On 21.12.2020 I paid my October 2020 electricity bill through credit card. The bill amount was Rs 590/-, but due to some technical problem my bill was paid twice. Instead of Rs.590/- I paid Rs. 1180/-. I was having an idea that the excess amount is adjusted in the next month bill, but I found that in November 2020 bill my earlier excess payment was not adjusted. Please do the needful.

      Hello,

      Consumer no - [protected], Last months bill worth 2840 has already been paid by Paytm, Invoice attached for reference and is also reflecting in your website. Still this month we received bill worth 4400 showing arreas of previous bill. Kindly look into this matter as the due date is showing as 18th January 2021.

      We don't want to double pay since we have already paid for it. Requesting you to look into this and provide a clarity in the situation. Will just aying the difference i.e only current months amount be sufficing?

          This is to inform you guys that I have made an payment through Google pay on 30th of September 2020. I have made an mistake there while paying I forgot to mention the customer I'd, hence the amount was never adjusted with my electric bill . I have forwarded an email as well . No response. I visited both the north Division office and victoria house . No response. They said they will call me . No response yet I have been there twice . What the hell is this. When can I expect my refund for the transaction. I have all the relevant documents. Rs 3960. Customer ID - [protected], Payment of my monthly bill .

            Meter no: 3828188 A/C ASOKE KU. NASKAR

            Dear Sir,

            With Due respect I beg to state that:

            Meter reading (present) shown in your Sep'20 bill was 12210 units.

            Meter reading (previous) shown in your Nov'20 bill is 11722 units.
            Present actual meter reading as on date is 11722. (attached please find a photograph of the meter reading).

            You have rectified the reading in your record but an amount of Rs. 2, 300.00 wrongly charged for 488 units are not rectified.
            Over and above you have again charged 54 units for the month as an average billing.
            I am not staying in my residence at Daulatpur, Maheshtala from Dec'2019 where your above
            meter no. 3828188 installed against my Customer Id : [protected].
            My above house is under lock and key from Dec'19 onward, so consumption of electricity does not arise.
            I will inform you well in advance before my return to my residence.

            In the mean time please rectify your record and stop billing temporarily.

              With reference to the above consumer number, I have received a bill of Rs 5620/- for the month of 11/20.

              My meter was non-functional / dead for last few months & CESC is not bothered to change the same after repeated complains from my side. Finally, 2 months back, changed the meter.

              Now, They are imposing a penalty with no fault of mine. I have received a bill of 5620/- and when I called up your call center, they are saying its a average billing from April onwards due to pandemic which is absolutely wrong.

              How can you penalize customer due to your faulty meter and charging customer in the month's consumption and highest slab???

              I had requested to charge based on last years same period consumption patter but they are not ready to change the bill

                This is to bring to your notice that I, LUCIA HANSDA, am a consumer of electricity provided by you. My details are :Customer ID. [protected] and consumer No.[protected] at 246 old-176 P.K. Guha Road, LP-66/3/1, Kolkata 700028. I have paid my electricity bill of October 2020 amounting Rs 1500.00 (Gross) online on 31.12.2020 and received the Success Receipt stating Transaction Ref No. VSM[protected] dated 31.12.2020. However, my electricity bill of November 2020 shows my October's bill as outstanding and the said amount was included in bill of November 2020.To any action against me, now I also paid the total amount of November 2020 bill amounting Rs 2650.00 online on 09.01.2021.
                I, therefore, kindly request you to look into the matter and take necessary steps to adjust the excess amount paid towards electricity bill of October 2020 with the bill of forthcoming months accordingly.

                  Line disconnected on January 7th 2021. Bill already paid twice. No outstanding bills.

                  The payment had already been made almost 1 day ago and two senior people have been left without electricity for the past 2 days . This is such an insensitiveness from CESC. Also I got informed that someone from CESC is asking those senior people for Rs.3000 to reconnect the line. The guy has even threatened the senior people saying that why online reconnection request has been made as the reconnection will only be made after face to face meeting and discussion. This clearly means that the person is trying to extract more money from senior people by holding them hostage without helping them to be reconnected.

                      Received a bill of 5500/- on one of home meters for month of November 2020 on January 08 2021.

                      The previous reading on the bill is blank and hence the unit consumed mentioned on the bill does not have any basis. No one came to check the meter manually.

                      During the month of June-Sep we have paid bill on an average of 6000/- INR per month, as CESC has send an arbitrary random bill as no one came to record meter reading during this time.

                      Why during the month of Oct-Nov no one came to check the reading? And why we are being slapped with arbitrary bill again which cannot be explained as there is no previous reading?

                          I sreya datta had applied for new meter and the bill no is 02/12344/20/6/1. I had payed online by debit card using billdesk payment gateway a sum of rs 41975. The amount has been debited from my bank account but i have not received any payment confirmation from cesc neither am i able to contact any of the helpline no s. I am also unable to trace the payment status via payment gateway. Kindly let me know about the payment status .

                                I, , Tarun Kanti Ghosh (holder of CESC Customer ID [protected]) am a consumer electricity connection providing by CESC since long. Since last 2 years I am paying the electricity bills by online through paytm. On 19.12.2020, I have received a Disconnection notice & bill ( green bill) of Rs. 6280/- for the month of October, 2020.
                                In this regard, it is pertinent to mention here that though the Bill for the month of October, 2020 was not physically delivered to me, I have paid the Billing amount of Rs. 3210/- as detailed in e-payment system, through paytm. In this respect I am enclosing e invoices for the month of September, 2020, October, 2020 and November, 2020 for ready reference. As a bonafide customer I also pay Rs. 6280/- as per a Disconnection notice & bill( green bill) issued for the month of October, 2020.
                                It is shocking that Disconnection notice & bill ( green bill) has been issued though the payment has already been made. Please make necessary steps to rectify the error.

                                  My above house is under lock and key from Dec'2019 to till date.

                                  I have not consumed any electricity from December'2019 till today.

                                  Present actual / physical meter reading taken on 29.12.2020 is showing 11722 (attached please find a photograph of the meter reading in this regard).

                                  Meter reading shown in your January'20 bill was 11805 which was 83 units higher than present reading 11722.

                                  In the mean time i have already paid Rs. 520/- on 28/05/2020 against your average bill of April'20 which i have not at all consumed.

                                  Again you have charged average bills every month from May'20 to Aug'20, accumulated amount of which is Rs. 1990.00 which is not payable/adjustable.

                                  I will inform you after returning to my residence.

                                  In the mean time please rectify your record and stop billing temporarily.
