iam using HUAWEI EC325 data modem...it works properly and the signal is also gud...it also connects well...but sometimes only it connects and receive data...most of the time it wont receive data but connects...for example : sent -3334bytes received-235bytes and stop received eventhough it is connected...pls tell me whats the problem in that?.pls sir/madam help me...and mail me

I am C vanaja from Marthandam, kanyakumari district, tamilnadu... i am using BSNL Broadband with HOME UL 750plus @256kbps.

I am having problem with its connection. There are many drop-outs in its connection – Sometimes it works while sometimes it doesn’t. I never get speed of 256kbps which is written in its TARIFF – I am getting at most 37kbps speed. my broadband connected is from the number[protected]



So please help me out by any means so that I can get the value of my money.

BSNL - INTERNET IS SLOW PROCESS

Dear Sir,
I have applied for a new telephone connection at vasna, ahmedabad exchange 20 days ago.We are given tel no. 26823797.We have repeatedly visited vejalpur office but the response from bsnl staff is really disappointing.They are forcing us to take WLL line which is not working well in that area.In that area many peoples are having WLL but all are suffering from poor conectivity etc.Apart from that, I need to use internet also.I requested for the landline but there is no response from anybody.Now they are asking us to take refund instead arranging landling for the customers in that area.
I request to do the needful in this context as early as possible.
Request also to counsell Vejalpur BSNL staff to behave in a better way with the customers.

We are very regert to inform that BSNL is a well Equipped company with BAD ORGANISATION SYSTEM. Nobody give is proper answer, when they are asking for transfer line to customer care you will wait to officer on line but phone will be disconnect and nobdoy will come. My landline telephone No.[protected], Since Last Six Month, we are doing complaint for disturbances and dead of Phoneline.Very surprising we draw your kind attention that when phone is running then disturbance is coming otherwise dead of line.

i am govindan from ramapuram chennai, i have received a phone bill (dated 10/04/2009) from bsnl, i am the subscriber of bsnl broadband and my tharif is Rs.500 (combo home 500 plan). As per this plan, internet usage is 1.5Gb is free, but i didnt use the free usage fully during month of march 2009. I verified (www.bbservice.bsnl.in), i used only 1291277KB. Then why i got Misc charges as Rs.855.00 and total amount as Rs. 943.00?? so please do the necessary action.

I am a coustomer of BSNL.(U).Nashik Maharashtra, well first I have applied for Land line connection at BSNL.due to shortage of line I have provided WLL.conection.My WLL.No.is.2025656.I am not getting bill in time and when I go to upnagar Tele Exchange I get reply that my bill is not genereated.?.since I am staying in mumbai.and when I come to nashik my phone is dead due to non payment of bill.so far I have not recived a copy of my bill.?also I have been inform by exchange person.that from Apil they are going to give new land line connection.And I am intrested in land line connection instead of WLL.

what the hell is that misc charges...
i got bill more than what i deserve. almost i need to pay 1500 which equals my normal(so i need to pay around Rs.2, 500/-) ...

Sir, i have bought the SIM numbered [protected] at Faizpur Exchannge on dt[protected] but SIM indicated "Registation Failure" Error massage as it was inserted in cellphone device. On reporting this problem to Shri Bhole Sir at Faizpur Exchange, he replaced [protected] with another SIM number [protected] on dt[protected] on the same above maintioned receipt. I am paying the bill regularly for [protected] which is being used by me.
Since the SIM [protected] is never used by me and new sim is issued to me in replace of that old sim. The bill against no [protected] is still shown outstanding.
On reporting this problem to Shri Bhole at Faizpur, he ordered me NOT to pay that bill against [protected] more ever Mr Bhole dicussed this case with Shri Sharma at Jalgaon.
But still Bill no[protected] dtd[protected] has received me the Post agianst same mobile number.
Sir, i hope you will find the solution for my billing complications very soon.

Respected sir my name is Philip Joseph. I have a bsnl land line connection (Tel No. [protected]) with broadband internet connection. I were using the the broad band plan 500 combo till April 2012. And i have changed the plan to 900 combo(monthly subscription). Thereafter i have received a bill amounts Rs. 12669.79 in the month May 2012. We have complained about this bill at BSNL Manimala exchange under Kanjirappally, Kottayam Kerala, and they have promised me to look into the matter seriously any told me not to pay the bill until they say. They took no action and in June we got a bill amounts Rs 13238.00 including the monthly charge of May.The very next week our phone get disconnected. I went to the exchange again and shown the new bill, again they told me not to pay the bill. Next day they called me and told me that they have contacted the billing section and asked me to pay an amount of RS 3100.00 as the usage for April and May and they promised me the bill will come normally for the monthly usage.
Today(14/07/12) I got the bill of the month June asking me to pay Rs 11, 116.00.S canned copies of all the bills we have received so far are attaching herewith. Please do the needful to get the correct bill of June which may include the Rs 900 of Broadband usage and the the telephone usage which may not exceed Rs 1000.

I have been using BSNL mobile since 3 months but sick of it. I get lots o[censored]nwanted calls in the form of advertisement and so many SMS every day and night. I am just sick of it. I have already send message to stop it for 5-6 times as well as complained over the phone atleast 3-4 times but nothing happen. Now I am thinking to change network. I hope there will be some improvmet as this is kind of harassment.

My mobile is used strictly for personnel use. But I am totally disturbed that there are lot o[censored]nwanted calls in the form of advertisement, BSNL tunes etc, and SMS of the nature of advertisement is sent to my mobile number from various unknown numbers. I am a BSNL subscriber and I too face the same unwanted ad and SMS problem many a times every day. Moreover I am not aware of any BSNL outlet to complain against it. However I have done one thing. Each time I get an ad call from a different number than before I save the number and mark it by Block1, Block2, Block2 etc. Each time I receive a call from a Block, I just cut it off. It at least partially saves me from the torture and defeats the design of the advertising .

I was offered a free package of games on demand for one month in the month of october .But i wanted to unsubscribe at the stroke of first month itself and tried many times to the toll free no.[protected] but always busy.In the month of november i could speak to them and as per their instructions i unsubscribed and placed a request for deactivation..But the charges for the games were included in the bill to my utter surprise.I was advised to contact 1500.Every month before the bill preparation date reminders were given to 1500 but of no use.Every month amount for the games is being included.Latest on jan18. also i got it confirmed from 1500 that it has been deactivated in the last month itself
but again in this month jan. an amount of 200Rs. is included.As per CROs
direction, this e_ mail is sent for your records to take necessary steps and and adjust the amount in the future bills. A total amount of Rs.496.77

They are saying that Reliance company personnel had cut the cable while digging. And they it will be set right very soon. But it's already one week and still there is no news of getting repaired. What you were doing when Reliance personnel were digging? I have already paid one year telephone bill and broadband internet amount in advance. Today morning I got the SMS to my mobile saying that, my complaint docket number[protected] has been assigned to BSNL staff Sri B A More, and when I called this person, he said that it will not come under his perview. So, he can not solve the problem and he just passed on the bug to somebody else and told to contact that person. Wow...what a great service the BSNL is providing to citizens of India!!!. Within next hour I got one more SMS saying that my problem has been solved and telephone connection is restored. This is the funniest thing happened. Why because is, what I said in complaint was, actually telephone cable was cut and BSNL personnel have to come to my palce and physicially they have to replace the cable to restore the connection...and till now no single BSNL personnel have visited my place...Hats off to you BSNL...Great service...With all such kind of reluctant people in govt sectors, our prime minister Sri Narendra Modi has to give good administartion to Indian citizens...tough job...really...????

Still how many days you want to repair/restore the telephone/broadband connection?. I have paid Rs.2528.00 (including tax) advance rent towards using the broadband. It's comes to be Rs. 6.92 per day. For 10 days it is Rs.60.92. So, who is going to pay back the money for which broadband is not used due to BSNL's fault. Why customer has to pay for which it's not their fault? Looking forward to your reply.

BSNL EVDO is an ascuse to earn money. There contention ratio is 1:98 and many a times thier BTS is over crowded. They have hooked about 98 (or more in some BTS) cards to an 1.5 Mbps Link, hence 1.5*1024/98= 15 Kbps we are getting as an average download speed. Their Dialer (ZTE Modem Dialer) shows a wrong speed as its result and speedtest results are different as ZTE dialer show port speed of your computer (i.e. the throughput). I live in Panbazzar guwahati near to thier main BTS and the speed at night about 2 AM is horrible as many users hookup to download from P2P. BSNL its time to maintain a sensible contention ratio of 1:8 like TATA indicom or close your service. Its wrong to loot money from innocent users. You have advertised a net connection o[censored]pto 2.4 Mbps then atleast give us 1 Mbps 24X7 or change your advertisement to upto 64 Kbps which is true.

I am not sure if what i am suggestion here has been discussed on this forum as I have personally not seen it. But hope it helps those of you using BSNL EVDO in Vista. My understanding of this tweek is that it will work with other providers such as Tata and Reliance that also provide EVDO / CDMA based services but do not have either so cannot comment on this.

Have just signed on to this forum but have been tracking many threads under the BSNL EVDO forum.

I have been using BSNL EVDO over the last 12 months cause I thought it was a great value at Rs 500 / month for unlimited internet. Initially the speed was great and I was downloading at 100-150kbps in bursts which was better than my Airtel BB 512kbps connection.

However in a couple of months the speed dropped drastically to max 10kbps max when downloading. I am assuming this was on account of a bunch o[censored]sers that got signed up after me. I tried in vain looking for tweeks to spped up the connection.

I tried everything: DrTCP tool, Windows vista KB tweek, updated drivers from ZTE website, Custom drivers.. Nothing.. Absolutely nothing seemed to work to increase the speed.

I was about to give up when i accidentally stumbled upon a tweek while driving on the highway where i was getting only 1x signal but am absolutely amazed at the speed.

I found a website ::. Kitz - Vista TCP tweaks .:: which addressed the "Receive Window Auto-Tuning" feature in Vista being turned off. Disabling (or setting to normal) the Auto tune feature seems to have improved the perfomance drastically.

It was simple as tying the following command while running CMD as Administrator.

Click Start -> All programs -> Accessories
Right Click on Command Propmt and click "Run as Administrator"
Authenticate and then type the following line.

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable

To verify the status of Receive Window Auto-Tuning you have to type the following line in cmd

netsh interface tcp show global

My system was set to "highlyrestricted" before i disabled the feature.

I tried it and was pleasantly surprised. Even without the EVDO signal, the ZTE software was showing 1x signal, I was downloading a movie at 200kbps (20kBps). Again this was on the highway with the car moving at 100kmph.

Turning off the TCP recieve window autotuning feature, it feels like the EVDO finally responds and very quickly at that. I used to have max 2 minutes of great speeeds and then the connection would almost go dead on me. Now it works great even after a couple of hours.

It will be great if other users in Bangalore and rest of India could try this and let me know if it works for them. I dont understand the minute technical details of why it worked for me. SO will leave it to one of the experts.

BSNL EVDO is giving too slow speed in my area(Rajapur Mainpura, Patna).Most of the times it gives Avg speed of 0.40Mbps, the maximum speed i get is 0.60Mbps in my area.

The above result i tested on www.speedtest.com.
One of my friend who lives in Mahendru, patna usually got Avg speed of 1+ Mbps.I have tested my evdo at his place it gives same speed for evdo also.

Following screenshot shows regular speed i got.
So please sort out the speed problem in our area also.

Goa - Funny thing, I used the BSNL dongle right outside their Panjim office & this is my download speed 0 -4 kbps

Go for Reliance Modems their plans are a little costlier not the promised speeds but still good enough.
My average wipod download speed is 1.45mbps (120 -350 kbps actual download rate)
