I have the bsnl dataone connection for about 6 months.
i have the 500C plan in which we got 1.5 GB of data for downloading and extra charges are applied on further downloading.
Yesterday, one of my friend told me that we can use BSNL portal to view our usage by typing portal id and password, when I asked him that how this id and password are obtained, he told me that these are provided at the time when the modem is installed, but that officer who as installed my modem have not given me any id or password, so i want to complain about this.

Sir,
I have forgotten my bsnl portal ID & password. Do not know how to recover it. I am not able to check my usage account. Pl. help.

i have not received my portal id and password yet ...at the time of connection i received an acknowledgement in which i found my portal id but the password field was blank...

the bsnl workers working at rajajinagar(near navarang) bsnl office are not at helpfull
they dont give any information about it...

I have broad band connection of NO[protected], we have complain and so many time visit BSNL office sahrsa and met to related officer but our problem not solved by them.

    I am having a prepaid bsnl mobile phone connection from the last 4-5 years on the name of ANIL SHARMA bearing number[protected]. I am having too much network problem at home i.e. when I am at home my mobile shows no network. Neither do i recieve any phone call nor do i can make any phole calls. As i am running my own coaching centre for which I will have to give an adv. in the news paper but because of having network problem i could not make any phone calls which is causing me a lot of financial problem. I have made unlimited requests to the customare care centres. MOST of the time they don't pick up the phone whenever they pick up they assure me that this problem will be rectified within next 24 hours. Till today i am having the same problem. So, i request you to please help me to rectify this problem at an earliest possible. I will be highly obliged for this

    My mobile No. is [protected](pre-paid). I have taken connection under Anatha Scheme for the last 4 years. Everything was ok. For the last 3 months I am getting an SMS that "Your last last call cost Rs.12/- & your balance is ------" without making any call at that time. I am getting this SMS on every 15 days intervals and Rs.12/- is being debited from my balance amount. In September I got an SMS that "your last SMS cost you Rs.20/-". I enquired about this in your Bhubaneswar Office but they could not reply. Please advise me the facts. Expecting an early reply from you.

      Hi Everyone,
      I have taken BSNL Post paid connection on last month, It was good until i was relocated to another office ITPL. When i enter the office my singal will go off and when i came out it will take 5 min to find the tower and then it will resume. It means that 9 AM - 9 PM, i no need to carry the mobile, This is realy sucks me. In my mobile always show Searching when i was in the office. I am not getting any calls or message when i was in the office. ITPL is the biggest business area and these BSNL peoples not even taking care of those area. This is really frustrating. What is the Use of holding th mobile without getting any calls.

      Hi,
      I stay at nagarabhavi, very close to the BDA complex at the ring road.Even though a bsnl mobile tower is located nearby, the network is pathetic.The signal strength keeps changing from max level to zero.It is terrible to use cell phones indoor.I had complained to the cellone authorities about a year ago.They had visited the place after my persistent complaints, only to send me a mail stating that, because of the topography of the place the problems are prevelent.One of the officials told me that the problem will be rectified as they were planning to install a 2nd tower in 3 months time.10 more months have gone by..but still the problem continues.Really poor service...

        My telephone number is[protected]. I have applied for BSNL dataone connection last year and got the same installed last month only. My first bill was totally incorrect, I have applied for unlimited plan of Rs.750/- but they have activated wrong plan due to which i was over charged for downloading. I have been to BSNL Ulhasnagar office personally and met some official there. I dndt got any refund and was advised to pay the bill and got the assurance that plan is now changed to 750 Unlimited Plus and next month onwards i will receive the bill of Rs.750/- irrespective of my usage. but today i shocked to see the bill of Rs.6000/-. I dont know why the problem is taking place and BSNL is harrasing me. Please look into this.

        I'm a professional and have internet connections on[protected] and at my home on[protected]. Which shud be in Ur database.

        U charge interest in the name of SURCHARGE, which even includes the penalty element.

        Then, What is the occasion, that U disconnect my internet connection, on[protected], w/o any Notice ?

        Are there any Rules ?

        And I make the payment on 26.10.2009, assured that the internet connection will be restored by 4.00 p.m. on 27.10.2009 and inspite of my several phone calls to 1957, from where I get the repetitive standard reply since morning of 27.10.2009, that they are helpless and I shud contact 2333444 and when I try that number, no one responds, inspite of all my efforts.


        Kindly look into it.

          I am Nitin Rakshiye, from Sanjay Nagar, Mul Road, Chandrapur (Maharashtra).I have a BSNL landline[protected] in my home and I had applied for the broadband from last 1 month.I had paid the deposit for broadband modem and i got the modem.The problem for me is that from the last1 month BSNL had not started the connection of my home and they had sent a internet bill.I went to meet with the General Manager regarding this issue but he is the most useless person in the BSNL office chandrapur.He never speak truth.He only used to say that"Tumhara kaam kal 100% ho jayega" but my problem had not solved till now.I told him that I am going in consumer forum to complaint regarding your misbehavior then He told me do whatever you want to do...This is my last hope that my complaint will solve by using this site.Please dismiss such person from the job and keep some responsible person so as to take care of government asset

            TWO PERSONS FROM OFFICE CAME ON 08.04.09 TO ENQUIRY AND TOLD US THEY ARE GIVING ME OUR

            We have applied for new telephone connection, and got the receipt (No: [protected]) for PSTN (2460151/PTN1537).

            And BSNL associates told us to give the connection on the next day. But now almost 20 days passed. Meanwhile we have visited the exchange twice for the same.

            Once bsnl associate told that the concern line man is on leave. And next time they told to meet line man personally.

            Is it in the process of getting the phone line? Do we have to walk behind the line-man. And Mr. Line man is saying there is a complex issue you have to give some money.

            We are not able to understand for which thing this money is required and he is not even willing to give the receipt.

            Kindly look into the matter you help shall be highly appreciated.

              I N Aravindakshan, Managing partner of Sunshine Plastics, Kannur, sending this mail to inform you that My landline is not working for more than one month.In this Number Broadband is also going and i am paying Rs.500/- every month for Broad Band.My connection is in Mambaram Exchange which is in under KANNUR SSA. I had given complaints so moany times to your departments.

                Its almost 3 weeks since I submitted a written application to BSNL (in Jaynagar 7th Block Commercial office) for transferring my landline (from J P Nagar 2nd Phase to Arekere, Bangalore). Despite reminding them so many times I am still waiting for transfer to happen. Reason for delay quoted to me was that they had lost my application from the file. This is shocking. Company must understand the problems caused to the customer due to the inefficiency and indifference of its employees.

                  Today, i have submitted a complaint in connection with BSNL Landline false bill dated 5/4/09 for the months 2/2009 & 3/2009. After several attempts, I could get into touch with [protected], their billing office and furnish the details .They admitted my complaint and remarked that the excess rental will be omitted and a new bill will be issued to me from payyanur.
                  In this ground, I here by request to withdraw the complaint I submitted today

                  BSNL Land Phone — IMPROPER BILLING

                  After several times of complaining against the improper billing to my local exchange BSNL is sending bills to my house. the telephone connection is dead from 15 months but they are sending bills every month. they have also send me a lawyer notice to pay the bills which i have not consumed.

                  Hello sir iam from chennai kk nagar i own a telephone number 23716634 iam using it for past 10 years still now there is no problem only this i face a great ship of problem is that iam not using it and i have given for a plan change first it has been for 495 i have changed to sulbh monthly 99 incoming free plan where there is no usage of my landline phone but i dont know why the billing has been done in the previous monthly plan and they have not changed my paln that too when asked the persons in kodambakam telephone exchange they are just shouting and there is no response and that too the landline phone is not not working for more than 4 months when asked the person still they wanna pay the montly rent then only they can attend the fault is seems

                  Lets be a who wants such a wasteful and fraud government coneection its better and best go for private where they give many offers and that hoo best pland but not a cheating central government but still this thing being settled iam not going to pay the bill it a promise lets the tellephone department suffer

                  I think government making or collecting this sort of malpractice money for thier election its a free of cost no
                  I am bsnl consumer since last 15 years. i have bsnl land line, Broadband, 5 cellphone connection . Last year my LL phone shifted & after that i have change my postal add but since last year i have n't recive my teliphone bill. Every time I have to contact for bill at you exchange & I paid . this month I have n't receive bill & my phone out going is disconnected . For bill I have several time requested but i have not receive timely. this is my last complain to you after that i will request for disconnect my all bsnl connection & i will opt other company

                    I own bsnl prepaid connection no [protected]. I get jokes from 55500 and cricket news from 5550015 for which I have not subscribed, but they are deducting money from my account. I tried to send unsubscribe sms but it was not accepted.Please do the needful

                    My mobile no. is [protected]. I am from yamuna nagar(haryana). Few days back unneccessarily caller tune had been activated in my number although I have not asked for that. Now after calling to the customer care ([protected]), they are telling it is not possible to disconnect it from their side and I have to send a sms typing UNSUBSCRIBE to 56700. Even after sending the sms my caller tune is not removed. Even if I have not asked for that why should I have to disconnect from my side? and after 30 days automatically amount will be deducted from my account. I want to close it as soon as possible.

                    Stopping Exploitaton of subscriber from unsolicited services wthout giving any method of declining must be put into category of fraud and responsible authorities must be penalised, I see no reason that the unsubscribe option should not be given with activation notice and the method is equally prominently publicized on bsnl site under trouble shootin heading. I am now going to ask the method under RTI. Others should also follow atleast for the sake of poorer class of subscribers who are duped of their hard earned money as soon as they recharge. my no.is [protected].
                    Kindly unsubscribe the unwanted messages that I receive from 53030.

                      Sir,
                      The land phone No:[protected] ( Consumer No:3356748)in the name of my father (AK Chindapoduval, an aged and illiterate man) is under plan-600 and paid up to 31/05/2009 on 16/06/08, with 30 free calls /month.
                      But in Bill No:86282703 Dt . 05/04/2009, They have added a fixed monthly charge of Rs.220/- !! Since I came at my home, this mistake was noticed, other wise that old man will be cheated.
                      On this very day I tried to call 1661, [protected] from 12.00 noon to 12.45.p.m..Wonderfully, it was engaged!Also I contacted [protected], [protected] and [protected] and I could not get a clear cut information, all that they did was re-directing me by providing another number!
                      The most wonderful thing was, I called [protected] for 28 times at first..eventhough ringing sound, noboby attended my call!
                      It is in this pathetic condition, I spend my valuable time and sending this complaint, waiting for an early necessary action, in all means.

                        i sent the massage of ACT 9 on 7th April at 6:03PM . but i am unable to get this service which is provided by the bsnl. i called many times to customer care officers to intimate regarding this problem.each time they said there are some technical problems. 7 to 21 of april, during this time of span i hava lodged the 20 to 25 comlaints to costomer care office by calling them. each time they assuared me that they will solve my problem in next 24 howers. please take some action to remeve my problem as soon as possoble.

                          I am in the middle of the Pudukkottai Town. BSNL headquarters is only 100 meters from me. All banks
                          and companies and browsing centers are around the four major streets. East, West, North and South main
                          streets. I am in the middle of these four street. But the BSNL is not giving sufficient servers for this area. They connect more connections more than its capacity. Result: signal is very weak. Even after
                          many complaints they are silent. They can purchase more machines and reduce the load in each server. They are telling that they are the biggest, but they are doing all the cheapest.

                          See the map the bsnl office and my house are in the same place west side of pallavan kulam, the old palace. pathetic thing is both our postal address is "old palace" ...ridiculous isn't it?

                          Thebroad band net connection is not working properly.
                          The signal seems to be very weak.
                          Very late to get connected and often it get disconnected while brousing.

                          I had sent an email amonth back. No action or reply.
                          Tried many times to contact 2377900. But no response.

                          Kindly look into the matter and do the need ful.

                            i am presently using bsnl broadband with landline phone no. [protected](kolkata).i am facing these big problems:--
                            (1)the broadband link fails so frequently (2-3 times in a minute).
                            (2)the sound is not clear when using landline phone.it is full of noise.
                            (3)the network is so much congested that for making a std call i have to dial at least 7 to 10 times.
                            now bsnl is launching 3g network but not providing satisfiction to a homeuser customer.shame on the managing committee of bsnl & service centres too.if this situation will continue i will leave your broadband & landline connection in the next month.

                            Friend, You problem will be never solved if this will be your attitude. You are reporting on Complaint site which doesn't even report it to the concerned officers. Its just a website made in view to aware the people from fraud companies. Take the note of your problem to the BSNL office. I think, they will be able to solve your 2nd no. problem. For problem no.1, its is most opt view that your home is suitated very far from the BSNL office and due to of this large distance, your links and speed broke down. Traffic problem are there is any telecom service provide. If you are not happy with BSNL, you can give and try AIRTEL BROADBAND. THey offer very high speed internet. Take this problem to your nearest BSNL officers.
                            I feel that taking this broad band conenction is shameful action. From the day this broad band was activated, I am using the phone to make my comlaints than using the internet.

                            since May01 2009, the complaint given was not attended and again the complaint having the register no: 27460 dt.07.05.09 is not even been looked at by the great BSNL officials.

                            After 19 days passed now, there is no one in the BSNL to bother of solving the problem, but are so curious in providing the details when we approach the officials due to the frustation of how to proceed in disconnecting internet connection.

                            In simple for the past 19 days, I am not even be able to enter into the internet using my land line the purpose it was conected. The officials feel that it is not their job to respond to the calls for solving the problem.

                            The top officials of the BSNL may please note that if you are not interested in solving the problem of the subscriber, , you can inform us about your inability also so that we can go for the disconnection of your line as a whole since your officials are more interested in giving the procedures for taking the disconnection.

                            The ERROR 691 has nothing to do with the subscriber even after paying the due before the due date. Also the ERROR 678 is no way connected with the work of the subscriber than the BSNL to rectify.It is a good opportunity to learn form BSNL how to lag on the responsibility.

                            The call center invariably makes the message that some one from the technical cell will attend to us but nothing had happen. But the billing will be made to the subscriber as though we are fools to pay the sum being charged for the inefficiency..

                            If BSNL is having any technical deficiency in solving the problem, this may please be informed to me, so that I need not waste my time, energy in contacting the BSNL which is a laborious job. Your officials expect us to sit in front of the system whenever they call us. I have he experience on the sunday the 17th May, that if we fail to attend their call when they come on line, they will close the file.

                            By taking this connection BSNL should not think that everyone will have to beg your officials or we are in the mercy of your employees.

                            Please respond to solve or inform to take an alternate action.

                            Hi all friends I also went through same torture from BSNL same frquent disconnections and very hevy billing . Without using broadband for a minute I got a bill of Rs.2602. So its my humble request to all never opt for BSNL products. And those who already are facing the same problem get rid of this pathetic and heavy billed BSNL connection as soon as possible.
                            After repeated request and complain to your customer complain center still today very poor service of broadband & telephone service

                              Dear Sir,
                              This is Mr. P S Goswami a prepaid mobile customer for last four years. Recently I am facing a problem regarding internet connectivity. I use Rs.152 GPRS scheme and get net access in ti my PC through mobile. But from 5 April, 2009 I am not getting the service due to might be some technical problem. I made a complaint to customer care and got docket no3577240 but no positive response I have got so far. Repeatedly I made another complaint with same issue on 14 April. But even till date my problem has not been solved. I have spoken to customer care several times. When I use to connect my PC through mobile I get a message Error 734: PPP link control protocol was terminated.
                              My request to you that please look into the matter seriously and instruct you good office to solve the problem as early as possible.

                              Since yesterday 3G on my Samsung GT-S5233W mobile.
                              Internet browsing and e-mail on this mobile is working but I am unable to connect with my PC. After dial up, and registering on the network the "Error 734 - The PPP Link Protocol was terminated" pops up.

                              Complaint at BSNL? Their Service Centre officers don' t even understand were I am talking about :-((

                              I am using *99***1# under 2G for dial up and that was working well. Underr 3G NOT AT ALL. Tried *99# and *99***n# n = 1 to 9. All numbers gave same problem:
                              "Error 734 - The PPP Link Protocol was terminated"

                              I am so fat up with BSNL, having Internet connections in my rural area through WLL phone, data card, previous mobile GPRS 2G and now 3G. All connections are damned slow and now 3G is not working at all.

                                Sir, I'm using the BSNL Home 500C plan for the past 8 months. It has been good so far. I didn't found much problems with it. Last month my phone become dead. I wasn't able to use my phone and internet for 10 days. So, my free calls and internet usage become waste. After that it has been rectified. But, when I received the bill it shows Rs. 619/- its nearly Rs. 60/- extra from the regular bill amount. Actually we suffered for 10 days. The problem was with BSNL but they have over billed the customer. i.e to me... Please find a soultion for this and please ensure it should be repeated.

                                  i had subscribed to Excel Anant and as per the scheme i had to pay only rs 50 for extending validity for further 6 months. My connection was due for renewal on 20/02/2009 and i had topped up rs 50 on feb 20, 2009.
                                  Now this extension charge has been changed to rs 221 but BSNL site still says the old connection charges for extension is rs 50/-. If the old charge of rs 50 is not applicable the same will not be mentioned on the site. But officials of BSNL are either not aware of these instructions and are also no willing to see reason behind this sentence in the BSNL site.
                                  Not only the amount of rs 50 top up made on 20/02/2009 has gone waste - even my available balance has not b een taken into account. No one is willing to look into the system and tel me the exact position. How can i get JUSTICE.

                                    I live in Shahdol ( Madhya Pradesh ). I have taken a new connection of BSNL landline only a month ago (Ph.no.[protected]. I applied for broadband connection also along. Day before yesterday I brought modem to home. But from that day there is no dialler tone in the phone. I complained it to BSNL exchange office, but they told to call them on Monday. But how can i wait these three days? It is very urgent for me.

                                      Even I am not able to get deduction when the phone line is completely dead.

                                        Sir,
                                        I regret to inform you about the callous, irresponsible & indifferent behaviour of BSNL main exchange staff in general & Shri D. S. SAWATKAR (Chief Account Officer) in particular. I bring to your kind notice the following facts:

                                        1. I approached inward clerk BSNL Exchange on 08/04/09 for submitting application to avail facility of getting hard copy of itemized bill for long distance calls (STD calls) but the clerk refused to accept the application & said that such facility can not be provided & hence returned the application without putting any remarks even though I insisted for it.

                                        2. On 15-04-09 I again tried to submit the application but received same response from inward clerk so i met D.G.M & then only the application was received by inward clerk of G.M.

                                        3. Then I met Chief A.O. Shri D. S. SAWATKAR & requested him to do the needful in this regard.I also brought to his notice circular no 15/2008 from TRAI dated 24/01/08 in this regard. He responded in most irresponsible & arrogant manner & told that he can not do so for a single customer like me & I will have to collect the hard copy of itemized bill from exchange every month by visitng there.

                                        4. When I insisted that it is mandatory to supply copy of itemized bill, Shri SAWATKAR told me that I can do whatever I want & expressed his unwillingness & refused to supply STD bill details with bill.

                                        5. Sir, it is matter of great concerns that when Govt. of India & telecom ministry is trying to attract customers by providing best services & issuing orders too for this, officers like Chief A.O Shri D. S. SAWATKAR behave in such irresponsible manner & show utter disrespect for legal & logical demand of customer.

                                        Please do the needful in this regard & oblige.
