I had applied for BSNL Broadband connection in gurgaon on 30th March 08 & provided all my documents to BSNL executive who came to my house. I waited whole April month for anyone from BSNL office to come and install the required setup for Broadband i.e Land Line connection and Broadband setup but unfortuneltey nobody responded. Then one day I rang up the BSNL office and requested to make the setup, I also went to office but they told me that your phone no. have been generated but we can't do the setup as our line man is on leave for 1 month. Then I waited the 15 days again, and same result, no one appeared at my Home. Again the same story continued on May month. It continued till 15 May 08 when someone came from BSNL & give me the landline phone connection, and not Broadband, for which I have applied.

So the same loop started, Now I called have to call daily in the office for broadband staus and same reply "It will be done... !! ".On 15th June 08 somebody came to my house for configuring broadband but he said there is some issue with exchange & it will be done in another 2 more days after waiting 2 days I had give up & nobody replied me again.

BSNL Broadband — No broadband connection allotted

Hi,
6 month back I have booked for broadband connection, They have installed phone line at my home 3 month back but still I have'nt got any call from bsnl guys to install modem and broad band. They are sending landline bill every month.
Please help I am a IT profressional I need broad band conn. immediately.

BSNL Broadband — NO one has come to configure

Sir,
I had booked the BSNL broadband internet home pack on 1st November 2008. I have received the telephone instrument and modem. But no one has come to install and configure the system.
Whom should I complain to? Will I be charged for the non working days also?
bsnl offer many things but their attitude towards customers is to first delay, then postpond thier grivivences and the leave it to die itself

i was offered extra (free) rental land line connection but not complied with even after three months

similarly ther is an offrer to 20% rebate on retired central govt staff on broadband but no one to guide and there is no procedure to avail this facility

I want broad band connection at my residence in Gurgaon
Hi All, i have taken a connection of BSNL Broadband, an engineer come to configure the same but he told us thst there is a problem with a back end and same will be fixed wihithin half an hour, but after two days also there is no internet connection provided by them and when we call to them they told us to call to GSM and ask them about the same, nothing is in our hand

Please take some serious action for this

I have submitted my request to remove broadband facility to my number 2254095 in your office, but it is still working. will you pls confirm when will you remove it. I got fed off huge bills from BSNL, as I have not used it so much. Now I request you to confirm me when will you remove the same.

    I am paying my bills through icici bank automatically. For the last two
    months My phone is dead & is disconnected because of non payment.
    I tried to reach the following number [protected] no one is picking up the
    phone.
    I have not used the phone for the last two months still I am getting the
    phone bills.

    Kindly do the needfull. I tried to send email to bangalore email contact;
    mail returned back.

        A telephone booth is there in our locality named ‘NIVARANI TELECOM’ addressed 16, Dr.G.C. Goswami Street, Serampore, Hooghly, Pin – 712201, (Near Mitali Samsad Club and Serampore Railway Station, Platform no 1&2).

        Three or four months before the shopkeeper named ‘Bappa’ announced a fabulous offer, that BSNL will issue a lifetime connection along with a black & white hand set for just Rs.25/-(Twenty five only). This offer from BSNL will be available from this shop only. And one, who will subscribe 20 or more connections, will get a Nokia6600 color camera handset. At that time BSNL was issuing lifetime connections for free, from its mobile shops in our locality. First we did not believe his words, but at the end, when he shown us an advertisement from BSNL in a Bengali newspaper we believed and deposited Rs.25/- and all the necessary documents to him.

        After a week he had issued a lifetime SIM card of BSNL, containing Rs.65/- as Talk-Time. This is the only thing we have received from him but no hand set at all. When we asked about the handset, he replied that BSNL has changed the scheme, and now we have to give him Rs. 50/- for black & white handset and Rs. 75/- for color handset, as extra, and we will have another Lifetime SIM card. Many of our friends give the same money once again but the result was the same at last. They have got the SIM card only nothing else at all.

        Now, from the last two or three weeks he is asking Rs. 337/-(Three hundred and thirty seven only) for the service charges of BSNL, we have to pay if we want to have the mobile hand sets. Many of the local people have given him the money again. He has assured them that they will definitely have their mobile handset on 15th of July, 08. But the rest who have given him Rs.25/- or Rs.50/- or Rs.75/- for the first time will not get the mobile handset at all.


        For your kind information we had a talk to the customer care officer of BSNL regarding this matter, he has informed us that no such type of offer has been issued by BSNL, but he can do nothing to the shopkeeper until we make a complain in the local exchange, he also refused to give us any further contact to whom we can discuss in this matter. The local exchange put their hands up from this issue and said that those SIM cards were issued from the Kolkata exchange so they should look into this matter. We are undecided, how to take some legal steps on this issue to prevent this kind of cheating.

        I have ACT 1S scheme activated since dec-2009 . But my outgoing call rate deducted Rs.@ 1 / call except maharashtra on land line ie. Madhyapradesh.

        And I received sms from your end charged 1 paise per second for all lacal & STD calls

          Sir, bsnl is providing very very poor service in assam. There is hardly remain mobile network at BOGINADI area lakhimpur district, assam. BSNL has set up a tower there but it is using for only national highway coverage and not for the vast population of the BOGINADI area. BSNL has simply harrasing the ppls of the area. Network strenght hardly remain 'single'. To cover the vast BOGINADI area atleast two towers are needed which other operator has been setup already. So i advice d BSNL autority to tune up mobile tower at greater boginadi area and improve the service. Thanx

            I have a landline connection[protected] at A5/24A, sector-71,
            Noida.The landline as well as the broadband connections were activated in Apr 08.Broadband has frequent failures as error 678 is displayed and the telephone also stops working. I wanted to lodge complaint on[protected] but there is no response.Even the no[protected] of sec-58 exchange remains busy all the time and if at all the bell rings it is unattended.Off late there has been frequent breakdowns of the broadband as well as landline service, for lodging complaints one has to go to the exchange personally.Whenever I want to start the internet it doesn't connect.BSNL is requested that the complaint registering nos should be properly attended to.If frequent breakdowns continue in the landline & broadband connections then I will be forced to surrender the connection.

              I had submitted a form to tranfer my landline connection from jayanagar to kumaraswamy layout. Its already a month now. I still didnt get the phone connection transfered but i got a bill of about Rs500/- to be paid.

              We went to the Jayanagar 5th block branch to get the information. They said the request has be sent to the Kumaraswamy layout branch. After meeeting the Kumaraswamy layout branch officials,
              we were told to get in touch with a person named Narayana (PH:[protected]). Narayana has been postponing the things and he was on leave for somedays. After a week, when we went to the office, we were told to contact other persons by name Narsappa and Nalini (Ph:[protected] /[protected]. we have been meeting them personally for the past one month, but there is no progress. Suggest me how can get it done..

              We have the exact same problem. Jayanagar 5th Block JTO also turned us away saying matter is now with Kumarwamy layout exchange. There is no progress and despite visiting home, the lineman has not activated the line. I believe these are just tactics to extort payment. Nothing has changed in BSNL, especially now that they have a role model in A Raja
              Oh! the case is same with every one in Kumarawamy layout exchange. My case is very worst. I applied for shift on Dec-2011 and now its July 2012 ... connection not yet come.
              Every time they give an explanation like Cable has some problem. etc etc.
              This purely indicates that they expecting some bribe ...

              So I am deciding to go for the cancellation of my connection and go for some private agencies... they give with in 48 hours

                  As per the unbilled usage of data transfer shown in BSNL broad band Account managment website usage table 32nd entry recorded that I had transferred 808592 KB data. I have not used or downloaded such a huge amount of data transfer within this specified time. I would request you to help me to solve the unexpected hike in data transfer and to get a relief from my miserables as soon as possible.

                    Respected sir

                    Myself Abdulkadir A.Maniar from Valsad, Gujarat, having land line no :[protected].

                    we got the land line bill for the month of may-2008 in which there was amount of around 1100Rs is included as an Debit one. by equiring our local exchange they did informed that it was due to the maximum usage of internet.

                    But our usage is maximum 2 to 3 hrs and by taking the broad band connection not more than 3 months have been passed and till now we did download less than 2GB of the data from the net.

                    So please tell me how this sum of money is included in our landline bill as we have paid the charge for broad band for one year in advance.

                    Sir please inform about this matter as early as possible considering as serious one.

                      This is Sandeep Shivprasad Kala S/O of Mr. Shivprasad Mansaram Kala telephone no. 2705886 Add: 402, Sant Pahuram Apt, Nr Bewas Chowk, Ulhasnagar-421001. last month I received BSNL broadband connection from BSNL Broadband Office, Telephone Exchange, Gaol Maidan, Ulhasnagar that is after 8 month of submmiting my application form for the broadband connection whereas BSNL claim to provide the services within three month

                      Issue:
                      Since from my first day of getting broadband I am facing disconnection problem. Hardly my internet connection is working for 10 minutes after connecting to broadband services and from 13th June, 2008 after connecting to broadband I am not getting broadband connection as it is showing ERROR 691 (Showing comments verifying password and user name).

                      Poor Services:
                      I had provided two telephone numbers 2700922 J.T.O Shri R.S.Bhalerao and 2453030 S.D.E Shri J.B.Shindekar and whenever I am dialing these two numbers, no one is picking up the phone that is no response.

                      On 16th June, 2008 I had personally visited to BSNL Braodband office of telephone exchange Goal Maidan Ulhaanagar, from where I got the connection to meet Shri R.S.Bhalerao. He told me that he is not responsible for such error, he had given me some other number, which are as follows 1501, 2203505, 2210626, and 2207020-concern persons name Mr. Patil and Mrs. Anapure.

                      First I had dial 1501 from where they had given me the number to complaint for broadband was [protected] than I had tried this number. I spoke to Customer Excutive Mr. Moreshwar and he told me that they can’t solve my problem as I will have to contact my service center. Than from morning 12.30 p.m to 3.45 p.m I had tried the other given number of Kalyan service center after trying for more than 3 hours lucky I got connected to Mr. Patil and he told me that today itself he will solve my issue he had also given me his mobile no. [protected] but this is also of no use, as he had not given any response since then and still my problem persist I AM NOT HAVING BROADBAND CONNECTION FROM LAST FIVE DAYS.

                      Conclusion
                      In the light of above please tell me WHOM SHOULD I CONTACT NOBODY IS RESPONDING ME I AM WASTING MY TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY AND ALSO GETTING MENTALLY STRESSED BECAUSE OF ALL THIS PASS ON ACTIVITIES. And now if I am not having any broadband connection than why the hell should I pay the bill? IF I AM GETTING SUCH POOR SERVICES AND MANAGEMENT so it is better that you disconnect my broadband connection.

                      KINDLY NOT THAT I AM NOT GOING TO PAY A SINGAL PAISA IN A RUPEE FOR MODERM BUT ONLY THE AMOUNT OF MY USES.

                      I have Broadband connection in BSNL but there is no supply in my moderm i complain to Call center of BSNL they file a complaint last three months back and after month ago i call and ask but no respons from call center than i get line than they gave one Network eng contact no but no respons from that side also iam busy with my job so i cant able to go and cut the connection so i not saticfied with these BSNL services very very poor

Than from morning 12.30 p.m to 3.45 p.m I had tried the other given number of Kalyan service center after trying for more than 3 hours lucky I got connected to Mr. Patil and he told me that today itself he will solve my issue he had also given me his mobile no. [protected] but this is also of no use, as he had not given any response since then and still my problem persist I AM NOT HAVING BROADBAND CONNECTION FROM LAST FIVE DAYS.

                      Conclusion
                      In the light of above please tell me WHOM SHOULD I CONTACT NOBODY IS RESPONDING ME I AM WASTING MY TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY AND ALSO GETTING MENTALLY STRESSED BECAUSE OF ALL THIS PASS ON ACTIVITIES. And now if I am not having any broadband connection than why the hell should I pay the bill? IF I AM GETTING SUCH POOR SERVICES AND MANAGEMENT so it is better that you disconnect my broadband connection.

                      KINDLY NOT THAT I AM NOT GOING TO PAY A SINGAL PAISA IN A RUPEE FOR MODERM BUT ONLY THE AMOUNT OF MY USES.

                      After connecting broadband after 2-3 minutes no a single page is opening, I have to disconnect it and again have to connect it and refresh the page to solve this problem, my telephone number is 24335927. Sometime even yahoo, rediff, gmail is not opening even, I ghave already log a written complain through calcutta telephone's website, the compalin number is QBBENW61104, before this several times i have made compalin to [protected] broadband helpline number, but didnot got any response, kindly look in to this matter seriously.

                          i have got a bsnl broadband home500 plan in kashipur uttarakhand and according to that plan i can download 1500 mb in a month for free and between 0200 to 0800 hrs I can downlod unlimited . But sir, this month bsnl has charged me about 450 rs. extra for downloading over the limit. But sir in the online records of bsnl i have only downloaded 1300 mb i.e under my limit. I also filed a written complaint to rectify my bill to haldwani office.
                          but no one helped me out there.
                          Sir kindly see to this matter on the urgent basis so that my bill could be rectified.

                          We at our Foundation have faced same type problem. We are in Rs 250 per month 1 GB limit. on one day (June 3rd2008) they showed usage in one second 1.3 GB and next 97 minutes another 1.3 GB . Technically they bsnl people say it is a spurt and spill. We are fighting with sarkari babus. We have to make noice. one thing is truth will be established.The usage portal is full of bugs and we can challange them. we need tools to establish our browsing history. search in web an install in your sysetm.

                          BSNL Broadband — extra amount charged

                          Hello Sir,

                          I am using BSNL Broadband since last 2 years.
                          I have been charged with an extra amount of Rs.164 since last 3 months for an feature called MOD which I have never subscribed.

                          I had informed this issue to them, but still they still haven't taken action to resolve this issue.
                          If things like this continue it could affect the popularity of BSNL
                          If this issue is not resolved I would like to terminate the connection and go for another service provider.

                          Hello There i recently took BSNL (BHOOLE SE NA LE)Broadband Connection.
                          when i went to purchase connection bsnl people told me that i will get 512KB/sec Speed till 6GB and after that i will get 256KB/sec.
                          But i am getting very slow internet speed (20KB/sec-30KB/sec).
                          i went to bsnl office in kashipur and registered my complaint, after 2 days they sent a guy @ my home who was a line-man. i asked him do you have any knowledge about this? the guy Replied no i came here to just complete the formalities.
                          still i am suffering this problem.
                          What should i do ???

                              Night usage(Free Usage) 517 MB (2:00 AM to 8:00 AM)
                              Morning usage 3315 MB (8:00 AM to 2:00AM)
                              Free Usage given
                              By BSNL(excluding night) 2560 MB
                              So, Actual ChargeableUsage 755 MB
                              Net Amount(0.8 ps per MB) Rs 604.00

                              Bill statement for the month Feb 2008(bill date 08-Mar-2008) given for us
                              BBFMC 500.00
                              BBMFMC 60.00
                              Internet Bill 604.00
                              Tel.Ph bill 306.00
                              fixed monthly rent 260.00
                              Service Tax 214.00
                              Total Bill 1944.00

                              But Actual bill that we used for the month of Feb 2008 is as follows

                              Total usage 3923 MB
                              Night usage(Free Usage) 2675 MB (2:00 AM to 8:00 AM)
                              Morning usage 1248 MB (8:00 AM to 2:00AM)
                              Free Usage given
                              By BSNL(excluding night) 2560 MB

                              By the above statement we have utilized 1248 MB only which is under 2560 MB.
                              So, Correct amount that we have to pay only Rs 560.00

                              So correct bill that we expected including Land line is

                              BBFMC 500.00
                              BBMFMC 60.00
                              Tel.Ph bill 306.00
                              fixed monthly rent 260.00
                              Service tax 142.00
                              Total Bill 1268.00

                              So, extra amount that we paid was Rs 676.00

                              In this regard, we complained by written complaint against this wrong billing to Accounts Officer, BSNL(charminar branch), Hyderabad on 05.04.2008 .
                              But no action is taken in this regard till date.

                              i had a NIC card bearing account no.[protected] & phone no [protected] which was submitted for Permanent closure on 12/03/2010 vide Sl.No.28497 on customer service centre slip.i had also deposited Rs. 552/- vide postal receipt no 105 dated 23/02/2010.Furter, to my agony i received a bill on 25th of this month featuring an amount due for Rs 828/- to be paid by me.

                              BSNL — WRONG BILLING AND MENTAL HARASSMENT

                              I have taken BSNL connection in the month of feb 2010 with plan o[censored]nlimited internet @ of Rs1000. In month of march I submitted an application to them to change the plan to minimum plan available at that time as I was going out of town for next 6 month. BSNL din't provided bill for next 3-4 month as they had some problem with their billing process. when I came back they had send me collective bill for 5 month without changing my plan ( i.e. they have charged me according to unlimited plan for Rs 1000 inspite of submitted application for change of plan). when I brought their mistake in notice. They said my application must have been misplaced somewhere and now have to pay whole bill according to 1st plan. I went to then for n number of time but they dint listen and throughout this process they were rude and un supportive. my bsnl phone number is[protected]

                              BSNL — Mental Harrasment

                              I submitted a request to BSNL to disconnect my home land line connection due to poor services they provided.
                              I received a final bill of amount Rs 3718 for the settlement and I paid it through cheque on 30/07/11 .
                              After few months, I am receiving again the notice to deposit the same amount , otherwise legal action will be taken.

                              Please take some action as its nothing but just a mental harassment to us.

                              How can we rely on these big companies in future?

                                  Subject : Kindly adjust the excess amount (Rs 2946) paid using portal in the current and coming bills.

                                  Due to technical difficulties while making payments using BSNL portal website http://portal.bsnl.in, I performed 3 payments transactions over the portal for the Bill No : T[protected] dated 8th-mar-08 with Bill Amount as Rs 1473 till i got a transaction status as success for all the transactions made. (they were in status Initiated earlier).( Receipts Attached).

                                  This resulted in an excess payment twice (Rs1473+Rs1473=Rs2946).

                                  The Excess amount (Rs1473+Rs1473=Rs2946) has not been adjusted in the current bill cycle (Bill no : T[protected]dated 26-May-2008 with amount as Rs.1314).

                                  I request you sir/madam, to kindly adjust this amount in the current and coming bill cycles.

                                  Please find the Following documents attached with this mail.
                                  - Receipts for the 3 transactions made for the same bill ( T[protected] dated 8th-mar-08 with Bill Amount as Rs 1473)
                                  - Portal Details.
                                  - Phone Details

                                  I had called up Accounts office Tarnaka and was asked to follow up the issue with Accounts Officer Musheerabad.

                                  The Accounts officer Musheerabad told me not to make the payment for this Month and the rest of the amount would be deducted in the coming cycle.

                                  I had even asked her if i had to submit any letter but she said its not necessary but, On June 13th my outgoing connection of the phone gets disconnected. The good part is at least the incoming service is working.

                                  Kindly do the needful and oblige.

                                    I, Neeraj Garg phone number[protected], Bathinda, Punjab, having broadband service from approx. 10 months and i paid off full amount in advance for the Modem. Since i got your service i used to have approx 1400 Rs. unlimited Plan which i had to transfer to low speed which costs approx 700Rs Per month because of on going internet disconnectivity issue. Everytime we have to complain between your landline and internet broadband service complaint center. I was in india for 6 months when i made multiple complaints to your Center located at Gole Diggi Location, Peeli Kothi at Thandi Sadak and also at Main Exchange near Court at Bathinda City Punjab. If you can't trust please check out your complaint record I am sure you will have in your database because of complaints are being recorded on to IVR.

                                    Most of the time they said we had to change the wiring which they did or had to say its not working due to some Maintenance or difficulties. And on top of that some of the engineers i dont know where they are getting knowldege told my wife to not to turn on the Modem when they don't use it otherwise it won't work properly. I dont understand the fact how the heck a datacenter can work 24x7x365 continuously turning on all of the Servers, Routers and swtiches. I am working also in a Datacenter in Canada, for me if i would be an illetrate or uneducated or non-technical person, i can take the crap whatever your engineers they told to a customer. Being a customer i dont expect we get this kind of service every day even you are not able to access internet 30 min in a day out of 24 hours. If thats the best service BSNL is providing then why would we have to pay full bills. Same story again and again Yellow light blinks on and does not stable, means you dont get internet connectivity at all.

                                    Its a hassel to going back and forth between landline and Broadband service customer care.Because landline customer care says, phone is working fine nothing to do with the internet. and broadband customer care they say if there is no phone service internet wont work properly. We are not damn crazy, thats the way internet works atleast in india.

                                    Would you please give me the specific reason beyond what technical staff stays " Internet wont work properly if you turn on Modem continuosly" Is there any Rules and Regulations which specifies Modem does not stay turned on for 24 hours. Now its third day i am not able to speak to my wife on internet!

                                    Please get back to me if any one of the GM or Manager can, who is atleast technical in Punjab terrotairy or have time to discuss this matter or troubleshoot the root cause to provide the best solution.

                                    BSNL Broadband — no link and can't use broadband

                                    broadband link does not come and i am unable to use the internet if the link comes

                                    BSNL is very expensive and they have very irresponsible staff.

                                    Customer care service at BSNL is nothing as compared to other private operators.

                                    They are getting good salaries from government without working hard so they are misusing their duties.
                                    I HAVE PHONE NO- [protected], USING BROADBAND SERVICE TILL ONE YEAR, BUT FROM LAST MONTH I AM FACING A LOT OF PROBLEM AT NET SERFING. MY MODEM'S LINK (YELLOW) LIGHT BLINKING (UP-DOWN) VERY FREQUENTLY, AT THE SAME TIME LINE IS GETTING DISCONNECTED. THE MECHANIC WHO HAS COME 3 WEEKS AGO FROM YOUR OFFICE HAS ADVISED ME TO CHECK THE WIRING. THE LINE MAN CAME AND CHECKED DEEPLY HE FOUND THAT THERE IS NO ANY FALT IN LINE. PLEASE INSTRUCT TO THE SERVICE ARE INCHARGE TO CHECK THE MODEM EITHER THERE IS ANY FALT IN THE MODEM. I REALLY FEELS IN PROBLEM WHEN I WORKS ON INTERNAT. PLEASE DO NEEDFULL PERSONALLY SO THAT I MAY USE BROADBAND SATSIFACTORILY.

                                      This is Rajender Kumar from bhiwani disst. haryana my BSNL Number is [protected]. I am using this connection in chandigarh .I am useing bsnl pre-paid connection last 1 years now i faceing many problems starts from 5 oct. 2010 my incomming and out going calls are barred unofficially by customer care executive (Mr vinod Sineor customer care executive ) I have to call in bsnl customer care many times but their software are always hang and down.


                                      I am waiting for a hopefull responce from BSNL Prepaid customer care .

                                        Online Bill Payment

                                        Hi,

                                        When I login to BSNL portal (http://portal.bsnl.in/) and view outstanding bill for registered postpaid cellone connection and try to pay bill online, the site does not redirect me to a proper page. I think it should display list of banks with an option to make payment but it just does not display anything useful or displays an error sometime.
