I placed an order (A gift for my husband) on 11 may of hush puppies shoes (Rs 2799) size 8. Order id 12194511. My husband received the delivery on 14 may. The shoes are loose in his foots. I called the customer care service they gave me a complaint number 1136075. The package in which the shoe box wrapped was destroyed. Shoe are in original condition with shoe box. I want an exchange with size 7.

    Dear sir/madam

    In reference to above subject, we had purchased a hawaii chappal of blue color. But we observed after few days of purchase, surprisingly we found that the color of slipper is being discharged on skin (From bottom and on straps).

    As it was not expected, being a reputed brand of bata, by carelessly we didn't kept it's bill secured. And when we went to the shop keeper with the complaint, they straight forward denied to attend our grievance

      Dear sir/madam,

      This is regarding a complaint for a footwear i had purchased recently.

      First of all, let me inform you that i am a regular user of the ladies bata footwear, this in spite of me working for a footwear company paragon. The sandals that i have purchased for my wife all these years was from bata and the last sandal that i purchased for her, she wore it for more than 1 ½ years and even then, nothing had happened to the footwear, all these footwear that i had purchased was in the range of rs. 750 to rs. 800.

      During march, i had been to the bel road bata showroom which is around 10 kms away from my house as i understood it is a big showroom with lot of collections and on 17/03/2018, i purchased a footwear costing rs. 1999 (Article - [protected], name – l20722) against invoice number cm[protected] dtd 17/03/2018.

      On using the same, the insole of the sandal started to peel off within the 5th day and i went to the bel road showroom with the sandal informing that this is a damaged sandal as the insole of the sandal is peeling off from the middle and the back of both the sandals and the staff over there told that they will put gum and give where i told them that it is not fair to do this for a new sandal purchased for rs. 1999/-, but the staff over there informed that they can do only that and had also informed that if the insole again starts to peel off, they will give a replacement.

      On putting the gum, within the next 1 week, the insole again gave way and started peeling off and my wife stopped using the same. As i did not get time to visit the showroom again due to my busy schedule and travelling, i again visited the showroom yesterday i. E on 04/05/2018 with the sandal and was surprised to hear from the staff that they cannot give a replacement and will do the same procedure of once again putting the gum and giving. I informed them that i cannot keep coming to the store every 5th day with this sandal for putting the gum because again if you put the gum and give, it will again come off within next 3 days.

      On talking to the manager at the store and the helper boys, they informed that they cannot give a replacement as there is not sole cut or upper cut.

      Sir, bata being one of the oldest footwear manufacturer of india with a big brand name, we cannot expect such kind of response for a big company like this, and this is not a small amount that i have paid for this sandal, i have paid a huge rs. 1999/- and i have been running around behind this from past 2 ½ months. As i am also working for a big footwear company paragon, i know the return policy here where if there are such complaints, without giving any trouble to the customers, the footwear is taken back and a replacement is given.

      Can something be done for this, hope to get a positive reply at the earliest.

        I being a loyal customer of Bata as usual purchased a shoes from bata showroom, rishad tower on 28/04. Within 3 days time the shoes elastic came out. (Invoice and picture of shoes attached). As mentioned in your policy i took the shoes to the showroom to exchange it with a new pair. First of all the quality of bata is so detorioted that today onwards i will not purchase any of Bata products. Secondly to my surprise the showroom fellow told that they cannot exchange the shoes and said that they can sew it and return. Pls tell me a customer buying a product with giving his hard earned money he will wish atleast the product goes for 6 months. Now after sewing i have to wear the shoes in fear that if again the stitch goes off then what to do. Because for sure i know the stitch will not stay. I begged the manager to pls exchange as per your company policy so that it will be a win win situation for both. But he was so admant and got away from me to serve other customers. I was standing helpless in your showroom. I will suggest my friends and relatives never go for bata. I was so embarrassed after giving my rupees i have to beg in front of you peoples. I am scheduled to go outside hence i brought the shoes. Now what i will do. Pls look into this matter and give help me.

              Purchased bata footwear (Model no, [protected]. Rs..999. Through your showroom located at sreekariyam, tvm on date.. I am a regular customer of bata and we purchase footwear only from your showroom. But iam extremely disappointment this time. It is not good to sell such a low quality product by a branded company like yours. I could use my footwear only 25 days, after using these days the chappel was completely damaged. The leather has peeled off from the surface also the sole and upper leather got separated after my 25days use. I travel again visited the showroom and asked the customer manager about this issue. He accepted the issue and given new product to me. After using within one week i found the front area of right side of the footwear is getting damaged. And also another parts of back side sole of the area, front side sole under parts in side is getting damaged. When i visited to the store and showed the condition of the chappel. Show room staff mr. Vishnu recommended to me to write to customer care service for reimbursement or replacement. The shoes are under 90days warranty. My invoice date11/02/2018, amount 1499. I am working in food and safety commissioner office at waynad. I purchased chapels from tvm sreekariyam showroom. I was travelled from waynad to tvm these reason of purchasing for chapel exchange. My time and travel expense are waste for purchasing your foot wear product. I request you exchange the pair of footwear or help me in other ways to save my losses. I have attached the details photos and bill.

                I have use bata shoes since 15 years. But recently have bad experience with shoes product of bata. It was bought by me form anand vidhya nagar road showroom before 5 to 6 month ago and shoes sole was broken. I think shoes material was not maintain by the company.

                I suggested that product should be replace or repair if possible.

                It observed that my complaint regarding broken sole of shoes is still pending. In replied to my earlier complaint no one is contact or touch with me from Bata service team. Now my second shoes sole is being broken. I think it is not acceptable that my first complaint is not solved and another shoes sole is nearly to broken.

                kindly take necessary action for resolution of my broken shoes.

                  Hi sir/mam, i b hymavathy, purchased handbag in marathalli branch, bangalore bata shop cost of 1499/- and the no:946-2040 in the month of march.

                  After spending so much of money and not even 2 months completed, near the bag handles got teared. May be the old stock. Sunday i visited and requested for the change or replacement or reimbursement. They informed me like as that is not a main branch they cant change and ask me to send mail to customer care they will reimburse definitely.
                  Even i checked yesterday in the shop, even the new bags of that model got teared in the same way as mine.

                  Or u can replace me the bag of the same cost and same size. Not that model some different model of same color/ cream/ red to the below address

                    Yesterday evening I bought a pair of Bata Shoes among other products of Bata Vide Invoice No. CM[protected] dated 01/05/2018 from Bata India Limited, Jorhat A.T.Road, P.O.Jorhat, Assam(18). Details : One pair footwear Size in cm. 26.9cm., Month & Year of Mfg.02 15, Article No.854-6604, Dept & Plan CNTR/5096X MRP.Rs.2999.00.Unfortunately, I regret to have to register a complaint with your esteemed Organisation for immediate replacement of the said item as after using the footwear it was found that the sole has completely got damaged, presumably the item is more than 3 years old which could not be accentuated at the time of purchase. Kindly direct the Unit for replacement.
                    I look forward for your immediate resolution to the mattter.

                      Hi team,
                      I purchased a pair of leather shoes worth rupess 1800 from one of your outlets in laxmi nagar new delhi on 21-dec-17 and after five months of normal use its soles have developed cracks. I went to the outlet and came to know that the shoes has only 3 months of warranty period which was lapsed and the outlet owner asked me to submit complaint to the company. This made me wonder that why would one go to a brand like yours if the product has to last for only six months, even the shoes purchased from local cobbler would easily last for six months for less than half the amount you charges. I don't think it is still the same bata company from which we used to borrow our school shoes which last more than 6 months. If you really care about your customers than its better you should introspect about the quality you are delivering to us otherwise there are many brands nowadays available in the market to look for and even online markets offer better options than yours. Its a breach of trust for me and i am really shocked to see your current quality. I hope you will learn from this.

                        On 5th september 2017, i bought 3 pairs of bata footwear, two pairs for my mom and one for me from viviana mall's outlet thane. The one which i purchased for myself gave me terrible shoe bite in the first use itself. From that day on, i used it hardly 1 or 2 times. As i have multiple pairs of footwear, i use the comfortable ones on daily basis (Flip-flops) and the formal ones occasionally.

                        I had my interview in capgemini on 28th april in vikroli. I had to wear the bata pair as it was an appropriate formal footwear with the formal dress (I had no other option). As i reached the office and walked in for the 1st round, whoa the heel came off. I was shocked as it was unexpected with just 3rd or 4th use from the popular brand 'bata'. The lady sitting beside me helped me with a rubber-band so that i can tie it around my feet and the shoe to hold it together. I was uncomfortable, lost all my confidence and embarrassed.

                        After the interview i went to the bata store in r-city mall ghatkopar and explained them the whole scenario. They apologized for the inconvenience and were convinced that the footwear was not used more than 3-4 times (By checking the condition). They helped me with the show fix glue as a temporary solution. They provided the details of my product, contact number of the customer care department and assured that my footwear will be replaced. As per the instructions, i called the customer care and registered the complaint and even the customer care executive (Abhishek) was convinced by acknowledging my problem. He assured that the product will be replaced once i receive an email from bata within 72 hours.

                        After 24 hours i received an email stating 'since the purchase was made more than 7 months back, we regret to inform that the product cannot be considered for a repair or replacement.' i find it very inappropriate to spend rs 1699 for just 3-4 uses! What a waste of money and time!

                        I requested to call the store manager of r-city outlet for validation or confirmation about the incident. Also please find attached pictures of the footwear. However they are temporarily fixed by applying the glue by the bata outlet of r-city.
                        Ps: if you find the footwear is damaged, then it might have happened when i struggled to walk till r-city mall after the heel came off.

                          I purchased the bata shoe with the thought that its branded company.
                          Within the 1 week of purchasing i came to know that leather was breaking.
                          It means this brand shoe' leather quality i very bad.
                          The cost of this shoe was 999 rs.
                          I complained to the bata dealer but he denied to do anything. So i came back and filling the online complaint.
                          It means bata is providing the poor quality to their consumer and making money.
                          They are playing with our trust. Please do some strict action on this.

                            I purchased slippers from bata store at punjabi bagh ext nwa road on 3rd april 2018 thinking that they may be expensive but will be of good quality since i was travelling abroad and needed to walk a lot
                            To my dismay the thread cane off after the first wearing only. I came back on 24rth and complained to the store. They directed me to call your helpline. I made a complaint on 25th april snd was told that i will get a mail to show to the store for replacement. No mail came till 30th and i called again. Again a lady gave me a complaint no 1100587 and told me that mail will come by evening. No mail.
                            I called and spoke to some vicky just now who was quite impatient and kept saying its not his fault!! He told me the request is pending!! Why did the others keep telling me that mail will be sent? Now vicky has asked for a photo of the item.
                            I am sending that. I di not have invoice as i did not imagine i will need it.
                            I am very disappointed at your quality and pathetic customer care. An old and reputed company like bata needs to be more proactive and considerate. I am a senior citizen and can afford to buy any number of items but i am also a social worker and journalist and detest the way consumers are treated after they have bought a merchandise in good faith.
                            I request you to send the mail for change of item asap. Please do not betray a consumers trust and trouble a genuine buyer. I have always bought bata products and never doubted the quality till now

                              I went to bata store to buy slippers and the sales guys were just standing there, to find the right size of my feet i had go on my knees and find the slipper. Later when i got my slipper and went to the billing counter the sales guy comes up and says he will bill it. When asked why was he just standing there when i needee help, he started behaving rudely, i asked for store manager and was told he was not there. I asked to speak to him over the phone and he was equally stubborn and rude using foul and abusive language. I believe his name was rafi.

                              This was the worst experience after so many visits to the same bata store

                                I purchased formal shoes for 900rs named remo by bata. I bought it on 12/12/2017 after 1 time o[censored]se it started to peel not the layer but wax kind of thing covered the top cover of shoe. I returned to shop where i bought but they refused to take it back.. Thats so disappointing i purchased it because of bata's quality but i screwed up at the end. If possible provide me new shoes or deliver me a free coupon to get new shoes..

                                  Dear sir,

                                  I bought a pair of hush puppies leather casual shoes for men which was very very comfortable and i was wearing the same on a regular basis. I followed this up with another one of the same article in color black as the earlier one was in dark brown.
                                  Last time i wore the dark brown one, a colleague of mine drew my attention to my shoe and i was amazed to find that the sole was peeling off and was on the verge of disintegration. I somehow managed to hide the same and return home from the business meeting absolutely embarrassed.
                                  I fail to understand how can such an expensive shoe loose its shape and sole so easily.

                                    I have major issues against my order number 12187227. I have been charged twice for the same order and whats worse is both transactions have been claimed by bata. 1 pair of shoe in that order is missing and 1 pair of is defective. Horrible customer service bata!!! Product number 50215857 is defective and 50215862 is missing. Photos have been attached.

                                      My name is subramonian and am aged 65. I am a retired bank official and am using exclusively bata products for more than 40 years. Seeing my attachment to this product, my children and family members numbering 5 are also addicted to this product.

                                      I bought a chap-pal costing around 700 some 10 days back and while paying the bill, i was told that i am eligible for some bonus points which entitles me for some reduction in price.

                                      Luckily, i had been today to your nagercoil shop with my wife and selected some 3 pairs of chap pals. When i told them that i am eligible for some reduction in price. Unfortunately i did not carry my mobile, since i reside very near to the showroom. They wanted the otp for the concession and i told them that i shall be coming back soon and requested them to keep the items separate. This happend at 6.30 and now at 7.30 when i went to collect the items, they picked the items from the shelf. I told them, dear friend dont make me come once again, i am not sure about the items, since it was selected by ladies. His immediate response was, were you not there when they selected. I told them, it is not my role in the selection and my role was to pay the bill only. The counter fellows response was evasive and was very rude in his behaviour.
                                      I have been purchasing from them for long and the earlier persons were customer friendly and were also polite, though i did not expect that from them. Since it is a period of time, many of them are known to me personnally and this present guys are rude and adament. Perhaps they are paid high whether or not there is business apart their commission. I am really sorry and i had to tell them, dont bill the items and i dont want to buy it when you are here.
                                      I am registering this as a complaint and wish that the persons incharge now in your nagercoil branch is also appraised of this. I want them to feel sorry for their indifference.
                                      Perhaps, if bata is also not bothered, i cant help. Iwant to hear from you as to whether you expect me to go for bata in future or not. The guys there should repent and say a sorry in addition to delivering the products home as a sort of punishment.

                                      I plan why i should not request all my friends in whatsup and facebook to desist from moving away from bata products. Also if i dont hear hear your confirmation, i intend to upload the crux of this letter in the web.
