    I, Mahadeb Ghosh, Son of Shri Samarendranath Ghosh, R/O-3RD-FR, FL-B, 301 Rabindranagar (West), Kolkata- 700065 am an existing customer of CESC Limited having Customer ID : [protected], Consumer No. [protected] would hereby like to draw your attention that since the Accounting Month of May'2021 I am receiving exorbitant electricity bill of Rs 4840.44 again by manipulating units with unpaid arrear of 1 month received Rs. 7980/- for June'21 due date being 17.07.2021. This is very unfair as we all are already lothering from a never seen pandemic situation for CO-VID 19 disease that has adversely affected livelihood. I think either my meter is defective or is being tampered or there is defects in recording meter readings as I humbly request the concerned department of CESC Limited be pleased to take steps for inspection of the meter and if meter is faulty would replace and reassess bill No.Bill No.:[protected] dated 07/07/21

    I appreciate if the matter o[censored]nfair excess billing is resolved at the earliest in ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.

            Dear team,
            This complaint is in regards to the high electric bill as from 2 months I am observing this. We have less usage of power comparatively last month I don't understand y there is a miscalculation of reading leading to high bill.

              The bill is of exhaustive amount and the reading of 547 units cannot be mine. Kindly verify the reading and refund or adjust the excess payment made by me under protest in future bills.

                Dear Team,
                Every month when the person came in to take reading he told that name is not reflecting so as to take the consumed units, now this is high time in a row.
                Also we are consuming the units and presently consumed units is 700+. we are also receiving the bills with Zero amount which is not OK.

                I went to North regional office during lockdown and show them the meter screen shot, they send a bill of INR 5000/- and told it will be Ok, but it didnt.
                Even today also when the person came same issue

                We are suffering from last 8 months and even after follow up no solution.

                  For the past two years, we have been provided with temporary overhead wires from the electric pole No.516.In the last three months the problems have been severe starting from short circuits to fluctuation and voltage. We are living in constant stress and evertime we call your team, there is no rapid action taken.

                        CESC doing conspiracy against good paying customer by manipulating units charges in one month low and then next month excessive high so that they can take high amount of high rate slab charges. When they do such things they will not send sms of meter reading like this and I also did not get. When I phoned them they said it was mistake by person who took meter reading, they admitted, then I said to them then why should I pay high slab rate, this is your fault, take units charges in low rate (by multiply), and bill amount will become low. They replied, company has got their own process, it will be calculated in high slab rate. By this way CESC is looting good paying customer so that they become bad payer.

                        As we don't have any alternatives which CESC knows better, they are doing cheating to the people of the city.

                        I urge to the people of Kolkata that they should aware all citizens of this city and give protest against this malpractice to generate high amount of bill, looting people in this pandemic situation, where citizens of kolkata suffering very bad economical phases.

                          Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                          I am domestic consumer of electricity under the CESC Ltd customer id [protected] I regret to observe that the electric bill for the month of MAY 2021 (Rs.1500.00) seems too high in relation to other bills of the previous months .
                          My six months consumption is as follows :
                          November[protected] units
                          December[protected] units
                          January[protected] units
                          February[protected] units
                          March[protected] units
                          April[protected] units
                          May[protected] units

                          The amounts charged in the bill of May 21 (Rs.One thousand five hundred only) is heavier than what I actually pay every month, while the consumption is usual. Where we have not used so many units of electricity, it is very difficult and unimaginable for a middle class family to pay this huge amount of bills.

                          I would, request you to be so good as to kindly make an enquiry into the matter if found excess due to meter-reading discrepancy. I would also like to request you look into the matter by rechecking/recalibration of my electric meter.

                          I hope you will sympathetically deal with my case and do the needful.

                            Sir, I'm a customer of CESC for several years but never faced such a situation before. We have two meters in our residence, one of which is with Customer ID - [protected] . This particular bill is showing excessively high amount (₹1190) that usual for the month May 2021 having a due date of payment 29/06/2021. We generally pay ₹150 to ₹300 for this particular billing ID. Even the payment of last month was rs- 180. But this time we got a due bill of ₹1190. Which seems to be a mistake.
                            I'm writing to get a help about this High amount of bill correction. I'm sure there must have some mistake.
                            We will be highly obliged if you kindly able to help us about the getting of a correct amount of bill to pay off .

                                Sir,
                                I am writing a complaint in regards to the high electricity bill i.e., units consumed 366 units in the month of May'2021.
                                I know that I have not been using more electricity than before and I have not been using any power-consuming large electrical appliances particularly in this month, even during lockdown period in the year'2020(mentioning May'2020) only 240 units was consumed and such abnormal bill I have never seen earlier against this abovesaid customer ID.
                                Therefore, I think there may be a problem with my electricity meter or taken faulty reading by the meter reader.
                                I request you to depute someone from CESC to inspect it as soon as possible and clearly telling that I will not be overcharged again.

                                    Sir,

                                    This is to draw your kind attention to the frequent low voltage that is faced by me for long days. The problem is mainly raised generally after 11 P.M. in the summertime when the natives are operating their ACs and when any heavy machines like Mosaic Machine and Marble cutter Machine etc. are operated by my natives.
                                    Low voltage does not permit our lights and fans to operate at that particular time. It puts me into great difficulties. The students, senior citizen, and the little kid suffer a lot. We are deprived of a sound sleep. And also hampers the next day’s work.
                                    In this regard, I have lodged complaints w.e.f. 14/04/21 to 28/05/2021, but yet to be solved till date, Details are given below:-

                                    Complaint No. & Date Work done by the Technician&Remarks
                                    1. [protected]/[protected] dt. 14/04/21 Technician attended, just checked and told need to change MCB, but still not done
                                    2. [protected] dt. 26/04/21 Came and told when the problem will happen then lodge complaint Accordingly, lodged complaint again 27/04 as per Tech’s advice.
                                    3. [protected] dt. 27/04/21 Came and change the Phase that which resolved the problem temporarily and told that I will inform the Higher Authority to resolve the problem. Till no action has been taken.
                                    I bound to say that the quality of work by the technician is very poor as seems to me.
                                    4. [protected] dt. 28/05/21 Not attended, just talked over the phone and told when the problem will happen then lodge complaint otherwise complaint to Higher Authority I was astonished that when I asked his name then he has denied telling his name and lastly says that SINGH (but from true caller I came to know that his name is Kashi Ram Kori and Mob. No. [protected].
                                    I, therefore, request you to kindly take an early step to check this problem.

                                      I am writing to point your attention towards the above-noted subject.My Coustomer Id : [protected] Recently I have received the bill for Month of MAY 2021, which is much higher (5490) than my usual bill amount. My last 3 month is INR 410 for the month of Feb 21, INR130 for the Month of Mar 21 and INR160 for the month of April 21.This concerns me a beat since lately I haven’t used any electrical appliances that could escalate high electricity consumption. I think there has been some huge mistake during preparation of the bill.

                                      Therefore, I would request you to have the bill thoroughly examined against your record and rectify it as early as possible. I have even mention the last three months electricity bills for your reference and information.

                                        Dear Sir
                                        I am domestic consumer of electricity under the CESC Ltd customer ID [protected].
                                        I regret to inform you that the electric bill for the month of April 2021(Bill No. [protected]/04212) amounted Rs 2930/- which was paid on 19th May 2021 through Google pay with ICICI Bank amounted Rs. 2900/- vide UPI transaction ID[protected]screen shot attached).
                                        Therefore I have received Current month bill which is showing the above bill was unpaid and the amount added as arrears with May electricity bill.

                                        I spoke to the ICICI Bank and they shared me the massage with RRN No.[protected] which shows that the amount already credited to CESC Account (massage attached).

                                        I would like to request you to look into this matter by rechecking the above mentioned electricity bill and adjust the paid amount in current electricity bill.

                                        I hope you will sympathetically deal with my case and do the needful at the earliest.
