please unsubscibe from handygo fever offer from bsnl.i get sms every 2 days saying that it will be renewed and 8rupees gets cut from my account.has happened 8-10times now inspite of complaining to customer care.this is last chance or bsnl would lose a loyal customer

I got message that I have subscribed for "Xplore Pack" from Handygo and money for 30/- got deducted from my account.
I have neither subscribed for this nor I know about this.
It seems this kind of fraud is there for quite a while as I see lot of similar complaints on this site.
It is really pity that many people are facing the same problem again and again and no action is taken agains these fraudsters.
i got a message from 55678030 saying thanks for subscribing xplore pack from handygo and deducted 30 rupees from my account this is outrageous i have subscribed to no such thing i tried complaining in bsnl office they simply replied unsubscribe what if they did the same next month too they got no answer to this this totally unaccountable behavior
What the fuc# is this handygo .. when i had never subscribed to any such then how the hell i am getting such msg that thank you and when i send unsub fever to 55678 they had deducted 2 rs and send me mesg that due to wrong code we are unable to unsubscribe .. Kindly unsubscribe me from this service or else i will take some legal action against you ...my no is [protected]

BSNL/HANDYGO — fever offer

I request for the necessary action against wap.handygo.com for changing Rs. 8 per week for an unknown service and not responding to any call / sms made for inquiry about this deduction.
Me too requested the SDE(Mobile), Sibsagar circle, Assam to take necessary steps not to disturb me by the feveroffer of handygo[protected] with DND option but still they are illegally debiting from my account of [protected] every week. If BSNL fails to block this I will definitely switch over to other service provider with the same mobile number.

BSNL never listens the complaints from subscribers. No one answers even if complaint is lodged. There is no complaints cell function for
for subscribers. Complainants who not opted for any service are unnecessarily forced to contact BSNL for no reason. The reason is
created by BSNL for raising comlaints. This is too ugly system prevails. Is there no official to check and correct? Do they want the system to be
redressed through complaints to Consumer Forum?

I think this Fever offer is activated by the Customer service agents themselves. They are private agencies and they benefit from activating these services. I had this for 6 times and when I complain they give naughty replay. They force us to leave BSNL and choose another network provider. I strongly suspect hands of other network providers behind this.

      I am trying to stop auto renewal every month with charges Rs,10/- and receiving sms reg, stock updation from 54000 and have lodged complains with BSNL custermar care thrice for one month docket nos. 4016153, 5047187 dt.24/1/10 and 5181659 dt. 23/2/10. Till now no positive outcome and misguided me.

      I request to STOP this SMS from 54000 immediately.

      stock update from 54000 — Stop auto reneval of stock updates

      Every month 54000 is charging Rs 10/- for stock updates automatically without my consent . There is no action on mssgs sent by us. Please penal for defamation BSNL. Strong action is required against 54000

      There was offer of 'free for one week' service which i subscribed . Now today also I received 4 messages at 17.16, 17.18, 17.19, 17.20 hours "Thanks for using our Stock Service. Your Service has been renewed for next 30 days.Rs.10 charged." four times

      Thus (4 x 10=40Rs.) 40 Rs has been charged.

      The fact is that no service is being provided.
      I want to unsuscibe this unprovided service which is (un)provided by no. 54000 on bsnl mobile.I do not want this service. Actually they do not give any service and deduct Rs.40(10x4) for nothing. It is fraud played on customers. My mobile no. is [protected]. Please get deactivated the so called Stock Service from my said number.The 4 times deduction (4 x 10=40Rs.) is made by [protected]
      I request to STOP SMS from 54000 immediately.

          I recently recharged with the new BSNL GPRS unlimited
          plan Rs 274 hoping to get unlimited GPRS.
          To my surprise, it instead started charging for both
          browsing and downloading.At first, it didn't deduct from main
          balance but later on it started to deduct even from main balance.I
          found out that this was because it was first deducting from the 274 which it
          didn't show since it was a recharge voucher and later on after this is finish, it then starts deducting from main account.
          I've already tried this 274 twice and it didn't work on both occasions,so
          I've lost more than Rs 500 total.Now isn't this cheating since
          the 274 plan was actually for unlimited GPRS and they are instead
          deducting money.
          Before this, the 230 GPRS unlimited voucher was working fine.

          BSNL — GPRS in not working since 28-Oct

          Hi,

          My name is Pratik Tiwari. I am holding an Prepaid number [protected] in the name of my father "Subhashchandra Tiwari".
          My location is "Nagpur".

          I was using the GPRS to browse the internet on my Sony Erricson W700i handset for quite a long time. But since 28-Oct-2009 it suddenly stopped working. I have already contacted the Customer Care (docket no. 3394434). But till now the problem is not soved.

          I have already checked the GPRS setting with the help of your Customer Casre Associate and the settings are correct.

          Whenever I try to connect internet it gives me the error message "Connection failed. Contact your service provider."


          I have contacted the Customer Care several times but I did not get the satisfactory answer or the reason for the problem I am facing.

          One more thing, I have shifted to the 1 paisa plan few days back. May be that is creating some problem, but I am not sure.

          I here by request you to please sort out my problem in urgent.

          I have also the same problem. I used the gprs voucher of 274 rupees on 7th March, 2010. On 13th of March, More than 100 Rupees was deducted from my main balance. i am really shocked. I spoke to [protected] people. They have no idea and no answer. I requested them to look in to the problem. They say that they will connect me to the senior officer... and after the line cuts. its horrible!!!

          We all know that there are few PSUs in India who deliver convenient service to the customers. However I have been looking out for this 274 plan. I suggested you all to opt it if it is a 3G service as 3G service delivers a thunder like speed. However many GSM players are about to introduce their 3G services. So we can wait for a while. However Tata Photon is grabing many users due to it's fast speed which is some how eqivalent to 3G!! For money savers, Aircel Pocket Internet or Airtel 98 pack for surfing purpose is much sufficent. Reliance GSM has a range of packs but it's data access is slow during peak hrs.
          The Choice is yours. Pls confirm anybody if the BSNL 274 plan is a 3-G plan or not.

            I got Bsnl internet connection in ahmedabad before 6 months, the Bsnl Evdo advertisement says u will get upto 2 mbps speed, but i never got more then 256 kbps, this is very rubbish internet service, i m very re grate to purchase bsnl evdo connection worth Rs 4300. pls do not purchase this Rubbish internet service, pls go and purchase internet connection from some private company, this is better way for u.....

              hi,for 1 month i am suffering from continues disconnection of internet. i cant use the net continuously, so that i have to reload the web pages and also cant download data.
              i have notified this to BSNL people but when they come to see the problem they cant find any thing. Also they checked the wires,but nothing. They said they cant do anything!!!!!!!!! saying that this may be due to cold weather.
              my friends in my locality have the same problem,they suffer these all..........
              May be this is due to the BSNL server problem or may be their HUB problem,but they ignoring this fact and saying they don't know..........

              what can i do......,i cant browse normally.

              Sir, I am facing the broadband problem from 15th of July for which I had requested to all the concerns thru telephonic messages and other ways. The problem contents the error 691 continuously, for exceptional it has 676 and 718 (sometimes it connects also and works properly up to disconnection but after disconnection, it is very difficult to coneect again).

              The telephone numbers which were addressed are: [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], the online PG complaint (no. HAR/C0/2008/2158) and mails also sent to the Authorities (Some of them delivered and some undelivered).

              It is very strange that a customer is making complaints regularly but problem is not solving.

              The mails ID are also blocked or wrong which are given on BSNL SITE, as mails are not delivered to all authorities.
              our ADSL comes very late or goes frequently or does'nt come for a long time .

              My problem is with bsnl office located in Vasai, Papdi(w)
              the employees are highly paid for no reason because they never do things ontime, my BroadBand connection is not yet send to my house, i don't know why, but everytime i go to office they say the connection is not established and Mr.Singh is incharge and when i talk to him he say that check in a month or so, and tell me to leave the office, all my friends have BroadBand connection who ordered later than my order, my order no, is 1160 and from month of Apr.2008 i did not get the Connection

              I have taken a BSNL broadband connection in the month of November'08
              under 500 combo plan. Although my broadband service has been activated in the
              month of November'08 (received user id and password), till date I am unable to use the service. Whenever I try to connect, I get the message error 678. I even went to Ranikuthi Exchange,
              where I was told that my laptop is infected with virus due to which this problem
              cannot be solved. But now I have formatted my laptop and reinstalled Operating System, but
              still the problem persists. I have written a mail on 12th Jan, 14th Jan, 16th Jan and 25th Jan regarding this to their consumer grievance but till date no one responded.
              I took a broadband connection from BSNL, but it is often getting dis-connected or getting struck.. i could not get continuous connection even for half an hour.

              I am regular user of Broadband. My user ID is “abirdindia”.
              Following my below message to you on the 30th March; I tried calling your contact numbers from time to time.
              I have tried calling/was successful in getting through to speak to your staff on the following numbers:

              6. O[protected]
              I was able to lodge complaints twice nos- 310404 on 23/04/09 and 314207 on 30/04/09

              Every time I dial the numbers I am either asked to wait and or I am told, sir I will check and will tell you- then there is a total silence for a number of minutes and then the line is cut off with out saying anything.
              I was fortunate enough to have some favourable response some times when I am told that in 48 hours your connection will be restored. Sometimes one tells me, “I will call you on your phone”. They even take my alternate phone but no luck. It so happened that there was a call back but nothing worked.

              I have lost so much of my valuable time and also lots of my professional business. I don’t know what should I do now.

              Could someone help me restore my broadband connectivity?

              My BSNL BROADBAND CONNECTION works only intermitently and the modem switches off intermittently.Kindly look into the matter and rectify it at the earliest.
              I am using BSNL broadband plan 750 but i am facing problem of discontinuety. we have work on VPN discontinuty will cause demage in work
              we are not able to access usage detail thought entering valid ID and password.
              I have intermittent broadband connection. I tried calling several bsnl numbers of our local bsnl office which was provided by them but all in vein. No one attends the call. Even if you try thousand times, no one bothers to attend the call. I wonder if anyone is employed in our local Avadi bsnl office. Service is pathetic. Even my landline device is not working properly and when I took the device to the office, they sent me back saying no one is there to attend and asked to me call and come. When I call, no one attends. Its really frustrating.
              I really request any BSNL higher official to overlook whats going on in our local bsnl office in Avadi, Chennai. Also please help me out in resolving my problem.

                The services of BSNL BROADBAND in Kolkata is worst. Each and everyday we have to face the same problem of link failure(error:678). The complaints done via 1504 (customer care no.) gets attended and corrected after a minimum of 3 to 4 days. Either "server down" or "at maintenance" these are the common excuses of the local telephone offices and executives. Even if they are corrected it only stays stable for 1 day maximum and again the problem persists. If this continues then we people are left with nothing but to shift to the services of other broadband providers. Its an earnest request to you to please see to this matter and it'l be very nice and kid of you if you can resolve this problem as soon as possible.

                  I am ten year old cellphone customer of BSNL post paid service.Recently I wanted to change the service from postpaid to prepaid by keeping the same number.I was asked to pay Rs.115 for change of plan.After payment the service started. After few charging I wanted to change to "Lifetime prepaid" service because my usage now was minimal after retirement from service.To my surprise I was asked to deposit another Rs 345 for conversion of plan.BSNL is advertising a new Lifetime Plan only for Rs.20/- ,however the old and loyal customer are required to shell out Rs.345/- for converting their plan to Lifetime.
                  This discrepancy was brought to the notice of officers of BSNL at Nagpur but they say "Rule is Rule" perhaps they do not bother about old customer.In fact I can get new Lifetime connection for Rs.20/- but for keeping the same ten year old phone number like a "Pound of Flesh" now BSNL is asking Rs.345/- which I feel is most unfair practice.

                    I paid BSNL landline bill today through Online (the amount is 3347/-rs)
                    amount is deducted from my account but payment is not updated in the site.

                    the payment i made through ABNA amro bank. and the reference number is ( BSNL Bangalore Payment Ref No.:BSN5278429 )

                    and last month by mistake Phone bill is paid Two times. even in the amount paid it shows double amount of bill. how will u adjust this amount. and how can i claim back my amount.

                      I am user of BSNL cellone postpaid from J&K. It is unfortunate that BSNL is charging its customers on checking the unbilled amount (USG to 53333). I smell malafide intension behind it, because when all other service providers like Airtel, Aircel, Reliance and Tata Indicom are providing the service totally free of cost why the BSNL is charging its customers for checking unbilled amount of their usage. It is clear that they do not want transperancy in billing like other service providers.

                        We had a broadband service against BSNL telephone connection (Tel No.[protected] years back. As a satisfied BSNL broadband customer in the past that time we opted for a yearly BB scheme with modem purchase option. Surprisingly in the first two months of taking the BB service literally we could not be able to use the broadband due to its continuous connection problem through out the day. We have not been entertained or satisfied even after repeated complaints to the BB customer care. In the meantime the monthly bill came with all the future and past charges and that was too with a lump sum amount (approx. INR 5500). We requested BSNL through several letterers with proper history of the problem to settle down the account after sending a revised bill which should exclude all the future charges. But even after multiple requests (3 letters in 6 months with many meetings) no body has shown any interest to solve the matter except posting few letters informing regular general scheme to activate the disconnected lines but there is no mistake of sending regular usage bills in spite of no use of telephone service since temporarily withdrawn.

                        Please help us to overcome the mental distress and anxiety of something unresolved with increasing usage bills.

                        Sir/ Madam,

                        My Telephone No is[protected], associated with Palladam Telephone Exchange. Some Government Agency has damaged our telephoneline while digging and my telephone is out of order for the past 45 days. Even after several personal visit to the Palladam Telephone Exchange and complaint through mail to BSNL, no action have been taken till date.

                        Kindly suggest me the suitable authority to whom should I complain for an immediate action.

                        So far, I use to clear the bills on date. I would like to know the reason for not taking any action in this regard. Because, when somebody rang to my number, it says "the connection to number is temporarily disconnected". When they call to my mobile they ask whether I paid my bills or not. It spoils my reputation.

                        I made a complaint about bbservice.bsnl.in not opening. Later I found the solution also and wish to share with all concerned.
                        First open BSNL site. Then select BSNL unit ( state/ territory)
                        Then search for BSNL Broad Band button and click.Then select check usage.DO NOT FILLUP DATAONE cols. Go down and select Usage Detail Portal.There fillup Portal ID and Password and submit.You will get your BB usage details.
                        I regret for registering a complaint without trying all options.

                        BSNL — Broadband Usage dispute/payments

                        I am resident of Lucknow. Bsnl Broad Band is on my Fathers Name : H U Hashmi, Phone Number[protected],
                        o behalf of my father, I subscribe for the internet broad band Plan of 900+ unlimited usage. But by the mistake of BSNL staff i have been subscribed for limited usage plan .. and after 2 month when i recieved the bill of above 18000/-.
                        when asked for the form that i submited at the time of subscribtion and the plan, BSNL officials auable to present the actual form ... this dispute is about a year old now Land line has been diasconnected. officials are not cooperating and no proper responce from them.with out usage bill are piling up and addon intrest is also piling ...
                        please help me to resolve the problem.

                        BSNL Broadband — WITHDRAWAL OF CONNECTION

                        Dear Sir,

                        This is to bring to your notice that despite of paying the bill amounts on time for using BROAD BAND of BSNL the connection for the same was withdrawn. Because of this carelessness on BSNL part I was not able to use the internet and some of my urgent work couldn't get accomplished on time. I therefore need a justification for the same and compensation (if any) so that this kind of mistakes should not be repeated for others.

                        I suggest the concerned department to confirm to the consumer on his fault (if any) before penalizing or withdrawing the connection

                          I took d 299 combo plan 4 broad band usage in August 2009. suddenly i've recieved my jan 2010 bill of 2287 rs. i've been charged 277 for each month as fixed charges since aug. i dunno that scheme didnt specify anythin. i've rcd n payed bill of approx 300 every mnth. so y dese charges. my bb usage has nvr crossed 1gb limit. wat should i do. ?? bsnl call centre ppl have no idea. lekha adhikari says these r being added 2 all bills. but y? r othrs wid same scheme rcving same sort of bill . but y? bsnl page shows no such charge.

                            I registered for a new connection of landline and broadband of BSNL in JP nagar bangalore Details below. I got tired of calling their office and am getting vague reasons all the time. I was told that there was cable shortage and pair shortage while i really checked that a cable of 6 line capacity located next to my house is used for only 3 connections so far. I find these excuses very lame to believe. I want a refund of my 500 rupees deposited with them.

                                  I am a very old customer of BSNL. earlier I was having TATA BROADBAND services. However, I was lured by BSNL that their charges are less and services are better . In addition being a PSU staff I will also get 20% rebate on my monthly billing. I applied for the same in the month of july 2009 and the same was registered in BSNL OFFICE (ALAMBAGH, LUCKNOW) ON 4.8.09. thereafter I met each and every official of ALAMBAGH Exchage/lodged so may complaints toGM's Office, met DGM SHRI Mishra at Alambagh Office, sent sms to GM/DGM but still 20% discount is not being given on monthly bills. Kindly do the needful or I will left with no option but to switch overtosome other service provider.

                                    I have been paying my moms bill using the internet. and for the past 15 or 20 days this site is down. in today age of internet the service provided by BSNL can be a far cry from even been pathetic. I hope BSNL resolves the issue and get this site working. The site being down is helping bsnl ratings
                                    I have availed free SIM against my Landline No.2230348 under 'Pryri Jodi Scheme' during February, 2011. Now I got a message to the effect that if I refill for Rs.110/-, I will get a talk time worth Rs.100/- and validity extension for another six months.

                                    For getting the Top Up Voucher, I approached the QCS of Khadakpada yesterday. But unfortunately, it is not available with them and guided me to go to Kala Talao. Why an organization like BSNL is not keeping stock of refills in such a location, where thousands of people are staying.

                                    Concerned authorities may perhaps take necessary action for stocking all sorts of Prepaid products in all the offices of BSNL, which will help to increase their revenue in the first instance, as also help the consumers for saving money, effort and time.
