Hi BIG BAZAAR shoppers

Please check your bills when you shop from BIG BAZAAR MALAD WEST outlet ( opp malad west station)

The outlet overcharges you on many items sometimes more than Rs 10-15 per item.

I shopped last evening and on checking the bill against the actual products i found 6 items where the price was higher than the actual price of the product. They extra charge ca range from Rs 5 to Rs 20 per product on my bill.

When you approach customer service they willing return the extra money charged without checking the product . This made me realise that they too must be aware of the extra money charged.

Please be careful . check your bills and dont be robbed of your hard earned money.

If they overcharge you by 25 per person imagine the amount of profit they make each day with thousands shopping at the outlet each day.

    Dear Sir,

    I have ordered online to buy a pendrive from Future Bazaar.com on 26/01/2012 vide their order no. [protected]. They have sent the ordered item through Blue Dart vide Waybill no. [protected]. After approx. 20-25 days, when i contacted M/s Blue Dart for delivery, they replied that Item was returned to Future Bazaar because my address was not mentioned on the parcel. Again, when i tried to contact Future Bazaar over Phone, phone was just ringing. after a whooping 6 hrs. trial, i got connected to them over phone to listen that their system is not working! after that, i tried again and again but no body was there to pick up the phone. at last, i made written complain via email, which they replied that item has been delivered! actually item was returned to them only, which they thought is delivered to me! again i emailed them showing their mistake, but now they stopped replying at all.

    Shall i go for Consumer court for justice and compensation? How does our government permit such big thugs? If they can not provide services to customers, what is their right to conduct such business? I need a concrete solution for this, because so many people losing their money in claws of these kind of business entities. they should be penalised heavily by competent authority.

    I hope, this forum will bring justice to me and others who are being misled by Future Bazaar.

    Future Bazaar — Credit card illegally used

    Dear Sir,

    Some one has used my Credit card on 14/10/10 to buy mobile phone online from Future Bazaar.com.When i received intimation by sms from citibank .I immediately called CitiBank and blocked my card.I soon cabe to know that the person was trying to make some more transaction ,But those failed as i already blocked by card.I lost 6600 rs.I immediately called Futurebazar to stop shipment and take immediate action.I spoke to one of there senior manager Mr.Deepak pujari and explain him every thing ,he assured me that shipment will take some time and assured me that shipment is blocked and the money will be credited to me back soon.after a week i was told the the delivery was already done.I use to call them daily and send them email,every time they use to give false assureance over phone.I registered complain with police.Police reverted back saying they cannot locate that person at that place.I am help less now.Pls help on this.

    Future Bazaar. Com — Illegal use of my debit card

    Just to add to my earlier complaint about the same subject, the transaction detals on my debit card number [protected] are as follows:

    The imposter would have probably done more transactions if my balance had not come down to a mere Rs.100/- after all this.

    I also happened to browse your site for other complaints against future bazaar and noticed that there were at least 3 other complaints of a similar nature against this company between 20-22 October 2010.

    Someone is a smooth operator and stealing public money and the company really needs to do something about this and return public money or give details of the criminal to the police or bank-Please sir, help me get my money back-this entire thing is causing a lot of stress and distress.

      The Big Bazaar Exchange offer is a fraud/scam. They did not provide the details of exchange in terms and conditions before the transaction. Nor did they write about their rule anywhere in T & C. " i get only BB coupons instead of cash which has 1/10th value of a rupee. This was NOT INFORMED earlier in any form. I sold 25kgs newspaper and clothes which could have been of some use for a poor which BB took by fraud. Help...

      On 3/04/14 I went to Big Bazaar and bought some stuff. I had paid my bill of rs933. Today I found that 1510 points were redeem from my payback card without my authorisation. I went to Esplanade Big Bazar but the person in the help desk was of no help.
      I am sending you the bill number that I purchased on 03/05/14 Till No. 3 Cash Memo no. 0055104 tr:44668. I am also sending you another bill number along Till No. 2 Cash Memo No. 0009107 Tr:37527 purchased on 04/05/14. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

        This website has such a fake commitment .. As already mentioned that above 500 rs no courier charge ,My order values Rs 1250, But still While delivering the courier man has charged Rs 200 for delivery.

            I had ordered a chair from Home Town outlet in Thakur Mall, Mira Road. While taking payment they took 100% payment but it has been two weeks that they have not been able to deliver one single chair. Whenever I call them they give some stupid reason and keep saying that it will take 3-4 more days. I got a call yesterday from them saying that it will be delivered today by 2 pm. And there is still no sign of the same. When I called the outlet the guy on the phone had no clue whatsoever. Later I received a call saying that the 'senior' person there says it will take 3-4 days more. Are we mad? Or supposed to waste all our time everyday just following up with these ? Where is your professionalism Home Town? This is pure harassment.

              Dear Team,

              I had ordered a 32" Akai LED TV on 19th Feb 2011 on www.futurebazaar.com and get a payment confirmation mail also but till date (2nd March 2011) have not received the product thought they claim 7 days delivery guarantee period also.

              I have been following up with the support team and getting no proper response and every-time i get different excuse on 25th i got a response that product has been arranged and being delivered after this having so many follow ups still status is same that we are not able to arrange this product yet and trying for this but no time lines has been committed.

              Now can somebody help me to raise this to the senior most of the organization so that i can get some commitment.

              I have placed an order no[protected] on 28th Jan 2012 but have not received it yet. The status shown online is always ready to ship.
              I have also paid the amount through netbanking in advance.Inspite of their committed delivery time of 4- 5 days the item ordered has not even been shipped. So one could expect the kind of service that this vendor provides.I will have to think a lot before i make a repurchase from this online store.
              The customer support team is always busy and we have to wait for hours to talk to them.By chance after several attempts i manage to speak with one of them on 1st Feb 2012 and they said that it will be shipped by the same evening.But today also the same status.

              Not at all happy with their service.

                My payback card no is [protected]. I had gone along with my wife
                to Big Bazaar to purchase some house hold stuff at around 0830pm on 03
                Ma 2012. The address of the store is :

                Fun-N-Shop Building, Fatima Nagar, Solapur Road, Pune Fatima Nagar,
                Solapur Road, Pune.

                At customer Service desk I asked about Payback redemption points. CSD
                in charge Mr Vinayak Deshpande was too busy on his mobile to reply and
                kept moving, even when I tried to stop him. After 10 mins I got a
                reply from him about the scheme. Then after selecting the items, I
                came back for redemption value of rs 1000/- and requested him for
                Coupons. I was handed over the coupons by another employee after 10
                mins of waiting, as this vinayak was still busy on his mobile. When I
                finally reached billing desk, I was told that the coupons were
                invalid. So I enquired about the same with mr Vinayak. He said the
                coupons couldn’t be redeemed the same day. I said that he never
                mentioned this while i was redeeming, he replied i never asked. I
                asked where it was written in terms and conditions, to which he
                started shouting on me PUBLICALLY. I asked for the no of his
                superiors, reply was “call customer care, if you want something. I am
                not here for you. there is no one superior to me here, do whatever you
                want to do” and then he suddenly came up with “why did you abuse me”,
                Not to get more humiliated by your staff, in your store PUBLICALLY I
                told him “I did not abuse you still if you felt that I abused, I am
                sorry” Now he came out of the counter to hit me saying “if you didn’t
                abuse me, why are u sorry”. Some other employees came with him and when
                I tried to make my way through, he said “we have 250 staff here, you
                and your wife will not even be found out of this store” (DO YOU GUYS
                HAVE “THIS” BEST AS BIG BAZAAR CSD, TALKING TO A CUSTOMER AND HIS WIFE LIKE
                THIS).
                Someone else came in (must be the store/floor manager) and said we
                would do the needful, pl be patient. I again requested him that if I
                had come today to buy some stuff why should I come back to redeem next
                time, especially if the points have been deducted from my account. In
                mean while Mr vinayak again came close in a position to hit me and
                again shouted on top of his voice showing aggressive posture (pointing
                punches and fingers) “Ye Coupon ab kabhi redeem nahi honge….Ukhaar lo
                kya ukhaar loge” (These coupons will never be redeemed, DO whatever
                you can, in a language not to be used with customers, specially not in
                front of ladies!!). I requested this floor manager to take mr vinayak
                away, to which he showed his inability saying he was best that is why
                he was in CSD. I was encircled by lot many people and big bazaar staff were
                shouting on me from all directions commenting in filthy,
                unparliamentary language. Then few customers stepped in to help me
                and got me out of big bazaar staff. I left my stuff there and told them I
                would lodge a formal complaint against them.

                My Complaints:

                1. If the points cannot be redeemed on same day, why isn’t this thing
                mentioned anywhere or why doesn’t CSD staff tell it to customers?
                2. Why weren't my coupons stamped with store name and location and
                date of issue, with a signature of CSD, if the columns are meant
                for these things??
                3. Who gives big bazaar and payback staff right to insult me, abuse me, try to hit me,
                threaten me to my life, if I ask them about their superiors?
                4. Isn’t CSD staff supposed to be available to customer then to be
                glued to his mobile?
                5. I want strict action against Mr vinayak, as he abused us publically
                and threatened us to our lives. And then with support of big bazaar and payback staff he
                made it look like I was the one to abuse him.

                6. I want an action against big bazaar and payback staff persons who supported mr
                vinayak, when he tried to hit me and abused me.

                Please don’t ask me for bills, as I did not purchase anything there,
                however the coupon no are: [protected], [protected],
                [protected], and [protected]. I seriously doubt if you would
                find my coupons in systems, as Mr vinayak threatened that these

                Even I have experienced problems with the 3 Big Bazaar coupons. The staff at Kandivilli refused to accept it on the pretext that the validity was faint and beyond recognition during the validity period. When I told the staff that the they would expire in a few days, he told that they can be renewed and extended by writing to the staff at Future bazaar.
                I have emailed to them the details of the coupon number and have been in the waiting for the update of the same. Till date nothing has happened.

                  BIG BAZAR offering Exchange coupon once we give them any old item.The skim is up to 30th April 2012.on exchange coupon they offer 25% discount except food product,on which they offered 10% discount. Accordingly they display their sale price on label at product display.

                  After verifying price customer approach cash counter for billing & payment,You will came to know the discount they offered is neither 25% not 10%.
                  very tactfully they make the fool their customer,I feel this is the only business they do with their customer.

                  For example I plan to purchase ''Miltida'' make Thermos MRP Rs.249/-, Their discount price was Rs.199/-,Exchange price with returning exchange coupon Rs.149/-(which was display on product label)

                  At cash counter their billing software system is design in such a way that you have to pay more than price display on product sale place.
                  Big Bazer price for Thermos was Rs.199/-.They offered 25% discount,which is Rs.49.75/-,Their software system accept only round of coupon nearest amount on lower side.Instead of discount Rs.49.75/-,they ask only Rs 40/- exchange coupon & Rs9.75/-for which they make round fig Rs.10/-which they charge from me.So insted of Rs149/-sale price on sale label,they charge Rs159/-from me.
                  So actual discount is only 20%.I was ready to give nearest higher value coupon i.e.Rs.50/- Their system is not design to accept Rs.50/- coupon.

                  This is for every product they sell under exchange skim in entire store..

                  Just take a account how many customer they deal & how much bill they generate by this system,how many customer they make fool in every minute.I approach to customer care counter,which is BIG BAZAR big time pass counter.

                  No responsible person approach to me for this complaint,No body take responsibility for such complaint.No any board or explanation display any where which will give information to customer about billing method under exchange skim.

                  After looking all complaint now feel the time has come,all customer should come together to teach lesson to BIG BAZAR,for their false commitment with customer,making fool to customer.

                    Placed order on Feb 1st and I still havent received all items in the order. Customer service agents know only how to make false promises of "Items will be received in the next 2 days".

                    I am very very disappointed and in the process of complaining with the consumer court if I don't receive my items by Monday or Tuesday next week.
                    I have placed an order[protected] for 3 items on 29th Jan 2012. After lot of hardship when i managed to connect with customer care on 1st Feb 2012 they confirmed that it shall be shipped by the endof the day.But as of today 6th Feb 2012 the online status shows that only one of the item has been shipped but that also I have not received.What a blunder they do while shipping only few of the orderd items.Also I paid them through my netbanking online in advance. They seems to simply cheat and give unnecessary trouble to the customer.

                        I have placed a order on 27-Jan-2012 (Order# [protected]) at futurebazaar.com but still I am waiting for the delivery of my order I have placed the order because it was suppose to deliver till 10-feb-2012 But when I contact to customer service they told me that It will deliver till 18 Feb, When I contact again to customer service then they are saying "due to an overwhelming response for the ordered product we will deliver it on or before 1-Mar-2012" but still there are no update on the my account section.

                        I am not able to understand why these guys are taking order if they are not able to deliver these orders, If the orders in shopping cart is not in their control then refund the order amount to customer if they want.

                        But I am not getting any thing neither the refund nor the products. As the name suggests Futurebazaar, I hope they will deliver it in future if my luck works.

                        I think this is the perfect slogan for futurebazaar "FutureBazaar - Just place your order and we will ship it in future with no time line :P".

                        Great brand with great service what else I can say about it, Place your order If you have money and time to waste on placing order and following up these peoples.

                          I payed for a Sony Vaio Laptop on 13th June'10. Till 8th July, almost one month passed, the product is yet to be delivered. The customer care department of Ezone/Futurebazaar is making one false promise after another, but I am yet to receive the product!

                            I had placed an order with futurebazaar.com for:
                            Set of 2 Trek ThumbDrive UDP 4 GB Pendrive
                            Order total: Rs. 375

                            Dated: 26 Jan 2012

                            Order was COD and I was not home when the courier was delivered. The bill with this order was for Rs 825 and that amount was paid to the courier guy since the bill was from Futurebazaar.
                            I immediately sent an email to futurebazaar at [protected]@futurebazaar.com pointing out that the invoice was incorrect and that I have been charged the extra amount of Rs 450/-. There was no response to the email for 4-5 days and I called up customer service to complain. They took all details and promised to get back to me. No response again for some days so I called again and was told that no complaint was entered in their system. I lodged the complaint again and was told that refund would be processed by 20 Feb 2012. I called again on 23/24 feb since there was no refund made and I was told to wait for maximum 2 more days. When I called again after no refund was made I was told that their systems are down and I should call again, and the phone was put down. On trying again they said that they dont have any update now.
                            It is quite disappointing and frustrating to not being able to contact anyone senior to resolve this issue and the customer service team has absolutely no interest in helping or resolving the issue expect somehow finish off the call and postpone the customer for a few more days so that when he calls back then someone else will take the call and the cycle is repeated. I have confirmed that they have the complaint registered in their system for the refund and that they do have the correct account details for processing the refund.

                              Hi.. today i did a purchasing of Rs.2000 at FBB Triton mall, Jaipur. Even yesterday also did purchasing of Rs.3500 , but today i unexpectedly i got to know that fbb's standard is down grading day by day. One of the salesman there told me that yes it has a 25% discount ( on showing the kid shorts to him ). But in the bill the discount was not their ( MRP. Rs.379 , Size: 3-4 yrs). When asked to revert my money back they denied it completely ,i asked them to give me a written paper with their rules or whatever. They called their Supervisor Mr.Rathod ,who is not even good to be a helper in that store, in front of him one of the salesman was laughing on me , i just warned him not to do this ,but the supervisor was quit as nothing going on . Well he didn't got whatever i said ,and when i said i will file a case against you guys and go in consumer court, he said no worries sir you can go anywhere ,first take your bill and go from here. Dude its like the major difference in the standards and management . I am gonna take a legal action against them for sure , Please everyone if you have such kind of complaints with these bull stores ,than just boycott them. I purchased in one another store in the same mall of Rs.26,000 on 14th Feb , and today i purchased a wallet of Rs.500, they were the same as they were, it doesn't matter for them how much i spend or so , they just know how to behave with a customer . I purchase lots of clothes , thousands of spending every month a clothing and accessories, i often use to go to fbb, but now will not even look at it.

                                We have purchased the furniture on 27 Jan,2012 and the Manager of Big Bazar, Bhubaneswar promised to deliver the same within 15 Days and demanded 5 Days as grace period. we have agrred to that and bought most of the furnitures from there. But it has been 20 days passed there is no reply from Big Bazar , Bhubaneswar. Ther are dealying the order and not picking up the phones. Moreover they said to file a complaint or do as we like. They are not bothered. The attitude was like a Gunda that whatever you want to do you can do. We are suffering withot furniture. Big Bazar is doing large scale retail operation but it shouldn't be too aggreesive in selling that it can't keep its promise.
                                Big Bazar should give a proper training to its employees for behaviour...Mr. Biyani shouldn't be just concerned with his bank balance but with customer satisfaction also.

                                  My Order No : [protected] dated on 31 Jan'2012 and and according to the order details the product is to be delivered before 21 Feb, 2012 but till date I have not received any information about the order shipment. As per the terms and conditions of the website

                                  No information has been provided about the order other then the initial order confirmation mail. I also called twice (Ph No. - +[protected] as listed in the site). In the first call the customer care person was not able to give me proper information. When I called a second time nobody answered my phone call. I find this situation unacceptable and this situation is affecting me mentally as I do not know what has actually happened and what has been done with my money. Also I find it very disturbing that I can not hold anybody accountable for the situation and I expected a lot better from the site.

                                    I have done big mistake by getting to words of Hometown Hyderabad.On Feb 5th 2012 I had a visit to the store and Sales team had said I can make advance payment and get special offer which is available on that day. They had shown that they will be giving 40 % discount and additional free items. Sales team said once they take measurements of my apartment they will provide me the exact design based on which they will draft a agreement between Hometown & the customer. But later I felt that Hometown agreement is one sided agreement which is totally in favour of Hometown. Customer has left with no option of raising his voice just need to accept what ever and how ever Hometown delivers. More over entire payment has to be made with out even completing the work. So I decided to cancel my order as it was not confirmed by me. But when I approached the store manager Mr . chakradhar is denying for cancellation and more over forcing me to do business with them for Rs 1,90,000 else he cannot refund my advance amount of 10,000. Even though I have not been into any agreement with hometown on execution and final design Mr Chakrdhar is saying he has already placed my order so he cannot cancel. I had requested him to put the same response in written for which he denied. Later on my repeated request Mr Chakradhar said he need two days for sending email about my discussion. But two days has past but no response from Mr Chakradhar. Hometown company website clearly states cancellation policy but he not reday to accept.

                                      Given below is the complaint I made with Big Bazaar and I still have not received a reply from them.


                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I am a regular customer of big bazaar and I was very saddened and disappointed by an incident which took place at your big bazaar outlet in Poonam Mall,Vardhaman Nagar,Nagpur. I had gone for shopping with my family in Big Bazaar as i do every month and i purchased a packet of 400gm Govardhan cheese whose MRP is Rs.130 with a manufacturing date,August 2011. Since it is a bakery product, it has to be consumed within six months of the manufacturing date. As per my calculations, six months from august finish off in January. That product should have been off your shelf since it had crossed the date of expiry but it was still there on your shelves and unsuspectingly I purchased it because of my trust in your company. This happened on the 1st of Feb,2012. When i received the delivery of my products on 3rd February,2012 with the bill, I checked them and it came to my notice that the outlet had charged us Rs.160 for that packet of cheese which is Rs.30 more than the MRP. According to the rules set by the Government of India, no one is allowed to charge a single rupee more than the MRP, and I was charged Rs.30 extra which is highly incredulous. I am unhappy that you have stocked products which have crossed their expiry date and are selling it to customers which is a wrong practice and highly intolerable. I had taken up this issue with the outlet manager and I am highly dissatisfied with his answers. I used to constantly read in the newspapers about such incidents happening in various stores but such kind of incident happening in such a reputed store has flabbergasted me. I have lost the trust and faith I had in your store and I have been provoked to take up this matter in the consumer forum/weight and measurement department. Its my request to you to take this matter seriously and stop the sale of products more than the MRP and also which have crossed the expiry date in all your branches or you will face serious consequences.

                                      Big Bazaar (Future Group) — Damage of Furniture

                                      I purchsed a full bedroom set (which iclude a double bed, a side table a wardrobe and a Dressing table set) worth Rs 19999 on 24th may 2008 fron Big Bazzar at reghuleela Mall, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. It took one month for them to fixed all the furniture.
                                      In the month fo august all furniture started getting fungus and termite, it caused lots of damage to the furniture.I asked them for the replacement. After giving so many call and my 3 personal visiti to the big bazzar a man came from their side and just did the fungus cleaning part. He could not do any thing to other damages.
                                      I again visted to the Big Bazzar and asked that kindly replace the furniture.They said process is going on. By the time the person Mr. Sandeep who was handeling the problem got transfered to the other location.The new person Mr.Purshotem who has been given this task to handle has not contacted me yet.I tried calling him several times on his personal no. but he is not available on it.

                                      On 12th December again I visted t othe shop, but he was on weekely leave and the other person note down my no. and said he will contact me on saturday. But till today i have not got any call from them.
                                      The worst part is they dont have any system to note down the complain and give the customer a complain ID. every time I visit to them I have to explain all story to them.

                                      I am in early satge of my career and this was the biggest investment done by me so far.I want the product tto be replaced by Big Bazzar (Future Group) or Return my money if they cant do that.
                                      I expect a fair justice from the Consumer Forum.
                                      I am really frustreted with their service and the long process.

                                      send a notice to the manager+company+retailer, through a lawyer warning him that u will go to consumer court, they will definitely come to you for the replacement if not file the case under consumer court.

                                        Hi,

                                        Subject : Improper conduct and mishandling of the company's policy
                                        I visited Big Bazaar on 18th Feburary 2012 in chinchwad pune around 5pm. My handpurse was checked and locked. Due to a phone call , i came out. I reentered , but at this time all my personal items like earrings , cosmetics , small wallets were put up with the white sticker whcih were inside my bag and my bag was then locked by the plastic string. I asked the security personnel that when my handbag is locked , then they should not put stickers inside on my personal items inside the bag. They said rudley get a gate pass if you dont want the stickers. The incharge of the outlet came and said this is comapny's policy. I insisted to show me the policy. On the policy itw as mentioned clearly that laptops , or baby bottles or water bottels which are carried should be sticked. I insisted to accept my complaint by providng the recived stamp of their coampny. But they did not do. I dailed the customer care number [protected] which was busy all the time. Manager in cgareg came and denied accepting my written appalictaion. he said you need to drop the email or call on the number. I dialed in front of him the number shared . It came engaged and he tried to fool me by dialing in the number [protected] which was ringing. I debated on this as well. Not only this, he said that we are putting stickre son customers jackets as well. Such insult was being done by the staff of big bazaar. My only point was that we open the locked bags in front of the bill payment counter . So why you are putting stcikers on the pesronal items inside the locked bag. Moreover now its communciated that our clothes would also be palced stcikers which is anmbarassing and humilating. I request you to please validate this case and assist me. thanks
