Dear Madam/Sir,

I have noticed since last couple of months i have been billed much higher than what I was billed earlier.

I'm very much concerned about the bill amount increasing everey month even when I have not used much electrical appliances like what I was using earlier. So there is no point of getting a higher bill amount.

I have not received the physical bill in Dec'2020 but received a message from CESC. I'm simply pasting it below for your reference.

Bill message:
Your CESC bill for 10/20 (Customer ID [protected]) is Rs. 1300. Due date 23/12/20. To view & pay online, click wm4.in/?2012MMkpMCfp

I would request you to kindly examine the above raised escalation and if possible please resend the bill amount.

    This is to bring to your notice that i have noticed the reading received in the cesc bill is excess in compared to the actual reading.its nearly last two months i am paying excess amount to cesc supply against the bills, today i received cesc amount of 6460 for the month of october.
    In my aspect the reading is wrong as well as the flat is not been used for maximum days.
    i even did complain, your technician visited us today 12.12.20 and said to do complain physically visiting your office at victoria for how is there such units consumed.
    Kindly look into this matter and solve this as early as possible.

      My october bill has come for Rs. 7040 while i am a domestic consumer. How it will cost tp 7040. I am not user of Commercial units. Your representative due to COVID 19 stop to come for meter reading and right now they are charging such units. Why so irresponsible behaviour. Such kind of services is really not acceptable.

        With reference to above docket No., I bring to your kind notice that I submitted an application letter on 27/10/2020 ( Vide Docket No. 12026961 and consumer ID [protected] ) regarding correction of my address i.e. to record my address as per Mutation certificated of Kolkata Corporation as my address wrongly recorded in your office which is reflected in the Electric bill . I have also submitted a copy of mutation certificate with my application . But it is a matter of regret that the rectification of my address is not done and reason is unknown to me .

        Further, I request you to incorporate my email ID in the system since the contractor email i.e malaychoudhury [protected]@gmail.com is reflected in the system

        In view of above, I request you to look into the matter that my correct address i.e. as per mutation certificate will be recorded in your office .

            I am getting too much electricity bill last two months.i have my previous bill record.In this wintet time where there is low consumption of electric in compresion to summer.but still this month i get high amount of bill .so kindly look into this matter.check meter again.its unfare and i am not going to pay this high amount.

              I fail to understand how come the bill amount is so much high for the following months, where we had normal electrical usage...

                I have been getting really high amount bills for the past 4-5 months. There is no heavy usage appliance in my house. The bill is only increasing every month and we are fed up with this. We can't pay such high bills and we aren't even consuming that much units. Kindly look into this matter and resolve it as soon as possible.

                  Since last 3 months i am receiving very high electricity bill. Our electric consumption is almost the same every year, during this time of the year. Electric bills are as high 6, 000-7, 000, which is very much high that what it should be.

                  Also a few months back I stopped receiving meter reading messages on my registered mobile number. Which also seems suspicious as since then only my bills started coming abnormally high.

                  Please go through my last years and the year before’s electricity bills, they were never as high as this year. I am completely sure that there is something faulty or fishy with the bills that are coming these days.

                  Please look into the matter as soon as possible.

                      Dear Sir,
                      I DEBASHIS BANIK Customer ID [protected], here by intimate you that, through my registered mobile regarding payment of electric bill for the month of October 2020is Rs 960 for total consumption of 103 units only.Which is wrong as your ( CESC guidelines).
                      Because after gone through previously paid bills for the month of September 2020 it was Rs 980 for 149 units and for the month of August 2020 it was Rs.950 for146 units.
                      So it is requested to you sir, please look into the matter seriously and do the needful steps as early as possible and acknowledge so that I can pay the bill with correct amount on time[protected]

                              Exerburent electric bill of Rs 16600 in the name of Dr. Syed Manal Shah Alquadri, customer ID no [protected] for the month of October 2020. Why cesc didn't took the previous meter reading when they took the reading of my wife's meter and other meters of the same month of our building? My bill and my wife's bills are attached herewith. CESC has the monopoly that does mean it will oppress the customers.

                                I have been billed Rs.1160 for month of September which seems absolutely wrong since no one was staying in the apartment and this flat was lying vacant.

                                I do not think this billing was done based on actual meter reading taken from your end.

                                  Since last one year we have not been residing in our Kolkata home in Mangalik Housing society ltd. The house has been locked up since then with zero consumption of electricity. But every time very high amount of electricity bills are getting generated. This is wrong and we feel cheated.
                                  Please resolve this issue ASAP.

                                      I, Sanjay Sarawgi have been charged absurdly for tge month of september the amount being ₹3, 280 which is very high as per my consumption. I have already paid my bill but at this moment i would request you to check on my billing details and units recheck the charges i have been.                                         i am shocked to receive bill for Rs. 9710/- (covering a period of 3 months - july, 2020, august, 2020 and september 2020.) i have paid the bill to avoid disconnection, but you are requested to please look at the following facts :-

                                        (bill amount / units consumed / billed)

                                        2019 2020

                                        july 3140 (units[protected]units - 423)

                                        august 1890 (units[protected]units - 328)

                                        september 1280 (units[protected]units - 411)

                                        you can clearly see the gross error / mistake in your billing as above.
                                        you can also check records of earlier years also.

                                        as I have already paid the bill (under protest) to avoid disconnection
                                        i hereby request you to please arrange to make the necessary corrections and adjust the excess amount charged against my future bills or you may credit the excess charged amount to my bank account as under :-
