BSNL postpaid mobile — sim card registration cancelled

i am a senior citizen, mobile no [protected]. post paid manik jod scheme with [protected]. suddenly mobile shows sim card registration cancelled.from16/09/10. dockt on 12/09/19.dockt no 6062886.no out standing payment due.

No complaint in customer care helps in such problem. DumDum exchange people also of no help. You better visit Salt Lake exchange with your cell and SIMcard. I got good responce from them when visited for some other issue with my CellOne connection.

I have a BSNL sim card for my mobile number No:[protected] taken from BSNL Bangalore. I never use internet nor play games which are to be paid. Yesterday I received a message stating I am charged Rs: 50/- (message from[protected]. I am asked to play the game by unlocking code 615959. I never asked for this nor I wants to play. I have already replied by message to the number stating that I don't want to play the money shall be credited back to my account for which they have charged Rs: 5. Neither I received a reply nor they have credited the amount of Rs: 50/-

Again I received a message from 5567800 stating I am chargedRs: 3 of VAS service, I never asked for any service. Further if I want to discontinue from this service I have to send a SMS stating YES to the number. I don't understand why BSNL is doing this to poor customer charging them for the service they have not asked for.

I request that the charges may be reverted immediately.

The BSNL Service providers are not sending " GPRS " settings to my Mobile Handset, even after hundreds of times I have called them. CellOne — deactivate the sim

My name is herpreet kaur .Today i lost my phone in rudrapur .My number is [protected].Please deactivate my sim.

For the past several months my internet connection is not working. My phone set is also giving problem and i am not able to hear the other side whenever a call comes. I have loggd complaints for both these problems and have been calling up daily to follow up these issues. The BSNL representatives response is "It will be done today". This has been going on almost 2 weeks now. Please look into these issues at the earliest.

Very poor data transfer rate & and maximum time no connection..

I am a postpaid mobile customer of BSNL. I have been using the GRPS (Rs.200/-) plan since 2007. First, the data transfer rate was pretty good at 10.15 kbps. But, now, the transfer rate has come down considerably to as low as 1 to 1.2 kbps. I tried to complain to BSNL authorities, but their website does not provide any help to the customer who wishes to lodge complaints about their poor GPRS service. Whenever calling the toll free number, the person answering will attribute this either to the problem of the server or other network related problems. Whatever be the reason, the speed has not improved for the last 6-7 months but the bills are coming correctly without any "network" or "Server" problem. Kindly address this problem immediately. Here, the customers like me are cheated by BSNL by charging Rs.200/- per month, without giving the service with the proper speed. The current speed has no use to the customer as it cannot be used for downloading even a small file which takes hours to download. Either BSNL should stop giving GPRS service or else they should improve the connection and data transmission speed to at least 25 kbps at a constant rate. My mobile No. is[protected]

shame BSNL shame... they dont have right be internet service providers

last month i inquired the BSNL guys about the plan 199 for cellone post paid connection.
they said.. its better than any other and u will get minimum speed of 120 to 122 kbps on mobile and laptop.

i bought a new sim from bsnl.. got the plan 199 activities with lot of hassles.. this form.. that form.. and what not.. (these guys are so reluctant to give the services to the customer..may be because they have their jobs secured by the government)

finally.. i started using it and what i see is that.. the speed that i get is absolutely ruthless..like 1 kbps.. 1.2 kbps.. and most of the time even MSN or yahoo messenger dont start due to these speeds.. or i have to wait for 20 minutes to get them on..even www.google.com says server timed out at times.. its real shame on the internet services...

believe me.. the confirmation code to display in this page is taking more than 36 minutes.. guess.. what a pain it can be

Hai, I am using BSNL GPRS for the last one month. But at times, I am not getting GPRS network. It says "unable to connect, try again." I went to BSNL customer care and asked them about this. To be frank, even one person does not know why it happens. They do not even know what to do with this. It is a real shame on BSNL having such a "good for nothing" staff. I do not have any problem with BSNL since I know that BSNL is a govermenet owned company and carries good technology than any company in India but I do have problem with their staff (I can't help saying customer care is pathetic). The staff are real curse of BSNL.

I was using airtel gprs a month ago. It was 200% better than bsnl... It gave me superb speed even without edge.. With edge it will be like broadband during morning times. But Bsnl, gr8 government of India just doesnt take care of their customers. I got the Bsnl sim card after looking at their gprs 230 plan but now I feel so bad about that.. 300 bugs wasted. I tried Bsnl data card. It showed only 230kbps but the download speed is above 20kBps.but even with edge I cant even start downloading a photo with Bsnl gprs. Telecom Minister.. Damn..

The BSNL GPRS is the perhaps poorest service for the one year. They are virtually looing the people.

even me too facing the same problem..firstly i was not getting settings for my model..customer care is useless.i configured these settings manually...now its connecting, but very slow...sumtimes no connection at all...shame on u bsnl..plz stop gprs service

i m using GPRS for the last 6 years and i get 28-30Kbps downloading speed... it is depend on the range... i m satisfied with this GPRS service... very nice in only 199/- Rs... amazing .. :-)

my gprs speed is too low to open a site. it takes about 2-3 minutes to fully load my gmail a/c.

BSNL data services — Poor data transfer rate

The BSNL services providers promise a data rate in the range of Mbps for wireless 3G connection. But the data transfer rates, in reality lie within 0.00 to 20 kbps for most part of the day. Sometimes it sticks to 0.00 kbps, thereby making even surfing impossible. Downloading is also possible at night only.

I had buy a bsnl krushi plan card before 1 month for high speed gprs. Its gprs speed is great but only for 20-25 days. Then, its gprs speed become so poor. Now i hate to myself that why i had buy this card.

BSNL — non working of a landline number though my cellphone,which registered under excel power service.

I am a user of Cellone prepaid service for last four years . My cell No. is [protected] . I am using Exelpower service for approximately 20 months . The two numbers registered under this service are:- (a) [protected] & (b) [protected] . Fore last four days i.e. from 19/March/2008 I am not being able to dialthe second number of the above from my cell, as whenever this number is being dialed it says that " The dialed number does not exist " In order to settle the problem I called the customer service centre ([protected] ) on 21/March/2008 & appraised them about the problem & was assured that they would soon fix it . Today I again called & told them that the problem is still persisting & requested them to do the needfull . But today I received a regret from them as they told me that this is a problem which relates to the local CCN office & that they could not handle it . Now for last five days I am not allowed to call my parents as the number blocked on my cellphone is of my parents, & the customer service centre of this department which is claimed to be the right place for solving the problems of their customers has not been able to help me after wasting so much time of mine . Besides it is also surprising that what the use of a customer service centre which instead of fixing the problem, has become a place where after wasting time I can get another address to go to & then hope that will again not find another address to go to !

BSNL power plan — Delay in activation of power plan

I opted for power plan of BSNL which was suppose to be activated in 48hrs.This was promised to me on 10th of February 2009.Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

We are really wonder how come it is closed when the complaint is not attended by anyone from BSNL.

This is been happneing very frequently. We been calling to BSNL no proper response from your end.As soon as this mail is reached to u, and if the problem is not rectified as early as possible, it is better to close the connection of BSNL and we go for other connections, where do we have good service. Phone will not work for half of the month but Bill charges are supposed to pay for monthly bill. We are not at all satisfied with this connection. As per your action to this reaction further connections of BSNL will be continued. Or else treat this letter that we will disconnect BSNL connection. This is for your further information.

58888 service occasionaly sends messags :used WAP service on Charges Rs 10. I have never used this service. Nor I have givren requisition for this service.Can they tell the reasons for this?

I have already complained about charging of Rs 10 every now and then in the name of wap subscription service on 20th of february but today again the company has deducted Rs 10 on account of this service.There appearrs no check of these complaints.This is a good source of revenue to bsnl.The company is going in doldrums and clinging to straws for revenue.I am thinking of shifting to Vodafone on this very account.

I have applied for shifting of our residential telephone on 22.05.2010 along with all the necessary documents. The order for [censored]ing the phone was prepared on hte same day. I was informed that the shifting will take about one week's time. Now it is about to one month since I have applied for the same without any result. When I have re-visited the BSNL office, twice, meanwhile, I was assured that it will be over in one or two days.
