Dear Bata, I live in Hyderabad, Telangana State, India. I have been your loyal customer for more than 15 years and I intended to be. But now, I dont think I can be one anymore. Here is why. In the past two years I could observe that there were not many variety that were being released by Bata. Every time I go to the bata store(with a gap of 6 months at least), I see the same old stock residing in the same old corner of the store, probably fresh with a new layer of dust. And the few new models that come in, are not available in my size (7), most of the times or are not in my price range sometimes. Despite this fact, I have time and again returned to Bata and ended up buying one of your footware half-satisfied, because I am someone, who prefers Quality and Comfort more than anything else in my footware. But the one incident changed my opinion on coming back to bata happened like this. To try finding some new models of footware I went to another brach of Bata that is located at, Kothapet, Hyderabad, India. However the same story repeated and I was having a tough time finding a good pair of footware. On top of that a sales girl kept following me as like a police behind a suspected thief. Neither was she helping me find a proper pair, nor was she leaving my back. It was hardly 20min that I was in the store, that the sales girl following me came face to face with me and said the following in a curt tone or rather say it was little on the harsh side of the tone, in telugu (the regional language) ..."Will it be over today? You have been seeing for so much time, and din't select even one piece. If you want more models, go to another shop."...(indirectly she was showing me the door!!!)... This is something I never faced in any store all my life, and never expected it to face from a store like BATA. Later on I learnt that even my friend faced similar situation in the same store. I don't intend to disclose neither my identity nor have I made an effort to find the details of the sales girl. I am not even sure what made the sales girl speak like that(was it her natural way of dealing people, or if she was just having bad days). I am not writing this message to blame any one. I am writing this, to bring to notice the things that your customers have been facing at your stores; because I believe that you care for them and will make necessary reforms for them. I am writing this, because I don't like to see my once upon a time favourite brand going down like this. Your, Dissappointed customer :(

    Purchase a purse of Marie claire from a Bata shoeroom in new Delhi CP for rs 1700 model no.[protected]X46200786, with in a month the leather handles started cutting.. The same got it exchanged with tussle. Then in exchange purchased another purse on 20.05.15. for rs 2000 vide receipt no. 3003/20.05.15 model no. [protected]X46200124.Withhin 10 daye the handles of the bag came out, the stitiching wss so poor. Now since i had coupons of Bta from Payback every time i m exchanging the money is being deducted. I am really suffering by spending on Bata. Now instead of exchanging would like my reimbursement back as dont want any Bata product now.. Kinly reimburse my amount else going the same to be publicise . Two of my friends also bought two purses and facing the same problem. would like my issue to be resolved immediately.

        This is Shilpi Dua from Jaipur.This is regarding the telephonic conversation with your customer care executive on 27th may 2015 about a defected footwear. Regarding the same I had received a system generated mail which says my request has been registered with reference number : 406987. But I did'nt received any further mail from the company concerning the exchange of the product (which I should get in 3 working days as mentioned by the executive). Please look into the matter. The above complaint is written by me 2 time and there is no reply from the company and on the customer care number no one picks the call. This is very annoying and irritating and above all, least expected from company like BATA.

          Dear Sir/ Madam Myself Dr Sumit Sanotra, I am regular costumer of bata India. I had purchased a Bag for my mother on mother day on[protected] vide memu no. F[protected] from your store at purani mandi Jammu. But the skin of the bag got damaged after the purchase of 10 days. Now the store refused to change it, because at that date the store was offering an discount of 20%. Now I have one question to esteemed company like Bata, is it a crime to purchase discounted product. If one can spend 1500 for a product, that it hardly matters for one to pay another 20 % (ie rs 300).               I have purchased Article no 818-9734 Rs. 2299/- INR shoes size UK-11 from Bata Shoe Store - Noida Sector 18 Bata's shop and for the Manufacturing problem i replaced it from 808-9748 Article INR 1999/- but in this article i faced Soul problem again so that i again complaint and change with same article. than third time in18 days i face soul problem again. and this time i take article no 808-6319 in 7th of april and This time it tear from the side . Really i totally fed up to Bata's Quality and Think about consumer form for poor quality, Now i don't want to replace and waste my time . Now i want my money back, Not want replacement it because of poor quality and wasting my time as well as money to visiting your Shop again and again more than two-three times.                 dear sir, i am vivek from kothrud, pune. 6 months before i had purchased a pair of maroon colour shoes from your retail outlet. Within 6 months o[censored]se i loss shoe colour from maroon to white on toe of shoe. so my shoes itself doing bad publicity of bata in my organization and in my friend circle. when i went to your retail outlet they told me arrogantly that they are not responsible for what bata sold to you. That what i got from bata in 1699RS. All i want to say suggest me solution for this and you should take strict action against your supplier.

                    I purchased a product from bata showroom, Abu Lane, Meerut Cantt (UP), the product was defective so i requested the shopkeeper to refund my money. he was agressive and replied in a very bad manner. He added polythene prices in my bill, on enquiring about the same from him he said it just costs 0.75, instead he added 2.55 in my bill, also he replied back "aap to 2 rupee ke liye halla macha rahi ho". on asking my money back he was replying in a very bad manner and replied me back " aap apne paise lo aur kaam niptao". Is this the way your dealers talk to their customers.? I really wonder what type of franchise you give to such short tempered and ill mannered people who do not have any sense to talk. this is really bad on your part if no action is taken against it. I request you to take some serious action against that person or i will take some severe action against it. THANK YOU

                        hi, i really regret that you BATA customer service providers are so irresponsible with your duties.Even you don't feel to respond a call, then why you people are providing a contact number, please delete or mention it as not working. Coming to the point, i borrowed a bag from madinaguda, hyderabad Bata Showroom in october worth Rs2000, and within a 2 months i got a repair, so i visited to that store and mentioned that, the store person asked me to mail me to the provided email address and asked me to send photos. My husband provided, they provided a complaint no 395728 and asked us to wait, so that they will contact us soon, but till date no call, neither lifting my call i was waiting in call for 30mins while listening the Bata song, i dont know how much you people are busy while solving the customers problem. So please tell me what shall i do.Sorry to say now a days BATA dont have nor quality neither services.

                          I BOUGHT A PAIR OF BATA SCHOLL LADIES SHOE FROM BATA SHOWROOM(14 A P C ROAD, KOLKATA-700 009) ON 4TH APRIL, 2015.PRICE WAS RS-1999/-.AFTER TWO WEEKS I NOTICED A SERIOUS DEFECT IN MY SHOE.THERE WAS A MAJOR STEACHING PROBLEM.THEN I WENT TO THE SHOWROOM BECAUSE BATA GAVE ME REPLACEMENT WARRENTY FOR TWO MONTHS.BUT THE EMPLOYEE OF THE SHOWROOM SAY THAT PRODUCT ARE NOT IN STOCK.THEY EXCUSED THAT AUDIT IS GOING ON & ALL OPERATIONS ARE CLOSED.AFTER ONE WEEK I WENT TO THE SHOWROOM WITH MY FATHER .THEY GAVE THE SAME EXCUSE & SUGGEST FOR BUYING ANY OTHER ITEM .                                 I have Purchased bata shoes from Bata India Ltd., Bata Shoe Store, 53 Main Market Sarojini Nagagr New Delhi, Ph. no.[protected], The Product i purchased, become faulty withe pasting of sole after wearing 1 hour, when i visited concerned for replacement the concern store manager did misbehave with me, and told this is not manufacturing defect, i have to visit your shop numerous time, which incurs unnecessary cost. Kindly confirm what is manufacturing defect. Company Like Red Tape, Lee Cooper, Luis Philip, never misbehave like your store managers.

                                    I had purchased a pair of bellies (BILL NO. 0284)from Bata in karol bagh on 3rd may 2015 before going out of station and the footwear broke on the way itself. As soon as I returned I went to the store in order to file a complaint and demand an exchange. Instead of replacing the product the staff person (Mr. Chauhan) spoke rudely and did not cooperate with us. This has been one of the worst experience for me from Bata. Its sad to say that the quality of the product has been deteriorated and the company has no responsibility towards their customers. Will not recommend Bata footwears to anyone.

                                    i had hardly wear 3 or 4 times the whole shoes sole has open and the grip of the sport shoes has coming out whole pasting is open he sole and the grip pasting

I am still here waiting for something to be done with this useless pair of footwear that I bought from Bata India Karol Bagh that dint even work for a day. I am not satisfied with your response. There is no option otherwise I would have rated you zero due to your irresponsibility. I am sending my details again kindly provide me with the solution as soon as possible.

                                    Chapel damaged

                                    i had bought the BATA chapel in Coimbatore D.B Road, R.S puram showroom.i use this chapel one and half month only.now that chapel not able to use beacuse chapel damaged.

                                      I HAD PURCHASE A SHOES FROM ONE OF YOUR PRESGTIOUS STORE IN ROHINI CITY CENTRE IN DELHI THREE MONTHS BACK ART NO ; 854-6971 IN THREE MONTHS THE BOUNCE IS PUNCHER HOW ITS POSSIBLE . I AM REGULAR CUSTOMER OF BATA FOR THE LAST 20 YEAR I AM REGULAR WEAR HUSH PUPPIES SHOES & SLIPPER NEVER FOUND ANY COMPLAINT IN THIS PARTICULAR BRAND .SO I REQUEST YOU PLS REPLACE MY SHOES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE . MY NEAR BY STORE IS ROHINI CITY CENTRE IN ROHINI DELHI . WAITING FOR YOUR ANSWER THANX KAMAL NARULA

                                        i had purchased bata men shoe worth rs 1499 in aug 2014. but within 5 days there was problem of sole pasting in right hand shoe. i changed it and got another shoe. but that shoe also had same problem. its pasting had not lasted for 15 days. again i went to your shop, this time they told me that they will repair this shoe. now after 7 months this problem has occurred once again on the same shoe. sole of both the shoes are showing cracks. so what should i do now. your shoes of worth rs 1499 are not lasting even eight months. please take appropriate action and change my shoe, so that i have full faith in your brand.
