I Raviraj Kumar want to bring in your notice about the fraud practice of Future Value Retail’s employees.

I purchased a new Sansui 26 LCD Television from Big Bazaar, Kormangala, Bangalore on 3rd. March. 2011. I asked the Sales Representative Mr. Zabi to check the TV and he explained they usually not check the new TV but only give demo on display TV. After my request he checked the TV but not remote and argued that remote is sealed pack we cannot open and assured me that there won’t be any problem.

I reached my Flat with TV at 10 PM night and found remote was not working, by the time I went back to Big Bazaar it was closed. Next evening I reached Big Bazaar directly from my office and met Mr. Zabi explained the problem and he filed a complaint (No. BAN [protected], 04/03/2011) he said its minor setting problem and Sansui will send a representative and problem will be fixed on 5th morning. I had been waiting and no one appeared. Finally Mr. Joseph from Videocon came to my place on 6th but he could not rectify the problem and went back. He told he’’ send someone else on 7th afternoon but no one came in spite of my several calls. I approached Big Bazaar again on 7th evening; they sent 1 representative and replaced the TV.

TV they have replaced is old one with lots of defects. Until 7th morning they did not have same model of TV in stock except display one. I clearly mentioned that I want fresh piece not the display one but they cheated me and have sent broken TV. TV panel from back is open and broken. After waiting 5 days I received the old TV for the price of new one.
I am attaching few pictures of the TV which clearly shows that panel was open and broken. TV looks too dirty which explains that TV is old. I have paid the amount 5 days back and could not watch TV for 5 days and now they have given me old TV. This is a big fraud I have observed and I have no more patience to wait further.

I have no option left rather than going to Consumer Court and Media.

      After going through your advertisement in news papers on discounted rates of various items, I went to purchase all kitchen items from Big Bazar, NSP Delhi(Metro station). I found three prices of most of the items i.e. MRP, B.B. Prices and exchange price. When a person purchases 100 of items, he doesn't check these price in cash memo. But when I saw cash memo, I was surprised to see that many items have been charged more than the MRP which is an offence. The discount is hardly available in most of the items. I immediately made the complaint at 30717735 because nobody was picking up help line no. [protected]. I was assured to check up the bill and get back to me, but nothing heard so far.
      My Till No.: 3, Receipt No. 0002479 and Tr:4005 and bill amount is Rs. 6194/-
      The items which are charged more than MRP: Kabuli Chana: Rs.70/ against MRP Rs. 68/-, Philips CFL 20 WATT: Rs. 225/ against Rs. 220/- 2 nos, Colgate tooth paste: Rs. 116/- against Rs. 99/- and Red Lebel Tea 860 gm: Rs. 315/ against Rs. 305/-
      It is surprised that no discount was given on many items.
      I am therefore submitting this complaint to compensate me within 3 days for charging extra charges, to and fro fare charges from my home to Big Bazar and back, mental agony, time wasted and cheating by you for wrong and misleading advertisement failing which I will have no option but to lodge FIR against the management of Big Bazar and take the help of Consumers Court.

        While purchasing Prestige non stic tawa they told that i will be getting a 1 year warranty period...but with 3 months tawa was spoiled.. i had taken them to exchange they requested me to come after 1 week...but up to 3 weeks thaty had not given any proper answer....at last they told that it's not exchangable....

        They would have conveyed this earlier...i was very happy but after 3 week am getting avery hars reply from them...

        BIG BAZAAR had cheated me ..very badly ...

          Good day,
          I had bought furniture from home town pune and the delivery of the same was to be done at home town hyderabad. The initial delivery was done on time. However while installing the furniture it was found that a recliner that was ordered was delivered in a wrong colour. I had ordered black And the same was delivered in orange. The concerened mgmnt then said that there was no other colour available, and I agreed upon taking the delivery of the same. However after opening the package completely the recliner was also found damaged. They then said that they will "stich it up" and repair it which was totally unacceptable to me for a brand new recliner. I have then gone to pune paid the diferrence amount and bought another brand new recliner in exchange for the damaged one. They have collected the old recliner but the delivery of the new one is still pending. This has been going on for the past 1 month. I am totally disgusted and fed up wIth the home town management here at panjaguta hyderabad.

          Even my complaint is almost same.I purchased a furniture form Hometown, kolkata (Bhowanipore) on 2.1.12 and was promised that it will be delivered within 15 days, which can take maximum 20 days and the delivery date of 27.1.12, was put on the bill . On 22nd jnauary, I was called by Mr Prasanta and told to make balance payment as my article is ready to be delivered. When on 26th January, I went to make balance payment, I was told by Ms Sweta that it will take even more time and will be positively delivered by 30.1.12 and she put her signature on the bill which implies that after 30.1.12, I will not accept it anymore and the decision will be mine.When I was repeatedly calling the people concerned, none bothered to respond. Is not it cheating customers, taking money in advance?

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            Recently on Saturday 19/02/2011 I have purchase some products including undergarments from Big Bazaar Malad (West). All the products I have purchased is correctly but by mistake the undergarment size I took of 95 instead of 85. On 21/02/2011 I went to the Big Bazaar Malad west to exchange the size but they have refused to exchange it saying as per their policy undergarments are not exchanged. This is very poor service where a customer purchase a new product and when he wants to exchange the new product the Big bazaar officials are not exchanging. On speaking the offcial said on the bill it is clearly written undergarments are not exchanged but I have not checked clearly the product and paid the bill. On returning home I checked the size, it was 95.

            Nowadays old products are exchanged for new product by paying extra money but Big bazaar officials are not exchanging the new product brought.

            Please take this issue seriously and need to take proper action so that the other customers are not affected. The customers are paying money for the product buying for themselves, if by mistake the product purchased wrongly then they should throw the product. This is very wrong attitude towards consumer.

              I was a regular customer of Big Bazaar, Vadapalani, Chennai till i had a shocking incident there. I forgot to take my bag from the trial room, but i returned after 5 mins and the salesgirl gave my bag.To my shock, my purse was not there. When i asked her, she said she hadn't opened the bag to see what was inside. We went to the manager and requested him to please do something about it. I had almost 5000 rupees, my debit and credit cards, my daughter's small gold bangle and my voter ID card. There are dozens of staff in big bazaar, they could've helped me by checking the bags of customers who were leaving the shopping complex atleast for the next half an hour. I pleaded with them for the same for almost an hour. The manager called up the salesgirl who returned my bag and asked her on what basis she gave the bag to me without confirming that the bag was actually mine! We were actually devastated by their indifference. When we asked them to please check with CCTV cameras, they replied they haven't installed it in their shop. Such a reputed and big shopping complex doesn't have CCTV is something to be ashamed of. Even small supermarkets have them installed nowadays. I had no other option than to get out of that irresponsible shopping mall utterly disappointed.

                I have purchase a JAIPAN LITTLE MASTER MIXER GRINDER
                FBID: 1139177 having order no [protected] on 12th August 2011.I call again and again to futurebazaar customer care and sales team for my order but everytime they assured me that the product will be delievered as soon as possible.But when till 25th I will not receive me product I again call to futurebaazar and Mr Irfan told me that the product is not available in our warehouse ,even not available to jaipan store but the fact is that the same product is available for sale on www.jaipanonline.com.Then he offered me a Bajaj gx1 model mixer grinder as replacement for my order but when i searched such model on google i found that therfe is no such model on google.When i called again to futurebazaar.com they told me that we will revert back to you with in 48 hours.But still no reply from their side...I am calling again and again bt now they are not picking the phone([protected])...Plz never purcahse from such fraud websites.I want to know if the product is not in their stock then why they put the same for sale.........KIndly help me I want my product and not refund

                  I ordered a Swirl Queen Bed on 26th Jan. The promised date of delivery was on 10th Feb, but till now they didn't do the delivery. Everyday I've been doing a lot of calls, and every time a different person picks up the phone and gives us false promises and different reasons for the non-delivery.

                  They say that they will deliver tomorrow and then on that day if I call, they say that they'll deliver again tomorrow. Like this every day they are telling tomorrow and tomorrow and it has never come up till now. I'm really fed up with the worst service of BigBazaar, ITPL, WhiteField, Bangalore.

                  I've also seen lot of people in this site complaining about the bad delivery rate of the Big Bazaar. I'm really worried as my amount is held up with them and till now I didn't get the product.

                    I have booked an LCD on 27-Jan-2010 whcih i got delivered on 11th Feb-2011 and the same gor installed on 14th Feb-2011.... I have told while purchasing the entire process of Delivering Tv, Installations and also connection of Videocon DTh will happen in 7-10 days...
                    But unfortunately things are follwing as per commitment first off all Delay in delivering in LCD and now they are not sure on DTH connections..

                    Response from the same is it will take more 5-6 days for deliveing DTH connections... I request for an strict action and penalisation for this kind of service so they shouldnt repeat this kind of mistake....

                      Hello Sir/Madam,

                      This is based on the misleading advertisements by showing incorrect image as well as features at the throw away prices.
                      Once the product is ordered they dispatch different product of low cost and less quality of same company. On the top they said they say mistakenly written features.
                      and give buyer free online voucher on top of it. so buyer think they got compansation.

                      But in actual they benefited by selling low price product even if they give free voucher.
                      So buyer will have two option
                      1) get voucher and shut his/her mouth
                      2) they will be get money back after 30 working days (15 working days for shipment and 15 working days for refund - at the end they will use our money for 45day without giving interest)

                      From my own experience.

                      1) order no. [protected] - 29.09.2008 - TRANSCEND PEN DRIVE 4 GB FBID:[protected] I have not complain by thinking this could be human error.
                      2) order no. [protected] - 24.01.2011 - (DELIVERED ON 14 FEB 2011) Iomega 1.0 TB Hard Drive FBID:[protected] but this time one has to raise finger agains the fraud.

                      please beware of future bazaar.

                      I have also attached product image which i have bought 1TB iomega showing image and feature of prestige edition.

                      And i got 1TB Iomega select poduct which low cost and with less feature. (even after considering 500rs online voucher which they are offering me- which i have not accepted and raise my fingure againt future bazaar)

                        I bought Sansui LCD , F & D home theater and Philips DVD, on[protected] and till date[protected] I dont get delivery of all the items, but that time they promise to give delivery on[protected] , When dont bother to give single call back, Inspite of so many compliants to there land line and mobile nos they are not listening.Now I want to cancelled the order and wnat my money back along with compensation for my sufferings .

                          I have orderred a AC from futurebazaar.com, order number is [protected] on 3rd february.
                          They have promissed us to deliver within 7 days,
                          After 7 days i did not get my AC so i called to customer care to know status.
                          I got shocking answer that they dont have AC in stock and agaist 1 ton LG AC, they asked my to accept 1.5 ton wirlpool AC!
                          I was very surprised that how come they react after 7 days that they dont have AC in stock

                          I am very disappoint with their service and i request everyone that dont buy anything from futuregroup, they have rubbished service

                            Its been more than 2 Weeks and The BIG BAZAR (VIP Road) Kolkata,did not provided/send their Samsung Washing Machine Fitting People yet. which they have promised with thier BIG Talks.So cheap level of service by them.
                            My Washing machine is still packed ,from last 2 weeks.And I am very sure the
                            warranty will void without using it.
                            Every day I asked them to send fitter and get the job done,but of no use.

                            BIG BAZAR just Talks more without giving any proper service to their Customers.
                            Why good companies like Samsung etc. works with them , the unethical BIG BAZAR.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I have purchased a Travel Bag of Milestone - from Big Bazar, Lower Parel on 6th Jan.2011. Within 1 week time, both the handles got broken down. Wheels also getting jammed.

                              The letters on the bill also gets vanishes, as it is fax type print. I have proof that I purchased it from there, because, i have swapped my card for the bag's cash payment.

                              As per the Milestone, they are doing Jolt test, Wheel test, then my question is why customers suffers?
                              Why the defective products comes to customer end?

                              I went to Big Bazar, but nobody helped me to resolve the concern.

                              Hope, now I will get satisfied by correcting the bag

                                HI Its regarding Order [protected] I placed an order at Future Bazaar making the payment through net banking and recieved a mail saying the order is processed and even after Two week still I have not recieved my part as commited delivery would be in 7 days.And I am keep getting same excuse telling that they have no stock fo the part which they do always.Any buddy suggest how to deal this point of time if any body has experienced the same can we log complain to consumer court.But I feel now after this experience never suggest any one to do online shopping with Futurebazar group.And I am sure this the First and Last mistake I've done doing online shopping with Future Bazar.

                                  I had purchased 4 nos. instant water heaters model no. KWH-IN 1 from Big Bazzar, Zirakpur on 12th October 2010. Tank of one of the water heater leaked and the service centre at Baltana, Zirakpur recommended for replacement during December, 2010. I was informed that the replacement was approved. For the last 4-5 weeks I have been contacting Big Bazzar, Zirakpur, but every time I am told that they donot have the same in stock to provide me the relacement. Every time I contact big Bazzar, they tell me that they would inform me when they will give me the replacement. Never they bothered to call me back.

                                  What was the fun purchasing this item from Big Bazzar, I donot hope now they will give me replacement within the winter season. Whwn a customer like me who is a resident of Zirakpur and at approx. at a distance of 1 km is not getting the requiste service from Big Bazzar, what a distant customer can expect of them.

                                    The Hometown store in Marathahalli, Bangalore practices fraudulent billing methods to boost prices. While shopping there recently I found the sales guy entering UPC manually instead of scanning the barcode on the pretext that the scanner was not functioning. I insisted on using the scanner and was surprised to find the scanner working and the price lower by Rs 20 for all products. However they refused to bill using the scanned UPC on the pretext that the scanned price was incorrect even though the product code & descriptions matched perfectly. Whereas the manually entered UPC only pulled up a generic description. Beware and insist that all products be scanned instead of manual entry.

                                      The home took 3weeks to deliver a sofa, and when they did, they never sent a carpenter to assemble it. I had to wait another week for that and guess what the carpenter arrived without tools and screws! And the worst they wouldn't process a refund for until 45 days because it was paid by a debit card.

                                      I ordered an TV wall unit from home town, hyderabad in Aug'2008. after 2 months they said the colour what i ordered is not available. they asked me to wait for some time so that they will deliver the desired colour. in the first week of Feb'2009 they delivered the wall unit (After 6 months). now the real problem started. till now (it is already one week after delivery) nobody has come to assemble the wall unit. it is just lying on the floor. very bad service. i called them repeatedly for several time. they always tell some wrong answers. very bad service. please dont go for home town.

                                        I have send this mail to customer supprt of big bazaar whose content is as below-

                                        I have a gift voucher of Rs.1000 having number [protected]. Today on 31st december in morning I presented this voucher to your bigbazaar rajkot's cash counter but they didn't accept saying that it has got expired.
                                        Two things are clearly mentioned on the card that

                                        1.the card has been issued on 31st July 2010
                                        2.the card is valid for 6 months.

                                        I have talked 2 your customer help executive Mr. Rushi about this issue...what he said that the voucher got expired yesterday.

                                        My point is that voucher is valid for 6 months..and if you calculate 6 months from 31st july 2010..its 31st december 2010.
