From last 1year I am getting wrong bill, visited their office multiple times submitted letter, complained online but no result. My last paid bill was on December 2020 for consumption o[censored]nit 4165 after that present regarding is 4191 as I was not using it but they send average bill without proper reading from my meter box. Now after so many follow ups they corrected the reading this month Jan-2022 but the calculation on amount is wrong, for 26 unit consumption they sent the bill of Rs. 5100. I am not able to pay until they correct this and roaming around them from last year August.

    We regret that it will not be possible to generate the payment receipt at this stage if we do not receive the payment confirmation from the payment gateway. As soon as the information is received by us,

        Dear Team,
        Hope this mail finds you in the best of your health and spirit.
        This bill is regarding a wrong billing amount sent to us for the month of November, 2021. As you can see as per the latest bill, the units consumed for the last two months were zero which is correct as we are still at our Hyderabad place and the Kolkata place is empty now.
        But due to unavailability of people on the desired day of checking at our Kolkata house (intentional/unintentional, as our uncles stay there at one part of the house now and they only show the metre box when the concerned official comes for investigation), I got a message at my registered number informing I should give the metre reading by night. But again due to the unavailability of them and since we are at our Hyderabad place now, we could not provide the reading.
        Unfortunately, CESC reciprocated last year i.e. November 20's consumed units to November 21's units (i.e. 179 units and the amount to be paid by 4th January, 2022 is 1290 which is unethical and wrong. As still the units should still be zero and the unbilled amount should be Rs 110.0 as paid for October 2021, as we have still not visited our Kolkata house and hence noone is there.
        So I kindly plead with you guys, to send the correct bill and if required revisit and reinvestigate and then send the bill. As with noone staying and without any consumption it's absolutely impossible and not right to pay Rs 1290/-.
        Requesting an urgent action and your prompt reply is highly solicited.

        2. Screenshots with the correct messages received from CESC, encircled in blue which are proofs to my statements.

          Dear Mam/Sir,

          This is the third time I am making an official complaint about the electricity meter box which is barely hanging from the wall & is in a very dilapidated condition.
          We are facing frequent short circuits resulting in blackouts. The wires are all tangled with each other & short term servicing by the local electrician is not helping either. The first complaint ([protected]) was made on 14th November. Somebody came to our place & just went back without mending anything. However as per your call center, it's mentioned in their remarks that a temporary solution was provided which was a blatant lie. The second complaint no ([protected]) was provided on 21st December & still no steps had been taken.
          Hope you take appropriate action & get this one sorted out soon.

              Further to my complaint (Docket no 32118112 dt 11/10/21) regarding the above subject please note that I have not yet received a solution but I had a discussion with your representative over phone where I was told that excess amount will be adjusted from my upcoming bill based on last six months average unit consumption.                   Bill payment Debited from account but Failed by CESC

                  I paid my Electricity Bill online on 08/12/2021 by using HDFC Bank net banking for the month of October but due date is November 15th. After paying the amount of 840, I had not received any acknowledgement message whether the payment has been received or not by CESC. After that I checked my bank account details and saw that money was already debited in the name of CESC. Now I received message that my CESC electricity bill Failed but not received...

                  Yesterday, there was voltage drop in our house, so we complained CESC regarding it. After that few electricians came from CESC and they told that our meter box was burnt. So a complained was filed in CESC(Docket no.[protected]. Now it has been more than 24hrs and our meter box is still not replaced. We are suffering without electricity for more than 24 hrs

                      I am getting very high electricity bill for last 6 months ranging from Rs 1100/- to Rs 2000/-.It appears to me an unexpected increase in bill because I know that my own family electricity consumption is not so high. My previous bills ranged between Rs 700/- to Rs 900/-.

I stay in pune .I sold my home in kolkata in oct 8 and send cesc all intimation of same in oct and requested cesc by mail to refund my security deposit money and money for extra bill charged[protected]units in my bank account or by dd/ cheque to pune adress where i stay I send all details but still they without information and paying heed to my request is crediting to new owner in metre credit note ..This is my money, how come third person be getting it despite my written mails and request several times ..Kindly rectify and ensure I get my dues not the new owner or third party

                          I would like to lodge a complaint against the high electricity bill dated October 2021 for Customer id [protected] or consumer id [protected] in the name of Sukriti Mazumdar for address 215/B Jodhpur Park, LP 145/9/3/8, Kolkata-700068 which was Rs.5060. Now I have paid the bill but i am astonished by the high amount because for the entire month, the AC was never used. Moreover, we are very sure that no one from CESC comes to measure the units consumed from the meter box on a monthly basis. This amount is arrived at very arbitrarily. You must investigate this matter most seriously and adjust the amount with the next month's bill and also not repeat such incidences in future, Else I shall have to make an appeal before Consumer Forum demanding a thorough enquiry.

                            Incorrect and high bill. No response from CESC

                            My Customer ID is [protected] and Consumer ID is [protected]. CESC could not take meter readings at the end of Sep due to water-logging. CESC sent a bill for Sep-21 (dated 10th Oct) with an assumed 477 units consumed whereas my actual consumption was less than 200 units. Consequently, my bill amount was much higher due to higher price slab. I sent multiple mails [protected]@rpsg.in since then. No response.

                              I get a job as a back office clerical job in your company. They sent me a confirmation letter and joining offer letter by mail and WhatsApp also but their not mentioned posting area. So I contact them and they told me over telephone that a second mail has sent in my mail id. And so that I am waiting for that. But till I don't get any mail from your company . And they don't contact with me. I call them those officer who given their identity as at works in CESC. But they don't help me. My joining date is 17 November 2021 and I don't get any msg from them. So I complain about this fraud. They have taken from me money as a medical and security deposit. Now I beg to inform you please help me to search those officer who cheated me.                                 I would like to notice you that my (Kunal Bhattacharjee) Customer ID is [protected]. Billing address is 62/31/2 Haripada Dutta Lane Kolkata 700033. My billing amount payable is not more than Rs. 2500/-. But unfortunately I received the electricity bill for September in which the net amount payable is Rs 27110 /-, where the adjustments is Rs 24662 /-. I am not able to pay that huge amount which is not for my connection.

                                As per conversation over phone by Ms. Subhra Chatterjee I got to know that the above adjustment amount is taken from the bill of Mr. Sailendra Prasad Bhattachajee which is unpaid . But I would like to inform you that I do not stay with Mr. Sailendra Prasad Bhattacharjee. I stay in first floor . He stays in the 2nd and 3rd floor. My electric connection is totally separeted from the 2nd and 3rd floor. My queries is that why should I pay his due amount.

                                I think his floor electric connection is taken from the Meter No[protected] and the customer ID is [protected]. This connection is in the name of M. Bhattacharjee. Contact No [protected] / [protected] .
                                I therefore request you to debit the amount from my bill for the month of September and give me the chance to pay the bill for only 346 units which is noted for this month.

                                I will be obliged if you take the necessary action as early as possible and I can pay my actual amount within the due date.

                                    The above mentioned electrical pole in very nearest to my under construction building so that applied for shifting vide reference no:01/09958/21 and the inquiry made on 17/09/2021 but till now no measures yet been taken by CESC so that my own under construction building is in incomplete and any incident may be occur at any moment. Pl make an arrangement for shifting the pole and enable me complete my construction as soon as possible.
