the first time i faced issues with the soles but this one has happened in such a short period of time. I use you to look into this and revert on the action that you are taking. I have lost trust on bata and feel that all your brand building exercise is just a marketing gimmick with utter disregard to quality and customer satisfaction.

                              I bought bata leather shoes size 11 from bata online (Order id[protected] on october 12th 2019 and returned same on october 21st 2019 as wrong size 9 was delivered. The online status still shows return request accepted.

                              I am following up since on daily basis still have not received my money /credit note till now. Everytime i am getting update like wait 24 hours or 48 hours and wait few more days. I am keep calling customer care executives, same update getting from one month. Even i talked to ashima and escalated to avadesh yadav, floor manager, but still no luck on this. He gave false promise that this time it will done within 24 hours. I had raised customer complaints and i receive the complaint number every time with no action on the same.

                              Complaint nos logged: 1728960, 1731882, 1734455, 1737619, bm-112790.

                              I am aware several similar complaints have been logged everyday by the customers and it needs strict action. Please help on this.

                              There is another Bata Fraud going on.

                              You will get a call from [protected] and person will saying he is Deepak/Sunil calling from bata with Employee number and he will upload the Credit amount directly to the bank account and will ask for debit card details and cvv and will debit the money from the account.

                              Bata#Fake#Beware.

                                I had ordered men's formal shoes on 05.11.2019. I availed the 25percent discount on the shoes worth 1699 inr. Hence after discount it costed me 1375 inr. Due to size issue i had to return the product. And in return i received online credit of the same amount. Now i want to order the same product with correct size. Now i can either avail the discount or the online credit amount. Hence the same product is costing me with more 400 inr. I requested them to transfer my money in my account but they are not doing anything and every time they are beating around the bush and asking me to wait. I have even complained to bata, my complain number is - 1733105.
                                I have made around 50calls to customer care, their escallation team member - mr. Avadhesh and mr. Bhattacharya is working into the matter but not responded well and have always tried to extend time.
                                I have almost made 34 calls, but the issue is still unsloved.

                                  Not able to redeem gift voucher. Order hanged while trying to redeem gift voucher. Now shows error the gift voucher as it tells already redeemed. Call center executive tells will get resolved in 24 hrs and now 2 months have passed.

                                  On 2nd oct tried to redeem

                                    I am extremely sorry to advise that the service at sector-18 noida branch has completely deteriorated. I am a regular customer of that branch for so many years but now realized that the branch is lacking in proving essential services as were given in the past.

                                    1. A hawaii chappal (Gents) purchased for costing 1000/- few months ago, its stapes (Feeta) detached. I don't expect this from a bata chappal for which i paid a hefty sum. But i didn't make any complaint.

                                    2. Quality of the shoes/slipper deteriorated, resulting needs repair, which is not being carried out there.in the past if any such kind of problem ever exist, the showroom people immediately attended and get it repaired with/without cost. Now, the employees say that company had stopped the facility. A doctor sandal was purchased few months ago but its sole got separated when i was in the marriage party in noida. I left the party immediately in the middle and very next day 8th nov, 2019 went to the above showroom but was surprise to know that company will not take any responsibility to repair it, though the situation was different in the past. They accept and sent to their service center for repair free or otherwise. But this time the staff said that company had stopped repair work, however if i still want they will engage a local mochi on payment of inr 200/- since the work done by a local mochi is not upto the standard of the company i refused to leave it for repair and bought another two pairs at the same time from the showroom, a pair of doctor chappal and aero youth sports shoes. Vide invoice no. Cm[protected] dt 8/11/2019 for total value 2548/- with 15% discount.

                                    3. The shoes purchased were used the next day were very uncomfortable, however, i just took it off and packed for exchange but could not get time for few days. I went to the showroom on 17thnov, 2019 and requested to exchange with another pair of shoes because the shoes are pressing hard at the panja (Front side of foot) and i was unable to wear it. But your staff refused to replace rather offered to expand the front portion with the help of "pharma". It was very surprising because in the past, it was always exchanged either with the same model with a bigger in size or replaced with another comfortable design.

                                    4. The most uncomfortable aspect was the behavior of the staff on both the days 8/11/2019 & 17/11/2019. While negated my demand one of the staff dealing was talking in loud voice which was making me un-comfortable. But it was very surprising that a senior person sitting at the counter also joined him and a lady young girl also started talking in high volume.

                                    This is my feedback only. But i suggest you to take suitable measures to improve the customer service.

                                    I buyed my pair of shoes around 6 months back and it got teared from front and when i visited the store for the defect they said please do the complaint online. Now i think that if you buy products from bata you should never expect for a good quality product.

                                      Have book a white sneakers for men size: 12 with order id.12438286 on oct 10th 2019, i got a wrong size of shoe size 8 no. On 13th oct, logged a complain on 13th oct 2019 1ith id 1721053. Got a credit note on 18th oct 2019 and the customer care asked me to book the item again and will send the right size.

                                      I booked again on 25th oct with order id.12444237, the product is still not delivered, i call the help line many times booked a complain, still they have not delivered the products.

                                      Last time i called the customer care they said someone will call me in 2 hrs its been more that 4 days now, no call no product. I have not got my shoe for more than a month now and no refund either.

                                      Very very bad service.

                                        I bought bata shoe worth rs 2000 on bata app they took almost 16 days to deliver the product. That was defective after that for replacement they first mail me that your product has been replaced. After i yell and yell at them they picked up my product. It has been almost one month now they didn't replaced my product neither i got refund. And the customer service executive when i called told me that your product has been delivered and you never asked for replacement.
