I placed an order for a sandal on 31st dec 2018 through online and i have made the payment too. I couldn't receive any information regarding the product delivery. I contacted the customer care several times but they just keep saying that i will get it in 2 to 3 days. But so far i didn't receive the item. This is my first experience with bata online purchase and i am very much disappointed with their service. I risked myself by trusting the company and their goodwill. I would be glad if you could help you on this. If so, i request you to kindly consider this mail and resolve my issue asap. My order id is 12262355. Sub/order no : 50314433

I expect at least a refund if you couldn't deliver the item as this is the process carried out in every reputed companies.

      I was visit today morning in bata store at sojati gate jodhpur. A salesman mr. Manish called me why you come store in morning. I was go back out of store after one hour i was again visit in same store again manish say to me why you come in store in morning. I m shocked. The manager see manish behaved. I m guilty feel in store all staff n customer in store they all looked me n manish hot talk. I never visit n but your products again bcoz your staff not co operative. Arif [protected]

        I bought a shoe from amazon in September with a warranty period of 3 months and its soul got cracked and the a part o[censored]pper body got separated from sole. When I asked bata they first refused to take the complaint as I bought it from Amazon. but after explaining them they noted my complaint.

        I firstly complained Bata on 1st of Dec with ref. No.: 1381355, and shared all the pictures and invoice. But they didnt took any step for that.

        Secondly on 4th december I again logged a complaint with reference no: 1384416, After a long wait they arranged a pickup on 7th of december. I handed over my shoe to them.

        Again after a long wait when i didnt receive any response I called them on 18th December, On that day they said we are forwarning the concern and you will get cashback vocher within 24-72 hours and you will be updated on call.
        And again waiting for that much time they didnt gave any response. Today again when I called them on 21st December, they said we are processsing your request and you will be updated in next 24 hous. When I asked that I have been waiting for so long they had nothing to explain the reason for this.

        They are just harrasing me for this and not giving me the exact information. I bought the shoe for wearing and not for getting harrased. When I ask them to forward my call to Senior representative they dont even do that.

        I have already wasted my time in this whole process and now I want to file a case against them for harrasing and not informing with the update.

        Even they are not gining a money as refund, they will give a BATA voucher which is of no use if I will buy any other product. I want some strict action to be taken on them.

          Hi,

          I've purchased the attached shoe from Bata India, and afterwards i found out that there was a snag in it and the JAALI was damaged in the shoe as clear from the attached image.

          I raised a complaint, but was told to visit the outlet and was also informed that same is a Franchise so have to visit them, it doesn't have any semblance to them that we've purchased the product as it is of BATA and nothing else.

          When I went to the outlet he confirmed after keeping the shoe wth him for 2-3 days that it is not a manufacturing defect but may would have happened due to fault at our end, if it was fault at our end then why was the owner of the outlet ready to get the defect rectified at his own expense, even though we refused to get it rectified from the normal cobbler as he was offering.

          What is the use of purchasing the shoe from a reputed brand like BATA, if at the end of the day, customer would be blamed for the defect.

          The owner straight away said that it is a new imported product and there cannot be any defect like this, he'd have taken it as a defect if the entire leather would been damaged, what sort of services are these, i am looking forward to have either my shoe replaced or money being refunded back to me.

            Dear Bata,

            I had a trust in bata because of the quality of the products but now i almost lost that belief. I am using bata ladies sandal for many years because of its quality. I purchased 3 bata sandals in 7 months. 1st one aroind last week of april ( kottayam show room near bhima jewellery), second one november first week ( Thiruvalla deepa tower) and the last 2 weeks before (Thiruvalla, Ramanchira). I am very sad that all of them were of poor quality and not able to use it even for 6 months!!! Please ensure quality of products..

            I have tried to attach the photograph of the sandal which i have purchased 2 weeks before but faliled because of its size. it had torn and also making sound while walking!

              I bought hush puppies shoes for men at the outlet located in kurnool near control room circle. The cost of them is 3500 rupees there. But when i go through the amazon app, it is 2300 rupees only. There is a huge difference in market rates of bata or hush puppies. Very much disappointed. Remaining branded items are not like that. There will not be this much difference in prices between outlets and internet shopping. Very pathetic condition

                Since 1 month i am following up with bata customer care for my refund which bata is saying has been initiated on 15.11.18, i have shared my stmt as well which transaction is not showing and when i asked for bata stmt, you people are not providing, what kind of behaviour is this you guys can ask for customer personal bank smt and but when it comes to your stmt u guys are not sharing, i have spoken to many people, imran and manager-ashish verma but all useless, you guys are sick, every time i am calling customer care they are saying give us 48 hour, 24 hour, till 7pm, only fake deadlines are given by bata employees, i have called more than 20 times for 899 rupees, it was my biggest mistake to choose"bata" as my shoe brand in amougnst all big brands, bata doesn't' care for customer, i tried calling e-commerce diff-prakash but there also no reply. This is highly dissappoinment as bata doest not even have proper educated and trained staff who can solve such a pitty things.

                  So i went to bata store at 10.30a. M. And the person told me that we only sell after 11.. So next time i visited d store at 11 a. M. Now they person says that he sells only after 11.30. What.?. Seriously?. I also told him i require certain type of products that i had purchased previously. He say bata does not sell those. Why? Incase bata doesnt want to sell why do you open outlets. I m sure its not for customer but for self satisfaction. Please get yoursel[censored]pgraded.

                  I have purchased belt shoes at Brodipet 4th line Guntur beside Indian bank on[protected] at bata show room .But surprisingly one of the shoes colour changed. Looking very ugly with two different colors. I have contacted bata Show room employees To Help. But I lost the bill. I requested them to verify with the date I purchased. Is it not possible.

                    We have purchased article number 854-4927 of Hush Puppies @ Rs.3499/- only from your Model Town store on 01.07.2018.

                    Considering Hush Puppies as a renowned brand and always delivering best quality products we are a regular customer of it, however, something surprising unexpected happened with us that within short span of purchasing the above referred article it has damaged badly. The sole of the article has broken badly (Image Attached).

On 25 november 2018 i purchased a slipper in bata showroom bangalore for 2999 rs. After i purchaced i found the online shoping amazon is selling the same product for half the price that is 1449. So kindly make the company to provide me the cash back of the remining money.

                        I has purchased a north star shoe for rs 622 on the date 9/9/2018 from the bata stores located at anna nagar madurai. The invoice no is cm[protected]. We inquired the salesman at the time of purchase if repair of shoes was accepted within the given period. I would have hardly used the shoes for 20 times, and i find that the soles are torn. When i inquired the salesman if repair could be done he said he would inform us later after asking the manager. When inquired again he answered in a negative way, saying it was my fault. The shoe is still in shop. I request you to provide a solution for this problem.

                        Complaint id 2156517 regarding the poor quality of north star shoes. From Bata side they deny for replacement or repair saying that the shoes torn by serrated use and lack of maintenance. They deny quality issue. But I want to clarify that the shoes used for 20 times only in college campus. One can think of the quality of the product. Other students who purchased north star shoes had the same issue. This is our third experience regarding Bata shoes quality issue. In future we and our friends avoid buying Bata product. we go for other brands which are more durable than Bata.

                          I recently bought a kid footwear on 14/10/2018. It was a diamond-studded footwear which we took for an occasion. As we wore on that occasion we saw that all the diamond studs were falling off the footwear. We came back from the occasion and took that to the store from where we got (Shop no-2391 in Sakinaka-II) and explained the situation and as expected they started raising hands. At the sales time, they guarantee that all the things are covered as at that point the main motive is sales. When I asked them that I need a replacement they said that it is not covered. They said that you should see what's covered and what's not at the purchase which means when u shop next time we should first get their invoice as all the terms are mentioned behind the invoice. Such a Pathetic way of customer handling. and when I showed that invoice and in which they have already mentioned 60 days replacement then they said u can replace after insulting the customer. I haven't taken the replacement yet but I want to take the replacement of it and I would like to complain about the store's customer service as they cant insult me even if the product is of less value. I would like to know the the effective actions you took on him. Thanks!!

                            I am writing this to highlight an issue which i have confronted during purchase of items from your authorised shop, bata shoe store, 15/1 jawaharlal nehru road, kolkata, west bengal.
                            I received a coupon of rs. 500/- (Code-
                            Cm[protected] while purchasing a footwear from your another authorised shop situated at chandannagar station road, fotokgora, chandannagar, west bengal. Invoice no of which was cm[protected] amounting to rs 1799/- we were suggested to use that coupon on any purchase of rs. 1999/- or above within 02/12/2018. Keeping this in mind we made a purchase of rs 1999/- bearing invoice no - cm[protected] and asked the billing person to redeem the coupon value of rs. 500/- but the billing person told us that the mobile no given by me was not matching with the no given during earlier purchase. I confidently believe that, i could not make such kind of silly mistake of giving a wrong mobile no. Being failed to redeem the coupon value we have to paid rs 1999/- instead of rs 1499/-. The entire situation was really very embarrassing to us.

                            I am expecting for necessary steps and action as well as willing to be favoured.

                              I purchased a shoe vide invoice no. Cm[protected] dated 31/8/2018 from bata india limited chandigarh s22, sector 22d, shop no.32 chandigarh articel no.[protected] hsn code 64035990 name s stride rs.1302/- but sole of above shoe de-pested within 15 days and i contacted the shop and they told that this is not their responsibility and they will returned this shoes. On request they arranged repairing of said sole and again within 2 days same problem has occurred. I am surprised to see this type quality of bata product. I request to please suggest me to whom i approach for remedial action.

                              I purchased a shoe vide invoice no.CM[protected] dated 31/8/2018 from Bata India Limited chandigarh S22, Sector 22D, shop No.32 chandigarh Articel No.[protected] HSN Code 64035990 Name S STRIDE Rs.1302/- but sole of above shoe de-pested within 15 days and I contacted the shop and they told that this is not their responsibility and they will returned this shoes.On request they arranged repairing of said sole and again within 2 days same problem has occurred. I am surprised to see this type quality of Bata product. I request to please suggest me to whom I approach for remedial action.

Belt top layer was gone after 1 month and it looks very ugly. I complaint at shop, but they gave rude answer and asking about bill. I dont have bill, but I have account ([protected]) at that shop.

                                    The cashier /proprietor of bata showroom, junction mall, durgapur, west bengal had a faulty credit card swiping machine and could not complete the transaction first time. The money was deducted from my citibank card and i got a message. He kept insisting that the transaction didn't go through and we had to pay again.
                                    He yelled at us when i and my husband were asking him for verification of the cancellation.
                                    We were disgusted and left the store.
                                    Later we found another message saying the transaction was cancelled.
                                    The man was right.
                                    But yelling and accusing customers is not done. My husband got angry and said that we don't mind gifting the money to bata. Having grown up with the company.
                                    Left a bad taste. I'm probably going to never go back to the store.

                                      Visited the bata store at maliwara, ghaziabad yesterday i. E. 16th nov. 2018. When enquired about ambassador shoe, the salesman told it was closed by the company.
                                      While trying for another preferred shoe, the trial socks were not provided. On asking for these, the store staff came with a dirty and dust filled towel socks, used by several people before us. Not expected on bata.

                                        The quality of the shoe is extremely poor, the sole of shoe is coming off. I am unhappy with the product that has been delivered to me with the name tag of your company. I doubt it is duplicate one or a rejected piece.
