I am the consumer of BrihanMumbai Electricity Supply. Every month the bill amount is exceeding more than 1500 even there is no proper usage of the electricity. Most of the time all the electrical appliances are turned off, still v are facing this problem. Please look into the matter so that at least in the coming month v may not face this problem.

    This is to inform you that there are no buses going from University stop to Santacruz station for 30 to 40 minutes from 12.30 pm till 1.15 pm. This is going on since June 2016 and was not the case previously when the buses were on time
    Has BEST undertaking reduced the no of buses or changed the timings as after 1.15pm there are no of buses lined up which all go empty causing tremendous difficulty to school going children when they leave school
    Please look into the matter at the earlist

      I was driving from borivli station to gorai in my car.with my wife and kid . after crossing don bosco signal I was on the right track and the best bus which was behind me had come on the left track bus no mh 01 la 5953.As we approached mhb colony he started indicating towards right as the road near mhb is very narrow because of the slum on the left side there was no way he could have overtaken me he wanted me to stop the car and give him the way being on the first track I had the right of way as soon as I went ahead he followed me the distance between my car and bus was not more than 6 inches he was intimidating me continuously till gorai depot . I stopped my car near gorai depot he immediately started abusing me and threatened me that he will bang my car and he does not care what is the consequence. my wife and kid got panicked. he was not only driving rashly but he was putting my kid wife and my life in danger.this happened on 24 th august 2016 at around 8.50 pm. I request you to take strictest action possible. thank you.

          . My mother used to travel from vijay nagar (Marol) to filter pada by rout no 186. To bring grand son from school.

          But unfortunately she experienced arrogant and careless behavior from same driver four times.

          I am providing the details of tickets to track the driver was involved in all four incident.

          Incident 1: (Vijay nagar bus stop) she kept child on stairs and trying get into bus, till then bus driver started moving the bus before she get into the bus. Fortunately co-passenger hold the child and informed the conductor and then bus got stop.

          Incident 2: (Filter pada bus stop) same day mentioned in incident 1, while alighting from bus. Driver started the bus before she get down. Fortunately she hold the support bar.

          Incident 3: (Vijay nagar bus stop) driver stopped bus away from bus stop, she got confused and get in from front door as she was caring child. Then driver started argument why you come from front door. It was his mistake that he has stopped bus away from bus stop.

          Incident 4: (Filter pada bus stop) same day mentioned in incident 3. While alighting from bus driver again started argument and teaching my mother how to carry a child. As she was doing it proper way. She asked him what is wrong with why are you torturing commuter's.
          "then he ended the argument with don't get into my bus again"


          Please help us out as quickly as possible.

              Dear sir,

              We board the bus 461 ltd from seepz depot at 5:10pm.
              Of late we observed that the driver creates unnecessary ruckus whenever lady passengers try boarding from front door mentioning that this is not allowed.
              Even to the extent of holding the bus journey and passengers at ransom.
              He also physically abused a female passenger when she tried to climb from front door.

              Involving the seepz bus depot officers in this did not provide any solution of sort.

              So today 27th july 2016, all the passengers boarded the bus from the back door.

              But we found that the driver allows completely abled young men to climb from front door even at subsequent stops. But if any female passenger tries to board the bus from front door, he does not allow them even if they come running.


              Is this biased behaviour justified?
              From his behaviour it seems he is holding some kind of grudge against women passengers.

              We women passengers pay the same fare as men, so why do we have to face such biased behaviour?

              We expect the best authorities to be concerned about the female passengers' pain and as a service provider would like you to take strong action against the bus driver and discontinue him at the earliest.

              We could not note the driver's number, but on 27th july 2016 he was driving the bus number 461ltd from seepz depot at 5:10pm. The bus number is 8347.

                Details of deduction :

                My amount has been incorrectly deducted from the cashless card for which no ticket was generated. i have been raising this issue with all the required data to best poinsur depot and kandivali station west topup counter since february 2016 and have lost all hopes to receive my money back. i have been following up regularly without fail on weekly basis for the same issue but have not received any satisfactory response from the best team. the amount is not yet credited and i was again and again informed that on next top up the amount will be credited, based on that the top-up was done on[protected]:01:32 but no refund amount (172 rs at that time) credited till date.

                I am mentioning some very few of the highlights of the problems faced during the process to raise for refund.

                1. on submitting the application and card at the kandivali station top up center, first thing there is rejection by few members at the counter to accept the card and they will be willing to send you to poinsur depot. — they should be accepting the card as they are in daily connect with the depot compared to sending us long to depot. also if our problem are getting resolved in the specified time it even make sense for us to go that long till depot, but no way i consider feb 2016 to june 2016 as small duration for refund of very small amount. that to still pending even after weekly visit to kandivali station office, making n number of phone calls and 2 visit to depot.

                2. i had interactions with the sr traffic office best (he was very helpfull) as the concerned person jadhav sir was on leave that day. we get good response from the staff at best depot which is quite different as compared to my experience few years back there but however their willingness to respond does not help on the resolution if the issue. the problem still persists.

                3. they best team will put the matter on the third party vendor and the converse. there seems to be lack of co-ordination problem or communication gap on who's responsibility the part of work comes under. — firstly my card got replaced with the new one. the amount was still not credited, after which each time i used to get the response that the card is sent to wadala east, it office. on connecting with it department i was updated that their task is to just provide the card and the balance is a part of work of best but they are sending the card to the wrong place. he provided the update to mention in the application send the card to c. c. r (joshi sir). i was so done but from my end. i am not sure if the card was sent to correct place and was there any processing done on it but i still could not find the amount updated. please find the attachment with the data marked with the marker (details also mentioned above).

                Please note : top up was done as informed on[protected]:01:32 but no refund amount (172 rs at that time) credited till date.

                4. the process or procedure is not clearly defined or know to the employees of the organization and they are not properly trained on for the same (i feel its seems as a lack at best management) and its painful and bad experience to followup so much for such a tiny matter. the amount of money spent on following up and travelling to the best depot or contact point (which are not my usual route of daily travel) had become same as to the refund amount.

                5. there are no response on the contact points provided below (why is it even mention there if we get no response for it).
                M: [protected] (toll free) - not mind paying call charges atleast pick the call man.
                Email : [protected]@bestundertaking.com - mail sent to this id on 20th feb 2016 and a reminder thereafter. no response received till date. is anyone reading the mails there???

                6. if there is fare hike - best very quick, ready and spontaneous to do it. but issues keep on hanging here and there.

                7. why there isn't an online process for raising for refund, wouldn't making it digitized will help save lot of efforts and money, provided there is someone to at least respond to your queries from the other end.

                8. attaching the transaction statement. i took the copy of transaction statement on my second visit to poinsur depot and the staff was surprised as from where did i get the details. firstly its not a big task for to google out and get the information/data that is made available online (http://epurse. bestpass.co.in/epurse_report/cardtrans. php). please provide the training to the staff about the organization and the process functioning of the concerned department.

                9. request you to take a mote of above points and also refund my money (however after so much pain i have lost all hopes in receiving the refund amount). please let me know exact and clear steps on how my issue will be resolved and by when?...

                Ideally no steps were taken until I escalated the matter to "https://aaplesarkar.maharashtra.gov.in/en/" --> grievances portal. Dropped mail to [email protected] as suggested. Thereafter I got response from the very precious BEST department for which I was struggling for 6 months. The company processed my refund and the amount was credited on my next topup.

                I escalated this to Maharashtra government site "https://aaplesarkar.maharashtra.gov.in/en/". --> grievances redressal.

                  Sir, My commercial electric bill of duration 25/05/2016-22/06/2016 and of previous balance is totally 6240.00 Rs .I got a letter to pay the bill before 16/07/2016 or else my meter will be taken away. But its not true, the meter has been taken away on 10/07/2016 which is 6 days before the date and because of that im having problem.Ive paid the bill on 12/07/2016.So please look the matter as soon as possible.

                      Pls take kind attention to this matter seriously, yesterday on 16 June 2016 evening around 4.45 Pm i was waitng for bus no 522 at bhandup station that i had to get down for sector 15(maratha bhavan)vashi bus stop bcoz i have an meeting with my client around 6 pm.but from eveng 4.45 pm to 7.10 pm only 1 bus no 522 arrive but for only upto airoli.This is ridiculous when there are some other people who want to travel by same bus and the information i got from them is some of them travel daily basis from bhandup station to juhu nagar but that people also told me that we never found this bus 522 on time, some times we wait for 2-3 hours and finally we have to travel by auto or taxi and pay 15-20 times more fare than bus.
                      So, its my humble request to you that pls find an solution for it and increase the frequency of this bus.
                      And one more question i want to ask to B.E.S.T. chairman and mayor of municiple corporation, mumbai is who will bear my loss bcoz that client refuse to meet me again for what i loose my 1 cr business deal.

                        Hello,

                        There is only one bus (27) running from Gandhi market to vikroli depot. Again previously aleast next bus used to come in the gap of 15-20 mins but now since one month, the time gap is increased to 40-45 mins. That also leads to more crowd in the bus and delay in reaching the destination.
                        I prefer traveling in bus because I am doing night shift n trains are too crowded at the time I start my journey to office. But then now a days this bus is also crowded due to delay. Getting late for my office is again a issue.
                        I think if there are so many people traveling in that route then BEST should increase the number of buses in this route.
                        Also I want to bring this to the notice that conductors are very stubborn and rude. Always frustrated and don't know the reason. They always demand for change while giving tickets. If someone have the change they give but everyday its not possible to carry change. So does that mean a person is done any sin by not carrying exact amount for bus? Is it that the passenger have mint at home?
                        Many a times passengers is asked to get down just because they don't have change. How fair is this?
                        I think this issue can be resolved if BEST comes up with something like smartcard. Conductors can insert this card in the machine they have and deduct the required amount n provide ticket to the passenger.

                        Request you to look in to and help passengers to travel happily and reach their destination on time.

                          I take the AC 461 from Kanjurmarg to Jay Coach. And I have lot of grievances to share.
                          1. The frequency of bus is 40 mins. Although every driver or conductor I have interacted with says otherwise. (20 mins) But I am forced to stand and wait at the bus stop for that duration.
                          2. The AC doesn't work to it's full potential (whenever it is working)
                          3. The pace of the bus is so slow as compared to AC 422 or any other normal bus. It takes twice as time for the same distance. If the same is complained to the driver, they give the excuse that they cannot do much about it as the vehicle is running on diesel. I fail to understand how this is justified when another AC bus of same make and model is always running faster.
                          4. Leakages during monsoon season. Most the seats which are near window are leaking during monsoons, making it inaccessible to sit.
                          Is there a regular maintenance that i being performed in these AC buses. Plus there is an increase in the fare every 6 months. In last three years it has soared from Rs35 to Rs80 for the same distance.

                            With reference to the caption subject we have to inform you as under:

                            our monthly average consumption o[censored]nit are between 230 -250 for last two year. In the month of may 2015 our meter was recorded excess reading 9445 unit -864 as a result of which we had received the electricity bill for rs.10190/- and we have paid the amount on assurance from your end to settle the matter. We had written several times to rectify the error and pass on credit for the excess amount paid but every times you have made false promises and not settled the matter till date.

                            I hope you will look into the matter and investigate the facts of the case.

                            Your early response would be highly appreciated to close the the matter once for all

                              Bus Route No. 246 from Borivali to Kandivali. (Transport Reg No. MH01 LA5970. BEST Bus Internal No. 3213). Date 2.3.2016, time 18.35 hrs. I travelled from Don-Bosco School to Hanuman Mandir. Being a Senior Citizen, got in the Bus from Front Door. Conductor who was on the back side, came towards front side only after Charkop Bus Depot. I asked for the ticket but was surprised that he asked my explanation as to why I didn't bought ticket earlier. I told him that he is supposed to come forward and I was waiting for him and when he came forward at the first instance, It is me who asked for the ticket. He started arguing unnecessarily and misbehaving. Surprised upon his Rude behaviour ! My ticket No. [protected]. 11282202/03/16 18.34.57.
                              Best should appropriately advised the Conductor concerned and develop its Staff, particularly this Conductor about behavioural aspect while dealing with Passengers, specially with Senior Citizens like me.

                                  My consumer no is[protected]. my tenant has handover the keys on 30 march 2016. From this date to till my house is closed. I have cleared all the bills till march. And now I'm getting the Rs 2500/- for one month. i have only lights and fan but still my bills are coming very high. Please send your to check my meter.

                                    Dear sir,

                                    THIS HAS REFERENCE TO ROUTE NO. 268 (LADIES BUS) STARTING FROM ANDHERI STATION, IN MORNING AT 9.15AM. This bus is a ladies bus but the conductors takes in all the GENTS COMMUTERS also, right at the starting stop, beacuse of which the ladies from the next stop have to travel by standing on doors and some literally hanging out.
                                    I want to ask the autorities concerned, what is the meaning of ladies bus if these things are hapenning and the person allowing it is the CONDUCTOR ITSELF. On asking for an explaination the conductor says go to the concern authority and ask about it, and adds that the ladies on first stop dint say anything so i took male passengers. You tell me if iam boarding the bus from second stop, do i have to rely on ladies on the first stop to object the conductor?
                                    This is hapenning from last 5 months for all the 268 ladies buses in morning.

But in the month of October it shows me that I havent paid the bill and showing as arrears of 1141.I paid the total bill amount of 2070 for the month of October thinking that the amount would be reversed in the month of November.But the amount has not been reversed So for the month of September Units - 211 Paid Amount - 1150 Status - Paid Online For the month of October Units - 436(Actual Units 225 + Previous units of 211) *****Arrears - 1141.78***** Paid Amount -2070 Status - Paid Online For the month of November Units - 171 Amount -1150 Status -Not Paid Think it is a technical issue with acknowledging the payment received online. for the month of September.                                         This is with regarding to my Residential Electricity Billing Complaint which i want to address...for C ward as its Error in Meter reading which was been taken from BEST electrical officials & due to this error my electricity Bill amount is been increased. In all previous months from January 2015 to September 2015 my unit usage (kwH) is between 500 to 740 and in the month of October 2015 & Nov 2015 it has gone up to double of 1419 and the bill amount came to Rs.10075 we have addressed this complaint to (BEST Official) & BEST Official has assured us that this will be rectified in the next Electricity Bill but again we have received the Bill of Rs.10129-.
