I have been using BSNL Broadband from 13 May 2008. I have 'Home 500' scheme. For this scheme, the actual transfer rate(downloading rate) is about 256kbps to 2mbps. But, from the date I am using broadband, I notice that the downloading rate is only between 30kbps to 40kbps. This consumes a lot of time to download which is so irritatting and also clearly shows that it is far far below the advertised/assured transfer rate . Hence, i request to rectify this problem and increase the transfer rate atleast upto 256kbps, if not upto 2mbps.

BSNL — Shitting within the same complex

This is very bad, for telephone within the same complex no action has being done. It is now more than 10days.
Whom to contact and what to do??? BSNL should be privatized.
ya even i am facing the same problem.what should i do improve the transfer rate?
initialy all the four lights are burning and within short time internet light is get off after that we have to wait for some time to get the line again .it happends regulerly from the past six months no bodys taking care to rectify.in this regard informed to general manager cbe and nearest exchange kurichi cbe but no action so farf4b14

i am unlimited plan but i got only 20-30 transfer rate...pls help me increase my transfer speed
I am not getting proper speed. At times it is very slow & ultimately I have to shut down my computer. Lately it is more then before.Complaining -get reply we will see that it works but remain static.
Can I expect better connectivity??
first of all note that i[censored]r speed is 256 kbps then divide this 256 by 8 = 32 kbps this should be ur speed i[censored] have 256kbps o[censored]nlimited plan
actually the actual download bandwidth is no the bandwidth you applied for, its is always 1/8th or/10th of the actual bandwidth, and it depends of lots of factors, you can increase your download speed if you are using XP by limiting to the reserve bandwidth of XP from 20% to 0%, you and do that using group policy editor. I am also using bsnl from 2 years and believe me you will not get better speed than any other provider for the particular plan
I have been using BSNL broadband from "FEB 2009". I have subscribed for 750 unilimited home plan which assures me of getting 256kbps of speed. But for the past few months I have been noticing that 100kbps of speed is what I am getting. I tried calling the customer care center but consistantly there has been no takers for my call. Please fix up this problem.
My Broad Band connection is Rs.750.00 home plus but i am getting transfer rate 17 to 27 kb/s only. I have complained several times to my bsnl 2651 exchange(HOWRAH, WEST BENGAL) and[protected]. since last year i have been getting nothing other than " DEKH RAHA HOO, TURANT SAMADHAN HO JAYEGA." . I do not know why they have promised for up to 256kb/s ! Does it means uppppp tooooo 256kb/s? HAM NE KAB AUR KAHAN BOLA APP KO 27KB/S SE JADA SPEED MILEGA ? BOLA - MIL SAKTA HAI. Govt. is paying so many officers for these purpose and it is their duty to cheat public on behalf...

I am in BB BSNL 750 + scheme unlimited but the file tranfer rate is very less 26 kbps, kindly make me clarify to increase the tranfering speed.

I am using BSNL 750 + scheme unlimited from last one and half month, for me transfer rate 27 kbps. When I logged a complaint with customer care, after 2 days I have received a call from bsnl and they enquired about the issue and the answer what I got from them is "It is a normall issue what everyone is facing we look into the that".
Plz helpme out in incresing the speed or i should change the plan.

    i am living in phillaur disst. jalandhar (punjab), india. i have taken bsnl lind no.my no is [protected] my no had activated on 09 may ang my broad band had activated on 19 may, but company has charged to me full month broad band rent 750. first (sdo) had not told me u had to pay daily base rent broad band rent, and when bill had come and i had gone to (sdo) he told me he cant doi want to ask ur company what doing your management, please give me repl be quick.i am going to consumer court for this purpes

    Three years when i first used BSNL broadband for two months usage i got a bill of 60, 000 rupees. They told me that i have uploaded 16 GB while I have not uploaded more than 4 GB. I have payed some 60% of the bill amount because it is waste to fight with the government and you cannot win the case.

    You can apply for ADALAT if you want like me.

      I had applied for a new telephone connection on 11th June 2008 (in R.T.Nagar, NEW BEL Road) & i was told that the connection will come in just 2 weeks time. Today it is almost close to 4 weeks time & we have not got the telephone line. Everytime i call up the Customer Care they give me some new number to followup. Everybody just pass on to a new contact. i was given even the line man's number to check but all efforts is wasted. Can anybody help me sorting this problem?

      BSNL — Delay in New Telephone Connection

      I had applied for a new telephone connection on 10th April 2008 (in Anandnagar) & i was told that the connection will come in just 2 weeks time. Today it is almost close to 3 months time & we have not got the telephone line. Everytime i call up the Customer Care they give me some new number to followup. Everybody just pass on to a new contact. i was given even the line man's number to check but all efforts is wasted. Can anybody help me sorting this problem? I want to cancel my application for the telephone, please let em know how to do that?
      Bsnl is the worst telecom company in india.A new connection can take several years and even a compaint can take months to resolve

      BSNL — delay of application

      i have provided application for broadband request for limited to unlimited plan , on 31.10.2011 and they told that in 2 days it will active but it is not active and they provided wrong user id also , my broad band is still in limited plan and usage also finished when we try to contact there is no response ,

      I've applied for new BSNL connection on 16/05/2013 and till date no one from BSNL has even made contact with me. I visited the local telephone exchange ( Noonmati Telephone Exchange, Guwahati, Assam) twice and the first time I met with the JTO and he assured me he will send someone asap to install the telephone but after a week passed by and without any connection I went to the telephone exchange again and this time met with the SDO and he jotted down my address and contact no. and told me he'll send someone within two days, its has been a week since my last visit with SDO and no one has even turned up at my door or even made a phone call. I need the telephone connection urgently as i'm starting a new business and need access to the internet.
      Please ponder over this and give a good resolution to the matter.

        i am not able to check broadband usage details on bsnl..is this website is correct [protected]@bsnl.in
        BSNL portal for usage details not opening. With limited account, it becomes difficult to control the usage. Consumers are at a loss on both counts. Because usage details cannot be seen, they may underuse or overuse. If they underuse, they do not get full value of their money. If they overuse, they are charged heavily. Such a tactic is unethical on the part of BSNL.
        my internet connection very slow in downloading speed just 12kbps to 76kbps.
        main problem for i am any time cannot able to my usage details

        my Usage Detail Portal is not opening...
        I want my user name and password given by bsnl.The same has been forgotten.

          I got a message from BSNL/Jharkhand that "New tariff Vouchers introduced LOCAL/STD calls free on BSNL N/W with Rs. 549 and LOCAL Calls free on BSNL N/W with Rs. 298 Available through CTOPUP" on 07.070.08. I approch to one shopkeeper to recharged the same. After several efforts by the shopkeeper my number could not be chareged and he advise me u contact with BSNL Customer care, so I contacted to BSNL Customer case over this no. [protected]. He replied u try after some time it will do.
          After my several effort but it did not rechage my mobile no. [protected] with this new tariff.
          On 08.07.08, I again contacted with BSNL Customer care at 10.05 hrs, Some Customer executive Mr. Abhishek received my call. I asked him why this tariff is not working in my no. [protected] then he begain to start misbehave with me and told there is no solution of your sim no. so u dont call again in customer care for this purpose.

          Therefore, I approch to your kind honour kindly look into the matter and take necessary action against the Customer executive and let me know taken action.

          my complaint is related to ur respected customer care who today misbehaved with me and have not responded to me .
          i called to customer care for abt 12 times to ask PUK code for my mobile and nobody gave me my PUK code and also said that they cant do anything in this respect .

          suggest me the way to deactivate this offer bcz, this software in my mobile is corrupted, so i am not able use this package, and simply there is deduction from my balence for this offer.

          on 25/01/09 i assigned a complain again as my mob num.[protected] got registered failed suddenly i was told complain # A[protected] by mr. shashi parkash at 05:44pm and advice to wait for 24 hrs to day i called up after waiting given time i called again on 26/01/09 at 05:40pm c care mr .rajan gupta picked my call and nt able to assist me and transfer my call to his senior CSA to mr Karan he was nt professional on call he was just trying to ignore me and told me ur complain, mob numb is wrong.and refuse to help me out and he was disconnect my call, again i try to called up this i find mr nishchal who told me there is no any complain registered for same and he transfered my call to his supervisor to mr.Sandeep kumar he was also refuse to help me out, also informed there is so such complain was assigned and nt ready to give me the e-mail of customer complain unit again my call was disconnected from his side

          I have Bought a Topup recharge card for RS.225/- from BSNL Franchisee located near Ayodhya Mandapam in West Mambalam on 28th Feb'2009. When I tried the nos. given for recharging my cell it says it is not possible. When I enquired about it the person in the franchisee told me that he has instructed the Girl in the showroom not to issue RS.225/- card and issue only Rs.220/- Card as value has been changed, but the bloody idiotic Girl/Lady in the show room has issued the Rs.225 Card. He added that since BSNl is updating the software it will get charged on 1st march 2009, but in vain even after several attempts.

          It is very clear that Most of the Cheats are bloody Girls/Ladies.

          The bloody thing is that they do not even give a receipt for that. One has to very careful with BSNL.

          Please don't mind on what I am Complaining. This is really to much the way BSNL mobile service is providing to the costumers. I am using BSNL mobile since its start mobile service at Aizawl. But this is too much the way which disconnect my mobile without my knowledge. Its ok I am late for one week on giving bill. But what is Rs 2000 credit means which is written on the bill. Is it a joke making to costumer or real? My bill is only Rs 540 but credit limit given is Rs2000. Then, why the BSNL is disconnecting my mobile without giving further information? I am running a small business, mostly require mobile. This is quite enough. Please don't behave like this on future to the costumer. If you don't like me to use BSNL mobile, Its ok, I don't mind, Many other Service providers are also available in Aizawl. Really, not happy this time. Please take necessary action on this matter.

                i want to know whether BSNL keep track of web sites i visited erlier?

                it is against privacy policy na...
                bsnl dataone service [censored] you .
                they have all time server down problem .
                they unable to provide the satisfactory service.
                i, m using my 750 unlimited plan .i got my connection in23 days .but i got internet service only 3 days .
                i[censored] think to get a dataone connection .
                please try airtel broadband unlimited.
                dataone...so never try dataone .i[censored] think abt this .so plz try at yr own satisfaction. and trust me u never got the satisfaction.

                    i have a telephone (bsnl landline) no.[protected]. i got a broadband connection more than 2 months back. right from the first day the broadband is not working.either it does not get connected or even if it gets connected, it is very slow and gets disconnected within 10 minutes. however hard you may try you do not get reconnected. net one gets connected and works though at aslow speed. i have got the modem checked, the computer checked & formated but of no use. i have complained to local bsnl office only resulting disconnection of phone connection. i have complained to bsnl bhopal twice but without results.i do not know whether somebody will listen to me and do something.

                      I got a BSNL Data one connection with Home 500 plan.
                      When i checked my usage on the 3rd of july, it shows that i exceeded the 1.5 GB limit, where as I was using only during the night frre time.
                      The download shows when my modem was actually switched off, that during my office time.
                      Either some one in BSNL is using my account or billing is fraud. Please rectify this issue.

                            My BSNL PCO Phone :[protected] is dead since from[protected] and the complaint has been logged with the firm on[protected] and the docket No:3. The complaint is not attended till today. The frequent follow ups with concerned Divisional Enginner do not fruitful and most ofthe times no one is available to attend when i tried to contact Area manager and General Manager. Totally I feel it is negligience & attitude problem towards customer satisfaction, beacause to attend the complaint it should not take more than a week in worst condition. Due to this reason I have cancelled 2bsnl pco lines & alternative I have a
                            Reliance ISD PCO I suppose to have a 4bsnl line due to this reason
                            I have to surrender the 2bsnl line at present I have 2bsnl PCO and
                            1reliance PCO.
                            I hope atleast now the authorised people will awake from their deep sleep and satisfy the customers like me who are facing one or the onother problem with regard to servive in this telecommunication line.

                              I am not able to connect to the net from the next day of connection.. I reported/complained to bsnl authority a number of times. But they are not even reponding. As I got connection for education purpose it is too difficult for me to study. The FIRST COMPLAINT I REPORTED WAS A MONTH AGO, STILL NO ACTION.

                                Broad band is slow.
                                It stalls every now and then between 10.30 AM and 3:30 PM every day
                                ADSL link light goes off every evening arround 5:00Pm(17:00) till next day morning.

                                but otherwise BSNL Broadband is a Heven and not SEVEN but now it is so.

                                  I was out of station from 02.06.2008 to 20.06.2008 to Eastern UP. Before going there balance of my mobile no. [protected] was approx. + Rs. 4000/- During this period I called rarely 2 to 4 calls and receive max.10 calls. After returned from there on 20.06.2008 when i checked my balance it was approx. Rs. 2500/-. I shocked due to this and immediately cotacted to customer care, but they told me that you deduction of balance is right. But they are not giving me details. They have filed complaint in this regard also. I was in touch wid them for 7 to 10 days. But finally the officer shown their inability to resolve my problem.

                                  Sir, I therefore request you to kindly look into the matter and check my calles during 02.06.2008 to 20.06.2008 and do the needful please.

More than a week has passed away but my phone connection is still out of order.

                                      Here I must mention that my father is very old, and is a Heart Patient. I am my self employed in a Private Company is Patna itself. I have to remain out of my house from 9 A.M. to 8 P.M. every day. Except my mother & my wife there is no male member in my family who could take care of my ailing father in the event of an emergency.
