    I purchased the mentioned flat of 1st floor of 473, Ashok Road Kolkata 700084, last year and get it from the previous owner on 16th of March 2020, from then it is kept locked due to lockdown, I was out of station as of my mother's serious illness, I can't get the bills on time so that I can pay or check it, now when I went to my flat, I saw the electric is disconnected and went to know the matter to cesc office, they said me about a huge bill of last year March, April and June

      I resided at 223, canal street, Sreebhumi, kolkata-700048.Since past five years I am facing a problem of higher bill amount.There are no such appliances which may cause higher amount.I cannot check the box as we resided at a flat.Previously bill amout was 700/- p.m averagely which now become[protected].Which is quite abnormal.I am doubting there is surely any electric threft or this is a result of your nuisence.I request you to look into this matter and take required measures immediately.

        Everyday we the residents of Shibrampur, Jayshree park, Kolkata 700061, West Bengal area are facing power cut several times and it became an usual practice of the CESC. On an average the power outage is happening 3-4 times daily and lasts upto minimum period of 2-3 hours and whenever we are raising complaints about the issue the customer care cell, they are telling us that "The transformer is gone out" and nowadays it seems like we are listening to a broken record! If the transformer of the area is faulty then why the CESC authority is not replacing the transformer into a new one? The electricity tariff is the highest among the whole country and moreover there are no such big industry is in operation which cause the problem!!! We demand to know what is the actual reason behind it. If there are any power theft occurring in the area then why the authority is not any action? This deliberate action is left us no choice but to knock the door of Court! You guys better resolve the issue to avoid any unpleasant situation

                I, RAM GOPAL SHARMA, IS ONE OF THE RESIDENT OF BLOCK-K AT BUDGE BUDGE INDUSTRIAL HOUSING ESTATE, 24 PGS (SOUTH) HAVING MY CONSUMER ID [protected] WISH TO STATE YOU THAT GOVERNMENT RAISED THE OUTSIDE PATHWAY of many building including BLOCK K, AND CONTINUED THE SAME raising of the road by plastering even INSIDE THE BUILDING staircase floor. BECAUSE OF THIS RAISING OF FLOOR THE GAP BETWEEN THE FLOOR AND METER BOX IS NOW VANISHED AND THE WIRES ETC ARE LYING ON THE FLOOR MAKING IT A FIRE HAZARD. IT IS UNDER WATER NOW DURING RAINY DAYS AND AN ACCIDENT IS JUST WAITING TO HAPPEN.
                I HAD FILED THIS SAME COMPLAINT ON 2ND JUNE 2021 BEFORE THE MONSOON SEASON BUT NO REPAIRING WAS DONE. ANY DAY AN ACCIDENT CAN HAPPEN AND WE LIVE IN FEAR. TAKE THE RISK. IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO THE RESIDENT OF THIS BUILDING CESC WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE.
                You are requested to immediately take steps for the upliftment of the meter box to prevent any untoward incident.

                  Hi Sir/Madam,

                  The officers at the physical office (Outstanding department) at Shyambazar Kolkata office are harassing us mentally by stating that someone called Ramgopal Poddar has not made electric payment 3-4 years back who lived at our address at some other flat on 3rd floor which is not at all associated with us (We live on the 4th floor). The outstanding department has acknowledged that we are not the same person.

                  The outstanding department is saying we have to sort their mess (corona or no corona) and pay them 20000 rupees that the person owed to CESC.

                  They are not allowing us to pay our part of the bill and the person present on the counter is saying that he will harass us and do what we can.

                  This is really difficult for me and family as they are threatening to cut the power as well. My dad was on oxygen concentrator for the month for safety measures as advised by Our doctor. Please help me.

                  I asked for the officers at outstanding department name but he is not saying his name.

                  I don’t have that much money to spare for these things as I have paid enough for medicines this month already.

                  Inspire of the ailment we visited Shyambazar again and again by the members of office are not helping.

                  Looking forward for your help. Please tell them to not threaten to cut my power and sort their billing related mess on their own

                  Flat bill in the name of Anand Lohia.

                  Please advise if we should take any legal action due to this as my father is weak and we cannot risk breaking covid protocol every day just to visit CESC to sort their mess which had nothing to do with us in the first place.

                  This is pure mental harassment of an already suffering family.

                  Please do something to fix the issue or advise next steps.

                  Is there no moderator at the consumer forum to help in this? I had to do a credit card payment of the amount that someone else had incurred. Now CESC will harass more. Is it correct after giving the letter, is there a norm to cut the line?

Meter unit same the last meter readind done month if april i.E 7926/- till today miter unitsame so how it is possible to bill was coming rs 1360/- it is totally fraudline activity so please look after this matter urgently.

                      I had requested for additional load and accordingly inspection was done and a bill for payment of Service Charges was sent to me. Accordingly I had made a payment of Rs.3000/-(Rupees Three Thousand Only) was made by me online by Citi Bank Credit Card. The response showed that payment was received and I too go confirmation from Citi Bank stating payment made. But I Did Not Receive Any Receipt For The Payment Made. My Customer Id Is [protected].                         I made payment for May on 26th June using Google pay. The bill was not generated but the payment was deducted. For the month of June, bill amount includes electric charges for may. Its already paid from our end. So need revised bill. Please sort out the issue ASAP.

                          My Customer ID of CESC Ltd is [protected], Complain regarding my electricity bill payment for Rs 4950/- on 16th July 2021 for June 2021. I have paid such an amount through google pay. As per CESC intimation, this payment was not received by them. It has been confirmed by BOI Debit Card and google pay that payment has been made successfully and transaction details have been provided by them. But CESC denied such payment. I want to resolve the case for the same.

                          I have attached the bank statement, google pay receipt that I have paid to MAB.[protected]@AXISBANK. For the bank statement, I have attached two documents one generated by the bank, it's password oriented[protected], and another document highlighting the payment made on 16th July 2021.

                            Issue with Chowringhee office at Kolkata, WB.

                            We applied for a new meter reference no. As stated above in May but it was not installed as the main connection was delayed on CESC's end because of lockdown.
                            They sent a person to install the meter without giving the mains connection before!
                            Then once the main was set, they never came to install my meter.

                            The offer is usually for 3months and would expire in August. I have paid the advance deposit of 30, 000 almost upfront.

                            Neither the district engineer at Chowringhee office nor any CESC employee has responded to my problem depsite repetitive mailing and queries.

                            They expect amidst the pandemic, I have to visit their office which is far from my place in public transport for a connection that I completely applied online.

                            What's the point of digitalising if people have to visit office and sign forms in a raging pandemic! And if this was the scene, why take money online and not provide service afterwards. This is unprofessional and absurd.

                                Consumer Name: SM BANI GANGULI
                                For may' 2021 I was charged Rs. 1400 for units consumption=167 units, for june' 2021 I have been sent a bill of Rs. 3170 for units consumption= 355 units. My pattern of consumption has been same for all summer months and there is no way that my consumption can shoot up from 167 units to 355 units. I have also been charged an amount of rs 262 extra towards government duty which has never been charged before.. The bill you issue should match my consumption pattern. Please look into the matter immediately, send a person to check the metre, or correct my bill. I won't pay any money that isn't going to justify my usage.

                                      Hello, my bill details are- consumer no-[protected], Name- Swapna Sarkar, address-12D, UMAKANTA SEN LANE, KOL-700030. BL-B, FR-3RD, FL-3D. I get excess amount of bill from the last 6-7 months. In between that time I don't at home that much still I get high amount billing which is not comparable with my electricity usage. And last two months noone live at the apartment still we get 4030 bill amount for two months. Where we literally switch off our main meter. Then how is that possible. Please I urge u immediately stop it. Stop sending this much higher amount of bill. We r a middle clss family so please this much bill payment is very problematic for us. And this is not right. What they do is absolutely wrong & disgusting. We normal peoples are financially tortured by them. So please take my complain & take procedure on this. Please help us.

                                        Excess bill amount please stop it right now

                                        I get an excess amount of billing amount from cesc electricity line from a while. I wasn't at house for almost 2months. And also i switch off my meter as i will be not live in the house from past 2months. Now in July I get 2months bill which is in total 4030. So I didn't pay the bill as it is very high. This things are happening from last 6-7months. When I live there I do not use that much electricity comparable to the bill. So please take...
