If you look into the previous bills of this year or the same months of the previous year you will notice there's a difference about 484 units difference. And i can guarantee that 3 people just can't consume suddenly like that.

Please take strict action regarding this.

    I, smt. Purnima mukherjee having customer id : [protected] and consumer no.: [protected], would like to state you that i have received electricity bill for the month of june, 2020 amounting to rs.5560/- only. The payment due date of the same is 27/07/2020. Now, it has put me in great anxiety as to how i could manage to pay such a huge amount being a family pension holder getting a meagre amount of pension per month.in this context, i'd also like to state that i have already paid bills for the months of april and may, 2020 amounting to rs.3, 370/- and rs.1, 540/- only respectively within due date. You have stated in the bill for the month of june, 2020 that overall consumption is higher which could have been due to increased usage during lockdown and it is shown that unit consumed is 607, but it appears to be incorrect as i have not installed any kind of additional electrical appliances during the last 5 years which could have made such an increase in consumption. Any inspection in this context is appreciated from your end if you wish.
    In view of above, i request you to consider my case and do the needful in this regard.

      July 2019 bill reported and billed by cesc is around 6.5k, unit consumed shown is 787 unit for home which is completely absurd and unacceptable.
      This never happened in last 8 years if you check the previous reading
      Please resolve this and rectify the meter or reading.

        Here is lipika dhar mahanti.. Customer id..[protected].. Recently you have sent me the bill for the month of june 2020.. Amount you have charged is rs 4113.35 and unit consumed is 615..

        This is so much surprising shocking astounding incredible and of course irrational bcoz i dont have following things at home..
        1. Refrigerator
        2. Heater
        3. Air conditioner
        4. Air cooler
        5. High speed fan
        6. Induction
        7. No heavy current consuming machine
        8. No generator
        9. Geizer
        10. High power light
        11. Water heater
        12. Washer and dryer
        13. Computer and laptop
        14. No sound system
        15. Washing machine
        16. Water pump
        17. Microwoven
        18. Toaster
        19. Iron
        20. Vaccum cleaner

        We are simple middle class small family comprising of only 3 adult members at home and use only led lights..

        Kindly requesting you to check units and bills again, or else change the meter immediately bcoz we are not able to bear this much of monthly electric expense which stands beyond our affordability and we have led this sort of simple life (With almost same electric appliances) in many parts of our state, never ever paying this much of high electric bill..

            I am a Domestic Customer of CESC containing Consumer No: [protected] & Customer ID: [protected], address- 94/A SURYA SEN NAGAR, KOLKATA 700 074, LP.166/9/1. However, I have received a bill amount of Rs. 3840/- for 15th JULY, 2020 billing cycle to be paid within 03.08.2020.
            It’s really very shocking because during the summer months I have paid a highest bill amount was between Rs. 600/- to 1300/- in recent years but now during this hardest time Covid 19 where the financial status and economic status of my family really shaken you have sent such abnormal bill amount. I am sure that the meter reading they are showing is definitely manipulated.
            You are hereby requested to help me in this matter and in solving such unprecedented billing as I am unable to pay such amount during this hard time.

              Dear sir

              Sub : consumer id [protected] and consumer id [protected]

              I am surprised to note that this month you have again sent us the bill for the month of may '2020 which we have already paid on 21.06.20 for both the bills. Again you have send us the bills for the month of may '2020 which i have paid again by mistake the details are given below. You cannot charge double bill for the same month which is absolutely illegal and negligence from your side. So it is very much clear that it is a gross mistake from your side

              Secondly in both the month's bill you have charged very high amount which is absolutely impossible, illogical and abnormal as we have never paid this abnormal amount in last 15 years. So in both the cases it is gross mistake from your side and you are requested to refund back our money immediately by a/c payee cheque.

                This is to inform you that I am getting double amount in our Electricity Bill for the month of June 2020, Generally I pay the amount 1000 average but in this month I got doubled where I have consumed the same units for light and fans. I think this is your mistake and please review as soon as possible.

                I need to get the new bill from your side after reviewing all this.

                  Since the lockdown started i. E for 4 months, we have been receiving high amount of electricity bill which is beyond our comprehension. Even for amphan hit time period, when we were left without power for 9 days, we received a bill of rs 4320 which is absolutely nonsensical.

                  Would like to draw attention of the authority concerned, to this issue and would expect proper measures to be taken to rectify the bill and refund the excess amount.

                            Hi,, i have complained to cesc customer care on 17.06.2020 but their representative doesn't docket my complaint regarding huge unit consumption of my bill (June'2020).
                            I have acknowledged my meter reading from the last 3 months (I. E[protected] which is 992 units) but it is next to impossible for us to use these huge units. Kindly provide me the breakup of the usage of the said unit (992) with proper clarification.

                            We are facing immense harassment for this purpose temporarily where the last date of bill submission is 20.07.2020.

                            We want proper clarification with breakup.

However i have received a bill amount of rs.12, 290 for june, 20 to be paid within 24.07.2020. It’s really very shocking because during this period you are sending this much high bill amount. I am sure it’s not fair and you also did not clarify. The amount consumed is unbelievable and not justified, please compare previous years reading and bill amounts as well as last six months consumption. As we know during this hard time of covid-19 and lockdown period the financial and economical status o[censored]s is really shocking because you have sent such an abnormal bill amount. I am sure that the meter reading they are showing is definitely manipulated. You are hereby requested to help me in this matter and in solving such unprecedented billing as i am unable to pay such amount during this hard time. You either review or send adjustable fresh bill.

                                Have received bill rs 15, 050 for the month of may 2020 against id [protected]. Although my regular bills are usually around 2000 +/- how can cesc generate such high inflated bill during this pandemic when we are having such financial crisis. Please send corrected and rectified bill to enable me to pay my bill at the earliest.

                                      Cesc consumer id: [protected]. (Sri abinash ch sarkar)
                                      I have received the bill no: [protected]/06200,
                                      Bill date: 16/7/20
                                      For the period 02/7/2020 to 03/6/2020.
                                      The unit consumed for the same period of last year (2019) was 163 units. Whereas the consumption for this above mentioned billing period is 383 units, which is almost 250% of normal unit consumption.
                                      Unit consumption of may, 2020 is 70 units.
                                      Unit consumption of april, 2020 is 78 units.
                                      Unit consumption of march, 2020 is 106 units.
                                      So the unit consumption of june, 2020 is (383/70*100) 550% o[censored]nit consumption of may.2020

                                      Generally during this period of year i pay rs[protected]. But this time it is rs. 2670 which is abnormally high.

                                      This is exorbitant, unjust and not acceptable. So, i believe cesc should look into the matter. I insist cesc should send someone to check my electricity meter, because i firmly believe that there is a fault in meter reading. I demand a checking of my electricity meter and reassessment of my electricity bill for the above mentioned period. I hope and expect an action plan will be taken very soon and this will be resolved at the earliest.[my contact number [protected]]

                                        This month i have received very high electricity bill from cesc kolkata. Actually all our family members went bright street on 3rd june and came home on 30th june. Our home closed for said period. That's why electric was not used in that period from 4th june to 29 june. But the electric bill came above the actual electric bill. This power bill shock us.

                                        I have a doubt in my mind that either electric metre is not working properly or someone is doing electric theft from our metre. Please send your executive to check the electric metre. So request you to kindly look into it & resolve it as soon as possible.
