I Tanmoy Neogy, Customer ID [protected], Flat no. A/8, Ist floor, Basona Housing Complex, 30, Nagerbazar Road, Kolkata -700 074. have just now made an internet banking payment through billdesk gateway for a billing amount of Rs 4210.00(Rupees four thousand two hundred ten only) for my monthly LT bill for Aug'20 . But transaction was declined despite the said amount (Rs 4210/-) is debited from my account. Initially the netbanking did show successful payment, but while generating payment receipt of CESC Ltd, transaction is said to have failed.
The transaction ref .no of my bank is BIL/ONL/[protected]/CESC Ltd/CESC_VIC19.
Necessary acknowledge may please be made.

    Respected sir, Myself Sucharita Dey, residing at 59/60 BAGMARI ROAD, C. I. T building Scheme B. R. S-lll Block - 14 flat - 22 kolkata-700054. I Paid my May month bill via Google Pay on 1st June 2020 of 350 Rs.(Bill number [protected]) but this month (July) cesc has added May month's bill with current month's bill. The supply is after the name of my grandfather Sri krishnadhan Chakrabory. Customer ID [protected]

      Customer Id: [protected] : After several complaints for last 1 year, I came to know that there was a mistake from CESC side while reading meter and they have increased the load automatically, I have never made any request to increase load. I have very minimum usage in this meter. As a result, a high fixed demand charges are getting deducted for last 2 years. After several follow ups, CESC has reduced the load but did not adjust any amount. It seems they want me to pay extra money for their mistake.

      Moreover, I have complained in the month of Jan 2020, it took you almost 8 months to reduce the load. After several follow ups, I have first meter inspection on March 2020 before lockdown. Again CESC lost the details of that.

      So many mistakes from Your side. But its me who is paying extra end of the day. Please look into this matter and consider my request.

        Dear Sir,

        I am writing to point your attention towards the above-noted subject.My Coustomer Id : [protected] Recently I have received the bill for Month of August 2020, which is much higher (3800) than my usual bill amount. This concerns me a beat since lately I haven’t used any electrical appliances that could escalate high electricity consumption. I think there has been some mistake during preparation of the bill.

        Therefore, I would request you to have the bill thoroughly examined against your record and rectify it as early as possible. Please find herewith enclosed the copies of the last three months electricity bills for your reference and information.

          Address: Geetayan Apartment 18 H Alip[ore road, Kolkata-700027

          The wires connecting the meter is sparking leading to periodic blackout and also endangering the building. 8 complaints have been registered since July21, 2020 but to no avail. Technician attending to the are unable to solve the problem of sparking. This may lead to fire.

              Dear Sir,
              Eden City Mahestala complex is having more than 2400 flat and they are further expanding. CESC collected money from each flat owners and also constructed a sub station to maintain the electricity. However CESC did not bother to install proper street light on the entrance of Eden City . The entrance look like a village area in the evening. If you visit such a complex area at Bangalore or Gurgaon you can see the difference. CESC should install proper halogen lighting in the entrance of Eden City and BBT road.

                Huge bill generated by cesc for the month of August 2020 for our [protected]@ 179 Debinibash Road, Kolkata 700074.
                Total 3 nos of bill for each floors.
                Whereas we regularly paid the dues every months.

                Plz i want want a proper clarification with details for these huge bulls. I am attached herewith the 3 nos. Bill for ur ready References.

                  Respected sir;
                  My consumer no.[protected] and Customer ID [protected]. CESC officials had given a bill showing 9154 and on august it showed 1066 units. So total unit consumption 912 units.I payed the following bill amounts from Dec 2019 on wards...Rs 350/-, Jan 2020(Rs 390/-), Feb(Rs 280/-), March(Rs 630/-), Apr(500/-) and June(Rs 130/-).But unfortunately i found cesc gave me my May billing showing 1439 unit consumption and Rs 12185/- and July showing 22 unit consumption and Rs 3837/-. So this is the improper billing amount imposed on me by CESC. I shall be thankful if you kindly give me fresh bills showing proper amounts so that it becomes payable for me as per my unit consumption.
                  Will be waiting for proper billing amounts for the two months(i.e. May and July so that i can coordinate.

                      I am a physically handicapped person. I have a small stationery shop in my house. One light and one fan consumer id : [protected], customer id [protected] is working in my small shop. During covid 19 situation in april/may the shop was closed during lock down for about 45 days. Further i have also admitted in r g kar hospital kolkata during june/july 2020 for 32 days and shop was closed during that time.
                      Being a physically handicapped person, i am to inform you that the electricity bill of rs. 6, 770/- for the month of july 2020 for my abovesaid shop is not authentic and it should re-checked. I am unable to deposit the above bill.
                      Kindly do the needful at the earliest please.

                        House has been closed from 15/03/2020 till now but in the bill it still shows 713 unit consumed for the month of march (287 units - rs. 2089.04) april (215 units - rs.1535.47) may (211 units - rs.1505.47). Total oustanding amount is 5270.

                        There is no usage of electricity than how it is showing?

                        Meter reading in bill showing 7275 and in meter as on 06/10/2020 is 6629. Photo of the meter has been attached

                        Please waive it off and resend the corrected bill for the month of march, april, may, june and july

                              From last June 6, 2020 I am not consuming a single unit of power from CESC. But I am receiving huge bills from CESC which is not justified. I request to look into this matter urgently and resolve my issue.

                                  I, Mahadeb Ghosh S/O-Late Samarendra Nath Ghosh residing at 3RD-FR; FL-B, 301 RABINDRA NAGAR (WEST) having Customer ID: [protected] hereby would like to draw your attention towards exorbitant electricity bill for the Month of June 2020. CESC Limited has issued inflated invoices while we are already tottering with the never before seen effect of pandemic. CESC readily has all the required information of their consumer's power utilisation pattern at their fingertips. It is being opportunistic and poor business strategy by the power supply authorities. CESC ebill [protected]@cesc.co.in on August 29, 2020 at 11.20PM has communicated to me by E-Mail stating “You may kindly be aware that we were not able to take physical readings from 23/03/20 to 07/06/2020 due to tough challenges faced by us on account of strict lockdown and containment zones, arising out of the Global pandemic crisis. We however could resume physical readings from 08/06/20. In the month of March'20, we prepared the bill based on last year March Consumption and for April & May'20” However the consumer paid an amount of Rs.1610 for March’2020 through BILL DESK as CESC has unbilled the same in the bills for the Month of June’2020. It is stated that CESC was unable to take physical readings from 23/03/2020 to 07/06/2020 but bill No-[protected]/05209 bill dated 14.06.2020 is received with due date 25/06/2020 units consumed 112 Amt.1370 the bill elaborates that on 02/05/2020 readings were recorded. This is obnoxious, palpably illegitimate, unprincipled and negative approach by CESC Limited. Previously I received bill No-[protected] / 06202 dated 16/07/20 Gross Amount 5410, Units Consumed -547 I am not residing at my flat in Kolkata since May 21 2020 hence consumption of high units of electricity is unjustifiable and undignified action.

                                    I have got the electric bill of july which shows an amount of 1170 where as in june it was 840 and in may it was only 510! I can't understand how it can be possible to rise of almost 2 times within less then 60 days? I have not bought any of electronic goods in last one and half year. You can cross verify my bills if you want, i have all the bills as a proof of my complaint.

                                        Hi,
                                        I can't understand when a single led bulb is used most of the times. The fan is used in only one room.in the kitchen led tube is kept on for hardly 1 hour and in the washroom it varies from 1-2 hours. There is a refrigerator that i use. The ac is in only one room used only for 30 - 45 minutes but not regularly. Still cesc is charginge me a huge amount of rs 4070. The bill date is 16/09/2020. My customer id is [protected].
                                        I have called up the customer care and they are saying that it's based on my consumption. But when i told them that previously i used to receive bills with lesser amount and even requested them to check whether my meter is faulty or not or someone is stealing electricity by attaching some wires to the meter and i was informed by the customer care it can't be done.
                                        I just can't figure out what is happening.
