Getting plenty o[censored]nwanted promotional SMSs from India Today Book Club, however i have submitted unsubscribtion. How to stop this. I have already registered with do -not-call but still it continues.
Dont contact customer care of BSNL. they are giving really annoying replies.
I took a post paid connection from reliance, I am getting promotional sms entire day, I called up to cust. care to stop sending SMSs, they replied they can not stop it and you have to be bother for at least 45 days.

BSNL — unwanted promotional calls

despite registering with TRAI for "Do not disturb" service I am still getting unsolicited calls on my mobile no.[protected] from BSNL. Pl help.

unnecessary calls and bothering promotional sms are distracting at working hour,these type o[censored]nwanted service by BSNL is not acceptable.

    the site www.bbservice.bsnl.in never opens. It opens only after a 20 days and i am not able to check the usage . this is a big problem for me
    I want to see my usage by checking the portal "http://bbservice.bsnl.in", but it is not at all opening and this problem is not first time.

    I am very much fedup... please improve your service.
    i was appiled for BSNL bradband connection now 20 days completed stil bradband connection not given
    I got connection (HOME 500 C) in July 01, 2008. But they didnt give us Portal ID and Password. They give us at 28th of July. And I saw chargeable used space is 8.7 GB.
    There is only one word for them THIEF. BSNL Broadband is THIEF. Now they will charge for 7-8000 Rs for used extra space. But everybody knows that for this prise I can get unlimited net for 3 months IN buiziness. And they dont have any plan like if you use more than this space then you can not be charged (like an upper limit). AGAR MEIN STUDENT NAHI HOTA TO BSNL PE CASE THOD DETA ...

      We have received bill dated[protected] for the month of june in which amount of rupees 1587 shown as bbusage which is too much excess . I have examine bbusage on net.It was found that on 29th and 30th june most o[censored]sage occured. I would like to inform you that I have used bb service not more than 1 GB. because I always run with bandwidth meter when I am using net.
      So, please revise my bill and credit rupees 1587 which is excess charged by you. You can also check my previous month usage. You will find that I have never used net more than 1 GB. my phone no. is [protected]

      Occassionaly this problem arises. It is most irritable that the site could not be accessed most of the time, and the usage could not be viewed. Please do something so that consumer gets proper and uninterrupt service.

      I have the same problem. Dont use any broadband plan that has usage limit.
      Better choose or go for UNLIMITED PLAN !!! even at 256 kbps, its better.
      Be careful, bsnl said that switching to another plan is free of cost. If somebody asks money only for changing the plan, its unfair because the advertisement said it's free. After that, carefull check your monthly bill. Warn them you will cancel the connection if they charge a huge bill by "mistake".

      I am unable to access bbservice.bsnl.in & thus unable to check broadband usage which is imp as they have posted very heavy bill.
      I am using broadband connection. Past two days the net is not connecting and the error is 797. And I contacted your technical assitant (phone no. is[protected] He asked me to check the all the ports and repress it . Immediately it was connecting but after shutdown the system the same error (797)it is ginving. And today suddenly link was failed whole the day while using net.

      Hallo frendz,
      There is a problem with www.bbservice.bsnl.in .Problem starts on 112009 .
      The probles is, i am opened the portal with my user id and password.and click on the usage details tab.
      On the SELECT MONTH list there are no months listed.
      This is my problem.The list box only contain the word "Select month".
      And in other site, when tried to access my usage details, there is a ERROR MESSAGE only.
      What i do ?

        I have data one Broad Band Connection with night 2.00 am to morning 8.00 am free
        it shows in my usage that i have used about 150 three in limited usage timeperiod
        but clearly the time is like 1:57 to 2:27 150...Mb
        1:59 to 2:20 170..Mb
        they are robbing us .
        so either give them a wack or be carefull
        is that the same what i had the bill 90mb when i used 1 minute beyond free period time i had used 6.13-8.01.my advice is that to power off the modem at 7.50 itself and use the free time and usage seperately so that they could not claim free hours

          my landline number is[protected], i have taken homeplan 250 of bsnl broadband.my broadband is not working since last five days.i am facing so many problems due to it in my business as well as my further studies.
          kindly co-operate me for solving the problem as eaarly as possible.
          My land line number is[protected].I have taken 750 unlimited home plan. From 1 month I am not able to connect my internet. It is giving Error 678. I have complaint about it to 1957, 1500 and at my nearest bsnl brodband exchange but till now action was not taken, because of it I am suffering from many problems.

            1.I am Rahul Sharma Tel No.[protected], Dundigal, Hyderabad.
            2.The portal for lodging Broadband complaints says it cannot connect to database.The other portals are for landline complaints.
            3.Complaint - Broadband is getting connected but webpage is not opening - some LAN TCP/IP settings wrong - complaint no.00069 dated 25 Jun 08 refers.Kindly expedite.
            4.Your helplines are not very helpful i.e. 23233311, 23231345, 23234770 do not attend the phone..sometimes it is engaged ..other times no one picks up..these are also not 24 hours lines.Other [protected] can not provide satisfactory online help, it can only lodge a complaint, 12678 disconnects you after saying .. pl. hold all operators are busy!!
            5.Kindly improve the setup.

            i was a bb user under plan 250 and changed to home ul 500 plan from december 2008. An application for the same was given on the 15th of december and i was told that the new plan will come into effect from january 2009, but while surfing the official data one website on the 29th of december 2008 i saw that the plan had already been changed to home ul 500. On seeing this i started downloading and now the bill for january 2009 has come showing an amount of Rs 8502 to be paid by 29/01/2009. Please clarify the details. [Specially the bb usage charge of Rs 7100.10 which seems to be appaling]. Kindly give an immediate clarification/details of the complaint lodged.

              Sir, Pls note thate we have requested for Tariff plane for monthly charges Rs 900/ and we have received bill for another plane.The BSNL person for booking has also misguided us.His phone no is -[protected].He never informed us re modem charges he said that every thing is free only we have to pay for our requested plane.When we received the bill we immidiatelly called him up, he said we'll discunnet the cunnection but as on date things are going.Pls to check our requested form and provide us the requested connection and rais the mentioned bill again.

                Initially after putting a lot of effort somehow I could be able to get Broadband connection, it all about 8-9 months passed but I never enjoyed the connection even a single day, the situation is as horrible that you can’t relay that you will be able to work smoothly even for a Hrs., My company provides me facility to work from home and for that purpose I took the Broadband connection but I have not a single day working from home, though I am properly paying my rental charge for broadband connection. While approaching the local exchange they have their own problems, some time network outage and power failure, The local exchange officer behavior is very bad, I am fed up with this service.

                  I have been trying to call [protected] for the past week, but I get the message that the number is not valid. But I can receive phones from that number. I filed a complaint with the 24365 helpline number, they said that it will be resolved in 48 hours, but the complaint is still not resolved.The docket number for the complaint I filed is 1600218.

                  Please resolve the complaint immediately. If two BSNL subscribers can not talk to each other then it is a very bad reflection on the BSNL service.

                    my landline no. is 27502155.bsnl refused to give me a landline and i was directed to a franchaisee, swami smarth . this concern is having DID, a technical term. they have a PBX like thing and all the residents of the society are given landline connection . when i wanted a braodband, i was directed to BSNL. i got the broadband. which works sometime.many of the days, the landline is not working. 10 days back, the landline was not working, but broadband was working. after protracted follow-up, the landline started working, but broadband failed.the franchisee expresses their inability to solve the problem. they are expecting mr.kudal from chinchwad exchange. i met mr.jadhav at chinchwad exchange. he also promised to rectify things. the present status is broadband is not working for the last ten days.landline too failed today.

                      My land line no. is[protected] which has been out of order for the last three months. It falls under telephone exchange Chiryai, Udhampur. On contacting with the official, he told me that Batteries have been shifted to some other place and hence phone will work only when there is light, but even then the phone didn, t work, on asking about the reason it was told that card has been shifted to some other place and without card exchane can not work.It is very sorry to say that we have availed the connections so that we may get Broad band service of the company, but it seems that company wants to descourage its customers so that due to continuse disappointment they may discontinue their connections. It is pertinent to mention that this exchange feeds three main areas, Chiryai, Sundrani, Dhanoo and Mutal, but callousness on the part of company towards the innocent villagers, led them to discontinue their connection.It is requested to kindly see into the matter and activate our connections please.

                        hallo,
                        I have applied for BSNL BB on May 20, 2008. On 3rd June I got modem but not username and password to configure the BB. They said I shall get it within 1 week. But it is 1 month not getting the username and password, therefore cant use the BB. When I contacted the regional office, they said me they sent all the details to Bangalore as it will be done from Bangalore and cant do anything or just tell me that how much time it will take. I am in total dark now.

                        My user id is gsr2780838. Yesterday I have given written appliaction for reset of password at Bird Circle, baroda vide sr no. 43 dated 12.05.09. I have not recd any password till morning.

                        I called up at customer care. He bluntly cut the phone saying pl call up after 11.00 am.

                        This is the response from customer care.

                        There is no communication method thru which I can get password.My Mobile number is [protected].

                        Really do not understand why I have chosen BSNL.

                          this is rajapaaaantula eswara prasada rao, working as a govt teacher.., i appiled for bsnl broad band unlimited 750 plan connection in month of february and got connection from the date[protected]..documents submitted for the 20% discount plan on 21st february..but till now i am not getting any type of discount and concerned officials are not responding in a proper way..even though i submitted all concerned documents..please look into this matter and made me to get justice..

                            I had applied for BSNL dataone connection (HOME-250 PLAN) sometime in March 2007-June 2007. In February or so, someone from BSNL came & gave me the broadband connection. But it was not working properly. I had complained on the same to my Area manager. No action was taken. It was working On/Off. Works sometimes and not sometimes. Also I had asked for the portal usage id to check my usage which was not given as well. And finally i got one sometime in June.

                            Then I got a bill on June 20th for the whole Feb-May 2008 for 16, 165+. When i checked the usage it shows usage of 4 GB - 5 GB every month. But I never used that much. My Usage was always limited to browsing. When i checked the usage in detail, i see heavy usage after 10 PM to sometime around 12 AM and sometimes even upto 4 AM. But I used Broadband after 10 PM quite rarely. I have no idea why so much o[censored]sage was shown after 10 PM. Also I used to use broadband mostly during day time on weekends.

                            So please check my complaint & let me know how to proceed with this.

                            My telephone no. is[protected] booked in the name of "Basharat Ali Khan". i have taken the broadband connection on 8-1-2008. The plan was home500 with unlimited usage from 02.00hrs to 08.00hrs. The free usage is 2560 MB per month. I have changed my plan in the month of JULY to home 250. But the bill of June month has not deducted the night usage for the days of[protected], [protected] and[protected].
                            So my request is to deduct the charges in the next bill. My usage is billed to
                            4580792 KB whereas after deducting the night usage for above mentioned days the total usage is 2891288 KB. i have been charged for extra 1913 MB which constitute to Rs.1720 including service charges. i have paid the bill and given the complaint at the telephone exchange on[protected]. But till now the complaint has not forwarded to the concerned department. So my request is to see to it as soon as possible and provide us a beter service.

                              I've a BSNL landline connection in Kolkata. My parents in India use this line. Recently I wanted to enroll myself for online bill payment option of BSNL as currently I'm staying in UK. Howerver I was astonished to know that the online enrollment form doesn't have West Bengal as service circle in it's drop down menu. They have two entries for south east India but none of them contain any region of West Bengal. It's really surprising that inspite of being the larest telecom operator of India BSNL portal ignores a region where it has millions of subscribers. How should I pay my monthly bill as my parents at Kolkata are quite aged?

                              Recently I have taken a BSNL broadband connection in Kolkata. In the first bill the call details has not mentioned. So I thought to enroll for on line details. When I put all the details and click ok the the system says that the Customer ID is not available. The same customer ID I have taken from my first telephone bill. I have tried 4 times but same result.

                              Kindly guide me how to enroll for on line billing information.

                              the website billchn.bsn.co.in, after keying my credit card details the screen got hung for almost 5 minutes, I had to close the screen and attempt it again. In my second attempt,
                              the payment was successful for the sum of Rs.1033/= and received a confirmation as well in the screen towards my payment.

                              Now when I check my credit card statement after 5 days, besides my successful payment for Rs.1033/ I see the first (failed) transaction also billed to my credit card for the sum of Rs.1033/.
                              Could you please reverse the first failed transaction and credit Rs.1033/ back to my credit card.

Even Total Amount Rs. 1749.00 alreday debited from my Bank Account and i got confirmation letter from the Bank, Regarding Successfull Payment. So what i do in this position?                               I would like inform that I have a BSNL landline connection at Thodupuzha, (Ernakulam SSA), Kerala. My mother in Kerala uses this BSNL land line. I have been trying for long time to enroll myself for online bill payment option of BSNL as currently I'm staying and working in the United Arab Emirates. Apparently all my efforts to enroll my BSNL land line have been gone in vain. I was surprised to know that the online enrollment form doesn't have Kerala state as service circle in it's drop down menu. It's really surprising that in spite of being the substantial telecom operator of India BSNL portal ignores Kerala whereby it has millions of subscribers.                               BSNL — Excess recovery : online billing

                              an amount of Rs. 271 debited twice to my PNB savings accounts against mobile No. [protected] A/c No.[protected] for the period 19/1 to 18/2/2010. Please rectify and arrange refund.
                              The BSNL authorities are habituated in spending their days with the idea of 50 years ago. They are not at all bothered about the facilities that others are providing to their customers. They used to come office at their own time and like to pay the majority time in having tiffin, going home in office hours. So please don't expect anything new from BSNL.
                              "I went to pay bill online.. their online portal is a piece of . they allow hdfc and uti bank customers only... see this is real piece of . i could design a better site than their current " added services"...I fully agree with Karthy who posted it earlier.

                              Organisation like BSNL should not have paid the software company who designed such a . Paymeny portal should always be loud and simple.

                              Does BSNL really care for easy payment service? They enjoy seeing people standing in lines for hours to make payment.

                              I made online payment for the month of JUN’2010 on 16/06/2010, using my SBI atm cum debit card for an outstanding amount of Rs.201. attempted the online payment using the website billchn.bsn.co.in, after payment the screen got hung for almost 5 minutes, I had to close the screen and attempt it again. In my second attempt, the payment was successful for the sum of Rs.201/= and received a confirmation as well in the screen towards my payment.

                              Now I receive the message from SBI for same payment twice and a total amount of Rs. 402 got debited from my a/c.Could you please reverse the first failed transaction and credit Rs.201 back to my SBI a/c.
                              The worst after-sales service that i found is of BSNL. I got my EVDO disconnected without getting any bill. I tried to call customer care and told me that we do not have such a software that could tell you about your bill. I visited exchange office and they told me that there is no information about your device.

                              I was begging to submit my bill and there was no one who could have listen to me :)

                              I think BSNL should be sold to some private comapny so that, at lease customer can get after-sales serive on a call. We pay money not for device but for services after purhasin device.

                              All BSNL services should be free of cost as all empolyess are doing nothing even after taking good salary. So save salary, save money of Gov.

                              Dear Sirs,

                              I have tried accessing the online billing facility provided by BSNL so as to make payment of my monthly telephone bill but though the site takes me to the payment section, it fails to open up when I click on the amount(s) I wish to pay. I have reported this to BSNL several times but bo action has been taken to update their page or correct this malfunction. I travel extensively around the wrold and largely depend on this feature to make payment of my bills when they fall due each month from overseas which, at the moment cannot be done because of BSNL's failure to remedy this situation which has been going on for almost three months and more.

                              My complaint is about BSNL landline - your customer for over 20 years. This is not about online payment or mobile, it is about receiving my telephone bill on time. Everytime, I have to check with the one or two bsnl landline subscriber whether the bill has arrived. When I do go to one of your BSNL outlets, they instruct me to go to your Head Office which is too far from my residence, or workpalce. If I do not go to make the payment on time, the connection is promptly cut off - is it the customer fault? A customer who has patronised you inspite of stiff competition? I can now understand why many have discontinued your service, purely due to the pathetic, disinterest shown by your customer service, and gone in for competition.

                                  I got the Missed Call on my Mobile from my home landline which was not made from the connection at home.The number displayed on my mobile showed the number of my house landline.
                                  We enquired in the BSNL office thet too agreed that there was no call made through out the day from our landline, but I dont know how come that My cell number of vodafone showed my house number.
                                  Kindly help me as I think then BSNL is the most unsecured security provider for telecom service.

                                      Delivery of monthly Telephone bills is being in-ordinately delayed over 3 weeks.
                                      In my case, the bill date is 8th of each month, but the same is delivered to me on 20th or 21st of the month, and I am required to clear the bill by 26th of the same month. This has been going on for the past several months.
                                      Earlier, the bill was delivered within one week of the bill date.
                                      Kindly, look into this BILL DELIVERY aspect.

                                      I used to get bills for the following numbers every month with out any problem till last jauary09. But i am not receiving last two month bills for only 28553504 bill. Other bills are i am getting.I spoke to A/O officer my problem not solved.

                                      I had not recived the bill for my broadband connection...for the last 4 months..
                                      from when i got connection..even though ive fowarded my complaints to the cstmr. care
                                      no action has been taken. So please take action for delivering the bill...

                                      BSNL Telephone Bill — NON RECEIPT OF BILLS

                                      I have made several complaints to the CHIEF ACCOUNT OFFICER TRIMULGHERRY EXCHANGE and to BSNL authorities that I am not getting my telephone no 27795005 regularly and since OCT 2009 I have not received any bill.There is credit balance in my account and details are not known.Kindly fwd the bills at the earliest

                                      I alongwith my family were in a hospital for the last one week. There was nobody in the house. My neighbour said that the telephone bill has come. But we did not get our copy.

                                        BSNL — Cross-connection from last one year

                                        i am using the services of BSNL from last three years. my phone no is[protected]. last year, BSNL persons dig some whole near our telephone line. due to which, we are suffering from cross-connection. therefore, all privacy is distubed.
                                        we had made many complaints to modinagar exchange. but everytime, the problem is not solved. we are still suffering from this problem very much. p-lease take some strict action, otherwise discontinuation will be the better option.

                                        i am form hyderabad and my tel number is 23234714 why the net is comeing in the day but not working in the night what is problem for the useers please solve this problem other wise next month i want to cut this suplly.
