    I am receiving electricity bill for unexplained reasons for my flat which is locked for long as I am posted out of the city. The SMS received for present meter reading of 8915 unit on 5/10/2021 but the bill reflects previous reading as 8930 and present reading as blank. Kindly check for the false billing/ erratic meter reading.

        MY customer id is [protected] My father fied a year back or more in 2020 july After that house is locked and noone stays there Still for a year I am receiving exorbitant bill to my surprise I complained multiple times to CESC team and called too but still the bill is not rectified though the customer care assures me every time that it will be done
        According to their advice I took metre reding on september 8 th and october 5 th from home and send them but still the inflated bill is not rectified Plz see the pic attached of my metre reading and cesc resding The difference is substantial[protected] inflated by 1663 units erroneous metre reading Plz rectify this bill and refund me the already paid amount till date

            CESC constantly provide bill even we not in my residence last 3 months. I tried to call but no one responded. My consumer I'd [protected].
            This month bill was 1120. Why they repeatedly charged bill even we not in home in last 3 months.

            Please do a need full action regarding the same.

                I am writing this letter on behalf of my parents who are senior citizens . This is to bring to your notice that the electric meter in my house is in a very bad shape. The wires are all over the place and need to be organised.
                I tried to call your number and even in whatsapp since last few days but nothing worked. We have lodged multiple complaints with CESC but no action has been taken yet.
                Request you to please send some one to look and fix this problem at the earliest . My parents are under severe mental stress as they feel it might cause an accident any time.

                      There's is a power cut by cesc every single day since years now. CESC is not addressing any complaints neither is providing a permanent solution of these power cuts. There are multiple power cuts in a day and sometimes the power is not restored for the whole day. Kids have online exams and it is around impossible to sit for a 3 hr exam without power at home. People are working from home and are having a very difficult time due to these power cuts.

I have already paid the bill of may 2020 during lockdown period but now in current month august 2021bill, I came to know that bill kept in abyance was being added in consecutive 10 installment. And without being aware of the paid amount I have paid these 10 installment also kindly go through the matter and help me to get back the extra money paid by me.

                          Meter reading was taken on 28th September 2021. Meter reading taking person was very rude. At my home my old age parents only live. We have a proper meter room with gate. He came shouted on my parents saying why do keep things in front of the gate, as if CESC own the property & built everything. Also he was not wearing mask in this pandemic situation. Don’t understand how CESC allow their customer to be treated so badly, I have not seen anything like that in other electricity supplier at other state. I request to take prompt action, so that this kind of matter doesn’t happen in future.

                            I have submitted all the documents on behalf of my mother and CESC had to give a cheque amounting to the security deposit deposited by father, who has expired in May.
                            For changing the connection name to my name, I have also deposited around Rs.4300 as a security deposit again. But they are not replying back with any information or acknowledgement.

                            The steps followed is they call and inform you that they are refunding a very small amount amounting to around Rs.4000 such that the personnel can earn this amount in seconds. But while taking security deposit they will think its a huge amount. Make a default in bill payment even for Rs.300 they will get back to you soon but while repaying they feel reluctant as the amount is sooooo small that they can pay it blind-eyed but they wont.

                                My consumer no is [protected]. I have received bill for the month of August 2021. Meter reading recorded as 86963 whereas it should be 84963, therefore my bill inflated by 2000 units of consumption. Attached photo of current reading by me today 23.09.21. Please rectify the bill as I am unabke to pay this exorbitant bill.

                                    CESC Customer care behavior is so rough. Even though they are not giving us any solution from last night. Their rudeness is not professional.

                                    From last night we are getting just assurance from their end and still not get any solution.

                                    Local populace are facing a huge issue regarding power cut and water issue.

                                      Since last 3-4 months I am receiving very high electricity bill from CESC Kolkata. This has stated happening after the old meter was replaced by the new one on May/June 2021.
                                      We had put up a request to upgrade the load capacity as we planned to install another AC. Accordingly new meter was installed. But, despite running the second AC on rarest of the occasions, it is found the bill amount got doubled (average 3, 300) compared to the amount we used to pay (Average 1,[protected] when we had old meter

                                      I have a doubt in my mind that the new electric Meter is not working properly because the rise in bill started happening after the installation of a new meter.

                                      So request you to kindly look into it & resolve it as soon as possible.

                                        I NAHID PARVEEN resident of 50/1 dr Suresh sarkar road Kolkata -700014 . Each month I am paying an excess amount of electricity bill which is just unbearable for me since from past 4 to 3 months somehow I am arranging to pay the bill . I live in a 1BHK flat in which I use 1 fan 1tv 2 tubelights only still everymonth I am receiving a bill amount of Rs.1150 which is certainly very high therefore I am attaching my current bill also.
