Reg. : Theft of wire of my TelePhone No. :[protected]

Dear Sir,

This is with reference to my aforesaid telephone connection. The wire of the said telephone has been stolen a week ago and I had lodged the complaint for the same on "198" but nothing has been done so far.

I request your goodself to please do the needful to re-install the connection at the earliest.

      sir/mam,

      i am having a problem in my internet connection from past 1 week and don't know what to do now, i'm using mobile internet services from october 2007 and speed was also good, but from the past 1 week i'm getting a slower speed and even the connection is getting broken many times, and sometimes i'm not getting any kind of connection. my mobile no. for bsnl is [protected]. i would be kind o[censored], i[censored] look into this matter as soon as possible.

      coming heavy amount of Bill to my land phone so I am not able to keep my telephone. I do not under stand that why bill is coming my telephone.
      i have activated gprs in my cell but there is no connection at all

      Very very very very poor connection of Gprs. My house & Cellone tower distance only 500 m, but i get only 4-5 download speed & 1-2kbps upload speed. Where airtel give me 25-30 kbps dload speed & 13-20 kbps upload speed.

          I'm experiencing very slow connection with bsnl broadband. Some of the sites like gmail.com, orkut.com is not at all opening or if sometime open, in very low speed. I'm using 500C+ connection, earlier my connection was lightning fast. Somehow, for the last 4-5 days its bogged down. I talked with the JTO in the local exchange, both o[censored]s think its the problem with the DNS server. Because, when I'm pinging the above mentioned sites, the response time is ok, but in the browser its taking that much time.

          I've tried with these DNS:

          nameserver 61.1.96.71
          nameserver 61.1.96.69
          nameserver 4.2.2.1
          nameserver 4.2.2.2
          nameserver 218.248.255.146 (this is automatically asigned)
          nameserver 248.218.255.139 (this is automatically asigned)
          nameserver 208.67.220.220 (this is open dns)
          nameserver 208.67.222.222 (this is open dns)

          Do something with this. Its very irritating.

          BSNL — Broadband, etc

          I shifted house in May 2007, and my telephone got transferred in about 60 days time [quite good actually for BSNL standards] My broadband connection is yet to be transferred. I don't know how any Agency would be able to quantify the inefficiency of this delay. And BSNL wants to compete with private operators !! Which world are they living in ??
          The latest plaything they have found is to suddenly switch our telephone number. Suddenly I am queried, "Where are you calling from ?" --- and when I check out, I am amazed to find that my number is not what it is supposed to be !! Would they be able to access my STD/ISD etc ? ... and bill it to me ?
          I survive because of alternate availability of private operators. I do hope this inefficiency of BSNL will be tackled through this forum of complaint --- because telephoninh them is of no use at all !!
          I have a broadband connection on my phone no[protected]
          at Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur Bihar, it is new connection and it remains fail for few hours particulerly on every friday, saturday or sunday, when I enquired the E-10 B authority told that "the problem is due to new connection, we cant sort it out"
          Now a new problem occures daily from few days that the broadband connection remain up - down inconsistently in every minuts, alongwith DSL blinking as well.
          this problem also raised to E-10B exchange but not fixed at all.
          Will you kindly see the matter.

          Yes, I live in bangalore and I too have BSNL Broadband for around 2 years and for the last 3 months access to gmail from any browser is completely impossible. I can logon to the gmail account and inbox is shown but when I click on any mail it doesnt open. I try changing the Gmail client UI to older version or to html version thinking maybe at the least these versions are lean and load faster but alas, nothing still works!!!
          It is very very irritating.. SOME ONE DO SOMETHING!!!

          BSNL should be banned. Its a national disgrace. Gmail doent load and i am foeced to go out to a browsing center to check mail when i am paying for a broadband(!!!) at home
          my internet connection is ok but i'm unable to open certain cites like orkut and facebook since last 24 hours...please help in solving my problem.
          my complaint is also with bsnl where gmail is not opening and some pop up comes and machine gets hanged what would be the problem please anybody look in to the matter very urgently since bsnl has ventured in to 3G people will get the same mindset keeping previous problems in mind.

          bsnl-broadband — BSNL Broadband quite often the connection will be lost

          I am using BSNL broadband in Hosur (Krishnagiri District)-Tamilnadu. Whenever I start the browser the connection will be there for few minutes then immediately it will be lost. Really, fed up with quality of service provided by BSNL and I have complained many times of no use. My landline no is[protected].
          I am using 3G data card. Though i am able to surf the internet properly but websites where I need to enter credentials are not downloading... The same problem i faced 4 months back when I was using BSNL, then i switched to other service provider. I dont know what to do now since I have recharged my no. with 606 Rs voucher...

          BSNL — Failure to provide the credentials

          The above mentioned service provider of broadband is not providing me with the credentials to access my broadband usage thereby resulting in the worst inconvinence and giving false promises that the usage could be checked thereby cheating me.Kindly do the needful at the earliest
          From Bangalore.
          From February we are not able to use Yahoo mail, Gmail etc. at our Home PC having BSNL Broadband connection. We informed the BSNL exchange and they came and tried but things have not improved.

          Some other sites work in the night after 9pm.

          My BSNL [land line] telephone also [once in a while] not getting connected.

            I took a broadband connection in october 2007 in the 250 plan. with my broadband connection suddenly blinking out on 10.7.2008 then started my ordeal. It got restored only today (16.8.08)after making innumerable calls to the following numbers: 1500, 12678, 12728 then[protected], 2414100, 2414200, 2419890, 2410000, 2400430 and to the personal mobile no. of SDE internet. Every time I was mocked out or with artificial courtesy by the above persons. At times I was challenged that my premises was found closed. Other than rectifying every thing else was offered. One sincerely wish that there should be a grievance cell to hear the grief of public grievance cell at GM's office at Trichy. Iam sure there are other honourable ways available to BSNL to earn than cheating on hapless customers who paid upfront the asked fees. This PSU white elephant will learn from its mistakes once the number portability and public issue happens. Sure the management knows its worth hence offers its shares at par to its employees for there is no premium to command for with its dead weight work force

            Every time logging in we have to key in
            192.168.1.1, setup
            PVC0, PPP0E and we have to give ours username and Password and apply for two times and we
            have logout that id, then it works.
            Off and on connectivity gets disrupted.

            Broad band connection[protected] is getting interepted very very often. Given compliants very often and at times tired of giving compliants and the Rectification time taken also is too much. When urgent need comes to look into internet it does not work.

            I am using H500C broadband package, i have received your first month bill of broadband (may 2009)of about 7615 Rs/-, which says BBUSGCHG (usage)charge as 4741 Rs/- total MB used as 10, 002. i cont belive this sir, i checked it in dataone.in which tells the same. there is some where goes wrong, i am sure that i didnt download or upload about 10, 002MB. please look in to this issue.

            bsnl phone, broadband — Why customers are moving out from BSNL.

            I shifted my rented house on 1st of june and for transferring my telephone connection to my newly rented house, i have contacted the BSNL department situated at Pattom
            1st of JUNE - provided them with the filled form to shift the phone and broadband connection as per their instruction. Got reply that it will be done by thursday. Gave 2 numbers to check the status.
            4th of JUNE - One person came to check the new address.
            5th of JUNE - 2 people came and connected the line but no connection. They told that, next day morning will be contacted from office and will then come and connect broadband.
            6th of JUNE - contacted on 2 telephone numbers[protected],[protected]. Asked to contact another number[protected]. Response - Will check and get back.
            8th of JUNE - Phone the 3rd number and got response to call another number[protected]. When contacted 4th number asked to phone another number[protected].
            9th of JUNE - Asked to call this another number 6) [protected]. Different area.
            11th of June- Finally got the connection for Land Line. When enquired about the Broadband Connection they informend that some one else will be coming for that .
            12th of June Contacted on[protected] and they gave another number 8)230800.They informed that they will do the needful.

            15th June again I contacted on the same number and finally in the evening one person came and connected the line but the internet was not active.So he informed me to contact 9)[protected] for activation When I contacted this number he gave another number 10)12768.>and from this number I got another number[protected].They asked me for the error number which was 678 and after hearing this they informed that they will revert back soon and the connection is not active till now.
            The saga continues……………………&hellip...


            As a customer I would like to know what and why all this is happening…
            The customer service for the BSNL department is very disappointing.Many of my freinds have faced they similar problem and im sure that no BSNL customer would recommend his friends or relatives to go forward with BSNL.

            Shifting of telephone in BSNL seems to be a near impossible task. My advise would be to apply for a new telephone / broadband connection and disconnect the old one. Even I have applied for shift from Brookefields Exchange to Kavalbyrasandra Exchange (Bangalore) more than 2 months ago. I am yet to get the telephone shifted leave alone broadband...

            now i am receive a bill the bill amount is totaly RS. 2178. in tat bill debits amount is RS.1328.and gross amount is 1372, and others are monthly charges, service tax, deposit amount.. my question is wat includes in gross amount how it is charged? and how to see bills in online ? how pay the bills in online? please make the solutions for those questions.

            BSNL is providing the worst ever service to their customers. Starting from their telephone connections to the broadband connections they are rated as #1 ISP. I have a BSNL broadband connection in my home. I also used other connections like Airtel, hathway. However, BSNL is the worst as far as the high connectivity is concerned. Instead of building their brand name through ads, they can look at the customer's problems. You dont have to spend too much of money in ads, if you satisfy the current customer's needs

            I took 750 plus scheme because the net could be accessed any time we like freely and for a long time.But many a time it goes off very frequently.We have to wait for the connection to come back.It could not serve the purpose. Will the concerned authorities do something to restore please?             1. Last month Broadband was not working. I made a complaint on 17.07.09. After reminding several times, BSNL staff have rectified after 10 days.

            2. Again from 21.08.09, Broadband was not at all working. I made a complaint on 22.08.09. Even after repeated reminders daily through phones, BSNL staff does not care to rectify the same.

            I think they did not care about customers. When Broad band is not working for so many days, I do not know how they are claiming the charges.

            I have to intimate friends not to go in for BSNL Broadband. There is no oher go.
            sir, With regret this is to inform that my telephone no[protected] is not working properly for last 3 months. Nothing is heard and full of noisy sound. Several complaints have been registered at BSNL panruti exchange . so there is take no response.pls take an immediate action.
            I am a bsnl customer using broadband. I did face problems many times but my complaints were attended immediately and rectified. The complaints must reach the right person. If not you may not get the solution to your problem. One of my friends had suffered from broadband. He ran helter shelter to find solution. After a gap of 15 days his broadband connection was restored in order. Because he contacted a right person at last. There are technical snags in broadband connection for which the staff in charge at lower and middle levels must be trained throughly and efficiently. And finally they must devote themselves to their profession and work for their conscience. BSNL can compete with any other service provider provided the staff work effiectively. It has enough manpower and technology.

            My sincere thanks to the employees those who are doing good job in BSNL. Its not only my opinion but acceptable by many customers. .India's best network having all infrostucture but sorry to state this comment that worst in service is only BSNL .But still I have hope that any bsnl employees those who expected in customer service will do the best service in future atleast if they happened to read this.As a wellwisher of BSNL I give this comment.
            My broadband net service is very low speed.
            My plan is 750plan unlimited 256kbps.
            But i am getting only 4, 12, 11, kbps somtime 50 or 60 it comes
            plz I want solution and proper phone no to suitable person
            I am using a broadband connection and I have an EVDO card. I have big trouble using these services from BSNL. My Broadband connection does not work half the time. Almost for 3 weeks now it dose not work after lunch and gets disconnected in the day. I have been complaining for weeks.

            My Data card connection is very slow and doses not get connected most of the time. I do not know why the tariff was raised from Rs. 550 to Rs. 999. I have never faced this problem with any other company. Raising the tariff when private companies are entering the data card space is like giving them a chance, I don’t understand why BSNL would like to give a chance to private players?
            When tariffs are going down on phone calls, why should the tariff rise in Internet? And the service is getting worst.

            Is BSNL encouraging the Customers to move to Private players for better service?

            hi goodmoning.my telephone 15 month is not working.i am morthen time complant.co:no cc680623 .
            I have problem to view broadband usage .portal id and password which is given by bsnl are not agreed by data site.
            i got brodband connection on 18.12.09 Rs.500 plan i never download anything during day time i use to check mail only, i upload only during 2am-8am that is the unlimited usage time but i get net bill of RS.3250 ..
            I am also sailing in the same boat. From Feb the connection got cut frequently. No response for any no. of complaints. From 2nd March there is no ADSL connection. Even after several complaints and a mail to the Trichy grivence cell no action. I am typing this from a browsing center.

I inform you that Still the phone connection is not done.The reason BSNL officer telling there is no proper cable routing to my building the existing cable has been spoiled and cut somewhere. I humbly request BSNL somehow to put new underground cable to my location. Now a days within few weeks new connection even to some remote areas where not even single phone connected are being given by BSNL, then why it is not possible to give in our thuvakudy industrial estate, Thiruchirapalli, where hundreds of existing phone connection lines are moving in and arround my building.             hi sir i have a broadband connection 625 plan.my download speed is very low (i.e)20 or 30kbs.but in pudukkottai broadband section speed is above 170kbs. i had complained many more times. but no response.pls tel the solution
            "Inefficiency Thy name BSNL TRICHY" very much suits.My ordeal started with the delay in getting a telephone connection with BROAD BAND.They give advertisements saying that the connection can be given on demand which is totally false.When the connection was not given for a long time, I had to approach the Principal Chief General Manager and only with his intervention, the connection was given during August 2010.
            The problems started- The instrument given was very old and gives frequent trouble.The Broad Band connection frequently breaks.The bulb indicating Internet connection in the modem goes off every 2 minutes and the connectivity breaks.

            Inspite of giving number of complaints on 1500, 1504 and written complaints at the Customer Service Centre, yielded no results.

            It seems the staff of BSNL are so lethargic and not bothered about the customers because they are protected by their unions.Till the govt. sells the BSNL to some private parties, these staff may behave like this.

                I have taken broad band connection in the month of july08 with rs 750/- unlimited scheme from your office at Satoyabala Exchange Howrah, WB. From last 10 days internet services have become from bad to worse and internet does not get connected for most of the time i have personally lodged complaint to T.K. Modok. but No action been taken.                 Broadband-BSNL — BSNL Broadband link failure

                Dear Sir,
                I am regretfully saying that BSNL broadband service is going to hell and a headache for customers. I am a customer of BSNL Broadband 250 scheme. I have link problem from more than a month which no one is taking responsibility to solve. I need to surf everyday as I am a researcher and my work is getting severely affected because of the nonsense delay of concerning officers. When I met officers they always agreed that the particular line is not working but not doing anything other than avoiding my complaint.
                I am really frustrated with these type of despairing service of BSNL and not getting any hope that my connection will be revive in future.

                  (1)after getting connection of broadband from bsnl, i am to get one free webmail id of dataone which i have not got even after one year despite my several requests to bsnl.
                  (2)my telephone line for broadband always remains noisy, from distribution box to customer end the connection is miserable, hanging loosely sometimes gets disconnected. requesting to exchange no permanent solution has been achieved.
                  (3) the broadband remains unsteady off and on.it creates problem particularly when doing monetary transaction over net.
                  (4)opening page www.dataone.in, clicking to usage details does not help always. the relevant page does not open and we are unable to know our usage .

                        I am holding a Broad Band connection in my Telephone No.[protected] under Bolpur Telephone Exchange. I am entitled, as per the plan, to 1(one) GB free downloading. But since some time back I am not getting any access to view my Broad Band Usage data and consequently I am in dark whether I have consumed excess or not. This in, other words, prove that the BSNL have failed to provide the requisite service. And for such failure the consumer is in no way responsible. Even, the Telephone Exchnage authorities could not be of any help (vide their Telephone nos.[protected]/257000 which are always either busy or not responding). The only solution in the case is, either I should stop forthwith the use of Broad Band (which I can not do for my requirement) or the BSNL authorities provide immediately viewing the Broad Band usage data or they should bear the cost of any excess beyond the 1(one) GB free download.

                          i have bsnl broadband connection in my pc
                          it is working but when i log on dataone.in to view my usage details it gives "invaild portal id & password.
                          so i cannot see details & i am getting more bill
                          my broadband connection is limited
                          without knowing details how i analyze that how much mb i am using
                          when i contact to regional bsnl office they are not telling my correct portalid &password
                          can i change my portalid?

Now it has been re-instated and i try to connect but error 691 appear and it sayes username and password is invalid. I have laptop with vista. What should I do?

                            Hi there,
                            I have been residing in a flat in BSNL Telehos Society, Chandigarh as my father was alloted a flat as he was a member of BSNL Telehos Society. Society is governed by a managmenet committee of its 7 members who are acting more like landlords of the society and sending threatening letters. I live on the 2nd floor and there has been leakage in the ceiling and walls of 1st floor occupants (leakage occurring more during rains). Since I live on the 2nd floor, 1st floor guys have been blaming me for not getting it done but in fact I have been bringing various plumbers to get it sorted and still trying to find the main cause. The first floor guy wants me to rip off whole of my bathroom's marble floor as he 'assumes' leakage is through the floor, which is just like a non-sense assumption till a concrete reason of the lekage is found by the plumbers. The reason of the leakage could be anythig such as the use of building material of lower quality as well but the 1st floor guys have been complaning against me to the secretary of the management committee who is their close friend. And this secretary has been making threatening calls and sending letters saying if we would not get it fixed within 10 days then action would be taken as per society's bye-laws. So far none of the committee members have looked in to the reason of leakage and such leakages are in 75% of the flats in this society which indicates building work was not done properly and not looked after by the committee at the time of construcion.

                            My questions are:-
                            1)What to do (legally) in such a situation where committee members are favouring someone? Which government authority to be contacted to avoid misuse of the power by anyone by becoming a committee member ?
                            2)Can a housing society make such a discriminatory bye-law and send threats to other occupants?

                            A prompt reply will be highly appreciated.

                            I have a similar kind of problem. There was a leakage. We solved it. Yet the society has sent a threatening letter saying it would go to the police station. We checked it and found there was no leakage from our side.
                            Can i go to the police station and file a complaint against the society for harresement. Can i serve them a legal notice?
                            what else can i do?

                              I am in H250 scheme in BSNL Broad band usage which allows free for a download/upload up to 1 gb. For the month of July '08, I was charged for BBusage charged for Rs. 413 as against my usage of Broadband 449MB only. It is highly tensioned me that I cant bear such an amount for not utilising the service.

                              Regarding this, I have contacted Mr. P. Govindan, Customer complaints at Karur, Tamil nadu(Phone No.[protected]. He told that his boss is out of station and also on leave and I was told to contact him on coming Wednesday(20/08/08)

                              I simply came back.

                              Please arrange to rectify the same

                              Your suggestions on my furthur move is solicited as the pay date of my bill is fixed as 27/08/08

                              Since last two months I am getting exorbitant bill beyond the tarrif plan of 199 for the same .
                              Pl. refer bill dt.9.10.2008 and 9.11.2008 and written complaints inthis regards.

                              Please ensure justice, and if not possible pl. advise me to surrender the broad band facility.

                              I was having a broad band connection with BSNL.My telephone no. was 25954811.I had taken this connection with the yearly payment option but before the begening of the next year I wrote a letter telling that I would like to opt for monthly payment option.To my surprise, I found that my continued to be as per my earlier option.I wrote a letter to rectify the bill but with no efeect it continued sending the bill, subsequentlt the line was discinnected but for more than a year the bill continued to come though I had pointed the problem once again.Now the bill for the next billing year has also come.

                              I would like to get rid of this poor service, BSNL should get the modem and handset back, I am ready to pay the bill for the period I got the service and settle my a/c.

                              Broadband usage charge is over billed for the last three months(dec,jan,feb). December month is come in jan month,but janaury month bill is not come suddenly last month last week come one bill then see the bill, i'm really shock see the bill. The division office can't responce asking this bill detail(broadband usage bill) officer told one offfice to anther branch office,they can't responce my bill details. pls cure my complaint. i'm attached the bill to this complaint.

                              BSNL — BILLING OF BROADBAND

                              MY Bsnl number is[protected] . My problem started in December 2009 when i changed my plan from Home 250 to Home 500 Combo Plus (with night unlimited 2:00-8:00am) . I used the broadband plan according to this plan for a day but when i checked my account for the user details it showed everything under chargeable even for the time between 2:00-8:00 so i went to the Bsnl office to confirm if my plan was actually changed or not and they said it had been changed and there might be some problem with the software so i forgot about it and used the connection as per the new plan but soon to my horror i recieved a bill of nearly Rs 52,000. when i went to bsnl office they said they will send my case to the banglore head office and after nearly a month and half they settled my acount for around Rs 1100 .But then again for the month of feburary they charged me the same way for everything despite the fact that i never changed the plan . when i went back they gave me the same reply that they ll send it to banglore then i did nt hear from them and i did not get my bill for the month of march so i went to get it and they tell me , they have a new software implemented and do not know when i ll get my bill (that it has not yet been generated) . I got the bill finally in april and to my shock all the previous settlements were being shown as outstanding and also insane amounts are being charged as taxes and late fees. I have been going to the Bsnl office in jaipur regularly and everytime they tell me that the new software does nt accept the adjustments . yesterday i got my last bill and it now says that the total amount has reached Rs 119000 somehow , i cant get it , PLEASE HELP ME .

                                    I want to draw the attention towards my broadband connection which was installed at my residence viswakarmapuram, padri bazar, gorakhpur with the telephone no. 2281957 vide your order dt. GV/NTC/Sulabh/5118 dt. 15.12.08. Vide my letter dt 1.2.09 I requested bsnl authority at GKP to disconnect my broad band connection from 1.2.09 again vide dt. 25.02.09 but the bill kept on issuing to me. I had requested that when I am not using broadband only telephone rental bill should be raised. But in the bill amount of broad band is being added which is quite embarassing. I have also deposited 50% of the bill last month but in this month again that amount is reflected. Pl look into the matter and resolve it and make arrangement to stop billing to avoid further complication.

                                    please draw your kind attention to the network arround humayunpur north, gorakhpur. in this location you can hardly dial or recieve the call, if got connected you can not talk smoothly as listener get interupted voice which are very tough to understand.
                                    so kindly look into the matter promptly to retain your customers of this area otherwise they have no option than to switch off the existing bsnl network.
                                    regain your image from "bhai sahab nahi milega" to bharat sanchar nigam limited.

                                      Unable to pay my bill online, unable to even register.
                                      The broadband service currently provided by BSNL at our office is Corporate plan 3000, but i never felt it was Broadband i am using.

                                      i do not know up till how long it will keep helping private players..
                                      when it will provide the intended services as desired...

                                        Hi,
                                        I have applied for new connection. Line man came and connected it to the comman area.
                                        I have furniture at the location where bulider has provided me a landline connection so that is not exposed . I need to get it from outside or need to have some work around. The line man has come there put in connection to the common box. Now he is saying your line is on .
                                        I want to know how I can still have connection?
