On November 16, 2009 we got BSNL broadband Internet service connection via wired telephone[protected]. Since then, there had been major service interruptions two times due to problem in the wired telephone lines. First one lasted about a week and the second one started about a week ago and there is no end in sight. We are being told that due to road construction work along the telephone line route the broadband service has been interrupted. BSNL officials in Dhanbad told us that they do not know when the service would be restored. Still we have to pay our monthly fee of Rs.500.00 for the service. BSNL provides both wired telephone service as well as broadband internet service. It should be BSNL responsibility to assure that the Internet service work satisfactorily. If there is a prolong interruptions as it is anticipated this time, the broadband monthly fee should be prorated accordingly for the affected billing period.

BSNL Broadband — broadband connection intruptions

form many days my broad band connections is not working well. Though the dsl lite is that is orange lite is constant but unable of access internet.
I have a brodeband connection of BSNL. It may be very difficult to get connection during night time.The DSL terminal blinks continueouly but status singnal and the intrnet terminal remain silent for the rest of the time. If i get a connection during night time it may be a miracle. Please try to rectify the defect.

I got broadband connection over landline no.[protected].My name is Prem Prakash Singh, staying at Tata Steel officer's colony, Diwadih no.12.My first complaint (1)During procuring connection, I submitted all the documents asked by the BSNL official of CFRI exchange for the purpose.Despite providing all the supporting document to the department, they misspelt my name as Prem Shankar Singh in place of Prem Prakash Singh.I requested the official incharge of CFRI exhange to get it corrected, he ensured that that would be taken care of by them and my name would be corrected immediately.After six month of my connection as it was not rectified then I tried to put an application on the above
issue but the office incharge refused to take the application and directed me to go head office, Dhanbad.When you are talking about quality service, then to rectify a mistake which was committed by your department, why a customer would suffer? Please help me.
(2) As far as billing is concern, I am been charged Rs 304.00 extra in every bill in the head of ARDR INSTALMENT.My BB plan is Rs 299.00 per month.In place Rs.598.00 bimonth, I am getting bills of Rs.905.00 plus taxes.Please clarify. Please rectify our net connection of Tel no 2302395, where net is not working from last two days.Dial tone is there but net connection is not working.matter urgent.

    I am not getting regular monthly bill for which I had also submitted a written complaint in BNSL office at Trimulgherry circle along with a copy of my current address, but to no use. However, due to non-receipt of monthly bill of my aforesaid landline I am unable to pay the bill amount on or before due date. I would also like to bring to your kind notice that in case BSNL disconnects my internet/landline connection due to non-payment of bill, I will not be responsible for the same as I am not getting my bills regularly.

    BSNL — Receiving the Bills

    I have 3 Landline connections. I m regular on my payments. But from last 4 months i m constantly receiving my Landlin Bill on last due payemnt date and sometime after due date.

    I complained many times to BSNL offices but they blame Postal department for late dispatch of bills and when I complained to Post Master they blamed BSNL for not giving bills on time.

    This is just open naked dirty game of blaming each other. No one is guilty for this matter, nor postal zone nor bsnl office. Due to this customers like me have to pay the dues + late fees [40-100 rs. per bill].

    This is rediculus services although Gujarat is developing state, but v middle class peple still have to suffer.

    I got a BSNL broad band connection on sep 09. Till now I did not receive any bills. When I check with the Billing personnel in the office they just asked me to give complaint in post office as the billing address in the system is correct. But I told them that I received my bank statements and other bills with the same address. then they told me that they are helpless in this case. Please suggest me what to do.

    dataone services are deteriorating day by day no response to complaints very slow speed, unability to utilize facilities as chacking uses web mail cleaning etc.

      Dear Sir,

      I am also facing with my internet connection. It gets disconnected most of times in between when i use the internet. I had complained many times to Mr. Rana (Bahadurgarh BSNL, Bahadurgah) and Mr. Anil (BSNL, Bahadurgarh) about it. It does work when current is there or you can say when other persons use the internet. They are telling me that when other persons use internet, my internet get disconnected. Why it is happening? What may be the problem?

      I also want to know about free e-mail id. how can i create it.

      Plese provide me all these information, so that i can get better use of the internet.

      dear sir, my broad band not doing work properly when i want add some one on skype showing error ( u have seems not a active internet conection pls chek ur conection ) my pc is ok . first i thought some problam in my pc then i did chek my pc to another person house bsnl broadband conection and result there is add some one to skype that means some problam in my conection not in my pc . i did many comeplant to bsnl office but no responce so pls do my help pls

        I'm a cunsumer of BSNL Postpaid connection since last 2006. From last few months back the service provider disconnected my phone lines without informing outstanding @ Rs. 565/- though my credit limit Rs. 2000/-.Also,they added previous paid amount in next the next bill. I think it's trick of them to collect extra re-connection charge Rs. 100/-. I"ve one more complain, while I'm trying to take Hello Tunes service they accept my request but it's not worked though I've branded handset of Motorola company.

          Iam using an old students suvida sim. my number starts with '9447' series. so recently (about 1 week before)
          i started getting sms balance alert whenever i sent a msg. its really a pretty gud facility. but wen i started sending group sms the facility began to malfunction. after sending the group sms i was not able to get the sms balance alerts . also I WAS NOT ABLE TO CHECK MY BALANCE WITH*123# OR *102#,PLEASE HELP ME.I TRIED CUTOMRER CARE BUT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE SUFFICIENT HELP.

          BSNL — CHARGING FOR SMS ALERTS

          FROM 56505 A SERVICE IS BEEN PROVIDED WITH THE NAME OF GRANDMAA TIPS TO WHICH I HAVE NOT SUBSCRIBED. THE MONTH LY CHARGES ARE 15 RUPEES. TO CANCEL THE SERVICE I SPENT MORE THAN 30 RUPEES. IT IS NOT LESS THAN CHEATING ON THEIR PART. I HOPE THE WILL ACT WISELY AND CANCEL THE UNWANTED SERVICE FOR WHICE THEY ARE CHARGING SHAMEFULLY.

            Dear Madam / Sir,

            It has been only 3 months since using BSNL Broadband service in my rented house in jamshedpur. The connection was established and became fully functional on 18 August 2009. For the first 3 months the bills were fine and according to the plan suggested.
            PLAN: 500 Combo with free download from 2 AM to 8 AM everyday. Rest for the month is 1.5 GB
            Pls find the details of the last 3 months billing:

            1. SEPT 09:

            Total Charge: 552
            Duration o[censored]sage: 30 days

            2. OCT 09:

            Total Charge: 552
            Duration o[censored]sage: 31days

            3. NOV 09:

            Total Charge: 3511
            Duration o[censored]sage: 25 days
            Things that were new this month:
            NPC Inst charges: 500
            ARDR installment: 83.33
            NET:3100 Discn 15% : 2107
            taxes: 310
            Gross total: 3000

            I would like to have clarification of the extra charges that have been added without a reason. Pls let me know as to whom should I contact for the same and if you are the right person I am approaching, pls resolve.

              I am having cell one mobile No [protected] in my name with vennela scheme. when BSNL offered full talk after detailed discussion I have opted to recharge with Rs.3300/- coupon and details shown on that day in my handset as vennela plus scheme: "balance: Rs.3700, validity: 3 years, next recharge date: August 2010. Please recharge with Rs.100/- topup for validity extension." The outgoing call facility was stopped on 14-12-09 and a voice message was announcing to recharge immediately. After recharging with Rs.100/- top up (Coupon number[protected] , the outgoing service was resumed for 2 days and again the service is stopped on[protected]. On 19-12-09 I have requested the customer care [protected] to rectify the problem, but it was not done till now. Whenever i dial a number, i receive a message that the account is no longer valid. I still have a balance of Rs.3110/- in the mobile but not able to make any calls. Kindly do the needful immediately.

              iam a bsnl-cellone subscriber in andhra pradesh.my number is [protected]. i have bought a topup card of rs.55 and tried to recharge my mobile th the card. but, for the past 2 days, im getting a service reply, NETWORK BUSY PLS TRY LATER. i dunno wats wrong th the CELLONE.. i know i have to submit the SERIAL NO. of the TOPUP card here for u ppl to take some action, but, i cant practically disclose the service number on a public form. i have also called the customer care but no action is taken.. pls do something in this regard

                OCT-09 SMS CAME FROM #12630033 TO SUBSCRIBE MUSIC STATION.
                CHILDREN CLICK YES THAT SMS. RS. 19/- DEDUCT FROM MY BALANCE.
                9,NOV,2009 AGAIN SMS CAME TO CONTINIOU OR DISCONTINOU THE FACILITY.
                I TALKED WITH CUSTOMER CARE CELLONE. THEY REPLIED " TO UNSUBSCRIBE. WRITE UNSUBSCRIBE TO 12630033". I TRIED MANY MANY TIMES TO THAT NUMBER BUT SMS DID NOT GO.
                1,NOV,2009 AGAIN DEDUCTED RS. 19/-. SAME DAY I COMPLAINT TO CUSTOMER CARE THEY REPLIED THAT "DIAL TO 12630033". BUT WHEN I DIAL THE COMPUTER RESPONSES THIS NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST. I TRIED MANY....................MANY TIMES. BUT IN VAIN.
                THEN I REGISTERED COMPLAINT AT CUSTOMER CARE DOCKET NO. L11941539.
                BUT NO RESPONSE CAME TILL TODAY i.e. 19,DEC,2009.
                KINDLY HELP ME. I HAVE WASTED MORE THAN 5 HOURS AND MORE THAN 60 RUPEES IN THIS PROCESS. AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR THAT FACILITY WHICH NOT RESPONSES.

                  well, I have got a problem in my BSNL Broadband and the BSNL employees are not helping me. They are sure as they don't know anything.

                  I am calling them from last 2weeks and my complin sacket no is 30020 and even then they haven't solved my problem.



                  Whenever I connect it says "Error:691 Invalid username or password".

                  And I am using the correct one as supplied by bsnl.

                    Dear Sir,

                    This time bsnl Junagadh hired a private agency (chamunda suppliers) to deliver the telephone bills for the period of OCT-NOV but unfortunately they did not deliver the bill properly and when I contact them about the bill, they did not replied satisfactory. If they do not deliver the bill in time the question is that who will pay the penalty? and moreover how could i get that bill? so I request you that please deliver the bills next time by Indian postal service.

                    Hope that i will receive the positive result at your end at the earliest.

                      My self Mayur Panchal from Ahmedabad.

                      Before 6 month i have BSNL broadband internet Connection. But at that time My internet was not working anymore. I had complain many times at Naroda BSNL Exchange office about this problem.And also i personally visited there 2-3 days in a week and request authorized person about my problem but none of them take any action to resolved my broadband internet connection issue properly. I had paid monthly rental of broadband without using this service. when i visit Naroda BSNL Exchange and told about my problem then one of the responsible person(I don't know his exact name but that is something like Mr. Patel) told me that we can't resolved your internet connection problem you disconnect/leave your BSNL broadband internet connection. I don't know how that person talk like this with their customer. I had complain many times for this problem if you want to check then you can also check in your database. you will find many complains about this issue.

                      And finally I Discoonect/Leave my internet because of your very very poor service.

                      Now i again applied for the BSNL Broadband service. and before 10 days they installed Broadband again at my home. The same situation is here now My broadband is not working anymore...

                      I had also complain 2 times Here is my current complain NO : 6480
                      My BSNL Landline No : 22802139

                      No action has been taken yet. I am at office and Everytime they call at my home and just ask your broadband is working or not? But i already told them there is problem in telephone line. Even In my telephonr there is lot of disturbance. So i think they just have to check my telephone line and replace it with new wire. I don't think this problem is very big issue and it takes many months to resolve. but i don't know who will be the responsible for this.I have to pay monthly rental without using your broadband internet service.

                      Help me to solve my problem

                      Myself Rakesh from Surat.
                      I have taken BSNL broadband connection, but not working properly from last month.
                      I have complaint many times but they didn't give proper response.

                      They give different contacts no. and say talk to them, we can not do anything.
                      They have given some irrelavant no. bsnl for broadband complaint like 197 etc.

                      They are not talking proper with us.

                      I have complaint twice on 1504. On first talk they denied to give me complaint no.
                      They are also not saying that to solve this problem how much time take.

                      FROM LAST 6 MONTH I AM NOT ABLE TO CONNECT MY BROADBAND CONNECTION AND I AM REGISTERD MY COMPLAIND IN BSNL SAHARANPUR OFFICE APPROX 40 TO 50 TIME BUT THEAR IS NO SOLUTION FOR MY PROBLEM. MANY TIME THEY TOLD ME THAT MY LINE IS FAULTY – MY MODEM IS FAULTY – MY COMPUTER IS FAULTY BUT THEY DON’T NOW WHAT EXACT HAPPENED IN THIS CONNECTION AND I AM CONTINUING PAY THE BILL OF MY INTERNET CONNECTION JUST BECAUSE THIS NUMBER IS IMPORTANT FOR US .                               I purchased a BSNL Saral Anant card at BSNL Chinchwad (Pune 411033) branch on 10th Dec 09. I was promised the card would be activated by next day morning & I may recharge it with a top-up card. I purchased a Rs.55 top-up card, as suggested, on 11th Dec 09 & tried recharging in the afternoon. After several failed attempts of recharging I called bsnl helpdesk (dumbest helpdesk I have ever seen). To my surprise, a helpdesk person advised me that my phone has already been recharged with a Rs.55 topup whereas my phone is still displaying a "null" balance. He also thrown a vague sentence at me - topup recharge may take 24hrs or more!!!
                              After that call, I begged to several BSNL helpdesk people & their managers for help over a week's time but nobody was bothered about this situation. Everytime I call them, I get a irresponsible repetitive answer "Your complaint is in process & you would get a confirmation call from us within 24 hours". Nobody knows if somebody ever is working on my complaint.
                              It clearly shows that BSNL is absolutely incapable and DOES NOT AT ALL care about their customers & its own commitments.

                              Hope, I will get the justice before BSNL becomes a complete masochist.

                                    Broadband Connection,
                                    Sir,

                                    I am a customer of BSNL landline, having telephone number[protected], under Ludhiana Telephone Exchange. I am applied for new Broadband Connection on 12.10.2009 but yet we have no answer from exchange & now we have recd a bill which is mention Rs.700/= rent of broad band but we have no internet conection yet.So you are kindly requsted to please solve this problem.

                                    Reply received from BSNL Vide No.MIS/PG Cases/25 Dated 9.3.2010is incomplete as intetnet portion mentioned in our complaint has not been attended to.The need ful may pease be done now.

                                    I had been using the BSNL broadband and Telephone[protected] . . But In December 2009, I filed a application to BSNL to disconnect my Phone and Internet . I didn't want to use the service from January 2010.

                                    I started to use service of some other company from January.
                                    But one day I noticed that BSNL was still in service . So I again filed a reminder ( reminder application number 17015 ) to disconnect service. I mentioned clearly that I would not be responsible in case they delayed to disconnect the phone. And I would not pay the bill of January month because An Application already had been given to them in December.

                                    But they sent me the bill of January month and saying to clear the account ...


                                    Now why I should pay ? This is not my fault that they delayed to disconnect the phone or service. Even I didn't use BSNL Internet even for a Single Minute ..


                                    So now What I should do ?

                                    my father is working in bsnl from last 37 years in ludhiana (main exchange).but now he had shifted to mata rani exchange from last 7 years, i want 2 tell u regarding the problem which i m facing from last 2 months.My number is [protected] ie is issued on my name Amar Singh.i also have abroadband connection, from last two months its not properly working.link is always still but connection is not secured.during working connection getting failed but link is always stabled.now again i have to restart my modem and then again i have to open my browser.i am very tired from this repetition.
                                    i also complained to department but no action place and the department told me that this is not our problem Actually the problem is in our Server as per discussion with ur engineer.so plz suggest me wht will i do????

                                      I am having Cellone connection though it is in the name of Miss Rhea Nath, I am using it. In it GPRS
                                      has been activated, on 15 December I have easy recharged Rs 230.00 for unlimited Internet connectivity
                                      and download. In your Customer Care people say I CANNOT download anything! surfing a page is downloading a page, and if I download
                                      they will charge for it. It is not the main thing. Since last Tuesday (15.12,2009), activation o[censored]nlimited Internet for paying
                                      the sum of Rs 230.00, you are deducting charges from my main balance and Tirhetta Bazar Exchange (TBZ) informed me that you are also
                                      deducting the dedicated balance, which should not be the case. I have contacted the Customer Care (complaint Nos. 3924771 dated 15.12.2009 and 3928438 dated 16.12.2009). They
                                      say they have taken up the issue with proper authority, and it will be rectified, but it will take time. They cannot specify how long. Moreover, I have easy-rechrged SMS amount
                                      but if I send message to Docomo connection, you deduct charges, just now it happened, only to see whether you have rectified it. I do not know what is going on in the BSNL. We do not
                                      go to any private mobile company for mobile connection. But alas! I am completely disappointed by your service, very often you deduct charges without any rime and reason. I did not care
                                      for it earlier, but I was asked by some people to lodge complaint agains your mis-service. Hope you will take appropriate action and inform me at the earliest over phone or email or landline connection.

                                      i have recently done my MNP from Reliance telecom on the 13th June 2011. and i got the connectivity or confirmation from cell one on the 1st July 2011. and the bill came on the 10th July RS 660/- whereas the bill period is for 10 days. but in the bill the billing period is showing from 1st June 2011. and there are some recurring charges which i am unaware. in nongstoin branch, meghalaya, i asked the detail but they are unabvle to answer as the my circle is Assam. kindly reslve the complaints asap. my details are given below:

                                        I purchased a tarrif voucher for Rs.112/- of BSNL Pre paid mobiles bearing no.[protected] bearing validity date untill 31.12.2010, but after scratching and loading this tarrif voucher message shows the validity is over for this tarrif card. So, I am unable to load this voucher. Please do the needful. My mobile no. is [protected].

                                        We are being charged for call on each other.

                                        Under family & friend scheme, a group of max 4 prepaid mobile numbers can be formed. All calls among these numbers shall be free 24 hours a day for 1 year. But, due to some problems at IN, Kolkata, calls at night during 10PM to 6AM were getting charged. This was highlighted to General Manager Nodal Centre Kolkata. Problem was reported to be fixed on 15th November 2009. It has been checked—NOW there is no such wrong charging.
