that was again cheating.

I sent sms to 53733 MGEN i received secret no[protected] if i recharge this number i am getting that is error code that indicates voucher is not found. whenever i sent smsto 53733 i am getting same secret no which i received on sep 28th .
finally more than one month passed plan was nat converted.

Sir, I am R/o Bhanudas Nagar Chanai Tq. Ambajogai having Land line Telephone No.[protected] . I have been using Boroadband Internet since last one year. I have opted for Home Plan @ Rs.250. My average monthly bill is around 600-800. But this month i.e. for the month of December 08 the bill has been charged as Rs.3799/- which is far excess than my usual bills. I suspect there is something wrong in the process of billing specially in respect of the bill shown towards the broadband usage charges and the amount of data shown. Please kindly look in to the matter and revise the bill immediately.

I too have experienced the same. My July usage showed 39 GB extra and have been charged Rs 24000/-. Now, after the complaints, I was suggested to go for Samadhan scheme and after all the settlement, I still have to pay Rs 12000/-. I am also trying to see what are the alternatives that I am left with. My details are as follows:

1. DataOne user for more than two years and have never had a case of excess usage in spite of Skype usage.
2. Suddenly from June, started getting excess usage and have paid Rs 4000/-.
3. From July onwards, started getting crazy bills charging Rs 24000/- etc.
4. Wanted to test if the recording of data by BSNL is fine or not. So, removed all unsecured access. Kept the modem switched off when not in use. To my shock, on the 5 days of trial where we noted down the times of modem being kept on, the BSNL data usage shows usage during hours where the Modem was OFF. In one instance, the BSNL portal shows an usage of 300 MB downl load, when the modem was OFF.
5. The local customer relationship officers have reduced the bills by half, but even then, the charges are highly unacceptable. Now I have to see what best I can do...

Yes I agree that it is little confusing as these are not provided to you by the BSNL office when you collect the MODEM.

The subscriber ID is your landline number with full std code suffixed.
and the subscriber circlr ID is the region of your loaction. i, e SOUTH /NORTH /WEST etc...

Hope this will help you complete your registration.

BSNL — Telephone and Internet service down

The phone and Internet service is down for last 7 days and not sure when it will be up as the whole road has been dug, Its not the fault of the customer if the telephone lines has been dug up due to the faulty contract done in previous days by not placing the telephone lines at the distant which is on papers of contract to keep the lines under ground. We will be billed for the entire month without any consideration as the lines were down due to the ineffeciancy of the telephone department. The phone number to register complaint is only accessable through bsnl phone, if the person does not have access to bsnl phone around he is handycap to file a complaint for his phone and Internet service .


The service is down in Shanti nager Gurgaon Haryana 122001, its not the question of one phone, but all the bsnl phones in that perticular area.
I think action will be taken soon to rectify and compensate people by not charging for the time service was down

My telephone & internet connection has been down for over 15 days[protected]. This seems to be a regular feature every month. We have been facing this problem for the past 1 year. If this is not rectified, we might have to move to a provider who gives better service.

i am staying at badmal,dist-bolangir,state-orissa,767770.
we are facing prob due to poor quality service of BSNL service
from last 7 days we are not able to call any person from BSNL
mobile service.when i am trying to call from my mobile all calls
are going one side .By which amount deducted my balance with
out talking any thing.All BSNL customers of this area facing the
same prob from last few days.
kindly take some necessary action to avoid such problem as

please dial *456*00#, this will show ur subscribed service, if taken.(a) if the service is subscribed then it will show you the way to unsubscribe it. ELSE (b) send unsub to 12555.

I received the same message from 12630019, on Jan 10th 2009, that I have been "Successfully" charged 19/- for unwanted Radio Service.. that too without my concern. Atleast I did not expect this kind of cheap tactics by Public sector company like BSNL. From then I have been charged 19/- each month (i.e., Rs. 114/- till June 2009).
When I contacted the customer service center regarding this issue, they give me a reply that, I pressed some buttons while talking to somebody and that’s the reason for enabling the Radio Service... Ridiculous...
Dear BSNL, Even if any type of such arrangement is there in your system, it is your minimum responsibility to send a request to me for confirming weather this facility enable or not.
Further whatever procedure they gave to unsubscribe from this scheme simply did not work. So, I here by request the concerned authority to take action against such schemes and refund my Rs 114/- talk time.

my number is [protected] and i am having prepaid connection, suddenly one day bsnl has send me msg that u have been subscribed to mobile radio and Rs.25 have been deducted from your balance, getting this message immediately i called to customer care, i told them that they have subscribed me to mobile radio without notifying me, and even i dont have radio in my cell and i myself do not have time to subscribe me to these stupid topics.but no response was taken from there side.again next month they have renewed me to radio subscription by deducting Rs. 25.
now i have unsubscribed myself, but i want to know how dare they subscribe me to these stupid things and deducted my balance, you can have the details of my call and every necessary documents from their office(dhanbad), .they have deducted the amount in the month of june and july 2009.
kindly look after the matter and help me to punish them so that next time they do not use fraud path for their benefit...if people subscribe themselves to these A.d's, its bsnl 's profit.and though i have not subscribed myself, they have done this fraud to get profit.all necessary help will be done from myside, jst let me know.

I have been charged Rs. 19 every month for mobile radio service. to deactivate this i approached the customer care service from where i got the information to activate the ivrs 12630033 to press the key no: 4. But to the surprise in that ivrs there is only option to press the key no:5 which is meant for mobile radio activation. Besides that if we press the key no:4 a comment had been received that "you've presssed the wrong key". If it is so, then what is the procedure to get away from this unwanted, unwilling, unknowing, scrubbing of Rs.19/ from our account. It is not fair.

As i am totally agree with the above comment . Same thing happened to me on 17/3/2010. When i call to customer care regarding activation of service without my permission, they didnt response.

When I searching the numbers she disconnected the line. Since morning I tried to contact costumer care after all steps and finally asked me press 9 to contact person but coming voice record stating that my pressing 9 is wrong. This very bad to say that today itself I loosed Rs, 39/- unwanted services. Kindly deactivate this two services immediate and add my amount other wise i want to proceed consumer forum for getting justice. The BSNL is a government company and it is very bad that cheating the costumers by using this type of cheap tactics.

I paid my bill in time but bsnl deptt. People disconnected my landline connection. Now deptt. People are saying that the connection disconnected due to nonpayment of bill.
So please solve my problem and give the details of the bill payment which is made by me for bsnl. I shall be very thankful to you.

BSNL — Removal of Services

Dear Sir/Mam,

I am a user of BSNL sim card no [protected] in the name Elisa Sahu. From past few months many of the services are being activated on my cell. I have called Costumer care many times to remove all the services but in vain. Constantly my account is been debited for the services. Kindly remove all my services activated on my cell no.

sir I would like to submit this kindly for prompt action.. I got connection 1.5yrs back first two months very poor service. I complaint many times but no response. they did everything time being only. hope I complaint more than 100 times but still struggle. so finally i wish to apply at consumer court.pls help me

Today, 11/2/2009 I have purchased one indian telephone card from BSNL portal for Rs562. I made payment through my Axis bank a/c, transaction receipt is ICONN/7846469/[protected]/110209/110. and debit my a/c also same time. At the time system given me a 14 digit no ([protected]) please give me correct 16 digit IT secret number or Rs562 credit my a/c .

I am a BSNL Customer my mob No is [protected].on 26 Mar my Mob GPRS is activated but when i was connect to the GPRS to PC then ERROR : 777 is shown on my desktop. My mob set is Samsung SGH - B520. and I was dial up with *99***1# but the error is contiuning. That why I was continue ph to the Customer care contiuniusly but no positive reply is from them. They are adviced me that my complain already been fwd to the concern deptt. and but no phone or call tome from your concern department. Please do the need ful. I am wait for your positive action.

Broadband Complaint — error 678

Despite the complaint lodged two days, once again this morning the error 678 has re-appeared and the broadband is down.
Cannot reach complaint booking on 1500 as IVR systems abruptly stops and no oned answers 2225225 ( time 11.35am)
Finally I have lodged complaint # 4 on phone 2385385 ( Telephone exchange at Sushant lok, Gurgaon)
Please note high frequency of error occurrence on account error 678

I am a customer of BSNL Bangalore telephone for more than Ten years. My telephone instrument is not working properly. While making call by my friends and relatives there is no corresponding ringing here. I have been issued a duplicate sim by bsnl gurgaon against my faulty one.after passing of 15 days, my sim had not been reactivated ??
